The Masks of Garmadon
Chapter 1 : The Master of Destruction
Special Thanks : Giving a thanks to ItsYoGreenGirl for the Inspirations from "It Takes Two" that has Inspired quite a few chapters that will appear in this story, as well as her OC that will appear, known as Liv Garmadon, and that story has also inspired three new characters the Young Ninjas will come across.
Side Note : This Story will occasionally have parts where it's from a specific character's point of view, or even look into the Journals of the Young Ninjas, similar to The Last Wish from The Plague and The Pirates where Eric was periodically writing in his journal, same thing will occasionally happen here, so keep an eye out for that.
February 12th, 2045 - 8:45 p.m.
"I really wish things could have gone better for me in the past months, but I guess not everything goes the way you want or the way you planned, especially if your a Ninja, my sister, my cousins, and the rest of my friends have gone their separate ways for now, taking care of their own missions across Ninjago, while I've been protecting the City on my own, well, not exactly on my own. . . but everybody will see the new face soon enough. . . I don't know exactly what it will be like "reuniting" with my sister, my friends, or even my parents, since I haven't seen any of them since, not even Lydia, and I know that's not the easiest thing to live with, being away from those you care about, but it seemed the best for the people of Ninjago City, and if it's best for the people, it seemed best for me as well. . ."
"It's the middle of February, and the Dragon Day Festival was decided to be held during winter, If only Clayton and Alex could see this, I can understand why those two enjoy the snow, especially the fact that their home is surrounded by it, though Ninjago City is as close to a home as I got now, and I'm going to continue whatever I can do to defend it."
In Ninjago City in the middle of the parade, there was a man with two red swords and a green mask, he looked to his right and saw a man with a red mask and nodded, then they both ran into an alleyway.
The two met up with four more people, and they went across a zip line towards another rooftop and began climbing onto a freeway, once there they used a grappling hook to reach Borg Tower.
They walked around Inside, but they couldn't seem to find what they were looking for, just then the Green Mask, walked over to a picture and took it off the wall to reveal. . .

The Mask of Vengeance.
The White Mask went to grab it, but the Green Mask stopped him to reveal the lasers and he used his swords to block them and grab the masks, just as the White Mask grabbed the swords, the alarm went off.
The windows then started getting blocked by metal walls and they all ran back out the circular hole they made in the huge window, once they got outside 5 of the Masked figures were looking down towards the freeway where the grappling hook was, and they suddenly heard somebody doing Spinjitzu.
They turned around and who they saw surprised them.
A Fireball then hit the Blue Mask in the face, and he fell down.
They saw two people standing next to each other, they easily knew once of them was The Amber Ninja, but the other, they did not.
Person : Nice Masks, you guys could almost pass as Ninja.
Charlie then got into his fighting stance and so did his friend.
Charlie : Time to put those dark abilities to the test.
Person : Alright then.
Charlie taunted The Masks, and the Green Mask grabbed the Grappling Gun and ran while the others tried to attack.
Person : I'll take these clowns, stop him!
Charlie : On it!
Charlie quickly fought 2 of the Masks, while his friend fought the others, and once Charlie was clear he started to chase The Green and White Masks.
Charlie : You gonna be okay?
Person : I got it covered, just go!
Charlie nodded and went down the Zipline to follow them, just as the Green Mask made it to the rooftop he cut the line and the White Mask started falling.
White Mask : Aaaaaah!
Charlie used the Zipline to catch The White Mask and drop him near the street where the cops caught him.
The Green Mask landed on the freeway, and took off his green mask, and he got on his bike and started driving.
But something about him seemed familiar to Charlie.
Charlie : Hazel, I need my Car.
Hazel : Your coordinates, Master Charlie?
Charlie : I'm not even gonna try that, you know how to find Me.
Charlie let go of the Zipline and started falling towards the street.
Hazel : Alright.
Charlie continued falling towards the street, as he started beneath him seeing the ground was getting closer, but he kept a serious look on his face, not letting fear control him.
Just then, an Amber and Orange colored Car jumped over a broken part of the Freeway, and caught Charlie.
And that Car was Lloyd's Nightcrawler, which Lydia decided to give to Charlie since she knew he would be protecting the city the most.
