Chapter 14 : True Potential
Side Note : A "Memory" near the end of this Chapter came from a chapter of "Young Ninjas" by VickyT36, the credit for that Memory as well as the Young Ninjas OCs go to her, not Me. ( Minus Richard, Hazel, Landon, Harmony, Liam, Alizah, Montgomery and The Formlings because I created those OCs )
Last Time on The Masks of Garmadon : Kai brings The Formlings and The Nindroids to attack Charlie and Lydia, with them escaping yet again, a little later Liv gets a message from "The Quiet One" and she knows not to let her down, with Kai getting captured by Harumi and brought to The Temple of Resurrection, with Harumi giving Kai a piece of her mind about Charlie and Lydia's current Matter, while Lydia knocks Charlie out and brings him to the Royal Palace the following day, with Charlie then mocking Lydia, and she reveals that they have Kai and Chen, with Ultraviolet then bringing in Misako, which was a surprise to Liv and Lydia, with Lydia then saying there was nothing between them and Charlie...
Lydia was then forced to kill Nya as part of their plan, but Resurrected her first along with Jay, then Cole, Morro, and Queen Akita, with Lydia failing to bring back Lloyd, with her breaking down in tears and getting a tight embrace from her brother, when the Police come to arrest Lydia and she reveals her "TRUE" Intentions and has The Oni's Mercenaries fight back and defeat the Sons of Garmadon, with Lydia wearing her Princess Clothes as her Civilian Outfit once again, and leaving them behind just as her aunt hugs her, and Lydia smiles at her Mother in the distance, with Harumi leaving the Palace, and Lydia doing the same...

The Sons of Garmadon were immediately brought to Kryptarium Prison, except for Killow, Marco, and Chopper Maroon who were right now at Laughy's with the Young Ninja and Hutchins.
"While I'm glad the Sons of Garmadon are arrested, I miss my Mommy knowing she's alive, but not just her, My Grampa and My Daddy... While he made some bad choices, my Grandfather showed that he cared about Me, even through his dark side, and my Daddy was always the one beside me ever since I was a baby, and I don't know if I will ever get my chance to say sorry to him, but if I do, then I feel it will be the last thing he needs of me. . ."
Hutchins : I really hope soon we can find The Empress.
Liv : Lydia said she saw her last night, and actually smiled at her, then she nodded and ran off, so I think Harumi's gonna show her face, but just not right now.
Killow : I'm just glad Cole's not here right now, or else he'd be up there singing, and it's horrendous.
Liv : Very.
Killow was wearing a Black Shirt, Orange Vest, Black Belt, and Orange Shoes, and while it was surprising to Liv that Killow was actually wearing a shirt, she was just glad he changed his ways.
Young Ninja : It's time for training and we're getting started. It's on, you know. And we wanna see you whip and shout it.
Right now, Felicia, Xavier, Nina, Zach, Lucas, Via Siddie, Richard, and Liam were the ones singing, while Charlie, Eric, Montgomery, Clayton, Alex, and Alizah were watching.
Misako : That, and the kids seem to be so happy.
Pixal turned around and saw Lydia behind them, sniffling, and with her arms crossed.
Pixal : Not all of us are happy, though.
Misako, Liv, Pixal, and Charlie looked back and saw Lydia, she was still sad, but who could blame her, her Mother was still missing, she lost her Father, her Home, and she spent the last week of her life on the run, thinking she was gonna be killed by one of Ninjago's Greatest "Protectors"
Liv was about to walk over there but Charlie grabbed Liv's arm and nodded, and she nodded back and let Charlie walk over to her.
Charlie walked up the steps, and looked at Lydia, who finished wiping tears from her eyes.
Charlie : Hey, you okay?
Princess Lydia : I don't know, I've lost everything in such a short time, and... I guess I can't stop thinking about the Palace, my Family, and-
Charlie : Lloyd?
Princess Lydia : My Daddy is the one who's always been there, ever since I was a baby, I'm just a little girl, I wasn't ready to say Goodbye to him, and I still never got the chance to say sorry.
Charlie : Liv and Misako are still here, and so are Montgomery, and your cousins, and soon your mother as well, You're not alone anymore Liddy, and my Father said you can stay with us as long as you need too, you still have your friends, and... you still have Me.
