The cats around the house were gathered into the living room where their previous owner lays. Chloe thought mischievously about keeping at least five of the six cats for Lucifer to take care of just for the time being. This will so make his life more like Hell on Earth. This should get him to stop with all the annoying metaphors he keeps running on about angels, demons, and Devil talk.

Lucifer was standing in the same spot near the door. He had only one thing on his mind. The two women he left back at Lux who were waiting for him to have such an amazing night. He took out his silver metal flask of whiskey from his gray suit jacket. Then he kept sipping as Lopez and Chloe were plotting secretly behind his back.

Chloe and Lopez comes to where Lucifer stands. Each one are holding three cats in their arms. Lopez makes Lucifer jump from his dazed trance by joyfully saying, "Look, Lucifer, at the little kitties! They'll probably point us to the murder."

Lucifer jumps up and almost spills a little alcohol on the floor. He sighs as he puts his flask back in his inside jacket pocket. Lucifer grumbles a bit, "For goodness sake, Ms. Lopez! I was trying to have myself a bloody drink!"

Chloe laughs then snorts as she carries a gray cat, calico cat, and gray tiger cat. She says, "Well you should never have alcohol at a crime scene, Lucifer!"

Lucifer smiles nervously as he is overwhelmed by the detective's reaction. Ella is holding two black cats and an orange tabby cat as she is standing beside Chloe. She cradles all of them as they patiently meow. Ella cries with joy, "So want to keep at least two till the whole thing blows over! But, as I promised Chloe, Lucifer is the cat mama for the week!"

She then gives Lucifer one of the two black cats and orange cat. Lucifer shoots back before she could give the two to him. He protests, "Ms. Lopez, I don't do well with cats. And obviously I am not their cat mum either. I don't want to do it. So take them back."

"Don't worry, Lucifer! They'll get to know you sooner or later!"

Ella gives the two to Lucifer with no hesitation this time. She then cradles the most sleepy one in her arms. The two cats that were handed to Lucifer were crying and trying to get away.

Chloe tries to contain in her laugh as she says, "Well they sure have a lot of getting used to you!"

All three checked out of the house as the clean-up crew from the police department comes in to bag up Gertrude Kilna to take to the morgue. Hopefully there could be a lead from there.
