Chapter 8 : The Quiet One
Last Time on The Masks of Garmadon : Killow takes The Oni's Mercenaries to a Salvage Yard in search of one of his Comrades, before being discovered and chased across the Port Side of Ninjago City, and the team then takes their new friend Marco to Ronin's Chop Shop in search of The Mask of Violence, in doing so, they meet up with Jay's Old Friend known as Scott, and they find Ronin, just as shoots at Alex, and grazes her arm, and Chopper Maroon shows up to knock out Ronin, and they find The Mask of Violence, they then leave to take Alex to a hospital to get healed, while Killow calls Commissioner Stevens and gives him Ronin's Location to arrest him yet again, and with three Oni Masks in The Oni's Mercenaries' hands, they decided to leave The Sons of Garmadon behind, until they discover who's avoiding Killow's Orders, and pulling the strings.

February 20th, 11:03 a.m.
Primeval's Eye. . .
"My Aunt Liv, Brenden, who I consider more than just my uncle, my Mommy, and my Daddy have all trekked through this dark and dangerous place, and while I'm glad I have Liv, Liam, and Charlie here, I just can't stop thinking about them, I really miss my Mommy and Daddy, and even I'm wanting to be the one to go insane just to have them back, I loved them so much, and to let go of them, after how happy I was... I don't know If I will ever be really happy again, especially without my Daddy."
Charlie, Lydia, Liv, and Liam were all running through Primeval's Eye from some sort of Monster. . .
Though Liv was bigger and could run faster, she was staying behind the kids to make sure nothing bad happened.
Just then a tree fell and one of the branches tripped Lydia.
Charlie : Come on!
Charlie grabbed Lydia's hand and helped her stand up and they kept running.
Princess Lydia : I thought Grundles didn't even exist anymore.
Liv : They aren't supposed too!
Liam : We're in a jungle that whoever comes in, doesn't come out, you ever think that there may have been an unrecorded existence of Grundles here?!
Charlie : Not helping!
The four them fell off of a small cliff, and bounced off the ground and into a small pit.
They saw they were okay, but Lydia was shivering in fear as the Grundle was getting closer, and Liv put her arm around her niece of calm her down, but it didn't seem to help much until the Grundle walked away.
Three of them climbed out of the pit, but Lydia couldn't get a foothold.
Liv turned around and giggled when she saw Lydia's hands.
Princess Lydia : Help. . .
Lydia giggled a small bit, before Liv got down to help Lydia out of the pit, once she did, she grabbed Lydia by her waist, and then spun around as she carried Lydia in her arms.
Princess Lydia : *Laughing*
Liv stopped spinning, and let Lydia smile at her, glad she got her in a better mood, and she saw what Lydia wanted and she was lightly kicking her legs.
Princess Lydia : Aunt Liv, you can put me down now.
Liv put Lydia down and she walked over to Charlie.
Charlie hurt his shoulder a bit when he fell, and since Liam had an Ice Pack, Lydia walked over to Charlie with it.
Princess Lydia : Are you okay?
Charlie : Yea, I just, need a second.
Princess Lydia : Let me see.
Lydia walked over to Charlie with the Ice Pack, and moved pulled the Neck hole to where it would expose his shoulder, allowing Lydia to put the Ice Pack on it and attach it to Charlie's arm since the Ice Pack had a strap, and she fixed Charlie's suit with the Ice Pack still inside it, healing his shoulder.
Princess Lydia : How's that?
Charlie : Good, very close, no wait I mean, snugly, ah I mean-
Lydia giggled at Charlie, and he shared a smile with her.
Princess Lydia : Are you sure we're going the right way?
Charlie : Pretty sure.
Charlie pulled out the Map and let the others look also.
Charlie : If the Map's correct, there's a river just that way that leads straight through Primeval's Eye straight to the Oni Temple that holds The Oni Mask of Hatred.
Liv : Alright.
Princess Lydia : *Sigh* I don't know about all this Charlie, Maybe it's smarter if we turn back and try to find the others, your shoulder is still hurt, and we're all alone out here.
Charlie : I'm doing okay, and besides, we can't take that chance, if the Sons of Garmadon get The Mask of Hatred, they'll have the three requires to resurrect Garmadon again.
Liv : Actually Charlie, they won't.
Charlie : What do you Mean?
