Chapter 10 : The Stormed Princess
Last Time on The Masks of Garmadon : Lydia has a flashback of her and her brother, playing with their parents, with Lydia then falling asleep right next to her father, then looking at the picture of that night in her hands, before continuing to go through The Oni Temple with Charlie, before Ray spills the beans that Lydia is The Quiet One to Liv, and escapes the ship to find out, with Liv and Charlie realizing Lydia didn't know about The Mask of Agitation, yet she did, and she revealed her intentions, and Managed to escape from Primeval's Eye with The Amber's Grace, and more importantly, all six of the Masks, and with Four to Go, she knows exactly where to go after she's done at the palace, but the question still remains in Charlie's Mind, if Lydia didn't become The Mistress of Quiet until after the attack on The Royal Palace, then who was pulling the strings?

"I can't be mad at my little niece for her actions, her parents loved her, and she did the same, there's no reason she would flip, and I know. . . why Lydia did such a thing is her business, but I can't keep that one question beneath me, but Kai's anger is driving him Mad, with Lydia blaming him for her Family's Deaths, but without a single trace of them, with Lloyd the only one Confirmed Deceased, and Harumi and Misako are still Presumed Dead, something tells me that they're being forced to hide in their Princess' Shadows, and I need to find out why. . ."
"My name is Liv Harlow Garmadon. . . Daughter of Lord Garmadon, Master of Destruction, Mother of Alizah and Liam, Aunt of Lydia and Montgomery, and Twin Sister of Emperor Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon of Ninjago, and may my Grandfather, The First Spinjitzu Master's Heart and Soul of understanding, guide us all. . ."
While not Destructive, Liv could still feel part of the wrath going to Lydia's Mind, especially when it came to Montgomery, the only thing she fells bad for Lydia for, is that she's the younger twin. . .
Eric was the only one who didn't go with The Oni's Mercenaries, and he sent a message to Zach and Via and they went to Ignacia for The Formlings' Princess, and Alex's Flying Speeder, he then had Zach and Via send the ship to get the others, while Eric used Alex's Flying Speeder to make it back to Ninjago City. . .
Kai : There they are.
Kai pointed up and saw The Formlings' Princess coming down, and when it did everybody got on the ship.
Clayton : Well you two are a sight for sore eyes.
Via : Yea, heard about what happened here.
Kai : I for one, don't want to talk about it.
Liv : Yea, well for Charlie and Lydia's sake Kai, you're going to have to.
Nya : What were you even doing at Kryptarium Prison that led you to try and escape?
Kai : That's where I was being held by The Sons of Garmadon, and it was either escape or die, and knowing they had a sick plan on their hands, I had to put their bad guy down!
Liv : Well thanks to you, we got another bad girl on our hands, and It's my own niece, and another bravo, is that she has Montgomery and Alizah now too.
Kai : That and Charlie.
Liv : Screw him.
Kai : WHAT?!
Liv : Do not try shouting at Me, because while I never said I was agreeing, I'm not disagreeing with the Wrath that's driving it's way into Lydia's heart, because She, lost, EVERYTHING!
Kai : Then why are you yelling at Me?!
Nya : Because you won't listen!
Liv : I'm not Mad, or Disappointed in Lydia for her choices, while evil, doing what she still thinks is right, because all she wants now, is her father back, and spoiler alert, because Lloyd is part Oni, the Masks can bring him back too.
Kai : Yea, as a villain.
Liv : You don't know that, much like myself and Lloyd, one is more connected to the Dragon rather than the Oni, and the same case if for the four of them, Liam is closer to the Oni, Lydia is closer to the Dragon, while Montgomery and Alizah share the same balance.
Kai : Yea, and I don't care how many of those bad guys I have to go through, if putting Lydia down means ending this whole Mess, then I will do it.
Liv : Good Luck with that, you kill her, my kids and Montgomery will turn next.
Kai : Then Why don't we just kill them all, You Included?!
Liv let the anger rise inside of her, and she looked at Liam and nodded.
Liv : Sorry Nya, but you guys are on your own.
Nya : What?
Liv grabbed her son's hand, and they jumped off The Formlings' Princess, and Liv used her dragon and started flying towards Ninjago City.
Felicia : Way to go, Dad, this whole thing is your fault.
Kai : Excuse Me?
Maya : Kai, she's right.
Nya : I saw the speech that Lloyd gave to the people of Ninjago City, and while just simply standing in front of the whole crowd, I saw in her heart and her eyes that Lydia was very happy beside the others, especially since Montgomery was going back to the Palace, and thanks to your Gun at Kryptarium, you ruined everything for her.
Kai : Yea, well why not blame Nina and Eric for trying to defend a Fake Mask rather than trying to help Harumi and Lloyd.
Now it was Nya's turn to be Mad, as she forcefully punched Kai's jaw, and he fell to his knees.
Nya : You ever say, this is was My Son's fault again, and I will be the one to put you down.
Nya walked away from Kai and went to the Bridge, and Maya just stared at her son.
Maya : Kai, both our family, and Lydia's are going to completely fall apart unless one of you makes amends, and you know that, and you can be right and wrong at the exact same time, so let me ask you this, do you want to be right, or do you want to get your son back.
Maya walked away, and left Kai to sit down and think. . .
Primeval's Eye Camp, 6:12 p.m.
"I don't know why Lydia's doing all this, but I just hope she'll find it in her heart to tell me, and I can't let all of this, this whole... mess that my brother and I were in over two decades ago, all I've ever done, and all I've wish I've done, I can't let it make me hurt Lydia...

"Not when I promised Lloyd I would keep her safe."
There was snow all over the grounds of the Camp that the Sons of Garmadon had made in Primeval's Eye, and there were Campfires all over the place because of how Cold the jungle was because of the rain, that just stopped, and with all the snow still lying all over the place.
Liv was walking through the Jungle with Liam to try and find Montgomery and Alizah, and they found Lydia talking to Killow, and stayed hidden.
Killow : Well... maybe all of this is a sign Lydia, you and Montgomery should try, try to be the twins that Lloyd and Liv never could be.
Killow pat Lydia's back and got up and walked towards Ultraviolet and Marco, while Lydia walked towards the massive dome shaped tent that had seven sections on the outside of the circle but were still part of the tent that Liv was guessing where the tent's "Rooms" since she's seen that sort of tent before.
Lydia went inside while Liv and Liam were listening, and they heard her talking with Chopper Maroon.
