Chapter 17 : The Resistance
Last Time on The Masks of Garmadon : The Remaining members of The Young Ninja hide Lydia from Garmadon, only for Harumi to be talking about her on top of Borg Tower, before sending Mr. E down to find her, with Nya reuniting with Eric ( Again ) and Lydia saying she can't lead the resistance because of how weak she is without her friends, or her Father, only to find out in that half of The Jade Empress' wreckage is in Ninjago City, meaning the other was somewhere else, meaning the others were still alive, just to get surrounded by The Sons of Garmadon, and The Elemental Master come to their aid along with Killow, and Charlie finally sees his Mother again, and they head off to the hideout of the Resistance.

"I'm glad Charlie's Mother has given me hope in my darkest hour, but it's gonna take more than a few familiar faces to fix this whole mess, it's a Start, I can see that, but all starts soon become beginnings, then become endings, which become new beginnings for us all... my Daddy taught me that, and I know that I will not let him down... wherever he is."
The Second Garbage Truck ( With Lydia hanging onto the edge of the back ) pulls into the Garbage Depot. . .
Once Hazel walks in with the Mech, the door closes...
Skylor : *Grunt*
Lydia turned to see Skylor get out of the truck and stretch her back, and she saw Skylor was wearing the same clothes she did during Season 9.
Princess Lydia : What is this Place?
Hazel : It appears to be a Garbage Depot.
Hazel left her Mech in the corner and got out and took off her helmet.
Skylor : I call it the Rest of the Resistance.
Eric : Wow Aunt Skylor... Such a great name.
Skylor : Your Mother's sense of humor suits you Eric, I'll say that.
Nya smiled at Eric, and he smiled back.
Skylor : First thing's first, Intros.
Brenden : Actually Skylor, I think hugging is the first thing.
Charlie got out of the other truck, and ran around the front of the one Skylor came out of and she turned around and saw Charlie jump into her arms.
Charlie : Mom!
Skylor caught Charlie, and carried her son in her arms as she tightly hugged him.
Charlie : I missed you so much. . .
Skylor : I missed you too, Charlie... Hey Dad.
Master Chen : Skylor, where were you?
Skylor : I was off the grid, from those Bikers, I had seemed to become a target for them for The Mask of Deception.
Charlie : You were gone for so long... where did you Go?
Skylor : There are some things I can't tell you Charlie, and that's one of them, I'm sorry I left you for so long. . .
Charlie let tears soak his Mother's shoulder, as he hugged her.
Skylor : I know it wasn't okay for me to abandon you like that, but... I didn't see any other options.
Charlie : I don't care as long as you're with Me... I love you so much, Mom.
Skylor : I love you too Charlie... So much.
Skylor carried Charlie in her arms and kept hugging him, and the others let them have their moment.
Morro : Well, almost six months must really have taken it out of those redheads.
Richard : Dad, you have no idea.
Skylor snapped out of his and kissed her son's cheek before letting him down.
Skylor : Anyways, the Intros of course... you kids already know Kayla, Trey, and Shane.
They saw the three Elemental Masters get out of the truck, and it was a shock to Richard that Kayla smiled at him.
Then Skylor pointed towards the stairs.
Skylor : And There's Nicholas, Son of Neuro, Master of The Mind.
Eric : Better known as The Nindroid Hacker.
Nicholas : I said I was sorry.
Charlie : Nobody's judging you pal.
Just then they saw a boy floating and land next to Trey and Kayla.
Skylor : Garret, Son of Gravis, The Master of Gravity.
Then they saw a girl with Green Hair ( in the same style as Nya ) and Lipstick behind Dareth.
Skylor : Then there's Teresa, Daughter of Tox, The Master of Poison.
Teresa : Just what are you supposed to be?
Dareth : I'm Dareth, Master of... Brown.
Teresa : Brown?
Charlie : Great for First Impressions, Dareth is kind of... oh who am I kidding, not kind of, he's a complete... a Complete Idiot.
Teresa smirked, and the others saw she had the same green poisonous marks on her as her Mother did, and she was wearing the exact same clothes.
