The Masks of Garmadon
Side Note : There is one more "Special" Character that will be Introduced in this Chapter, and he'll play a major role for Montgomery and Lydia, but you'll have to wait and see what I mean about that.
Side Note 2 : Apart from the part of this chapter at Fort Lexington, I would prefer not reading too much of this Chapter, because I will admit this one is pretty weird.
ItsYoGreenGirl : That is true when you say Lydia is Wise and not stupid for her age, just because she's Young... I felt like Lydia's Speech needed to stand high above the other speeches in these stories so far, and I think I accomplished it, and it certainly won't be the last speech Lydia gives, I can promise you that.
Chapter 20 : Next Mission
Last Time on The Masks of Garmadon : The Resistance celebrates their Victory at Borg Tower, just as Harumi reunites with her Twins, just as The Masters of Form, Sound and Nature arrive at the Garbage Depot with Chopper Maroon, Killow, and Marco, Dareth then asks Mystake for his own power, and Lydia talks about why he can't be himself and he gives his own reasons why, while Lloyd heads to Borg Tower to talk about him holding himself back from hurting Lydia, while Dareth gets his "Brown" power and he does his weird stance once again in front of Teresa and Carlos and shows off, and insults Lydia as she gets carried in Harumi's arms, while Brenden and Akita talk about their remaining allies and The Sons of Garmadon's "Other Bases" and they create a plan to take the fight to them. . .

"I'm glad that my Mommy is back, and we are searching for my Daddy, but... a year ago... I've always been curious about what happened to my brother, and I'm not talking about Montgomery, what happened to Kieran is anybody's guess, but all I know is that he's been missing a lot longer than I could remember, his Imagination was what held the very balance to all Elemental Powers in existence, especially Liam's and my own, because one's imagination can be Creative and Destructive at the same time, and the same can go that Imagination could lead to all Elemental Powers in existence, much like Alizah, I'll never understand where Kieran's powers came from or where they are now, but as long as I soon know where he is now, everything may finally work out in our lives, even my Grandfather's. . ."
The Resistance is working on their plans to head across Ninjago and save their Allies and Stop Garmadon. . .
On Brenden's Side. . .
Brenden's Team was made up of Alex, Montgomery Clayton, Via, Carson, Killow, Tox, Shade, Paleman, and Kayla.
Princess Alex : Okay Daddy, is there any that we should try and Go for, I know we're trying to get as many as possible, but are there any specific?
Brenden : Sure, I'll open the clips.
Brenden then used his phone and attached it to a Tripod so they could see.
Brenden : The T7... Commonly known as "The Combat Car", The T7 was a Prototype created Interwar in The Realm of the Rivers, it was a Moderate amount of Armor, a 16 mm Elemental Cannon, as it was commonly used by Akita, while lacking armament in some cases, it was an adequate vehicle, Proving useful with Metal or Rubber tacks on Road, Dirt, Snow, Mud, Water, and could drive in waters up to four feet deep, and fire Elemental Blasts at a distance of a Quarter-Mile.
The Clip ends. . .
Brenden : There aren't a whole lot that we need to "Go For" but the ones we do need, will pack the biggest punch in a number of ways, when it comes to Terrain or decent sized Fights, the T7 is the vehicle.
Teresa : What else?
Brenden : The T12, Commonly known as "The Crane", The T12 was a Heavy-Armored, 12-Wheeled Track Recovery Vehicle, with a Crane instead of a Cannon or Turret as the Main Use, The Crane was actually helpful as there was a Flare Launcher attached to the top to light up dark areas, or shoot down Air Vehicles, as well as The Crane used for recovering damaged or trapped armor... during it's run, "The Crane" recovered and kept twenty-eight of the Tanks running throughout The Eternal War.
Killow : Sounds like something I would drive.
Brenden : It's not the Fastest or the most Offensive of the fifty, but it packs a punch against air troops.
Killow : Yea, and there's a considerable amount of those now.
Brenden : The T20, known as "The Gunner" the T20 was one of the Smallest, but one of the Fastest and most Offensive of the tanks, still managing to hold a Crew of six inside the Tank, and was mounted with four turrets, and was an 8-Wheeled Track, perfect for Sand, Dirt, Road, Water about three feet deep, and snow, making it useful on Cross-Country attacks.
Tox : That could be of use.
Brenden : Especially if you're the one firing Tox, or Teresa, since the Poison could knock 'em clean out... anyways.
Brenden : The T21, known as "The Lightweight" was the lightest armored tank of the group, and above all else, the Fastest, giving it good speed to avoid damage from enemy attacks, and could carry ten inside the Tank, and had an Elemental Cannon, and two four turrets, one of each side, making it one of the best to use in battle, despite the lack of armor.
Queen Akita : Think about that one.