Charlie : Ha ha, I could kiss you Hazel.
Hazel : I don't think Xavier or Lydia would approve.
Charlie then gave chase and started driving around the Citizens' Vehicles as he chased the biker.
Charlie : Hazel, who am I chasing?
Hazel : He or she is not in my database.
Charlie : I really should be asking Pixal or Zane this question then, and anyways, who they are, they're good, I may need backup for this.
Hazel : All of the others are currently in active missions across Ninjago, you are on your own.
Charlie : If I had a nickel for every time I heard that in the last five months.
Hazel : You would have $8.65
Charlie : It was an expression!
Charlie continued to chase the mysterious biker as they continued driving around the freeway.
After about 1 Minute, Charlie was either getting stuck between cars, and he then had to have half of the wheels driving on the railing of the freeway.
The biker then drove onto another ramp and jumped over an unfinished part of the freeway, and Charlie did the same.
Charlie then drove right next to the biker and in front of him, just as the biker had slammed his brakes, and Charlie turned the Nightcrawler around and stared at him.
Charlie let out a serious look in his eyes, but the Biker just sat there and stared at him, they both then revved their engines and charged at each other.
The mysterious biker then had two poles with spikes on the end raise and come to the front of the bike.
The spikes then made contact with the ground and sent the biker flying off the bike and down toward the canal.
Charlie : What the?!
Charlie got out of his Car and went to look over the edge and saw the biker use his Parachute, and when he saw it, he gasped.

Charlie : Garmadon. . .
Charlie saw the biker land on a boat in the canal and it drove away.
Hazel : Master Charlie, are you alright?, are you there?
Charlie quickly snapped out of it, and used his commset.
Charlie : Yea Hazel, I'm here, and it's time we get the team back, got it?
Hazel : Affirmative, I'll get word to the others, and have them meet you tomorrow at Borg Tower.
Charlie : Good.
Just then a black and dark purple bike stopped next to Charlie's Nightcrawler, and his friend jumped off it.
Person : Got away?
Charlie : Yep.
Person : My mother wasn't joking, those bikers are crazy.
Charlie : Wouldn't surprise me, she did join them, and so did The Empress of Ninjago, and for a short time, so did the Princess.
Person : Eh, I'm not too concerned, it's only one Mask, they need all ten of them for this to work.
Charlie : Yes, but considering the symbol hasn't changed one bit, I have a feeling that they're planning something else with Garmadon.
Person : True, but It's safe to say they're gone for now, with one escaped, and another arrested, so let's just get outta here.
Charlie : Alright.
Charlie and his friend left the freeway, and used their vehicles and drove off into the lit night city.
February 13th, 10:45 a.m.
Some armored thugs were forcing citizens to work on the grassy plains in Ignacia Village, and the guards were keeping watching.
Leader : This sun is blistering like crazy. . . work!
Guard : You heard your Master, work!
The guard used a whip and nearly hit one of the people, who slightly peeked her head up. . .
.
And revealed herself to be Maya Smith.
Maya : I can't ever seem to catch a break from villains, gangsters, crooks, hoodlums, criminals, you name it.
Citizen : True, but that sort of mood isn't helping.
Just then, a young boy carrying a pole over his shoulders with buckets on the ends, was walking by.
Leader : You there, Peasant, bring me water.
The young boy just stood there and slightly moved the pole over his left shoulder, and the side of the pole behind his shoulders was pointing towards the sky, why the other was near the ground.
Leader : You hear me, bring me some water!
Just then, he removed his straw hat, and looked at the guards.
Young Boy : Thirsty?
Guard : Wait, its-
Guard 2 : The Master of Water, Eric!
Leader : I don't care, get him!
The guards charged at Eric, and he used the bucket on each end of the pole to hit the guards, and throw them down the small hillside.
Eric smiled mischievously at the guards, as they were knocked out, and was about to look back at the Leader.
Leader : Fine, I'll take him myself
Another one of the "Citizens" looked up, and was revealed to be Nya.
Nya : That's my little boy.
Maya : Come on Eric, kick his butt!
Eric used the pole and one of the buckets grabbed the leader and threw him back into the water where the citizens were working.
He then dropped the pole and moved the water around with his hands, and threw them at the Leader.