Dareth : You'll witness my power!
Dareth then made a weird stance in the middle of the group.
Charlie : Dareth good lord, don't do that sort of stuff after you answer Teresa's questions, her Attitude is a Poisonous as her Elemental Powers.
Teresa : Thank you Charlie.
Tox : Somebody insulting my daughter?!
Skylor : No Tox, my Son was giving "The Master of Brown" a point.
Tox : You had to save him... again?
Skylor : He gets in the truck, he won't get out of it.
Suddenly they saw somebody randomly appear on top of a stack of metal crates on the left side of the depot.
Skylor : Of course there's Richard, The Son of Morro, Master of Wind.
Morro : And a way better person than I was at that age.
Tox : May I ask why she is here?
Tox was pointing at Lydia, and it made The Young Ninja sigh.
Charlie : She's the one leading us now, and you're gonna suck it up, Poisonous Buttercup.
The Resistance laughed at what Charlie said, and even Tox and Teresa after a few seconds.
Then there's Harmony, Granddaughter to the Master of Crystal.
Harmony walked around the part of the Depot where The "Sparring Ring" was, and she smiled at Charlie and Eric.
Harmony : Feels nice to see you two again, you've done the most for my home.
Skylor : Then my son Charlie, Grandson of Master Chen, Leader of the Young Ninja, and Master of Amber with the ability to absorb others' powers.
Charlie actually got a light applause from the other Elemental Masters mainly because he was the one who saved them from Chen's Island, and he's so far the Lead Protector of Ninjago.
Just then the time reversed.
And the applause went for a few more seconds then stopped.
Nicholas : What just happened?
Charlie : Yea, since we last saw you guys, there's been a few new faces.
Just then they saw Alex, only her robes were now like Nya's from Season 13, only she didn't have the armor on her shoulder, and her hood was still the same as it was from Season 8 ( Except the hoods were plain and didn't have any sort of letter or symbol on them ) and the accents on the belt and armor were Royal Yellow and the accents she painted in swirls on the sleeves were Light-Blue.
Queen Akita : My daughter Princess Alex, Birth-Daughter of Acronix, Princess of the Formlings, and Master of Time.
Alex then raised her hands and used her powers, which was interesting to the other masters.
Just then they saw a Polar Bear on the right side of them and he roared, which scared the others until he turned back to normal, and they saw who it was.
Queen Akita : Then my son Clayton, Alex's Brother, Formling of the Polar Bear, and Master of Snow.
Clayton bowed in respect to the others, they didn't exactly know why, it was just his way of showing respect.
Then they saw what seemed to be a like a Orange and Red Bird, who breathed Molten Metal into a steal bucket next to it, and they used their form abilities and turned back to Normal.
Via was wearing what seemed like Kai's Dragon Master Robes, except they were Vermilion and Dark Red rather than Bright Red and Scarlet.
Queen Akita : My daughter Via, Alex's Sister, Formling of the Molten Phoenix, and Master of Molten Metal.
Karlof : That be useful in this place.
Charlie : Yea, as long as she doesn't shoot her powers at you two, or you will melt.
Via : Not exactly Charlie, I control the heat of the Metal, so If I'm not trying to melt them, then I won't.
Just then somebody appeared behind Lydia out of nowhere.
Princess Lydia : Whoa.
Paleman Jr. : Sorry Princess, I have a habit of sneaking up on people.
Paleman : My son Paleman Jr., Master of Light.
Skylor : Then there's the other Young Ninja.
Maya : My Grandson Eric, Son of Nya and Jay, Twin Brother of Nina, Nephew of Kai and Skylor, Cousin of Felicia and Charlie, Boyfriend of Princess Alex, Savior of Ninjago from Nadakhan, and Master of Water.
Teresa : That was a long intro.
Charlie : Then there's our friend Hazel, who's the New Samurai X.
Hazel removed her helmet and smiled at the others, and they smiled back.
Charlie : Then Liv, The Master of Destruction.
Liv waved to the others, and stood beside her Mother.