Charlie was referring to him and his friends, and when Lydia turned around and put her hands on the wood railing, Charlie put his hand on top of Lydia's, and she smiled.
Liv : Lydia...
Princess Lydia : Yea?
Liv : Sit down for a second, both of you.
Charlie and Lydia sat down next to each other, and Liv sat across from then and spoke.
Liv : I want you two to hear the same thing my Mother told myself, and my brother... is that bruises go away, and your bones may break and heal, but getting your heart broken... you can take time to Mourn, but if you two bury what's best about you beneath a hard shell, you may not come out any better than my Father.
Charlie : I can understand that, I've had my heart broken before, but I've learned Trust and Love can both be abused...
Princess Lydia : For Me, I just at first saw it as Charlie's fault for what happened to my Daddy, even though he had nothing to do with it, when he was trying to Protect Me, I guess I just thought it was better to have somebody to blame other than yourself, but one thing that helped me see through my own dark masks that I wore, was Charlie's heart.
Charlie then looked at Lydia and smiled...
Lydia did the same back...
Charlie then noticed a TV, and it got his attention.
Charlie : Uncle Dareth, cut the music!
Dareth shut the Music off and the others complained about what was happening.
Kai : Son, what's wrong?
Charlie : Look.
Dareth : It's always good to see my beautiful Gayle Gossip.
Kai : Oh hush, Dareth.
Gayle Gossip : Where an assailant had rammed a stolen Garbage Truck in front of it, and was told it was a Jailbreak with Two of the prisoners being freed.
Dareth : Okay, maybe not so good, and didn't you guys just put The Sons of Garmadon's Generals in jail-
Killow : If it's them, we have a Problem.
Gayle Gossip : I also got word that the escaped convicts were The Sons of Garmadon's Generals Mr. E and Ultraviolet, and they claimed to be looking for the location of their Ex-Comrade, The Gold Princess, Princess Lydia Garmadon.
Princess Lydia : What?!
Gayle Gossip : The security footage also caught the three on them on video.
They played a clip and they saw a dark man, with four arms.
And Lydia was then Paralyzed in Shock.
Dareth : Holy Cow, that looks like.
Princess Lydia : No, that's Impossible, that could be anyone!
Xavier : But he has Four Arms.
Nina : So does Mr. E, who doesn't have Four Arms these days... Samukai, Mr. E, Nadakhan...
Charlie : And Garmadon.
Lydia turned around and faced her Aunt and Grandmother.
Lydia : You guys stopped the Ceremony right?
Nina : I'm telling you people, that isn't him, if that's Lord Garmadon, I'm Lord of the Jig.
Jimmy : That's when I saw, T-t-t-t-The Quiet One, saying to bow down to Lord Garmadon!
Liv : What?!
Nina : Alright fine, it's him.
The glass Lydia was holding she broke in her bare hand, and got Mad at herself.
Princess Lydia : Dammit!
Kai : Lydia!
Princess Lydia then punched one of the wooden poles and expressed her anger.
Princess Lydia : This is all My Fault!
Hutchins : No Princess, it's Not, and he said he saw The Quiet One, you really think Harumi did this.
Liv : Nobody except Lydia's "Seen" Harumi since The Royal Palace, but if she's doing this, then something is telling me she didn't have a choice, especially if Garmadon is looking for her daughter.
Master Chen : Then what do we do with the Princess, it's not safe for her in Ninjago City if the Sons of Garmadon generals escaped.
Charlie : I say for now she comes with us, until we figure out what they're gonna try to do.
Liv : Just when I thought I was gonna be able to leave that destructive man behind Me.
The Young Ninja then prepared to leave Laughy's when something came into Brenden's Mind.
Brenden : Hang on a Minute!
Liv : What?
Brenden : Lydia did the Resurrection Ritual for Lloyd and Garmadon, and she did it at the same time, if Garmadon's back, then-
Princess Lydia : My Daddy. . .
Liv : If he's back Lydia, we'll find him, but we need to get to the Police Station, and Dareth, because we can't let anything else bad happen can you take Hutchins and my Mom somewhere safe.