The outside and inside of the tent was completely white and had Gray supports and accent colors, while the inside, the floor of the tent was Gray and the walls of the tent were White, but each member had their "Room" of the tent for their specific color
Killow was Orange.
Chopper Maroon was Dark Red and Maroon
Marco was Gray
Ultraviolet was Purple
Mr. E was Red
One space had Montgomery and Alizah unconscious on sleeping bags that were placed on top of cots, and they were Green and Magenta colored.
and Lydia's section was Forest Green
Lydia : Hey Chopper.
Chopper Maroon : Hey Stormy... you okay?
Lydia : Of course not... I want my Daddy.
Chopper Maroon : You shouldn't beat yourself up over the Royal Palace, Lydia, that's wasn't your fault.
Lydia : I know, but what I don't know is if I should have said what I did say to them, I was done worrying about what they would think of me and who I was after the five months I was on my own with my family, I wanted to make a decision based on how long I actually thought and felt, and through that decision I still did think about what I would be doing to those who were meant to be close to me, but I didn't care.
Liv felt like she couldn't believe what she was hearing, even if she knew Harumi felt this way before, but since Lydia was being the same person Harumi was, she wasn't completely surprised.
Lydia : I wasn't gonna let my heart or what's left of my broken family get in my way... I can't do any of this without my Daddy.
Chopper Maroon : I can respect that, and Killow and I are the ones that want to help you, so if you need it, just say it.
Lydia : Thank you.
Lydia hugged Chopper and he returned the hug and then left the tent to talk with Killow, and Lydia walked out of the tent just as Liv got off the tree she was watching from and shoved Lydia, and she fell, tripping over a rock as she did and scratched her arm, and it slightly started bleeding.
Lydia : Okay, that wasn't very nice.
Liv : There were other ways I could have hit you Lydia, I chose the one that wouldn't hurt the most.
Just as Liv stopped talking, Lydia stood up and tackled Liv, and threw her against the tree that she was on top of before and Liv quickly made a hand signal and told Liam to run and he did so.
Lydia kicked Liv's leg so she couldn't run, and Lydia had her arms pushing Liv into the tree.
Liv : You're making a mistake, Lydia!
Lydia : Tell me then... why?
Liv : Lydia, you're playing with a power that you can't control, not even I could stop my father from taking power that wasn't his.
Just then Lydia pushed harder against Liv and the tree was starting to hurt her back.
Lydia : Last I checked, I'm not trying in the slightest for Powers that aren't mine, and I don't care what you all will think of Me, or what my powers will do, because Creation, can Create anything... even new ways to Destroy, I wasn't one of the people to be born without something in their whole life to be afraid of, I've been scared of my powers, my family's history, even Myself!
Lydia : But I'm not going to look back in this to see what I could have done differently, when things will be different in the end from which they started, I don't want people to tell me what I should have done, and I don't, want, You... I want my Daddy!
Lydia threw Liv around the tree and she tripped on a rock, and stumbled as she fell and roll down the hillside, and when she went down a small drop, her head hit the ground first, and it knocked her out.
Just then, Montgomery woke up and so did Alizah and they saw that their hands weren't tied or handcuffed and they looked at each other and nodded.
The cousins shot up and saw what tent they were in and got out and decided to run.
Since Montgomery heard Lydia before he saw her, he got ready and quickly turned around and kicked Lydia's back, and she flipped over and hit the side of her head on a rock, and it started bleeding.
Lydia : Come on Montgomery... that hurt.
Montgomery : That was payback for on The Amber's Grace with Killow's Game of Truth or Wedgie.
Lydia winces at what Montgomery said to her, not to mention the cut he gave to her on the side of her head, with Golden Blood dripping down the left side of her face, and it was really surprising to Montgomery that his sister's blood was Golden.
Lydia used her Powers and Montgomery and Alizah ran into a wall that was made of Creation, and they fell back and saw Lydia standing over them, and she smiled and waved at them, before Montgomery kicked Lydia in between the stomach, and shoved her down and she fell and the wall disappeared and Montgomery was about to run just as Lydia yelled.
Lydia : Brother Please... Don't Leave Me!
Montgomery stopped and kept looking forward as Lydia kept talking.
Lydia : I need you!
Montgomery : For what?
Lydia : I don't want us to be in the same place Daddy and Aunt Liv were in over twenty years ago, don't do this, I don't wanna hurt you!
Montgomery : I'm not listening to that.
Lydia stood up and used her powers to form more walls, forming a square around them with her creative powers, and she blasted Alizah out and against a tree which knocked her out.
The twins circled each other around their little "arena" and with her green eyes lighting up, Lydia warned her brother.
Lydia : Montgomery, stop this before you'll do something that'll make me do what I'll regret, I can't fight you!
Montgomery : Somehow, I won't be able to believe that, I'm not gonna trust a Golden Liar.
Montgomery used his Powers and formed green orbs in his hands and fired them at his sister, and Lydia let the pain from what her brother said into her head, and she used her powers to form golden orbs in her hands, and she fought back.
Liv woke up, and was watching the twins fight from inside the square, and a few tears left her eyes from what she was seeing.
Liv : Lydia, I said I would keep you safe... what have Lloyd and I done to you?
She kept watching as she saw Lydia use both of her hands to fire a golden beam at Montgomery and he fired a green beam at Lydia, and they were walking closer to each other as they were, but Lydia saw the determined look on Montgomery's face, and it was worrying her.
Montgomery and Lydia were dangerously close to one another and he was trying harder with her powers, and Lydia's arms were shaking and she was breathing as she tried to fight against Montgomery's Powers, and he pulled out his Metal Baseball Bat and started fighting Lydia.
Lydia : Montgomery, Please!
Montgomery : Why did you do this Lydia?!
Lydia : I don't want to say, I can't live through what I did to Mommy and Daddy, don't make me remind myself!
Lydia and Montgomery fired their powers at each other, and Lydia slowly reached into the side of her overalls, and reached for the dagger was in the holster on her hip, and she hit it against Montgomery's Baseball Bat.
Montgomery : I thought you said you can't fight?
Lydia : I said I don't know how, I never said I wouldn't... and I don't want to hurt you.
Montgomery used his powers and blasted Lydia against the wall she formed with her powers, and she threw him back and he spoke.
Montgomery : If you said you don't want to hurt me, then why do this?