Then the others looked towards where Richard and Via were, and saw a girl with Blonde and Magenta hair, and she was wearing clothing like Jay's Dragon Master Robes, only the robes were Magenta and Byzantium instead of Blue and Cerulean.
Liv : My daughter Alizah, Master of Supernova.
Charlie : Which is one of the two elements I can't absorb.
Tox : That's a game changer.
Alizah : If there was a nickel for every time I heard that, we could buy a Mansion instead of a Garbage Depot.
Liv : Sweetheart, I wouldn't go that far.
Then they saw a boy wearing the exact some Hunted Robes as Lloyd.
Princess Lydia : My Twin Brother, Montgomery, Master of Energy, and The Green Ninja.
Montgomery removed his hood and let the others see his Green Eyes.
Tox : Why are his Green eyes brighter than yours Princess?
Charlie : We'll get to that Tox.
Misako : Then my Grandbaby, Princess Lydia, Cousin of Liam and Alizah, Twin Sister of Montgomery, Niece of Brenden Kenway, Liv Garmadon, and Queen Akita, The Gold Princess of Ninjago, Daughter of Lloyd and Harumi, The Master of Creation, and The Gold Ninja.
Tox : Wow, we have gold again?
Princess Lydia : No, I lost my Powers, that's why my Green Eyes are darker.
Skylor : My powers came back after some time Lydia, just as I feel you'll find yours again.
Dareth : You Elemental Masters call this dump your home?
Karlof : Not dump, Depot.
Skylor : We found it to be a perfect cover, it allows us to go wherever we want in the city while keeping an eye on things.
Just then everybody saw Turner run past Skylor and she fell.
Turner : Sorry Skylor.
Skylor : I'm fine.
Trey : Then there's my Dad, Turner, Master of Speed.
Turner : Sorry about your kids though, you guys, once we saw what happened, we knew we had to help.
Misako : It's okay Turner.
Nya : Yea, we just found reason to believe they're all okay.
Eric : Do you guys see all of that Scrap Metal outside, you thinking what I'm thinking Mom?
Nya : Of course Eric, we could build Machines, Armor, whatever we need!
Teresa : What we need is an Army!
Tox : Teresa, not this again.
Teresa : Did you guys see the size of that thing, we're like ants, which is why-
Charlie : We need the Elemental Power of Creation.
Tox : What?
Liv : Charlie has a point, my niece's powers did land a punch on Garmadon.
Princess Lydia : They're not wrong, regardless whether I won or lost that fight at Kryptarium, my powers made him see the light, how else do you think he spared me, and couldn't bring himself to hurt me when he brought that big stone thing to Ninjago City?
Liv : Lydia believes her powers can help my father see the light again.
Misako : If that's possible, I would say to go for it.
Skylor : We won't jump into that stuff just yet, this is a start, a fresh start.
Teresa then got her annoyed look off of her face and Skylor walked away.
Skylor : Whatever we don't have you two can build... Eric and Nya, use whatever you want, it's yours.
Eric : Yes!
Eric then high-fived his mother and they heard yelling.
Karlof : I love to build!
Karlof : Sorry I get excited by metal.
Skylor put her hands on her hips and smiled at Karlof, then she looked at her son.
Charlie : Thank you Mom, you saved us... but how did you know where to find us anyway?
Princess Lydia : Yea, how did you know we were in trouble?
Skylor : A little old birdy and a few dragons told me
Lydia smiled at Skylor, and everybody looked towards the side of the depot where the long table was.
Mystake : Hello again, young Lydia Garmadon.
Misako : Mystake?
Nya : What are you doing here?
Mystake : I am sure the rest of you have questions about where your friends are, luckily, I have answers.
Liv : Of course you do.
Princess Lydia : Don't suppose any of those answers would be about my Daddy.
Misako : I can't tell you where he is Lydia, but I have something that you should all know.
Liv : What, Mom?
Misako : Lloyd's Alive. . .
Nya : What?
Brenden : You're kidding.
Liv : Really?!
Misako : Liv, you were unconscious near Dareth's Apartment when he showed himself, that's why your Father was unconscious when you woke up, he can't show himself right now.