Dareth : I have a corner pad on the east side of Ninjago City, I could take them there.
Princess Lydia : Please do, I don't wanna lose my Grammy again.
Misako : You won't Lydia.
Dareth : Come on then.
Hutchins : Liv.
Liv : Yes?
Hutchins : Don't, Let anything, happen to her.
Liv : I won't.
The Young Ninja leave Laughy's and then head off to the Police Station, and Brenden, Nya and Killow go with them.
17 Minutes Later. . .
The Young Ninja arrive at the Police Station and see the front of it completely covered in debris, and see the Garbage Truck.
Nya : Sweet Geez, this thing really ate it.
Killow : So did the Police Station.
The Young Ninja and Liv were talking with the Commissioner, and Liv was carrying Lydia in her arms, but Lydia was frowning, and she seemed very concerned and nervous.
Xavier : And you're sure it was Garmadon?
Commissioner Stevens : Yes, but he's not the Man I remembered.
Liv : At least he's not inside my Mind this time.
Princess Lydia : Commissioner Stevens, I'm sorry, this is My Fault.
Commissioner Stevens : Princess, don't blame yourself, when I still owe you a thanks for helping us bring down the Sons of Garmadon.
Charlie : Yea, but with Garmadon back, Harumi with them, and Mr. E and Ultraviolet out of Prison, who knows how long that'll last.
Commissioner Stevens : True, but this is someone, else, it seems like Lydia only brought back the worst parts, a few of my officers tried to take him down, but we... We couldn't stop him, I tried to reason with him, but it was like there was nothing left to reason with.
Brenden : Good gracious.
Nya : But you saw where they were going? Harumi wouldn't just help Garmadon break the Generals out and then disappear, they must have left a clue.
Charlie : Clue's don't seem to be The Empress' strong suit, Nya.
Princess Lydia : Or Mine, I want my Mommy.
Montgomery : You're not the Only one.
Charlie : Yea... Me too.
Felicia : Well Charlie, for now that's not gonna happen.
Charlie : No really, Sherlock.
Commissioner Stevens : All Garmadon left was crumbled concrete, broken glass, and a bunch of humility.
Charlie : Not really humiliating if the kids have already saved your butts three times, how is this any different.
Princess Lydia : Because this my Grandfather, we're dealing with, and if there's nothing good left in him, then who knows what else his Destruction could affect... except Me.
Charlie : What?
Princess Lydia : Like I said, that one time last year when I saw him at Kryptarium Prison, it seemed like the first time he genuinely smiled through his evil side.
Liv : Lydia, I don't know.
Liv then let Lydia down, so she could stand with the others.
Commissioner Stevens : I'm sorry I couldn't bemore useful
Princess Lydia : I let my Grandfather escape, it's my Fight to bare.
Commissioner Stevens : Princess, are you sure you would be up for something like this?
Richard : She will be with this thing.
Richard pulled something out of his backpack, and Lydia held it in her hands.
Princess Lydia : The Scimitar of Sanctuary.
Richard : Figured you would make use of it Lydia.
Lydia then put the sword on her back, and looked at Commissioner Stevens.
Felicia : I think it's safe to say we're all up for this.
Nya : Look on the bright side Lydia, it's just your Mother, your Grandfather, and Mr. E and Ultraviolet, at least the rest of the Sons of Garmadon are locked away.
Gayle Gossip : Now standing outside of Kryptarium Prison where I've gotten word there seems to have been a break in, but you heard me right folks, a Break-In, the entire Kryptarium Prison has now fallen under control of it's Prisoners.
Killow : You had to say that, didn't you Nya?
Nya : Sorry.
Siddie : Gotta admit, Top Notch News Center.
Xavier : Now we know where Harumi and Garmadon are.
Princess Lydia : I need my Mommy back. . .
Meanwhile at Kryptarium.
Harumi was Mischievously smiling and wearing her Sons of Garmadon clothes, and she was in the Watch Tower in the middle of the room, and she just opened all of the cells.
The Sons of Garmadon cheered as they were set free, and Ultraviolet came into the room with Noble.
Ultraviolet : The Warden wants to make a deal!
