About the time Lucifer rides in with his dark Corvette to the police parking station, Chloe quickly jumps right out of her gray boring car to shout, "Thank God, Lucifer! You came! We have a homicide case that can't be ignored."
Lucifer feels disgusted at hearing Chloe's words speaking of his Father with his name in one sentence. He says, "Well that was a bit of an oxymoron, Detective. And by the way, hello to you as well!"
He waves like nothing happened a few seconds before. Chloe looks pretty annoyed, yet continues with her sudden outburst, "Lucifer, I'll tell you on the way. Right now, get in the car. We need to get to the location stat."
"Alright Detective!" Lucifer says as he holds both hands up to gesture her to calm down. "What is it with all the excitement? I'm sure it's just your everyday boring police case."
As they head over to Chloe's car, she picks up her arms in emphasis as she talks to Lucifer, "Well this is going to be a weird one." She opens the door and gets in as Lucifer does the same, "A woman by the name of Gertrude Kilna was murdered just five minutes ago."
Chloe Decker starts up her car and in reverse to quickly get out. Then puts it in drive as she steps on the pedal. Then she continues, "The crazy thing about it is that no one was an enemy to her which leads us to believe there is not suspect to look for. Except for..."
"Go on, Detective." Lucifer seriously says then smiles, "You're right by the way! It is getting quite jolly exciting! I bloody love it!"
"Well... Kilna didn't have much of a family per say, yet I heard there is a grand total of six other living things that live in her house."
"Jolly good, still pretty much a family. In my case, I know I am in a dysfunctional, yet overbearing family myself. Hopefully there's no cats. I hate those little buggers! Always ruin things!"
"Well... sorry to say this..." Chloe trails off her sentence as she pulls into the victim's white one-story house surrounded by yellow crime scene tape. As they step into the door, a sheer terror crosses Lucifer's eyes.