Liv : Alright.
Princess Lydia : My Daddy's back?!
Misako : Yes Lydia, he's back.
Tears of joy then left Lydia's eyes, as Charlie held her hand, and Lydia then sat down in one of the chairs with one of her hands clutching her side with her guts still hurting a bit from Garmadon's Fight with her, but she was happy Lloyd was back. . .
Mystake : I believe these two are yours
Just then Mystake opened a cage, and it was Lydia and Alizah's Dragons.
Princess Lydia : Destin.
Alizah : Nova!
Nova flew over and landed on Alizah's Shoulder, and Lydia sat down in a chair as Destin flew straight at her and stared licking her face.
Princess Lydia : *Laughing*
Alizah : Thank you, Mystake.
Mystake : Of course.
Lydia let Destin play with Nova, and Alizah walked over to Liv.
Meanwhile on Borg Tower. . .
Garmadon was sitting on his throne, and Harumi came to the roof with Mr. E, Chopper Maroon, and Ultraviolet.
Harumi : You asked to see us, Emperor?
Garmadon looked at the Generals, and back at Harumi.
Garmadon : Where is Killow?
Harumi : Gone, he turned over to the Resistance.
Garmadon let power into his hands and slammed them against his throne.
Garmadon : Who failed to capture my Granddaughter?
Garmadon looked the three generals, and Chopper Maroon pointed at Mr. E and he walked forward.
Harumi : Mr. E did everything he could, we didn't anticipate Killow's Betrayal, or The Elemental Masters helping my daughter.
Ultraviolet : Your daughter?
Harumi : You've done your own things over the past twenty years, well so have I.
Garmadon : That's it!
Garmadon used his powers and raised Mr. E into the air and Harumi stepped back.
Harumi : Please my Lord of Destruction, he's just a Machine, built to follow orders.
Garmadon : My orders are not to Fail.
He continued tearing the Nindroid apart, and let him spark and fall apart.
Garmadon : A fine Machine, but... Fine isn't good enough.
Ultraviolet and Chopper Maroon looked at Harumi with concern as they watched.
Garmadon : The hold is nothing more than the sum of it's parts.
After Mr. E broke apart and his remains fell to the ground, Garmadon turned to Harumi.
Garmadon : Bring me, my Granddaughter, or next... I'll tear you, to Pieces!
Harumi bowed to Garmadon in freight, as she looked at Mr. E's remains, but Chopper Maroon could hear what she said in her own Mind.
"What have I done?"
Chopper Maroon : If you don't want to Fail, why send people who will, rather than doing it yourself?
Garmadon : What was that?
Chopper Maroon : You heard me, why send us, when Mr. E was one of the best, meaning none of us are good enough, if you want Princess Lydia, then you should capture her yourself, if you are certain, you cannot fail.
Chopper Maroon and Harumi left the roof in haste, and it was making Ultraviolet suspicious.
Ultraviolet : I feel those two are up to something.
Garmadon : Leave my Daughter In-Law out of this, she's concerned enough about Princess Lydia, so leave her be. . .
10 Minutes Later. . .
The Resistance Hideout. . .
Lydia was in the room that had the huge window that could look out to the Depot, and she was in there with Mystake.
Mystake poured a liquid into a clear glass teacup, and Lydia spoke.
Princess Lydia : So my Great Uncle, my Friends, and my Cousin, they're alive?
Mystake : Oh yes yes, though they have passed beyond my ability to see, my Traveler's Tea has sent them to a realm that has existed long before Time had a name, the realm of your ancestor.
Princess Lydia : You mean The First Realm, The Realm of Oni and Dragon... Is there a way for me to bring them back?
Mystake : I am afraid not, young Princess.
Princess Lydia : So there's no way?
Mystake : In this case the only way for them to return is to find a way back from the other side, here.
Mystake slid the cup across the table they were sitting at to Lydia, and she looked at it and yellow liquid inside.
Princess Lydia : What is it?
Mystake : It is your favorite Sweetheart, Yellow Tea... it'll help clear your mind.