Warden Noble : You and your friends are free to go, Your Highness, who needs to get hurt right?
Harumi : Actually, I think we're gonna stay, in fact, if there's anyone leaving. . .
Mr. E used The Mask of Vengeance and then threw Noble out of the Prison, along with the Officers.
2 Minutes Later. . .
Harumi : The Young Ninja will be coming, make preparations.
Harumi : Sons of Garmadon, No longer shall I be The Quiet One, No longer shall I be Silent, and No longer shall you, for our Father has Returned!
Just then Garmadon walked into the Prison and the Bikers began chanting.
Harumi quickly pulled out her phone once she was out of The General's Sight, and set a text to Liv.
"Please hurry Liv, I may be Quiet for now, but the Bikers sure as heck won't be."
30 Minutes Later aboard The Amber's Grace.
Kai used The Ship to pick up the others once they were done at the Police Station.
Lydia was looking at the picture of her family on the steps of The Royal Palace, when the others spoke.
Siddie : Okay this is not good, and I mean, really not good.
Hazel : You guys barely beat them last time.
Xavier : That was when we had the help of the entire Police Force.
Eric : That, and The Oni's Mercenaries.
Nya : Son, is that "Group" still a thing?
Eric : Considering it's made up of Me, Alex, Siddie, Richard, Killow, and Sons of Garmadon Members who stand up to their own cause, since that "Cause" is still a thing, then yes.
Kai : Now they have Lord Garmadon on their side.
Brenden : Kai, be glad it's one destructive man, and not three, or one who has possessed another's Mind.
Liv : Thanks for the reminder.
Brenden : You're welcome.
Princess Lydia : We go to Kryptarium Prison.
Nina : Okay, we take on Garmadon, Harumi, Mr. E, Ultraviolet, and their entire army while they're all in an impenetrable bunker tighter than Fort Knox... Not the best idea, Princess.
Eric : Sis, that's not helping.
Nina : Any other better ideas?
Nobody said a word to Nina, and kept quiet.
Nina : Okay not all at once, One at a time Please.
Princess Lydia : It's My Fault, that my Grandfather escaped, I need to fix this Mess.
Kai : That sounds like a bad idea, Princess.
Siddie : Yea, and Kai would know Bad Ideas, over the last week, or last five months, he's been full of 'em.
Charlie : No argument here.
Kai got a shocked look in his eyes as she stared at Charlie who was using the Console.
Xavier : I agree, it's too dangerous Lydia, and the officers said they were looking for your location, you going there is exactly what they want.
Liv : And Lydia, you heard what Commissioner Stevens said, it's not him anymore.
Princess Lydia : You don't know that, I have to try and fix this.
Xavier : I believe your past experiences with your Grandfather are clouding your judgement, Princess.
Nina : Yea, we need to stay as far away from that Place as possible.
Richard : Listen to the Lord of the Jig, she's right on this one.
Nya couldn't restrain herself from Richard's Joke, and Nina punched her mother's arm.
Nya : I'm okay Nina.
Kai : Sis, don't push it.
Princess Lydia : Okay, then what do we do?
Everybody stared at Lydia, because they didn't know.
Princess Lydia : That's my point, what they want, is the only option we got Left.
Liv : Lydia, Commissioner Stevens said it's not him, you can't go through with this.
Princess Lydia : Aunt Liv, you don't know that, and you never truly saw him the last time, He was inside your own Head, you never fought him, or really saw him, He, Was, Inside Of You!. . . and Now you are all the ones who don't understand, My Grandfather has been inside my head even since I was a baby, since he escaped The Departed Realm and now he's back... and I'm not so sure If I am in a running mood where the second I step off this ship they'll find me, So I say we take the fight to him.
40 Minutes Later. . .
The Sons of Garmadon were getting attacked by Garmadon to increase his anger.
Harumi : Good, his strength has returned, but there's so much more, all these years your Father and Brother kept the truth from you, they were afraid of what you'd become, both blood of Oni and Dragon flows through you, you have the power to Create, and Destroy.
Garmadon : Tell me, How.
Harumi : As "Master" Wu stated to the Ninja and The Young Ninja, you too can unlock your true potential, but you would have to overcome the one thing that stands in your way, the one person that's been holding you back, and to unlock your true potential-
Person : He would have to destroy Lydia to do it. . .