Lydia : Before this whole mess, you left me Brother, anytime you were needed you weren't there, all of this time Montgomery, and where were you were needed by your "Baby" Sister, where were you when I needed you... Where were You?!
Liv kept watching the twins fight each other, and it hurt her while doing so since it reminded her of when Lloyd tried escaping Primeval's Eye several times, which got on Harumi's Nerves at that time of course, but she kept watching Lloyd's Children anyway.
Montgomery let Lydia's words inside his heart, and the two kept clashing weapons with each other.
Lydia then jumped at Montgomery and tried to hit him from above, and he pushed her feet from above him and threw her back, and swung and hit her head with his bat, and she started bleeding even more, and she had a few tears leave her eyes when she was losing her blood, and Montgomery was worried since he hurt her like that.
The two charged and clashed their weapons and were pushing them together as Lydia spoke.
Lydia : Montgomery, I didn't want to do things this way, and I know you may never see me as your Baby Twin Sister again, but I want to tell you, I'm Sorry.
Montgomery looked at the tears in her eyes, and he listened to Lydia.
Lydia : I'm Sorry for everything I did, but I can't stop myself from what I'm doing, I need to do what I believe is right... if you only you could hear me out on why, and give me another chance?
Montgomery : Lydia... I don't get why you just said that, you are my Baby Twin Sister, and you always will be.
Lydia smiled, as she reached for the hilt of her dagger and she hit Montgomery in the stomach, just as she raised her hand and shot the beam at the barrier behind her brother, destroying it instantly and taking down the rest of the walls with it, before swinging the hilt at his forehead to knock him out.
Montgomery was laying down on the snow covered ground, and Lydia got her brother to his feet, and dragged him back into the Camp.
Killow then walked over to her and spoke.
Killow : I saw what happened Stormy, you okay?
Lydia : Yes, go get Alizah, she's by the tree, and put them in the Vengestone Cage with Charlie.
Liv then walked away with tears in her eyes, since she saw Lydia didn't want to do what she was doing, yet she thought it was the only way.

5 Minutes Later
.
Lydia changed her mind, and Montgomery and Alizah weren't put in the cage, they were put back in the tent they were in before, and they did wake up, but a sad look from Lydia had them go back to sleep, and Lydia was near the Campfire with the Sons of Garmadon Generals and The Oni's Mercenaries
Lydia also changed her clothes, and she gave her Civilian Outfit to Killow, and he figured to wait until they were done at Primeval's Eye, and if they would head to the palace next, he would leave her clothes there, since he knew she didn't want to be evil and rule Ninjago after all of this was done with.
Lydia still had her hair in a different style now, it was still White, but she washed out The gold dye and blood from the gash on the left side of her head, and her hair was now Mid-Length with a left-side parting as the hair on her left side was slightly shorter, and got longer going down around the back, and had a long strand of hair over Lydia's Right Shoulder, and the strand over her right shoulder was slightly longer than the hair at the back.
With the gold blood washed out, she dyed the same few strands of her hair Forest Green and Black. Lydia also had Dark Green Paint over her eyes like Harumi did her paint, and similar to how Morro possessed Lloyd, Lydia used black paint to make those marking around her eyes over the green paint, and had her lips full painted with Forest Green Lipstick, Lydia was wearing Forest Green Leather Boots that had Black Straps around her foot and her ankle and the boots went to about four inches above her knees, and was wearing thin-tight black leather pants, that actually instead of going up to her hips, they went up to her waist.
Lydia was also wearing a black shirt with a Dark Gold Skull on it with small paint blobs of Purple and White around it, Lydia was also wearing a black armored skirt, for more protection, along with a Black Spiked Leather Jacket with it unzipped, and Forest Green Biker Gloves and instead of just around her pants and the skirt, Lydia was wearing two spiky belts, with them both on top and wrapped around her jacket and her waist, keeping that part of the jacket like it was zipped, with the top half of the jacket unzipped, leaving Lydia's shirt visible
Lydia also had a Dark Green sash going over her right shoulder, and it was attached to the holster of her left hip that had her Silver Dagger, and the sash had spikes on it, and Lydia had a Black Chronosteel Chain going over both her Left and Right shoulders, with the middle of it on her chest having a picture of her face in the design of the Sons of Garmadon insignia, and what was attached to the back of Lydia's chain was The Mask of Agitation.
Killow could understand that Lydia was upset about what she was doing, and while he didn't want to question Lydia... he, Chopper, and Marco still wanted to help her with what's going on.
Lydia had The Sons of Garmadon call her The Stormed Princess, while permitting her favorites of the gang to call her Stormy.
Chopper Maroon : You alright Stormy?
Lydia : No, I don't want to fight or lose anymore of my Family while I'm doing this, I know the reason most of you are in the Sons of Garmadon was because many of you don't really have many families left, making The Sons of Garmadon your family, but I don't know what to do with myself.
Ultraviolet : Rule Ninjago beside your dear Grampy, that would give you the pleasure that you won't need anyone in your life again.
Lydia : I need my Daddy again, that's why I'm doing this, we bring back my Grampa, my Daddy comes back with him, and I don't see your bitterness against my Aunt and Mommy, considering they were leading you once
Ultraviolet : And defeating us once, you need to remember them fighting back was one of their biggest mistakes.
Lydia : If they fight back, and realize there's nothing to learn, once or twice, then it wasn't a mistake at all, most say that's what Wisdom truly is, it's True Wisdom to not make the same mistake twice, but what if you had already learned so much before, you didn't even make that mistake once, that is all there is to Wisdom, Ultraviolet.
Killow, Chopper Maroon, and Marco liked what Lydia said and smiled at her, and she smiled back.
Lydia : We should probably pack up and head back to Ninjago City... Mr. E, did you ever find out the weird source of that beacon that came from Fort Lexington a few days ago?
Mr. E shook his head, and Lydia sighed.
Lydia : Okay then, Marco, any sign of the last four Oni Masks?
Marco : Not yet, but influence is reaching far and wide for us to find out, we believe your Uncle Brenden can tell us more about their whereabouts, but we're trying to locate him now, since we last heard we was with your cousin Via searching for Queen Akita.
Lydia : Okay, try to find him, and soon, especially since I need The Mask of Greed for my Daddy, and Mask of Brutality for my Aunt Akita.
Killow : We'll make those masks our priority.
Lydia : Good, Lizard?