Liv : I saw the footage from The Oni's Mercenaries earlier, Killow's Leading them now, and he still has The Mask of Deception, so they need to steal it again, so for now, my Father isn't coming back.
Charlie : Still, it'll be better if they have to worry about two Masks instead of One.
Liam : Besides, I did a scan with my phone from that Smoke in the distance, The Amber's Grace is Fourteen Miles from here.
Lydia then got a thought, and she put her hands on her hips and smiled at Charlie.
Princess Lydia : Okay, but I want you to rest your shoulder for a bit and let me take a turn!
Lydia but her hand on her hip, as she grabbed Charlie's Mace and smiled at him, and then started cutting through the vines and shrubbery.
Liv : You sure can pick 'em Charlie.
Charlie : Oh, ha ha.
Meanwhile at The Amber's Grace.
Kai, Nina, Maya, Ray, Montgomery, Alizah, and Clayton were all still trying to fix The Amber's Grace.
While Felicia got the baby out onto the deck since Nya got the Tomorrow's Tea to accelerate the baby's age both Mentally and Physically back to Normal.
Felicia : Okay.
Nya : Let's hope this works!
Nya threw the Tomorrow's Tea, and everybody stayed back as the cloud surrounded the child, and the Tea then created a huge flash, and when they stood up, who they saw was a sight to Montgomery's eyes.
Montgomery : Hutchins!
Hutchins : What the?
Hutchins peeked his head up and saw The Young Ninja, as well as Kai and Nya.
Montgomery went over to Hutchins and helped him stand up, but he was confused.
Hutchins : What happened, where the heck am I?
Kai : You're on my Son's ship, The Amber's Grace.
Hutchins : What, but how, what happened at the Palace, are they-
Montgomery put his hand on Hutchins arm and shook his head, and Hutchins punched the Mast of the ship in guilt.
Hutchins : I swore to Protect to Royal Family and now they're all dead!
Alizah : Not all of them.
Hutchins : Who's left?
Ray : The Princess.
Hutchins : The Gold Princess is alive, where is she?!
Nya : Out in the Jungle, but we won't be able to find her or Charlie, Liv, and Liam until we get The ship over these trees.
Hutchins : I'm not breaking my Promise to protect the Royal Family, what can I do.
Kai : See if you can help me with the Thrusters, they've blown in our faces twice now.
Just then, they heard a loud vicious growl. . .
Nina : That's not my stomach growling.
Nya : Sweetie, you've said that the last time.
Just then they heard a large roaring noise.
Nina : What's That?!
It was the Samurai X Suit and it landed, and Xavier was shocked by who it was.
Pixal : Guess who?
Xavier : Mom!
Pixal got out of the suit and landed on the bridge, and Xavier threw himself into his Mother's arms.
Xavier : I missed you.
Pixal : I missed you too Son.
Nya : Pixal. . . how?
Pixal : I escaped The Sons of Garmadon a few days ago, last night I was outside Primeval's Eye when I saw a ship go down, so I decided to investigate, knowing from the size that it was The Amber's Grace.
Hazel : You also found my, er, your suit.
Pixal : It's okay Hazel, it's yours now.
Hazel smiled at Xavier's Mother, and Pixal smiled back.
Pixal : I also found this. . .
Maya : What is it?
Pixal : A page from Princess Lydia's Journal, Charlie used it to leave a Note, saying that he, Liv, Liam, and Princess Lydia are going to the Oni Temple.
Maya : Well good, that means they're okay.
Ray : That's one thing I won't understand.
Kai : What, Dad?
Ray : The fact now that the Master of Creation or Destruction, they keep giving them an L name.
Nina : I can see his point there, first it was Lloyd and Liv, then Liam and Lydia. . .what's next, a surprising twist where both the boy and girl are named Larry?
Everybody laughed at Nina's joke, even Hutchins, which was surprising to Kai and Nya to see the Royal Advisor in a better mood.
Hutchins : Well, we should work on fixing this thing If we're going to find The Princess, as well as the others.
Maya : He's right, let's keep working.
Everybody got back to work, and Xavier was happy his Girlfriend and his Mother were back.
About 12 Miles from The Amber's Grace.
Killow, Marco, Scott, and The Oni's Mercenaries came over a hillside with their Bikes, when they saw the smoke.
