Lucifer and Chloe began to head into the room. Before going in to interrogate the first suspect, Chloe puts her hand up to Lucifer's chest to stop him. She then says, "We need this nice and clean. So I'll need your little mojo this time."
Lucifer smiles at Chloe with love and remarks, "Detective, I thought you never cared! Finally, my charm gets to you!"
He laughs as Chloe takes her hand off to say while she shakes her head, "No, Lucifer. No! I don't feel for you in that way. Now let's get started."
She rushes off while Lucifer mutters happily out loud, "She does like me."
Lucifer walks in to find that a man in a light blue dress shirt and gray dress pants with black shoes is sitting in front of Chloe as she sits on the other side. Lucifer stands by the wall on Chloe's side to view the interrogation. The man has brown hair and looks quite rich, but not enough to notice. Chloe gets to the point, "Dr. Hayfield, I brought you in here to know when and where you were at the time between one to two am."
"If you are asking what I was doing the time of a customer from the clinic's murder, I need some detail... and a lawyer." Dr. Hayfield says almost in panic, "Also I already told you that Ms. Kilna had no friends nor enemies who were after her last night."
"Thank you, but I need more detail on your whereabouts." Chloe says coldly. "Now where were you at the time of Gertrude Kilna's murder?"
Lucifer steps in before the veterinarian could answer. He looks deep into the man's eyes and gives a devillish grin as he asks, "You seem like a lovely man, Dr. Hayfield. What was it you truly desired?"
Dr. Hayfield sat there sweating as he looks into Lucifer's eyes. He stammers, "I-I... I wanted to see my wife and kids. I didn't get to see them until six am since work drove me through the rails all night." He looks at Chloe as he cries, "I didn't kill Gertrude, I swear!"
Lucifer steps away and exclaims, "Well that was a waste of time."
Chloe says to Dr. Hayfield who had tears streaming from his face, "Thank you for your time."
She sits as the poor man goes out of the room. Then the next suspect comes in. This time is a middle aged woman with red hair and wearing a floral dark blouse along with tan pants.
"Sit, Ms..." Chloe welcomes as the suspect sits down in the same chair as Dr. Hayfield was in.
"Mrs. Yusek." The woman says calmly. She awkwardly looks at Lucifer as she adjusts her purse on her lap.
"Now where were you at the time of the murder of you next door neighbor, Ms. Kilna? Did you have any grudges against her?" asks Chloe.
"I was having a glass of sweet tea with my husband last night and yes I did have a grudge against that insane cat lady." Mrs. Yusek says coldly. Then she moves her head in closer to Chloe to add, "Do you understand how annoying it is to hear cats crying every single night while the owner doesn't do anything about it. I am glad that someone took her out."
"I know the feeling about a certain someone who won't stop whining." Chloe says as her eyes point to Lucifer. "Could easily pass as a cat. But did you hear anything last night of what happened? Any shadow?"
"No I saw nothing. You forget I was having my honeymoon with my husband. So clueless. I thought all women in LA would have a mind of their own." Mrs. Yusek says insultingly as she flips her red hair. Then she curtly gets up to walk away. Before she steps out, Lucifer movies in the way between her and the exit. He looks deep into her eyes then asks, "Is you husband really your desire? Maybe there's some affair? If it isn't then tell me what really is."
She hangs her head down and retorts, "I want none of this. All I want to do is get out of here and far away from you people."
"But tell me. I'm all ears." Lucifer says calmly as he raise her head with his hand to look him in the eyes.
"I-I... wish I could have seen Gertrude's face before she died to tell her off." Mrs. Yusek hesitantly says as Lucifer moves out of the way to let her out.
Chloe turns to see Lucifer and says, "It seems as though Gertrude's neighbor could be the killer."
"Or not." Lucifer answers, "But in the meantime, I can't wait to punish the murderer when we find him!"
The third and last suspect showed up to be asked for answers. This time, it could maybe be final before they set out for an arrest.