Lydia still called Eric, Alex, Siddie, and Richard by their Code Names ( Lizard, Arctic, Mortar, and Ghost ) but she was glad that her cousins and a few of her friends wanted to help her.
Lizard : Focusing on The Mask of Brutality to help Arctic, since we already have The Mask of Fear.
Ghost : I'm focusing on Ferocity, we need that to bring back my Dad, and it can help give me something even stronger than the former ghostly features my father donned.
Mortar : I need to find The Mask of Death.
Arctic : And Lizard's helping me find The Mask of Brutality, but if we find my Daddy, he can tell us where the last four masks are.
Lydia : Good, then let's get too it.
Lydia stood up and had The Campfire's Light make the area around her lit enough for everybody in the camp to see her, and she put her hands on her hips as she mischievously smiled and had everybody listen.
Lydia : Sons of Garmadon, we now have six of The Oni Masks.
The Sons of Garmadon payed attention and Lydia then one by one mentioned them and each time she did, one of the Sons of Garmadon would wear the mask and use it.
Lydia : Vengeance!
Mr. E used the mask and used his Swords to cut two trees down and the others cheered.
Lydia : Deception!
Killow levitated the trees Mr. E had cut and threw them off into the distance.
Lydia : Hatred!
Ultraviolet used the Mask and did her "War Cry" while using The Mask of Hatred and Lydia moved on.
Lydia : Violence!
Chopper Maroon used the Mask, and had two red swords appear in his hand as Clouds formed over.
Lydia : Take it off, before you start a Blood Rain.
Chopper took off the mask, and sat back down.
Lydia : Fear!
Alex then put the Mask on, and let out a heart-wrenching scream and after that, she sat back down with the Mask.
Lydia : Last but not least... Agitation.
Lydia laughed as she put the Mask of Agitation on, and she laughed with the mask on, as her body gave her, her Evil Taste of Invincibility with Golden Veins running through the stone.
Lydia : We only have four to go, and we will give Ninjago the ruler it truly deserves, and bring the former Red Ninja, and all the madness he has brought Ninjago... to our will!
Lydia took off the mask and smiled as she heard the others cheer.
The Sons of Garmadon also had Lydia's Throne, from The Royal Palace, since it wasn't destroyed in the Palace surprisingly, and she spoke.
Lydia : Now I believe we have a Ceremony to attend to.
The Bikers then lifted the "platform" that was holding Lydia's Throne ( Similar to how The Munce carried Nya in Season 13, only it was a few wooden poles that had Forest Green Silk going down them, and it was a Hardwood Platform that Lydia's throne was on, and her throne was the same as Harumi's when she was the Princess )
Marco then quickly stood next to Lydia and spoke.
Marco : My Father once told me that if you were to lose everyone you thought to be family, and one day get it all back, you could see the whole world pass by, You aren't as alone as you believe yourself to be Lydia, regardless of what you've done... there will always be great people beside you.
Lydia : Thank you, Marco.
Lydia had her hands on her hips as she jumped up and landed on her throne, and she spoke as they started carrying her throne with her on it.
Lydia : Pack up the Camp.

Royal Palace of Ninjago, 9:17 p.m.
The last thing any Mother would want is to see their child in danger, but for somebody like Liv, the same thing applies to her Niece and Nephew, despite the fact that Liv has accepted it that her entire family will never be out of harms way, she still doesn't like it, especially when it comes to Liam, Alizah, Montgomery, and Lydia.
Liv was sneaking into The Royal Palace of Secrets, through the Palace Gardens, and she made it to the roof and was gonna guess Montgomery and Alizah were in the same place that Harumi had held Lloyd before, but she didn't know whether to do that or check on Lydia since she figured her niece would be in her room, even though Lydia is now technically her enemy because of what she said at The Oni Temple and Primeval's Eye, she promised Lloyd to keep Lydia safe, and that promise wouldn't change.
Then there was Misako, Lydia's Grandmother and Daughter In-Law of The First Spinjitzu Master, who could never avoid harms way, same as her children and grandchildren, but staying in harms way is something Misako doesn't like to talk about.
She banged against the cell she was in, but knew it wasn't any use, and laid down on the prison excuse for a bed, and thought about what her family was doing.
The Sons of Garmadon forced her to watch the "Breaking News" a few days ago, and was crying for a long time at hearing that Lloyd was confirmed dead, while she had no clue what happened to Harumi and Hutchins after The Royal Palace Raid.
Misako was fiddling with her gray hair, thinking about the others.
She knew Liv was okay since she had seen the news talk about how "Liv Harlow Garmadon saved The Emerald Prince of Ninjago" and she then knew that Liv and Montgomery were safe, and on the news she also saw two ninja who were wearing Black and Purple, and also Fuchsia and Magenta colored Ninja Suits, meaning Liam and Alizah were okay.
But Misako had no clue about Lydia, and it worried her, over the past five months the two had grown so close to each other, as Lydia did with everybody in her family, apart from Garmadon and Montgomery, but her own twin was what worried her, if Lydia and Montgomery would go through the same that Lloyd and Liv did, but that's something, Misako, Lloyd, Harumi, and Liv never want to talk about.
Misako had also left the Royal Palace for long periods of time before, same way she's done with abandoning Lloyd, but she never saw it as abandoning with Lydia, since she wasn't one of Lydia's Parents, and two was that she never left for that long with Lydia, but for how young she is, whenever Misako would come back, Lydia would always jump into her arms, because she would always miss her so much, which goes to show how big Lydia's Heart is, but at the same time she's careful of who she lets into it.
Misako has always liked Lydia's Heart, because her heart and the people she lets into it really defines who she is, but at the same time, her heart also winces and gets really hurt for what could be the smallest but at the same time biggest pains when the people closest to her in her heart, are the ones that hurt her, and Lydia's always been The Happiest Girl in Ninjago, and the Most Hurt Girl in Ninjago at the same time, and it's make Misako curious... without Lloyd, what kind of little girl is Lydia being now?
Misako also had thoughts on her mind over the kind of little girl Lydia was over the past six months, she was the happiest when Montgomery came home, but before... she was the most hurt after Lloyd and Liv's Birthday ( December 30th ) and it was perhaps the worst day of Lloyd's Life and Lydia's Life at the same time, and she had wondered, did Lydia tell her brother? did Lloyd ever forgive Lydia? or did Lydia feel like she had to say sorry to Lloyd?
Misako had tons of questions, but for now, she didn't have a choice but to leave them unanswered.