Killow : The Amber's Grace did go down, if my old comrades reach that ship first then they'll definitely have a Problem.
Eric : True, but if we head down there, they may steal The Mask of Deception, we can't risk that.
Princess Alex : Eric's right, maybe we should wait a little while, and go when there's a sign of attack.
Marco : I agree.
Killow : Alright, we'll wait here a little bit.
Meanwhile, near Strangler's Path. . .
Lydia was still using Charlie's Mace to cut through the underbrush, while Charlie looked at the Map, and Liam and Liv followed them.
Princess Lydia : I really hope Destin and Nova are okay.
Liam : If those two are near each other, I'm sure their company will make them okay enough on The Amber's Grace.
Princess Lydia : Trekking through a jungle full of unknown creatures, not knowing what's happening, the sun over us, which is actually nice for the middle of winter, and a bunch of bugs, is this what adventure feels like?
Charlie : Yes.
Princess Lydia : I Love it!
Charlie : Stuck in a Palace all of your life, did you ever imagine being in a place like this.
Princess Lydia : You mean hacking my way through Primeval's Eye?
Charlie : Yes.
Princess Lydia : Honestly, not so much, but to be Perfectly honest. . .
Charlie looked at Lydia as she turned around to say something
Princess Lydia : I always dreamed of being with you.
Charlie smiled at hearing that, that even his actions over the past five months make Lydia the one that has a crush on him, and what not seems to be the other way around.
Charlie then whispered to Liv.
Charlie : For once the girl is into me and not the other way around, score!
Charlie : So, according to this, we're almost to the Black River. We just have to get past this part that reads "Strangler's Path."
Liam : Did you say Strangler's Path, Well That's cheery. Why is it called that?
Charlie : Places like these always have colorful names. Half the time, it doesn't mean anything. The Caves of Despair, Blind Man's Eye, Hiroshi's Labyrinth, Frozen Wasteland, Island of Darkness, These kinds of places will always have a strange name, Probably just some bored mapmaker with a wild-
Liv : Charlie?
Charlie felt something wrap around his leg, and when the others turned around, he started getting pulled away.
Charlie : Oh Come on!
Princess Lydia : Charlie!
The three of them ran after Charlie, but because Charlie was in trouble somehow Lydia was running much faster.
Charlie : Lydia!
Charlie : Oh, You're kidding me.
Charlie was approaching the tree and was about to be eaten
Just then, his Mace landed on the branches and broke the tree, it let out a weird cry, and the branches and vines disappeared.
Charlie : I-It just-It tried to-You just threw-How did the tree—Where did you learn to throw a Mace like that?
Princess Lydia : Idon't know. You were gonna be eaten. I-I got lucky, I guess.
Charlie : Luck?!, you were clear over here-
Lydia pulled on Charlie's hand, and she stood on her toes and took the moment to kiss Charlie's cheek.
Liv had actually tears form in her eyes, and Liam smiled at seeing Lydia kiss her crush.
Charlie was left shocked as he stared at Lydia.
Princess Lydia : I'm sorry, Should I, not have done that?
Charlie : No, wait I Mean yes *Sigh* I guess now we know why they call it Strangler's Path.
Charlie grabbed the Mace and gave it to Lydia and she gave him the Map.
Lydia also saw The Ice Pack was gone, because it was a few feet back and it was broken.
Princess Lydia : is your shoulder okay?
Charlie : Yea, I'm good.
Lydia smiled and nodded, and they kept walking forward, as Lydia kept cutting through the vines and shrubbery to reach the next part of the Map.
Charlie smiled at Lydia and Liv giggled, just as Charlie mentioned the next part of the Map.
Meanwhile on The Amber's Grace. . .
Xavier, Hazel, and Pixal were trying to fix the Scanners and The Communication Links, but it kept failing.
Xavier : Is it working now?
Pixal : No.
Xavier : Now?
Hazel : No!
Xavier : I'm detecting Frustration in you two, but, that is not needed, is something wrong?
Hazel : No.
Xavier could easily see his Girlfriend wasn't being straight, and he tried to help.
Xavier : Hazel. . .
Hazel : Okay, Xavier can I ask you an honest question?
Xavier : I was willing to give up half my heart for you after The Plague Doctor, so I would never lose you again Hazel, you can ask me anything.