Liv opened the door and was watching Lydia, and she could see the dirt and sand on her niece's black chestplate on her back, she wasn't sure what was weirder, the dirt and sand on her that somehow matched her colors, or the parts of her where there wasn't armor, and it was bright yellow and gray instead of black.
Lydia smiled as she grabbed the cup and drank the tea.
Princess Lydia : Thank you Mystake.
Mystake : Well, such patience, I assume you learned from your Great Uncle?
Princess Lydia : No, from my Daddy, he's grown very wise in his age, especially from what he learned from you.
Mystake smiled at what Lydia said, and she continued speaking.
Mystake : The way to help your friends most, is too endure.
Princess Lydia : Endure?
Mystake : Like the Fox pursued by The Polar Bear, or the Polar Bear pursued by The White Wolf, you are the hunted, and must live long enough to see their return... you must, Endure!
Lydia knew Mystake was referring to the Formlings, similar to how Alex was being pursued by Clayton and Akita during The Plague Doctor's virus games.
Princess Lydia : Who are you?
Mystake : I am just an old woman, who has made a great many mistakes... hence my name, Mystake.
Princess Lydia : It doesn't matter how many mistake you've made Mystake, it matters if you gain any wisdom from those mistakes as you learn and move on, but there is no learning to have, or wisdom to be found, if you make the same mistake twice.
Mystake looked at Lydia in shock, hearing those wise words come from her mouth.
Liv : I'm starting to think that your wisdom will definitely rival Mystake's, Sweetie.
Liv came in and sat on the third side of the table, in between Lydia and Mystake.
Princess Lydia : Somehow, I feel like I can't believe your wisdom rivals my Uncle Wu's, or my Daddy's.
Mystake : It's like you and your own wise words said Lydia, wisdom comes from many places and mistakes, it is true wisdom if you don't make the same mistake twice.
Lydia looked out the window and saw Nya, Skylor, and Eric working.
Nya : Okay bring it to the left, alright down...
Skylor grabbed the Metal and let Eric use the welding torch.
Eric : Got it, Mom.
Nya high-fived her son, and they kept working.
Skylor smiled, seeing that even though Jay and Nina were gone for now, she was just glad Maya and Eric were still with Nya.
Mystake : Your Grandfather, has a destructive power I have only once before seen.
Princess Lydia : Will I ever be able to save him?
Mystake : That all depends on you Lydia.
Princess Lydia : I know, I also know that my power isn't gone, I just gave it away, thinking I never had it, and the best way for it to return, is to show that my power never came from my hands, it came from inside here.
Lydia put her right hand onto her heart, and Mystake and Liv smiled at Lydia.
Mystake : You have good friends beside you Lydia, all of them have the right intentions, and good hearts.
Mystake pointed out the window and it was Killow carrying some of the Metal to help Nya, Skylor, and Eric.
Princess Lydia : I understand.
Mystake : Good, so lead them... and Endure.
Princess Lydia smiled and finished her tea before leaving the room.
Princess Lydia : Thank you, Mystake.
Liv saw Lydia smile as she left the room, and she looked at her old friend.
Liv : Something tells me Lydia is already well on her way to finding her own True Wisdom, Mystake.
Mystake : Believe me, I know... hearing such wise words already come from her young lips, tells me she will truly have the will to be one of the wisest woman to have ever breathed the air in Ninjago, as well as one of the best wills to Lead and Protect it.
Next Time on The Masks of Garmadon : Mystake talks about helping Charlie and Lydia, since they're leading the Resistance, with Lydia giving more of her own wise words to Mystake, when she reveals her plan to show all of Ninjago that she is okay, before Lydia and Montgomery come across their Mother once again, and decide to talk, only for them to be told that she can't come with them, just as she comes across Garmadon saying that Lydia is close, only for them to give their speech, and Harumi sees how they escape, bringing her and Chopper Maroon to make their choice, and stand beside The Gold Princess of Ninjago... Princess Lydia Garmadon.
Will Harumi choose a side? What will Lydia say to Ninjago City? Will Garmadon capture Lydia?