Liv was thinking hard about all the words that came from Lydia, and Liv couldn't believe she once said words like that her brother and her friends when she was younger, especially Lloyd and Jay.
There was so much that Lydia had said that helped Liv know that Lydia was really scared of herself, and so far she had no idea and didn't do anything to help her, and she promised she would keep Lydia safe, but she waited until it was too late to remember what she had promised Lloyd, right before. . .
Right before he died. . .
"I don't want us to in the same place my Daddy was in so long ago"
"I am done worrying about what you all will think of Me, or what my powers will do, because Creation, can Create anything... even new ways to Destroy."
"I wasn't one of the people to be born without something in their whole life to be afraid of, I've been scared of my powers, my family's history, even Myself!"
"I don't want people to tell me what I should have done, and I don't, want, You..."
"I don't want us to be in the same place Daddy and Aunt Liv were in over twenty years ago, don't do this, I don't wanna hurt you!"
"Before this whole mess, you left me Brother, anytime you were needed you weren't there, all of this time Montgomery, and where were you were needed by your "Baby" Sister, where were you when I needed you... Where were You?!"
Liv felt like those last few words are what Lydia could say that to anybody she needed in her life, and they kept repeating in her head.
"Where were you when I needed you... Where were You?!"
Liv couldn't get the thoughts of what Lydia said out of her mind, since she's been thinking hard on those words.
Liv had also remembered what some of the Sons of Garmadon said to Lydia, and she didn't think they could actually help her or be a good person despite the side she was on.
"Well... maybe all of this is a sign Lydia, you and Montgomery should try, try to be the twins that Lloyd and Liv never could be."
"I can respect that, and Killow and I are the ones that want to help you, so if you need it, just say it."
"My Father once told me that if you were to lose everyone you thought to be family, and one day get it all back, you could see the whole world pass by, You aren't as alone as you believe yourself to be Lydia, regardless of what you've done... there will always be great people beside you."
Montgomery and Alizah were now in the Palace, but where in the palace they didn't exactly know, mainly since Alizah didn't live in the Palace, and Montgomery was away the past year.
The Oni's Mercenaries, and The Sons of Garmadon were at the Ruins of the Royal Palace, preparing for the Ceremony, until Garmadon was brought back, without Harumi, Killow was in charge, because not only was he the Leading General, he was the first member of the whole gang. . . at the same time, Lydia was his leader, and he could understand greatly about how she felt, and despite not wanting to question her, he still wanted to help.
Killow trusted that Alizah and Montgomery wouldn't cause any trouble, as they weren't wearing Vengestone Cuffs, while Charlie was, and he was leading Alizah and Montgomery to a room in the palace, and it looked familiar.
Chopper Maroon and Marco were in front of Montgomery and Alizah and were talking to each other as they walked.
Marco : You really think this'll work out for us in the end?
Chopper Maroon : It has too... because Lydia won't know what to do with herself if it doesn't.
Both sides of the door were pushed open, and they saw it was the remains of Lydia's Bedroom.
Lydia was looking her mirror brushing her long white hair, and Montgomery knew she did that either to Calm herself, or when she was thinking.
One of the "Thugs" knocked on the door and got Lydia's attention
Chopper Maroon : Hey, Stormy.
Lydia turned around at hearing one of the bikers say her name, and she saw Chopper Maroon and Marco with Alizah and Montgomery.
Marco : We brought them to you, The Big Man figured you would want 'em in here.
Lydia nodded, and sent her friends away, and had Alizah and Montgomery enter the room.
Lydia was also glad they didn't use the Princess part of her name, because she knew for now, she wasn't the Princess.
While Lydia's Room had a huge gaping hole where the balcony was, they still liked the view of the Starry Night in Ninjago City, and what was left was Lydia's Bed, her Mirror, her desk with her textbooks and notes from when Killow was helping her learn about the Sons of Garmadon, and also from the stories Lloyd and Harumi told her., there were four decent sized armchairs that could actually spin, and they were different colors ( Gold, Green, Magenta, and Purple ) and surprisingly, there was a TV in there, which Montgomery and Alizah were guessing Lydia put in her room, and the bulletin board on her wall that had pictures of her moments with Lloyd, Harumi, and above all else, her twin brother... Montgomery.
Lydia : You two can sit down, if you want.
Alizah and Montgomery sit in their chairs, and they watched Lydia brush her hair, but Montgomery saw a tear slip down Lydia's face.
Montgomery : Lydia. . . for what it's worth, I want to say I'm not Mad at you.
Lydia : You're not the two I'm scared of...
Alizah : Then who?
Lydia : One is Kai, hearing him say at Primeval's Eye that he would put me down as well.
Montgomery : The other?
Lydia shook her head and let tears form in her eyes.
Lydia : Myself. . . Charlie and Kai both called me a Monster, and with powers that could literally Create new Destructive ways to end them, and with an Oni Mask that leans closer to the blood of the Dragon, enhancing my powers, where can I go, and feel the peace and compassion I once had inside of Me.
Montgomery : Lydia, I also want to know-
Lydia : Why I'm working with them?
Montgomery sighed and bit his lip before he kept talking.
Montgomery : Well our Father was right, that twin telepathy is a thing.
Lydia finished brushing her hair, and walked over and slammed her brush against her desk, she was tired of answering Charlie and Montgomery's Questions, regardless if they were relevant to the current matter, but she was glad Alizah was keeping her mouth shut.
Lydia : Brother, for the final time, I'm going to tell you that I don't regret my decision.
Montgomery : I'm not saying you should.
Lydia : What?
Montgomery : You heard me, you shouldn't regret this choice, you were hurt, and that's something I can't be mad at you for.
Lydia : Well thanks for that, but Charlie and Kai are a whole other matter. . . I'm working with them because not only are they bringing back our Grandfather, but those Masks can bring back our father, and may I remind you, that it hasn't even been an entire week, and I lost everything, and you Montgomery, you haven't been around a whole lot to begin with, you may have accepted that they're gone, but I haven't. . . My home, my grandparents, my mother, and above all else my Daddy, and for any of them, I never got to say Goodbye. . . and even if this isn't about saying Goodbye, I need to tell him that I'm sorry!