Hazel : Was I more useful to you inside the Computer?
Xavier was shocked and confused by Hazel's Question, and he wanted it to be clear.
Xavier : What sort of Question are you trying to ask Me?
Hazel sighed as she tried to explain.
Hazel : I want you to be honest with me Xavier, I became the 3rd Samurai X because I wanted to be a valuable asset and part of the Team, but. . .
Xavier put his hand on Hazel's Shoulder, and she kept talking.
Hazel : But I don't want to return to the Computer again to do it, The New Ninjigma taught me a lesson, and I like having my body, but If you think it's better if I'm inside your head-
Xavier : That Choice has always been yours Hazel, not Mine, and while he saved you, it most certainly wasn't Eric's either, and I am certain that's why be brought you to my Grandfather, so he could fix you, and for one, don't like-
Hazel frowned thinking Xavier was going to say something Mean.
Xavier : But Love seeing you like this, because I love you, and I wouldn't have anybody else as my Girl.
Hazel smiled with tears in her eyes, and she couldn't think of anything to say.
Hazel : Xavier. . . I-
Xavier wrapped his arms around Hazel's waist and smiled.
Hazel : What are you doing?
Xavier : This.
Xavier leaned forward and kissed Hazel, and she wrapped her arms around his neck and returned the kiss, and Pixal then had tears in her own eyes after seeing her Son's moment with Hazel, since it reminded her on herself and Zane.
After parting they got back to work on the consoles, before a question entered Xavier's Mind.
Xavier : Mom.
Pixal : Yes, Xavier?
Xavier : Where's Dad?
Pixal : I don't know where he is Son, he's been missing far longer than I have, I was trying to search for him, but either his tracking is disabled, or he may already be gone, but until we find him, I won't leave your side.
Xavier hugged his Mother, and Pixal returned the hug, and had the moment with her son.
Xavier : I love you Mom.
Pixal : I love you too, Xavier.
Meanwhile. . .
After taking a break, The Oni's Mercenaries heard enemy fire coming from the Forest, so they decided to try and reach the others and warn them.
Just then, Alex and Richard stopped their bikes and Killow walked over to them.
Killow : Why did we stop?
Richard : Because last time I checked, I'm the only one who can fly.
Marco and Richard pointed towards the Cliff, and Killow nodded.
Killow : Not a Problem.
Killow used The Mask of Deception to levitate the rocks and make a bridge.
Killow : Let's Go, we need to warn your friends, and quick.
Richard : Right.
Killow cross the bridge first, and the others followed him as they continued heading towards The Young Ninja's Location.
Meanwhile on The Amber's Grace, 20 Minutes Later. . .
Everybody was still working on fixing The Amber's Grace, but it was tiring them out.
Montgomery : I really hope Charlie, and my little sister are okay.
Kai : Montgomery, I'm sure she's fine, same with my son, they both seem to be looking out for each other.
Felicia then whistled, and then Kai and Nya smirked.
Nya : Yea, those two seem to have gotten Close.
Montgomery : What'll we call Charlie then, The Royal Ninja?
Hutchins : I would have said The Elemental Prince, since Charlie can absorb every element.
Alizah : Except Mine.
Nya : Why not yours Alizah?
Alizah : My Destructive and Creative capabilities make my powers too strong for anybody to absorb or bear except for myself, so I guess that just makes me more important in some scenarios, good news is also my powers can't be extracted or taken, but I can, so somebody may try finding ways to control me an all that, but I'm six, not stupid, they'll have to try hard to get through me.
Nya : You sound just like your Mother.
Alizah smiled at hearing that, since she saw Liv as her role model.
Meanwhile in Primeval's Eye. . . .
Charlie, Liam, and Liv were still looking at the Map while Lydia was cutting their way through. . .
Lydia kept cutting until she reached some sort of Boat, that had The Sons of Garmadon symbol, but because it was right next to her and the way the symbol looked, it freaked her out.
Princess Lydia : *Scream*
Charlie put his hand on Lydia's Shoulder to calm her, as she looked at Charlie and gave him his Mace back.
Charlie : The Sons of Garmadon insignia.
Princess Lydia : But what is it doing here?
Liam : Good question.
Charlie climbed onto the boat, and so did Liam and Liv, and Charlie leaned over, and grabbed Lydia by wrapping his arms around her waist to help pull her up to the boat.