One of them hit him in the face, and he fell back and coughed up some of the water.
Eric put one of his hands on his hip, and smiled mischievously at the Leader.
Eric : Still thirsty?
The Leader charged at Eric, and he used his spare hand of grab his spear, and since the Leader had a strong grip, he was sent flying with the spear as Eric splashed the Leader with the other ball of water.
The Citizens then cheered at Eric, and he walked over to his mother and hugged her.
Nya : I knew you could do it.
Eric : Well at least now I can move water and control it, so that made it easier.
Nya then slightly dug her knuckles into her son's black curly bowl-cut hair, which made them both laugh.
Eric : You okay, Mom?
Nya : I'm alright, though those guys caught me off guard a few days ago.
Eric : Gramma?
Maya : I'm alright Sweetie, thanks for that just now.
Eric : Of course.
Eric hugged his grandmother and smiled at her, and Nya before his commset went off.
Eric : Hello?
Hazel : Eric, it's Hazel, Master Charlie requires your assistance in Ninjago City.
Eric : Got it, I'm on my way.
Nya : Duty calls?
Eric : Yep.
Eric slowly started walking away and Nya smiled at her mother and she nodded, before Nya did Spinjitzu, and Eric was then wearing his Mother's Resistance Robes.
Eric : Whoa.
The suit was exactly the same, only it didn't have the extra armor around his waist.
Nya : And I think I should give you this Eric.
Nya then handed Eric her Silver Spear she used when they fought the Sons of Garmadon.
Eric : Thank you, Mom.
Nya : Just another way for me to say that I'm proud of you.
Nya then hugged her Son, and Eric returned the hug.
Eric : I love you so much, Mom.
Nya : I love you too Eric. . . so much, now go protect the City.
Eric smiled and nodded, as he pulled on his hood and ran off towards Ninjago City.
Maya : You obviously did a great job training him Nya.
Nya : I'm insanely proud of who Eric's become, he greatly accepted who he is, and saw himself in a better way, and unlocked his true potential, learning to control his powers, I wouldn't have anyone else be my son than him.
Nya had small tears form in her eyes when she smiled at Maya, and she smiled back.
Glacier Barrens Monastery, 11:02 a.m.
The blizzard blew the doors open, and Richard, Nina, and Siddie rolled inside the door, and they quickly closed it.
Nina : Siddie, you're my best friend, but for now, you've got to be my worst enemy, you have no clue how the Oni Masks work.
Siddie : And I don't need too, but what I do know, is whoever's hands they lie in will have their hands on tremendous power, and that may be too much for us to bear if they get their hands on them all.
Richard : Not only that, but our Fathers have been missing for months, you can't possibly say you aren't worried.
Nina : Why should you be, over the past year, your Father hasn't been a huge part of your life to begin with.
Richard gasped in the most playfully offended and started Nina as he removed his hood.
Nina and Siddie laughed and after a few seconds Richard did as well.
Richard : But really, are you really not worried?
Siddie : I am, I almost lost my Daddy once before, I'm not going to again.
Richard : Wherever they are, it's been almost half of a year, it's time we find out what happened to them.
Nina : We've been doing this for almost a month, and ever place we end up it's not them. . . That's It I'm quitting!
Siddie : I hate losing people in my Life, both of my parents have been missing for too long now, and they would never quit of Me, so we aren't to quit of My Parents, or any of yours or our friends.
Nina : If they're really still out there somewhere, couldn't they find a way to send a message, or at least say they're still alive. . . they're wise, they'll find a way.
Richard : We just have to keep looking, Nina.
Nina : Yea you do that rock headed lovebirds, and while you two are at it, I'll be doing something more useful, like being a Ninja!
Siddie : Oh Really, some Ninja you really are, I've seen you talk more than you fight!
Nina : Yea, well I've seen your wind, or perhaps, air-headed boyfriend do nothing but sit there and judge himself on his own past!
Richard : My life has been very traumatic because I've had one of Ninjago's Great Villains as my Dad, you can't possibly understand that!
Nina : Well at least I'm entertaining, all you two do is judge and act like you know everything!
Citizen : Will you please stop fighting!
Just then the others started breaking their vows of silence one by one, and they then turned their anger on the kids.