Montgomery then saw Lydia wasn't doing this because she had "Evil Ways" and she wanted people to suffer, she just wanted her father back, and maybe she did want Kai to suffer for killing her Grandfather, because Garmadon did show signs of actual love in his heart from seeing Lydia, but that was beside the point, Lydia only wanted this to get their father back... and while he hasn't been a huge part of his sister's life, he felt like he could understand, but. . . why Lydia needed to say sorry to Lloyd, was something Montgomery didn't have a clue for.
Lydia : Sorry, I didn't meant to yell.
Montgomery : Lydia, don't apologize to me for something that doesn't matter, and say sorry for what does.
Lydia : I... I can't Montgomery, I need to make sure that Daddy knows I don't hate him, and that I'm sorry for what I did.
Alizah : But what did you do, is the question.
Lydia tried to leave, but Montgomery grabbed his little twin sister's hand, and looked in her eyes.
Montgomery : Liddy, please... I need you tell me why apologizing to Dad is important, so I can forgive you, Tell me.
Lydia had tears in her eyes, and she shook her head.
Lydia : I can't tell you Montgomery, I hurt you.
Montgomery : And I left, I hurt you more, and I hurt you first, I deserved what you did at Primeval's Eye, just tell me Little Sis, I need to know.
Alizah and Montgomery looked at Lydia with pleading eyes, and was about to say no, as she shook her head, and bit her lip with tears leaving her eyes, and she sat on her bed, with Alizah and Montgomery sitting in their chairs.
Lydia : Marco!
Marco came towards the door and saw Lydia.
Marco : Yes?
Lydia : Get Charlie in here.
Marco : On It.
Marco left the room and got Charlie and came back with him about 4 Minutes Later. . .
Marco : Got him.
Charlie : What do you want, "Stormy"?
Lydia : For you to bite your own tongue first off, and second, my brother and cousin are going to make sure you sit and shut your trap while I give you my motive.
Charlie : Well that sounds fun.
Montgomery : Charlie, that's not helping.
Charlie : Neither is your little sister-
Montgomery : She's going to tell us why she's doing this, and you know you want the reason why, so stop talking and let her explain. . .
Charlie heavily sighed and he sat in the chair in between Alizah and Montgomery, and they looked at her as she was about to start talking.
Lydia : This is what happened. . .
December 30th, 2044. . .
Lloyd and Liv's Birthday. . .
"It was last year, on December 30th, it was my Aunt and my Father's Birthday, and... I'm just going to say that I gave him the worst gift possible, to where it wasn't even a gift. . . when I was still lush, and wore green.
Lloyd was with Harumi, Liv, Misako, and Lydia in Ninjago City. . .
The five of them were walking down the streets of the city when they saw an explosion coming from the far side of the streets near Borg Tower.
Empress Harumi : What the heck was that?!
Liv : I have no clue.
Just then a huge truck appeared and it was firing lasers and driving at high speeds.
Lloyd : It's The Mechanic and Ronin!
Liv : How did they escape, again?!
Misako : We need to leave
Lloyd : Lydia, come on!
Lloyd grabbed Lydia and carried her in his arms, as they tried to get away from The Mechanic's Truck but Lloyd was the one they were after. . .
Mechanic : Get the Emperor!
They started firing lasers, and Lloyd threw Lydia to keep her from getting hit, and she landed in the snow, she stood up and ran around the opposite side of the truck.
Empress Harumi : Lydia, What are you Doing?!
Liv tried to use her powers on the trucks, but the lasers kept firing at her. . .
Lydia fired up her powers, and shot a beam of green energy at the truck causing it to overheat, but it would mean the truck would explode, Ronin and The Mechanic then stood on top of the truck and they began firing at her.
Lloyd : No!
Lloyd ran towards the truck and tried to stop them. . .
But at the same time, the second Lydia saw Lloyd on top of the truck, she got an evil look on her face...
Her powers then turned Gold, and it seemed like the truck was starting to implode, Lydia sent her arms up, and the truck went up. . .
and the truck exploded and even sent a blast into the side of a building, The Mechanic and Ronin got injured and were sent back to prison, but sadly. . . Lloyd was hurt as well. . .
Lydia covered her mouth as soon as the truck exploded, and when she looked down, Lloyd was unconscious in the middle of the street. . .
Liv : Lydia!
Misako : What did you do?!
"I was left in Pain and Shock, that I gravely injured my Father."
"What does that have to do with you saying Sorry to him"
"I'm getting there, Charlie."
Lydia then talked about what happened the day next, and she was walking in the halls of the Palace, wearing her civilian clothes, but Harumi and Misako weren't happy.
Empress Harumi : Lydia, what were you thinking?!
Princess Lydia : It was an accident!
Misako : Well from the look on your face when you were using your powers to crush that truck with your bare hands, it didn't seem like it.
Princess Lydia : Are you calling me a liar?!
Misako : I'm saying maybe while not Destructive, there may not be many differences between you and your Grandfather, if you resorted to crushing something ten times your size, with your own hands, and you only hurt more in the process, and you even hurt your Father, and don't say you didn't, when you gave him a Fourth-degree burn, you're lucky he still even has his arm!
Empress Harumi : Not only that Lydia, but your powers turned Gold, and were twice as powerful when you did that, which is why we all told you to stop using your powers!
Lydia shook her head and tried to walk away but just as Harumi and Misako stopped, Lloyd came out of the Throne Room.
Lloyd : Lydia!
Lydia sighed as she turned around and faced her father, and Lloyd wasn't happy, and neither were Harumi and Misako.
Princess Lydia : Wha-What?
Lloyd : I really hope you are happy, after using something I specifically told you not to do.
Princess Lydia : I told you, I didn't mean for this to happen!
Lloyd : Well from the look on your face, to the fact you made that truck literally explode, it didn't seem like you were doing that as a prank, which may I remind you, was my birthday and that is a terrible time for pranks, so let me get this clear, I told you to stay back and you decided to sneak around the truck, I said not to use your powers, you did anyway, and you literally made that truck explode, and Ronin and The Mechanic literally got out almost completely unscathed.
Princess Lydia : I wasn't trying to hurt anybody!
Lloyd : Really, especially if you're going to have those evil looks, and literally do something I said not to, this is exactly why I never wanted you to see your Grandfather.
Princess Lydia : You think he had me do this, you're Mad!
Lloyd : Of Course I'm Mad, you gravely injured me yesterday, and didn't listen to what I said, and you not only did you harm me, Fourteen others were injured by your Golden Truck Explosion, maybe there isn't a major difference between you and your Grandfather.