Princess Lydia : Is anyone there?
Charlie : No, It's abandoned. . .
Just then, they saw another Map on the boat
Charlie : The same Map?!
Princess Lydia : But I thought nobody else besides my aunt knew where The Oni Temple was located?
Liv : Brenden knows the location too, but we haven't seen him for a while.
Charlie : Brenden was and still is one of my Mentors, there's no way he would just flip like this.
Liam : So why are there two maps?
Charlie : The Quiet One must have tried sending an expedition to recover the Mask.
Princess Lydia : It doesn't look like they got very far.
Charlie : Yea, but where did they go... and what happened to them?
Lydia then sees a key on the boat's desk, and smiles at Charlie.
Princess Lydia : Maybe we'll have better luck.
Lydia went to the wheel and tried turning the key, but the boat kept stalling.
Princess Lydia : Come on you one hinge boat.
Lydia gave a light kick to the fuse box, and the boat started.
It moved and it made, all four of them laugh.
Charlie : I'm beginning to think we are good luck together.
Charlie went to the front of the boat to try and see how deep it was, and to help steer.
Liv was standing near Lydia at the wheel, and Liam was near the desk looking at the Map.
Charlie : It's about five feet, eh, that's okay, a little to the left Lydia, more rocks.
Lydia steered the boat and moved the gear shift.
Charlie : Not too fast, it's pretty shallow around here except the middle of the river.
They kept going, but as they did, Lydia got a thought in her head.
Princess Lydia : Charlie.
Charlie : Yea?
Princess Lydia : Do you think it's really possible to bring somebody back?
Charlie had a thought about that for a moment, because technically of their parents' old villains weren't "brought back" they escaped The Departed Realm because Vex stole the Remains of the Realm Crystal.
Charlie : I've seen a lot of weird things in my short lifetime, at first I didn't, but... now I'm not so sure.
As they kept going, the questions remained in Lydia's Mind that she wanted to ask.
Princess Lydia : Does any part of you want to see your Mother and Grandfather again?
Charlie : I had one of Ninjago's Greatest Villains turned Heroes as my Mother, and... it while she did come fight beside my father in 2015, she, still somehow to me, seemed like she had a dark mark, while she and I were close because of our personalities, and even our powers, there seemed to have been almost several times where I fought with my mother, once or twice it even got physical, and now it seems like I can never forgive myself, when all she did was worry about Me, and the way I repaid that, was by hurting her.
Liv frowned at hearing Charlie say such words, but somehow it felt like she could and couldn't relate to that at the same time.
Liv : Your Grandfather?
Charlie looked at his reflection in the water before speaking, and though for a moment.
Charlie : I had perhaps one of not just Ninjago's but Lord Garmadon's Greatest Enemies as my Grandfather, it... was an unusual relationship to Me, but after meeting Me, and seeing the right intentions for him that I had held inside of my heart, he wanted to change his ways, and make things right between my parents, and as much as it seemed like they fought, I still loved him, and I still greatly miss him after my Dad told me he was missing. . . a little to the right, Liddy.
Lydia steered the boat around the rocks, and she asked to change places with Charlie, mostly because she just wanted a bit more space, and Liv was at the wheel and Charlie was standing next to her.
Lydia let a few tears form in her eyes, and Charlie could understand why.
Princess Lydia : I would do anything to see my Daddy again.
Charlie : I don't blame you, how were things with your parents.
Lydia looked up to the clouds and gave a deep breath, before she decided to keep talking.
Princess Lydia : Before she came to your side Aunt Liv, I had one of Ninjago's Greatest Villains as my Mommy, but regardless of such, it seemed like she loved me more than anything else in the whole word, even twice as much or even more than that of being the Empress of Ninjago, or living in the Palace, and, that made me happy that It seemed like My Daddy and I were the only ones my Mommy needed.
Charlie : Your Father?
Lydia looked at herself in the water as well before giving her response, because while he was great, it was painful for her to talk about her Father, knowing he was gone.
She had tears form in her eyes as she turned to speak.
Princess Lydia : I had Ninjago's Greatest Protector and Hero as my Daddy, to me it was the best relationship, My Daddy cared about me more than anything or anybody else in the world did, he was always the one beside Me, and I couldn't have asked for anybody better to care about me, but it wasn't because I was the daughter of Ninjago's Emperor, it was because of my Daddy's heart, and who he was. . .