Brenden : The T28, known as "The Super-Heavy" was the Slowest and Heaviest Armored of all the tanks built, one of four models to be a Mass-Produced Vehicle in the Eternal War, as it took stood out and surpassed any model created until the T49, making it one of the greatest tanks to have ever been used, being in Service to The Resistance, and was even a tank used by Paul Travers, in 2040, and was in service to the start of the Eternal War in 2042.
Killow : We need that thing.
Carson : Definitely.
Brenden : Not done yet guys... The T32, known as "The Project" was another Heavy Tank designed to be a small surpass to the T28, the only 14-Wheeled of the Tanks, and was used on any terrain, and it's size allowed it to drive in waters up to seven feet deep, having six turrets, and an Elemental Cannon on the tank, and was used as a main Camp and Fort Defense in The Eternal War, to destroy Pirate Ships, with only twenty-six being made, with all but one destroyed by 2043, with the last one in Sandstonia.
Paleman : Interesting.
Brenden : The T33, known as "The Flamethrower" was designed to stand out from other tanks, as it was Heavily Armored and spray painted Black, and used a Flamethrower Cannon on field, and was used in direct attacks, was 10-Wheeled and used on Sand, Snow, and Road, and could drive in water to about four feet deep.
Brenden : The T34, known as "The Suspension", was a tank that could survive drops, yes drops, of up to four stories without any damage to the tank itself or the Crew, due to the strong suspensions on the tank's tracks and wheels, making it ideal for Off-Terrain battles, and used for four years by The Resistance.
Charlie : So it's really a moving armored vehicle with wheels that act like a Trampoline.
Brenden : Yea, pretty much.
Brenden : T36, called "The Velocity", had armor that was placed sixty degrees, good for absorbing and deflecting all types of enemy damage, and was called the Velocity for it's large, rounded, low penetration rounds that fired, and could actually knock enemies back a far distance without harming them.
Nya : That's an adequate one then, if it's Harmless and Defensive.
Brenden : The T40, better known as "The Prototype", was the only tank design to not be used in the Eternal War, as the Airbase carrying the Prototypes of the model was raided and all but one were destroyed which is the one in Sandstonia, but since we're technically rebuilding the T40, I feel we don't need this one.
Brenden : T43, well known by all as "The Wargame" was a simple tank design made just before The Eternal War, and proved to be far better than anybody could have asked for, being one of the most well used tanks in the war, until the production of the T49.
Skylor : So not that long?
Brenden : Nope.
Killow : Moving on.
Brenden : T46, told by most to be called "The Black Mortar" was a dark, fast, light armored tank that used Mortars instead of Cannons to shoot at a very far range, and instead of Turrets, they used Elemental Rocket Launchers, nice design, but was only really used by Me or Akita since only we had Powers.
Killow : More useful in this time then.
Brenden : The T47, called "The Sandman", was a best Off-Road tank to have been made for The Eternal War, proving useful against any sort of enemy line it came across, especially when taking beaches or any terrain with Sand, with the tracks and wheels designed for the tank to spend less time on the street.
Brenden : T48, known as "The Gun Motor Carriage" was a cross between a Jeep and a Tank, with two Elemental Cannons, and Heavy Armor on the vehicle, and was used initially as a Tank Destroyer, proving useful with it's high speeds, roll cage, and heavy armor, protecting the crew from damaged attacks.
Empress Harumi : Hmm.
Brenden : Last but not least, The T50, called "The Legacy", was a Light-Infantry, and Heavily Armored tank, fast with its 16-Wheeled Tracks, proving good for any sort of terrain, and was the only tank model to be used throughout the entire war since it was created, being the only one who outlast the T28.
Tox : You done?
Brenden : Yes, and that felt completely pointless.
Charlie's Side. . .
Charlie was with Maya, Eric, Queen Akita, Harmony, Neuro, Shane, Karlof, and Paleman Jr.
Eric : So what's our goal here Charlie?
Charlie : We take The Amber's Grace from Ignacia and sail to Fort Lexington, to find the Captains, and warn them of the Sons of Garmadon at Camp 494, then to make sure they don't take the fight to anywhere else on their home, once that's done, we bring Paul and Rhona back to Ninjago, and make sure they disappear from the Sons of Garmadon's Radar... Once they do, and once Brenden's Group gets back, we head to Polastraits.
Empress Harumi : Either of my twins going?
Charlie : Montgomery's going to Sandstonia, the little royal bundle of joy you have in your arms right now is staying here where Garmadon won't find her, because any biker will be sure to tell Garmadon if she leaves the City.
Brenden : Which is weird considering the City is only place right now that's not safe for her.
Princess Lydia : I've had that thought before also.
Right now Lydia was just sitting in her mother's arms as Harumi carried her, and she was eating more of her Gummy Worms.