Princess Lydia : Well if you want to keep saying that to the Granddaughter of Garmadon, then go ahead, If you think I'm exactly like you, and Nothing but a Major Disappointment!
Lloyd stepped back for a second after hearing his daughter say that, and tears formed in his eyes as he walked away, and so did Harumi and Misako. . .
Now. . .
Lydia : That was the worst day of my Life, and even worse for my Daddy, I hurt him to where they almost had to remove his arm. . . and what I said the next day, didn't make his arm, but definitely made his heart worse, I hurt several people that day, and not only blamed my Father, but called him out for it, telling him it wasn't my fault, but it was somebody else's. . . I felt that I ripped his heart out and broke out, he didn't deserve any of it, his pain, his shock, his injury, my resent to him and my mother, my anger, my agitation, and the one I thought he would never see me as his daughter again. . . my hate. . .
Lydia pulled away from the three of them and started wiping tears out of her eyes. . .
Liv : Everything makes sense.
Liv was on top of the palace, looking through the hole in the roof to hear what they were saying, and she heard everything Lydia said.
Montgomery couldn't be mad at his twin sister anymore, knowing he wasn't even there for her, when this happened. . .
Just then there was a knock at the door.
Chopper Maroon : Stormy.
Lydia : Yes?
Chopper Maroon : The Oni's Mercenaries require your presence for a minute.
Lydia : Okay.
Chopper Maroon : Lydia will return.
Lydia : Brother, don't leave me, please.
Montgomery : I'm not going anywhere little sis.
Lydia gave a sad smile to her brother and then walked away, glad that even though he wasn't there then, he's not Mad, and is still wanting to stay beside her now.
For Charlie. . . he sighed, for him hearing Lydia's name is enough to change his mood, She used to give him the strangest butterflies for the short time she liked him before she lost her home, her name, and even her kiss, made his heart melt, her smile changed his brain, making him want to do anything keep her smile on her face, and her singing and her laugh sounded elegant to him, and it made him want to listen to and stand beside her all day.
But Charlie gets filled with nothing but anger with hearing Lydia's name after hearing her words at The Oni Temple, wanting to look away from her smile, and it sounded like a falling chandelier whenever she laughed, he didn't see a single bit of joy inside her name, nothing to her smile, and no music or voice in her laugh or her singing.
Every bit of that, made him want to knock himself out, because he can't admit it that he still loved her.
Alizah : I don't know about you guys, but I can't be mad at her.
Montgomery : Neither can I, I wasn't there for my little sister when I should have.
Charlie : Well don't ask Me.
Montgomery : Charlie your love for her was, and still is obvious, you can't keep that beneath you.
Charlie : And I never tried too, yet this is how my affections get repaid, it's nonsense.
Just then, there was another knock at the door.
Killow : Stormy's Brother, and Cousin.
Montgomery : Yes?
Alizah : What?
Killow : I need you two to come with me to The Stormed Princess.
the two of them just shrugged and followed Killow, while several bikers stood inside and around Lydia's Room to make sure Charlie wouldn't do anything stupid.
3 Minutes Later. . .
Lydia was near the top of the Royal Palace, which wasn't intact, but it was rebuilt to keep everything safe from Rain or Snow.
The Sons of Garmadon really just made the top of the palace into their own "War Room", meaning they had more plans once Garmadon was brought back, though Killow understood Lydia wanted nothing to do with her Grandfather, she just wanted her Parents, though Ultraviolet and Mr. E would go mad if The Stormed Princess revealed her true intentions, and Lydia knew if she wanted her father back, she didn't have any choices besides resurrecting Garmadon first.
Eric : You ready for this Lydia?
Lydia : I suppose, though while I'm trying to bring back my Father, he'll possibly hate me even more when he sees I had to bring back my Grandfather to do it.
Person : That may be, but you aren't doing this alone.
Lydia turned around, and saw her brother, her cousins, and Liv.
Liv immediately kneeled down and pulled her niece into a tight embrace, and Lydia returned the hug, and let tears soak her aunt's shoulder.
Liv : I'm sorry Lydia, if you told me this before, I would never have said those words to you at the Temple or the Camp.
Lydia : You're not Mad?
Liv : No, I deserved what you said and did to Me, I should have been staying beside you to help you and I didn't, and it's going to stop now, because I'm going to help you.
Liam : Me too.
Montgomery : So am I.
Alizah : If Lloyd's the only thing left you need Lydia, then we'll help you get him back.
Tears formed in Lydia's eyes as she hugged what was left of her family, and for the first time in what seemed like ages, she genuinely smiled.
Lydia : Aunt Liv... I-
Liv : Yea, Lydia?
It took a moment for Lydia to speak, but she felt a huge weight come off her shoulders after hearing Liv's Response.
Lydia : I love you.
Liv : I love you too.
The two hugged each other for a minute, and Lydia then got her aunt's attention.
Lydia : Here, Aunt Liv.
Lydia reached under one of the tables, and threw Liv her old gi from when she was with the Sons of Garmadon, and she used spinjitzu and was wearing it again.
Liv : That's more like it, though I didn't think I would wear this thing again.
Montgomery was already in the mood, since he was wearing dark brown pants, and a black leather jacket with a dark green dragon on the back of it, and black shoes
Alizah was wearing a Dark Purple raincoat with black painted sleeves, and she had her face mask wrapped around her neck so she could use it if she had too and replaced the rain hood of her raincoat with her ninja hood, and was wearing black pants, and Magenta colored shoes.
Liam was wearing a Purple shirt, black leather jacket, black pants, bright purple shoes, and black gloves.
Lydia : Can you four leave me for a bit?
Liv then reached into her pocket and gave Lydia her phone.
Liv : I found it in the wreckage and it was perfectly fine, so just let me know if you need me, Sweetheart.
Lydia : I will.
Liv kneeled down and kissed her niece's cheek, and left with the others.
Liv : I will say, for a dark bad girl, you still have style Lydia.
Lydia Smiled mischievously at her aunt, and Liv actually smiled back.
Just then, Liv saw Lydia's Sons of Garmadon Clothes, and she thought they made her look a lot better than Harumi.
Lydia : Your gi is Cool.
Liv : So is your sense of style when it comes to The Sons of Garmadon.
Lydia : Really, I mean my brother and his friends all-
Liv : Stop that Lydia, I think you actually look beautiful this way, and unlike Felicia, Nina, or Montgomery and their bright colors.
Montgomery : Hello, standing right here.