The Sons of Garmadon turned and saw Killow walking towards them, since the "Defenses" were weak because of how big Killow is, and he still has The Mask of Deception.
Harumi : What?
Killow : Harumi, Lydia as The Power of Creation inside of her now, and that is Garmadon's one weakness, and Lydia said it herself, she doesn't know how to fight, and she doesn't even need to fight, imagine what problems that could cause.
Garmadon : My, Granddaughter.
Harumi : Yes, Lydia.
Garmadon : Then, Bring her to Me!
Harumi : I won't have too, she will come!
Killow : I say keep working, get your strength even stronger.
Garmadon : Very well.
Garmadon went back to attacking but Killow grabbed Harumi, dragged her inside the Prison, and shut the door to the yard.
Harumi : Killow, what are you doing here?
Killow : Harumi, are you Nuts, you know if Lydia comes here, He'll kill her!
Harumi : I don't see how I have many options, I only rejoined The Sons of Garmadon to try and find out who was pulling the strings.
Killow : That, and the two people who were, were rising to bring them down, and Lydia and I did that, and now that you're back, and Garmadon's back without a single way to get free, you'll be stuck in this thing until he makes a new Colossus and crushes you under it's feet!
Harumi : I don't see how I have a choice, at least not until after this fight, Lydia has to survive, she has too.
Killow : She's a little girl, she won't be able to survive this the way Lloyd did.
Harumi : How would you know, you said it yourself, her power is Creation, the opposite of Destruction, Creation is the one thing that can't totally be destroyed.
Killow : But Lydia herself is not creation, and she can be destroyed, you have to remember that.
Harumi had tears form in her eyes as she shook her head, worrying about her daughter.
5 Minutes Later. . .
Nya was on the Bridge of The Amber's Grace and she looked at the Console.
Nya : That's odd, who locked the Navigation?
Princess Lydia : There you are Nya, the others want to talk downstairs.
Nya : Give me a minute Lydia, I just need to unlock this.
Princess Lydia : That can wait, my Aunt Liv has a plan, you're gonna wanna hear this.
Lydia smiled as she walked away, and Nya followed her.
Nya : I know it's tough to take a backseat on this one, Lydia.
Princess Lydia : I get it, we can't be impulsive, we don't want this to spiral into anything worse.
Lydia opened the door, and had Nya walk inside.
Nina : Hey Mom, so what's this Plan?
Nya : Me, Lydia said it was Liv's Plan.
Nya gasped when she knew what happened and Lydia locked the door.
Liv : Lydia, What are you Doing?!
Princess Lydia : Aunt Liv, I'm sorry, but I have to confront my Grandfather, I have to face him.
Siddie : Lydia, No!
Kai : Princess, come on!
Xavier : It could be a trap!
Nina : Yea hey, we can talk it over, we'll figure it out!
Princess Lydia : I'm sorry guys, but this is something I have to do... alone.
Prince Zach : No!
Via : Lydia, Stop!
Siddie : Don't do this!
Liv : Lydia, Come back!
Lydia ran up to the Bridge, and used it to call her vehicle, The Racing Bike which used to belong to Lloyd ( Lloyd's Velocity Racer ) just then, the radio from the Sleeping Quarters came on.
Siddie : Lydia, you don't have to do this!
Liv : What would your Father do, Lydia?
Princess Lydia : He would be doing this as well, and I know it, don't try to use him against Me.
Charlie : Liddy, This isn't you!
Lydia muted the radio and opened the cabinet where The Scimitar of Sanctuary was, but she left it.
Lydia then grabbed a Parachute and went to the edge of the ship, and she attached a ninja hood to her jacket, and she put it on, the Tie and the Mask of the hood were Black, while the rest of the hood was Yellow.
She then jumped off the ship and used her Parachute, and she saw her bike, which was Yellow now too.
Below the Deck of The Amber's Grace.
Eric : Okay, we've stopped Fake Snakes, Pirate Genies, Plaguing Anomalies, yet we can't break down a door?!
Siddie : Get back!
Siddie used her Earth Punch to break the door, and Liv went out in front.