Princess Lydia : I would do anything to see my Mommy and Daddy again.
Charlie : I feel the same way about the Mother and Grandfather. . . but what's scaring Me the most is-
Liv : They won't be the Family you two recognize.
Lydia had tears in her eyes, but Charlie didn't as they both turned around and nodded, but Liv saw Lydia's tears.
Tears formed in Lydia's eyes as she slowly kept talking while she started crying.
Princess Lydia : I loved my Daddy more than anything else. . . and I lost him right now. . . I can't handle being alone without him. . . I know he's still watching over me, with his heart and soul, but it's not enough...and . . . and I didn't even get to say Goodbye to him. . . and I wasn't ready to say goodbye to my Daddy, I need him with me. . . I love him!
Lydia fell to her knees and cried, and Liam took the wheel and Liv walked over and lifted Lydia into her arms and hugged her, as Lydia cried on her aunt's shoulder.
Liv : I'm sorry Lydia.
Princess Lydia : I can't do this without my Daddy, I miss him. . .
Liv wasn't sure if even she could compare to the sadness Lydia was going through, but she knew the only thing she could do, was be there for her niece.
She managed to get Lydia to stop crying a bit after a few Minutes, and Liv decided to speak.
Princess Lydia : Still, I don't believe it exactly that my Mother, or Charlie's Grandfather were the greatest villains.
Charlie : Really, I might think it was Vex The Formless, or The Omega Oni, or don't say it, Clouse.
Princess Lydia : No, my Mommy once said it was the one you never knew was there in the first place, the one that gets away.
Liv was confused by what Lydia said, but she let the though exit her Mind.
Charlie : The Quiet One. . .
Meanwhile on The Amber's Grace. . .
Hutchins : I think we're making Progress. . .
Felicia : Oh great.
Kai : Felicia what is it?
Felicia : Dad, we got company!
Kai : Okay I know they're the bad guys but their timing is impeccable.
Maya : Now what?
Hazel went over to the Samurai X Mech and got inside.
Xavier : Hazel, what are you doing?
Hazel : Slowing them down, get this thing in the air and fast!
Hazel flew the suit away and went to stall the bikers.
Nya : Hazel can handle herself, we need to this thing in the air, now!
Hutchins : You don't have to tell me, twice.
While Hazel distracted the bikers, Everybody else tried to get The Amber's Grace in the air.
Meanwhile, 5 Minutes later. . .
Liv, Charlie, Liam, and Princess Lydia were still going down The Black River and Liv managed to calm Lydia down, and while slower, she was singing again.
Princess Lydia : The spider's in the house. Sleep sleep. The spider bit the mouse. Sleep deep-
Charlie : No rocks in the water, now there are rocks, that's strange. . .
Princess Lydia : Don't wake up or else you'll find a spider in your mouth.
When Lydia stopped Charlie smiled at her because he liked the sound of her young voice, especially when she was singing, but the pole Charlie was using got grabbed and went beneath the water.
Charlie : What the?!
Liam : That definitely is not a rock!
Liv : Oh great. . .
Just then, the creature rocked the boat and it scared Lydia.
Princess Lydia : What, was that?!
Charlie : I'm guessing what the earlier expedition had ran into, start the engine Liddy, go, Go!
Lydia started the engine and tried to outrun the creature.
As Lydia tried, Charlie and Liv went to the back and looked at the creature catching up.
Princess Lydia : What's in the water?!
Liv : Whatever it is, it's gaining on us.
Charlie : Is this as fast as it can go?
Princess Lydia : It won't go any faster!
Lydia continued to try and steer the boat away but she looked back as one of the creature's claws appeared.
Princess Lydia : *Scream*
Liam : We gotta lighten the load.
Liam and Liv tried throwing the extra things off the boat, but it was little improvement.
The created then broke the front of the boat, and the top part of the back, and it showed it's huge claws.
Princess Lydia : *Scream*
Lydia held onto Charlie, and he pulled out his Mace, but as he did, the creature swam away.
Princess Lydia : Why did it stop?
Liam : I don't know, looks like something scared him off.
Charlie : But what?
Liv : We need to get to shore, now.
Princess Lydia : The current's pulling us away.