Liv : I know.
Lydia snorted at hearing her aunt mess with her brother and Montgomery playfully shook his head.
Charlie, Liam, Alizah, Eric, Alex, and Richard's suits were all Black or Charcoal, or Gunmetal Gray, meaning they actually knew how to stay out of sight, the others didn't.
Lydia spun around twice, and put her hands on her hips and mischievously smiled at her aunt, and Liv smiled back.
Lydia smiled that her Aunt, Brother, and her Cousins still cared, now the only one left was Charlie.
Eric : So, we already still have people to gain back from those Oni Masks.
Princess Alex : My Mommy.
Eric : My Dad.
Richard : My Father.
Siddie : And my Daddy.
Lydia : Like I said, each is bonded directly to a Mask, but three of the Masks we need are still missing.
Killow : Which?
Lydia : Ferocity, Brutality, and Death, without those Masks we can only bring back Jay.
Eric : Which is The Mask of Fear?
Lydia : Yes.
Killow : So what do we do then?
Lydia : Track those Masks down, and-
Liv : Alex, we got a problem down here!
The Oni's Mercenaries and Lydia then went down the stairs, and went into the room Liv was in, and they saw somebody on the table they didn't expect.
Princess Alex : Daddy. . .
Liv : Your brother brought him here a few minutes ago, but he hasn't woken up.
Eric : I just checked his pulse, he's okay, but what are we supposed to.
Alizah : Let me do it.
Alizah fired up her powers and there was some sort of bright orange light coming out of her hands.
Alizah : Mommy.
Liv : On it.
Liv grabbed Brenden's body and threw it near the door, and Alizah used her powers and it created a huge blastwave in the form of a Quasar.
the huge flash woke Brenden up and he pulled out his Axe until he saw who it was. . .
Brenden : Oh, it's you guys. . .
5 Minutes Later. . .
Kai was using a drone to try and see what was going on inside the Palace, he saw Brenden in there drinking a bottle of water, and he was talking to Liv, Montgomery, Alizah, Eric, Siddie, Richard, and Alex.
Montgomery : Oh Enough!
Richard : Alizah started it.
Montgomery : We need to get the Oni Masks before the others, which means we need to find out where they're going next.
Brenden : Industries.
Alizah : Why would they be going in the streets?
Eric : No wait, Borg Industries, it's that huge tower in the middle of Ninjago City, and we've been there before, it's sucked at times.
Brenden : Say that to Cyrus Borg himself.
Liv : Brenden, why would they be going there?
Brenden : Because for almost three years now, that's where they've kept The Mask of Ferocity.
Richard : If Borg has The Mask of Ferocity then it's not safe, only an idiot would give that man an Oni Mask.
Brenden : Tell that to the Nindroids.
Liv : But Brenden, how do you know they aren't going for one of the other Masks?
Brenden : There are ten Masks out there. . . The Sons of Garmadon as you know already have The Masks of Vengeance and Deception because they stole them almost a week ago when they did their heist at Borg Tower and decimated The Royal Palace, Ronin stole The Mask of Violence from me when he boarded my ship and captured my Son.
Princess Alex : What?!
Brenden : The Mask of Fear was stolen by Eric Walker at the Museum of Ninjago History months ago, so that wasn't a problem now was it?
Eric : Nope.
Brenden : There you go, The Masks of Hatred and Agitation were taken from The Oni Temple by Lydia.
Lydia : Yep.
Brenden : The Masks of Greed and Brutality are safe in Shintaro, with Queen Vania and Prince Morgan.
Alizah : Vania?
Brenden : My Best Friend, she's The Queen and Ruler of Shintaro, and Morgan is her son.
Liv : Okay.
Brenden : As for The Mask of Death nobody's ever seen that Mask, and don't know where in Ninjago it is, Meaning the Ninja can't get it, therefore they'll be heading to Borg Tower, hence they'll be getting The Mask of Ferocity, you're welcome.
Lydia : Then we need to head to Borg Tower and get that Mask.
Brenden : Alex and I... We'll head to Shintaro, and get The Mask of Brutality.
Liv : What about the rest of us guys, we'll meet back here, and keep Charlie aboard The Jade Empress in the meantime, but what'll we do about the Masks?
Richard : Well I can get word to Mr. E and Ultraviolet and we can head to get the Mask of Ferocity from Borg Tower.
Siddie : I'll head with Brenden, Vania was a good friend on my Daddy's, and if she has the Masks, then I know if it comes down to my Daddy's sake, she'll give it up.
Lydia : I'm going with my Uncle as well, I'm not taking any chances of staying here in the city with Kai bound to come back, and The Mask of Greed is what we need to bring my Daddy back, so that's the one I'm getting.
Montgomery : I'm going with my sister.
Liv : Then I'm coming too, I promised your father I would watch you two, that promise won't change.
Liam : Alizah and I will stay in the City and help Richard get that Mask.
Liv : Okay, just be careful you two.
Killow : But for Cole we need The Mask of Death, and the only thing that could locate it is-
Everybody then put their eyes on Eric, because he's the one who hid The Oni's Manuscript.
Liv : Where's that book, Eric?
Eric : I'm not telling you.
Liv : Why not?
Eric : If I told you, then you'd know too.
Liv : Well if the Mask of Death's Location is so important, shouldn't we?
Eric : Only if you'd want to die, I don't know The Mask of Death's location, but I know where The Oni's Maps are, and if I revealed that, the Ninja would eventually find out, and they would be able to get that Mask first, I'll tell you about that mask, but not until we have the rest of them.
Liv : Fair enough.
Lydia : Okay, everybody has their locations, let's Go.
Killow : I'll grab Charlie and we'll be out of here.

Next Time on The Masks of Garmadon : The Masks of Garmadon are formed, with all of Lord Garmadon's Grandchildren making a group of their own, fighting alongside Harumi and Liv's Ex-Comrades to bring back Lord Garmadon, and more importantly, Lloyd, Harumi, Morro, Jay, Queen Akita, and Cole, but Kai's anger to Lydia still holding Charlie captive is driving him Mad, as the Ninja head off to Shintaro with The Formlings' Princess in attempt to get the Masks of Greed and Brutality before Lydia does, and for an attempt to save Charlie, while Richard, Liam, and Alizah commit an assault on Borg Tower to steal The Mask of Ferocity to Resurrect Morro ( again ) with a surprising visitor beneath the Tower, but who's going to come out on top?