Empress Harumi : Sweetheart, haven't I told you to stop abusing your Gummy Tooth?
Nya : That's what Liv and I have tried to tell her.
Princess Lydia : I'm almost seven.
Empress Harumi : Is that your idea of-
Lydia then grabbed a few of the Gummy Worms and shoved them into her mother's mouth, after eating them Harumi had Montgomery go into the room upstairs, since Mystake wasn't in there.
Harumi put Lydia down, and Montgomery blocked the door.
Princess Lydia : Mommy, what are you... no, not this again!
Empress Harumi : You give me Gummy Worms, I'm giving you the quiet one.
Harumi grabbed Lydia and started tickling her, and it made Montgomery smiled that their mother was helping them look on the bright side.
After nearly 3 Minutes, she let Lydia catch her breath.
Princess Lydia : Mommy, having my brother lock me in here with you, that was not fair.
Empress Harumi : Neither was you shoving gummy words inside my mouth.
Harumi then grabbed Lydia and carried her in her arms.
Montgomery : That'll teach you, Sis.
Princess Lydia : Oh shut up.
The three of them laughed, and Harumi gave Lydia her candy back, as long as she wouldn't eat too much of it.
2 Hours Later. . .
Lydia's Team. . .
Lydia and her group were trying to find more of their allies, and Lloyd's Whereabouts, but it wasn't working.
Princess Lydia : This is Pointless.
Liv : Yea, how there isn't any trace of my little brother is beyond Me.
Brenden : All I know is that earlier he was at Borg Tower talking to Garmadon but then he used his dragon and left, and nobody's seen him since.
Misako : Why Lloyd would go and talk to his father is what I wanna know.
Liv : Or why Dad just let him leave unscathed.
Brenden : Well, We need to get moving on this, so we're heading to The Formlings' Kingdom.
Empress Harumi : Just be Careful brother.
Brenden : I will be.
Queen Akita : Brenden, don't let anything happen to them.
Brenden : If I didn't trust the kids, I wouldn't bring them with me Akita. . .
Lydia then remembered that Liv and Misako both didn't want her leaving the City, but she didn't seem to care. . .
What she didn't realize, who she was looking for, was coming their way.
Brenden : Alright guys, let's go.
Brenden's Group used The Battle Wagon and the T40, and drove off, but what they didn't see was Lydia jumped on top of the Battle Wagon without anybody else noticing as it drove off.
3 Minutes Later.
Charlie : Alright, well we're heading to Fort Lexington.
Nya : Mom, make sure nothing bad happens to my Son.
Maya : I will Nya.
Harmony : Come on, Let's Go.
Charlie's Group used Bikes they stole from The Sons of Garmadon and drove off from The Garbage Depot. . .
Eastern Side of Ninjago City. . .
Sawyer and Nails were near the Eastern Exit to the City which led towards The Birchwood Forest, then The Formlings' Kingdom...
Sawyer : So much for us being made The Generals if Garmadon's having us keep watch near an exit.
Nails : I'm guessing he's done it for a reason, if he's been "Sensing" things.
Sawyer : Holy cow, look!
Sawyer got his binoculars and saw Brenden's Group leaving and driving away from the City, but they saw Lydia on top of The Battle Wagon.
Nails : Who is that?
Sawyer : It's The Gold Ninja!
Nails : What?
Sawyer : She's leaving the City, we gotta go tell the Emperor!
Nails and Sawyer ran off to tell Garmadon about Lydia.
Ignacia Village. . .
Charlie, Maya, Eric, Queen Akita, Harmony, Neuro, Shane, Karlof, and Paleman Jr. were all boarding The Amber's Grace to head towards Fort Lexington, since they managed to go through the Forcefield without problems, and the Sons of Garmadon left since they couldn't break it. . .
Queen Akita : Really hope we get there before they destroy the Fort.
Charlie : We got nothing left to do but try.
Karlof : Charlie, radio going off.
Charlie : Let Me see it.
Karlof threw Charlie the Radio since he stole it to listen to enemy communications.
Sawyer : Ultraviolet, it's Sawyer!
Ultraviolet : What now?!
Sawyer : Nails and I just got a solid confirmation at the Eastern Exit, Princess Lydia has left the City!
Ultraviolet : What?!
Nails : We're serious, they're heading towards The Formlings' Kingdom!
Ultraviolet : I'll get word to Garmadon!
Charlie : You have got to be kidding Me.
Queen Akita : Shouldn't we go help her?!
Charlie : No, we'll go get Paul and Rhona first, we can't risk losing more allies than we already have.
Harmony : No argument there.
Charlie : Alright, let's go.
The Amber's Grace sails out of Ignacia and towards Fort Lexington. . .