Their commsets went off and they saw they were needed in Ninjago City.
Richard : While this may be fun to be a part of, we gotta run!
The three of them pulled on their hoods, and ran towards the door, and opened it and ran out into the Cold.
Ninjago City Harbor, 11:46 a.m.
Xavier and Felicia were down at the docks fighting against the Mechanic, after they raided his warehouse and arrested his men, and he was using a Flamethrower Arm against Felicia.
Hazel : Xavier, Master Charlie requires Felicia and your attention in Ninjago City.
Xavier : Is it Serious?
Felicia flipped off the rooftop and landed on the dock
Hazel : It appears so, did I catch you at a bad time?
Felicia : Xavier, a little help!
Mechanic : Hot off the grill, the Mechanic is back in Ninjago!
Felicia tried to use her powers against the Mechanic's Flamethrower but it was too strong, and it blasted her back.
Felicia : When my Dad said fight Fire with Fire, he clearly didn't know what he was talking about.
Xavier : We will be there shortly.
Mechanic : Now watch out for the Crossfire!
Felicia : Hey, you're stealing my lines!
The Mechanic was about to use his flamethrower again, before Xavier slammed his hands into the docks, and an Ice Trail appeared and froze the Mechanic.
Xavier : Who likes Ice Cream, I do!
Xavier then removed his hood and turned off his cloak.
Xavier : How was that for a last line Felicia, can we leave now!
Felicia : Nice line, but I have an itch, and unless your planning on scratching, get me out of here!
Xavier looked and saw he froze Felicia as well.
Xavier : Hold on.
He then threw his shurikens into the Ice and punched into between them and the ice broke apart.
Felicia : Thanks, now let's go see my little brother.
2 Hours Later. . .
Borg Tower, 2:00 p.m.
The Young Ninjas were in Borg Tower, in the Apartment Section of the building, and they were in Charlie's Apartment, which Borg gave him after Charlie stayed to protect Ninjago City.
Charlie opened the sliding door and saw his friends socializing with each other, and smiled when he saw his sister was there waiting for them.
She smiled, and ran over to him when she saw her little brother and high-fived him.
Felicia : There you are little bro, you're late.
Xavier : Felicia was late too, if it is any consolation.
Charlie : Thanks for meeting me here guys, I know it's been a while since every one of us were under one roof.
The others smirked and giggled when they heard Charlie speak, which made him confused, even more so when Xavier whispered to Eric.
Xavier : Did he hit puberty early?
Eric smiled at Charlie when he heard that, which made him confused even more.
Charlie : What?
Nina : Are we gonna talk about it?
Charlie : Talk about what?
Siddie : Charlie, it's your voice, it's gotten. . .
Xavier : Lower.
Felicia : Sounds like even at 7, that my little brother is growing up.
Felicia then started digging her knuckles into Charlie's hair, making him laugh.
Charlie : Ow, Felicia quit it!
Felicia : Nope!
Charlie was still laughing and tried to get his sister to quit through his laughter.
Charlie : Stoooooooop!
Felicia finally stopped and stepped back towards the others.
Just then there was a knock on the Sliding door, and they others turned to see Alex standing there, and she was wearing the same Robes as Eric, only hers had the metal armor around her waist, and the accents were Light-Blue and Royal Yellow instead of Azure.
Eric : Alex. . .
Princess Alex : Eric.
Alex jumped and embraced her boyfriend, and Eric caught her and slightly laughed.
Eric let Alex down and kissed her, and she returned the kiss, and smiled at each other after parting, and Eric held Alex's hand.
Princess Alex : I missed you.
Eric : I missed you too.
Felicia : I didn't miss the kissing moments.
Nina : Leave them alone, *sigh* has there been any word from your Mother, or your Grandfather?
Charlie : Not since they went searching for The Oni Masks, I don't know where they are.
Siddie : Your Mother will come back Charlie, and so will your Grandfather.
Just then as Charlie moved his face mask down more so it wouldn't cover his neck, the others saw a pretty huge but also skinny scar on the right side of his neck, going all the way up to just beneath the right side of his right cheek.
Felicia : Charlie, what happened to you?
Charlie : It was an escape attempt by Ultraviolet at Kryptarium Prison, she got away, and. . .