Liv : Come On!
Everybody went to the bridge and opened the Navigation. . .
Nya : She's on her bike.
Siddie : She's heading for Kryptarium Prison!
Nya : I can't change the course, Lydia locked the Navigation.
Kai : Xavier, Override It!
Just then, Liv opened the Communications on Lydia's Bike, and they tried talking to her.
Liv : Lydia, don't do this, Please!
Princess Lydia : I'm not in the Mood for talking Aunt Liv, this is ending, Now!
Nina : No Princess it won't, these a lose-lose scenario, Come on!
Princess Lydia : Well since you guys never trusted Me, why should I trust you.
Liv : Um, Give us a Minute!
Princess Lydia : Take all the time you need.
Liv : Oh, Thank-
Lydia hit the red button which ended the call, and she kept driving.
Liv : Hang up, real clever.
Lydia kept driving and stopped the bike in front of the prison, and fired two green laser to blow the door open.
Princess Lydia : Grandfather, Face Me!
Lydia ran inside, and the Generals saw.
Ultraviolet : Want us to deal with her?
Harumi : No, nobody lays a hand on my daughter, but are the cameras on a closed channel?
Killow : They don't have to be.
Harumi : Broadcast this whole thing, and let them see what true power Is... Ultraviolet, you and Mr. E go and enjoy the show, I'll make sure all of Ninjago sees this.
Ultraviolet : Awesome, Let's Go!
Ultraviolet and Mr. E leave the room, but Harumi's Mischievous smile fades the second the door closes.
Harumi : What is she thinking?!
Killow : She takes after her Father, that's plain to see.
Harumi : I really hope one of the kids sees this, or Lydia's gonna die.
Just then, the broadcast appeared and it was Lydia walking throw the dark hallways of the Prison.
In The City. . .
Person : No way, Look, It's The Gold Princess!
Dareth's Apartment. . .
Hutchins : Misako, look.
Misako : Lydia. . .
The Amber's Grace. . .
Xavier : There, got the Navigation back online.
Siddie : Why is Lydia on the Screen.
Kai : Harumi. . .
Liv : She wants us to see this, she's trying to get us to help her.
Kryptarium Prison. . .
Lydia entered the "Main Room" of The Prison. . .
Just then, the door behind her locked, and she heard some sort of evil growling.
Garmadon : It was Foolish to come here!
Princess Lydia : Show yourself, Grandfather!
Lydia used her powers and waved her hands around, and they emitted a Golden Light.
Just then another door opened and Garmadon entered the room.
Garmadon : You... You've Changed.
Princess Lydia : So have you. . . I don't want to have to fight you, Grandfather.
Garmadon jumped and hit the ground where Lydia was with his powers, and every time he landed a hit, Lydia's Creative Powers surrounded her to try and protect her from the opposite.
Princess Lydia : Grandfather please, this doesn't have to be you!
Garmadon : This is the New Me!
Harumi and Killow were watching from the Security Room, and she was concerned.
Harumi : Come on Lydia.
Lydia was standing on the railing of one of the floors, and saw dark energy come form Garmadon's hands.
Princess Lydia : You have, Power?!
Garmadon tried four times to hit Lydia with his powers, and missed and she landed in the middle of the room.
Princess Lydia : Grandfather, I didn't come to fight you.
Garmadon turned around and started heavily sighing ( Or Growling ).
Garmadon : You're alone, Lydia.
Lydia removed her hood and stared at Garmadon.
Princess Lydia : No I'm not, because my Grandfather has always been in there even though his evil side, he won't fight with Me!
Everybody in Ninjago was watching the standoff with Lydia and Garmadon, and what he said scared her.
Garmadon : There is nothing left in me to fight for!
Garmadon charged at Lydia and punched the stone pillar.
Lydia ducked out of the way until Garmadon started using his powers again.
Garmadon : I've played many roles.
He blasted Lydia several times and her powers did push him back, but not enough with the pain she in, with her powers trying to protect her, with Garmadon firing at Lydia every time he said a word.
Garmadon : I've worn many Masks... Father.
Once.
Garmadon : Husband.
Twice.
Garmadon : Brother.
A Third Time.