Liam : What current?
Just as Liam said that, they hit a rock and the boat started going faster.
Liv saw what they were approaching and so did Charlie, as they continued hitting rocks and going down the current, Lydia tried steering the boat, but it wasn't working with all the bumps in the water.
Charlie : We need to go the other way.
Princess Lydia : The other way, but that thing is back there!
Liv : Reverse the boat, Lydia!
Lydia tried but the lever did nothing.
Princess Lydia : It doesn't work.
Charlie : Then grab onto something, now!
Liam went over to Liv, and she grabbed onto her son.
Lydia held onto the wheel and Charlie grabbed a rope and wrapped it around his, and Lydia's waist, as they approached the Waterfall.
Charlie : Oh great.
Liam : Four Human Cannonballs are on the way.
Princess Lydia : Not the time, Liam!
The four of them approached the Waterfall and Liv ran forward with Liam and jumped while Charlie and Lydia hung onto the boat.
The two of them went over the falls, and Lydia screamed as she and Charlie fell.
Princess Lydia : *Scream*
They hit the water, and were swept onto the rocks by the current.
Meanwhile on The Amber's Grace. . .
Everybody finished repairing the ship and were preparing to go help Charlie.
Nya : Good, it's time to go, Thrusters?
Pixal : Seventy percent.
Nya : Systems?
Kai : She'll fly, but what about Hazel?
Nya : I already said it, she can take care of herself.
Just then, something appeared on the Console.
Maya : Nya, What's that?
Nya : The trace scan that had been running to find The Quiet One's Location, it's finished... but that's odd.
Ray : What?
Nya : It said it originated from The Amber's Grace.
Hutchins : How is that Possible?
Xavier : The only people that were on the Ship the whole time were us, Liv. . . and-
Just then something hit Nya's Mind.
Nya : Princess Lydia is The Quiet One!
Kai and Felicia both gasped, meaning Charlie was in trouble.
Kai : We need to warn my Son, now!
Nya was about to touch the controls but a Sai appeared near her hand.
Ultraviolet : I think it's time for us to finally put our plans into action!
The Sons of Garmadon appeared and surrounded the others in the bridge, but they didn't hear the Ninja talking. . .
But before The Sons of Garmadon could talk, the others pulled out their weapons and fought back
Meanwhile. . .
Lydia and Charlie both came out of the water, coughing on the water, and catching their breath as they swam to the shore. . .
They both laid on their backs, and relaxed for a moment before they realized what happened.
Charlie : Liddy, we made it.
Princess Lydia : Yea, barely.
Charlie : Yea.
Princess Lydia : But we're alive, we, are, Alive!
Charlie giggled and stood up and something caught Lydia's eye.
Princess Lydia : Charlie look!
Charlie : The Oni Temple!
Charlie reached his left hand out, and Lydia gave a smile before she took Charlie's hand.
Princess Lydia : Where are Liam and Liv.
Just then, Charlie's phone went off.
Charlie : Hold on.
Princess Lydia : How does it still work.
Charlie : I threw it when we went over the falls so it wouldn't get wet.
Charlie : Hello?
Liv : Charlie, we got a distress call, we need to quickly head back to The Amber's Grace to help the others, and no, I'm not breaking my Promise, but for now, watch Lydia.
Charlie : I will.
Princess Lydia : I'll be okay Aunt Liv.
Liv : Okay, I'll see you soon.
Charlie ended the call, and put away his phone, and he and Lydia smiled at each other, as Charlie reached for and held Lydia's hand, and they shared their smiles as they began walking.
Charlie : It's just you and me, Liddy.
Princess Lydia : Here we come, Oni Mask.
The two of them walked towards the temple, but what they didn't see was a weird shadow near the rocks behind them. . .

Next Time on The Masks of Garmadon : The Young Ninja try their best to fight off The Sons of Garmadon, while Charlie and Lydia journey into the temple to find the Oni Mask, and The Oni's Mercenaries decided it's now or never to stand up to their "Old Comrades" and nobody agrees with that more than Killow, while Kai and Nya decided to tell Liv who's The Quiet One, bringing her to shock and tears that her niece is responsible for the death of her Mother, Best Friend, and above all else her Twin Brother, but something in Montgomery and Alizah's Minds don't add up, and they decided to find out for themselves. . .