Felicia : Yea?
Charlie : Let's just say this was her way of giving me a warning, not to try and stop her again, telling me to quit, but you know me, let alone Ninja.
Young Ninjas : Ninja Never Quit!
Charlie walked in front of his friends a little bit, before turning around and grabbing his tablet.
Charlie : Anyways, Not everybody comes back Siddie, but that's not why I called you guys here, I called you because of this.
Charlie turned the Tablet on and showed them the symbol.
Siddie : Lord Garmadon?
Charlie : After I did my poking around, I remembered it was the symbol to-
Xavier : The Sons of Garmadon, the Mysterious Criminal Syndicate that's been growing prominence in Ninjago City.
Charlie : 18 Hours Ago, they stole an artifact from Cyrus Borg, Some mask-
Person : Not just some mask, The Oni Mask, there are only ten in existence.
Nina then showed Xavier and Eric out of the way and spoke.
Nina : Okay, now I'm confused, how can there be ten Masks, when you just said it's The Only Mask.
Eric : Not only sis, Oni.
Xavier : The Oni have been said to be all powerful beings, deemed to predate Ninjago.
Person : Each Mask embodies one of the ten Oni Warlords, and while a specific "ability", like Resurrection can be done with three, whoever holds them all will hold great tremendous power.
The person they were talking to had Wavy Short Blonde Hair, with a right side parting, and a few strands of his hair were dark purple.
Charlie : Ninja, this is Liam, he's The Elemental Master of Destruction, I've asked him here.
Felicia : The Master of Destruction?
Liam : Sorry if you are not familiar with my "heritage", I use my powers with Pride and Honor, and while Destructive, I use them to help your leader here protect Ninjago City.
Charlie : Liam's also the Son of Liv Garmadon, Emperor Lloyd's Twin Sister, making him The Princess' Cousin, as well as The Grandson of Garmadon.
Richard : Wow, another cousin, what's that now, six?
Liam : She actually has seven, but you'll meet my little sister soon enough.
Just then another man walked into the room and stood beside Liam.
Person : Liam is correct, as of right now, besides Liam, the rest of the Garmadon Family Tree have been honoring their privacy, as they have been making it a top priority to do the safety of Ninjago.
Charlie : And this is Hutchins, Master of Arms and Council to the Royal Family, Emperor Lloyd decided to give him another chance after Siddie and Xavier let him reveal the good he still had, by releasing Pixal.
Xavier : Again, Thank you for that, Sir.
Hutchins : Anytime.
Felicia : Why did you join the SoG anyway?
Charlie : Not only did the Snake kill Empress Harumi's Parents, but it killed Hutchins' Family as well, his wife and both of his kids, when he had worked part time at the palace, now working full time and living there, making it a priority to defend the Royal Family.
Hutchins : Could not have said that better myself.
Siddie : Let me guess, they have an Oni Mask too.
Nina : Two, now there's Two?
Eric smiled at Hutchins as he put his hand over Nina's Mouth.
Hutchins : Emperor Lloyd will delivering a public speech tomorrow to the people of Ninjago City, and I worry that the Sons of Garmadon will make an attempt to steal the Mask, and we could use your assistance, should you all keep a low profile.
Xavier then used his cloak and smiled at Hutchins
Xavier : We're Ninja, nobody will know we're there!
Charlie : Just let us know where, and when.
Charlie bowed in respect to Hutchins, and they then left to get ready for tomorrow.
Next Time on The Masks of Garmadon : The Young Ninjas arrive at the Palace Gates to defend it from the Sons of Garmadon, but one's gorgeous looks seem to be distracting the team's leader, just as an opportunity to reunite comes up, Charlie freaks out, quickly knowing that his friends will stand beside him, and another Destructive figure comes up in the palace, and stands beside Liam to help him control his powers better, because two of the people he's closest too, he may hurt in the process, if he and they are not careful. . .
Will the SoG steal the Mask? Who is the Next New Face? What will Charlie do in the Palace?

Side Note : For now, the events of the story will only take small periodic strays from the events of Season 8 9, due to there being ten Oni Masks instead of three, but the real straying from the events of the show itself, may or may not come until the story Reaches Season 9, but we'll all have to wait and see.