Garmadon : Teacher!
Fourth Time.
Garmadon : Grandfather!
Fifth Time.
Garmadon : But Only one was summoned back... Destroyer!
Garmadon blasted Lydia into a cell and she immediately got up and tried to fight back.
Ultraviolet and Mr. E were watching from the top floor of the Cells, while Killow and Harumi were still in the Security Room.
Harumi : It's the Fight the Fuels him, he's finding his True Potential.
Killow : If he does, he'll kill her!
Harumi : That's why I'm Freaking Out!
The Citizens of Ninjago closely watched as Lydia tried to get to her Grandfather.
Princess Lydia : Grandfather, listen to Me!
Garmadon kept trying to hurt Lydia and she kept trying to speak.
Princess Lydia : You don't have to do this, my Mommy's using you as a pawn.
Garmadon : YOU, are the Pawn... a Pawn to your own Foolishness!
Lydia's Creative Golden Powers surrounded her as Garmadon spun around and threw Lydia threw a wall.
Lydia got her knees and instantly clutched her sides with her guts hurting.
In Ninjago City, Lloyd was wearing a black jacket over his clothes so nobody could tell it was him.
Lloyd : Get up Lydia... Get up.
Lydia slowly got her feet but she was having trouble breathing as she slowly backed away and tried to use her powers as Garmadon approached her.
She fired, and they actually landed a decent hit, but Garmadon quickly went back and hit her against the wall and blasted her back into the middle of the room near the stone pillar supporting the Watchtower.
A few tears forming in Lydia's eyes, because she didn't want to hurt her Grandfather, but she didn't have a choice.
She fired up her powers and charged at him.
For a solid Minute they kept sparring with each other, until Lydia grabbed his arms and tried to push him towards the pillar.
Garmadon then used his other arms to grab Lydia's and throw her to the other side of the room.
He then grabbed stone rocks brown off the pillar and tried throwing them at her.
Lydia tried dodging the rocks, but it wasn't easy with the pain she was in.
Garmadon punched her one more time, and Harumi and the others saw actual golden blood coming from Lydia's forehead and her right shoulder, left arm, and her legs.
Lydia then stood up and couldn't see her Grandfather.
Garmadon then grabbed Lydia and used his higher arms to raise her off the ground and make him face her.
Princess Lydia : Grampa you wouldn't hurt Me... I'm your Granddaughter.
Garmadon saw the golden blood and dirt on Lydia's face, but through the golden blood and tears, something in Lydia's green pleading eyes were keeping him from speaking.
Lydia fired up her powers and put her hand to Garmadon's forehead, and it was sending a memory through his mind. . .
May 31st, 2038. . .
It was just over one week after Lydia Garmadon was born... Lloyd and Harumi were taking Lydia to Kryptarium Prison after Garmadon said he wanted to see her. . .
Garmadon : Hello... Lydia.
Harumi was carrying Lydia in her arms, and she reached her hand out to him... which was her way of saying she wanted her Grandfather to hold her.
Garmadon : What is Lydia doing?
Lloyd : I think she wants you to hold her.
Harumi : If that's what she wants, Lloyd.
Lloyd pressed a button to open Garmadon's cell and he stepped forward.
Harumi handed the baby to Garmadon, and he carried Lydia in his lower arms, and she seemed to be comfortable in her Grandfather's arms and she even smiled at him... and Garmadon smiled back.
And Lloyd saw... it wasn't a fake dark smile, but a real happy one, reaching for Lydia with one of his upper arms and let Lydia's reach and grab his hand and cooed.
Garmadon chuckled and even let a tear go down his face and he said something to his son, and it made him smile.
Garmadon : She's a descent baby, Lloyd.
Lloyd : She seems to really like you.
Harumi : Lloyd, Visiting Hours are almost over, so we should be leaving.
Garmadon then handed baby Lydia back to Harumi, and Lloyd closed his Father's cell.
Lloyd : Well... I guess we'll see you later Father.
Garmadon : Yes, and Lloyd?
The two turned around and looked at him.
Garmadon : Would it be possible for me to see her again?
Lloyd looked at Harumi and then Lydia was cooing and looking at Garmadon.
Lloyd : Well, I guess that'll be okay...
Harumi and Lloyd leave the Prison with Lydia, and Garmadon gave one more smile.
February 24th, 2045. . .
Lydia took her hand off Garmadon's head, and he let a few tears leave his eyes as he let his power grow, and Lydia began rapidly breathing, as Garmadon threw Lydia very hard and she screamed and went through the stone walls
Every Stone wall made Lydia's Powers try to protect her, but they ended up causing her more pain, and after going across the final wall she flew a small distance, and went across the dirt outside Kryptarium Prison.
Princess Lydia : *Scream*
After hitting the ground for the last time, everybody in Ninjago gasped at what they saw, especially Lloyd, Misako, Harumi, Liv, Montgomery, Alizah, Charlie, Hutchins and Liam.
Ninjago City. . .

Tears formed in Lloyd's eyes, as he said the name of his daughter.
Lloyd : Lydia. . .

Dareth's Apartment. . .
.
Misako had her hand over her mouth in shock, while it happened to Lloyd, she didn't think Garmadon would hurt Lydia.
Hutchins : Oh... My.... Gosh.
Misako : My Grandbaby.
Hutchins : You know she's almost seven right?
Misako : She's still that way to Me. . .

Kryptarium Prison. . .

Killow : No way. . .
Harumi : No. . .

The Amber's Grace. . .
Montgomery : My Sister. . .
Liv : I made a Promise to Lloyd that I would protect Lydia and I couldn't even do that, I feel like I failed her.
Felicia : Well at least someone said it.
Charlie : Oh knock it off, Sis!
Alizah and Liam : Our cousin.
Charlie : Garmadon's going to suffer when I see him.
Liv : Charlie, that's the last thing Lydia wants.
Charlie : And she may die because of her heart. . .
Kryptarium Prison. . .
Garmadon still had his power surrounding him, but with a tear going down his face, even he was in shock that he hurt his Granddaughter. . .
Harumi had tears in her eyes as she, Killow, Ultraviolet, and Mr. E ran up to him and saw Lydia slowly crawling away.
Harumi put her hands on her hips, and bit her lip, because she was Mad at the Generals.
Ultraviolet : The Streets and Cities are in fear, everybody saw Lord Garmadon-
Harumi : Defeat my Daughter, I got it!
Killow : Dark Lord.
Garmadon : While I got my Powers back... I will say, even I am shocked, by what I just did.
Harumi : Let her live, to see her Grandfather's Reign.
Garmadon knew Harumi wanted him to let Lydia go, and he and Harumi both knew, he couldn't hurt her... not now, so he let his powers calm down.
Harumi : The rest of you, gather everyone, and we ride to the city at dawn, It's time Ninjago meets their new Emperor... Emperor Garmadon.
The Generals walked away, but Garmadon and Harumi just watched Lydia.
Lydia gasped with every breath she took, and she could barely try to crawl away from the Prison.
She got onto one of her knees and there was dirt, golden blood, and tears in her eyes as she looked back and saw them. .
Princess Lydia : Grampa. . . Mommy. . .
Lydia pulled out the picture of her family and looked at it once as the strength in her knees and her hand gave away, and the Picture blew away into the night, and Lydia fell onto her chest and she tried to use her hands and get up, but it was no use. . .

And All of Ninjago saw it. . .
Next Time on The Masks of Garmadon : The Young Ninja hurry to try and save The Gold Princess, but the sight is a horror to Liv and Montgomery's eyes, seeing that Garmadon hurt her that much, with Liv wondering why Harumi went with them, since she just watched her daughter get thrown through several stone walls in Kryptarium Prison, with Lydia then being brought to Mystake, but a Price comes with the one thing that could save her, and that price may be the only thing that could save Garmadon from eternal darkness, while Lloyd remains in hiding from The Sons of Garmadon until he's sure Lydia is okay, while Harumi remains by Garmadon's side, only for him to reveal he doesn't want to hurt Lydia, but his darkness is keeping his powers out of him before he has a chance to bury his anger. . . which is proven, as another Ship falls, and so do half of the Team. . .
Is Lydia okay? Will Lloyd reveal himself? Which side will Garmadon choose?