Meanwhile near the Garbage Depot. . .
Lloyd was walking towards the Entrance to the Depot, but what he didn't know was Nya and Hazel's new Security Measure. . .
Lloyd walked past the Open Gate heading towards the Garbage Depot's Closed Garage Doors.
Skylor : Somebody's approaching the Garbage Depot.
Dareth : Defenses!
Dareth pushed a button and suddenly two large turrets appeared on top of the building, and they were listening to see who it was.
System : Halt, Scan Initiated.
Lloyd : Security is way overdone in these times.
The system scanned Lloyd and the turrets turned off when it was complete.
Skylor : No Open Fire.
Dareth : Who is It?
System : Identity Confirmed, Enter Emperor Lloyd Garmadon.
Liv : Lloyd?!
Skylor immediately opened one of the Garage Doors to the Depot and Lloyd walked inside and she closed it.
Lloyd : You guys really overdue Security these days.
Liv and Harumi : Lloyd!
Liv and Harumi ran and threw themselves into Lloyd's arms, and he returned the hug, as their tears soaked his shoulders.
Liv : I thought you were Dead.
Lloyd : I was. . .
Empress Harumi : Why can't we ever catch a break.
Lloyd : Rumi, we caught five months, I guess that was break enough.
Empress Harumi : Not for Lydia she joined The Sons of Garmadon and tried fighting against the kids just as a ruse to bring them down and resurrect you and your Father.
Liv : I said I wasn't blaming her. . .
Lloyd : Well what she did worked.
Liv : I guess I should be thanking Lydia for this.
Lloyd : Where is she?
Liv was confused by that, and she, Misako, Harumi and Lloyd looked around but Lydia wasn't there.
Liv : Lydia?!
Just then Liv's phone went off.
Liv : What Charlie?
Charlie : Guys, Lydia's left the City.
Liv and Lloyd : What?!
Charlie : I'm not kidding, check out this transmission I got a few minutes ago.
Charlie then played the Transmission between Sawyer and Nails, and Ultraviolet and Garmadon.
Sawyer : Ultraviolet, it's Sawyer!
Ultraviolet : What now?!
Sawyer : Nails and I just got a solid confirmation at the Eastern Exit, Princess Lydia has left the City!
Ultraviolet : What?!
Nails : We're serious, they're heading towards The Formlings' Kingdom!
Ultraviolet : I'll get word to Garmadon!
Just then the channels switched.
Ultraviolet : Dark Lord!
Garmadon : What do you want?
Ultraviolet : I got word from Sawyer and Nails at the Eastern Exit, Lydia's left the City.
Garmadon : What, WHERE?!
Ultraviolet : She's heading towards The Formlings' Kingdom, they think it's Sandstonia.
Garmadon : Get word to your troops Ultraviolet, we're going after her.
Just then the Transmission cut out.
Lloyd : Oh come on!
Charlie : We need to head to Fort Lexington and take care of our own problems, if you and the Empress feel like being useful, then go help Lydia and Montgomery.
Empress Harumi : Best Idea you've had in a while.
Lloyd : I knew running was a Mistake.
Harumi and Lloyd left the Garbage Depot and used Lloyd's Elemental Dragon to go after Lydia and Montgomery. . .
20 Minutes Later. . .
The Amber's Grace docked a pretty big distance from Fort Lexington away from the Fort and the Town next to it, so it was away from the enemy's eyes.
Charlie : Let's make this quick and get back to Ninjago.
Harmony : Best Idea I've heard today.
Eric : I'm not sure if any ideas have been good today, especially if Lydia left the City without saying anything.
Maya : Probably because if she did, her family would disagree.
Charlie : Why else do you think she did it?
Charlie's group ran towards the Fort to get word to Paul Travers. . .
10 Minutes Later. . .
The Resistance made it to the Fort and knocked on the door, only for a laser gun to be pointed at them.
Eric : Captain, Really?
Captain Holden : Sorry, thought the Sons of Garmadon were finally coming, what are you kids doing here?
Charlie : The Sons of Garmadon took Camp 494, and are planning to raid the fort to kill Paul and Rhona.
Harmony : Where are my Parents anyway?
Captain Holden : On top of the Fort watching the Camp, because they can see it from there.
Harmony : Alright, let's go get them.
The Resistance went to the top of the Fort, and saw Trigno, Averill, Romolus, and Mary with Paul and Rhona.
Rhona : Any changes?
Paul : No, It's like they're just standing there.
Harmony : Because they're waiting for your guards to be down.
Rhona turned around and saw her daughter with the others.
Rhona : Harmony. . .
Harmony : Hi, Mom.
Rhona walked over and kneeled down to hug her daughter, and Harmony returned the hug and then the Resistance looked at the Camp themselves.
Person : It's like they're just waiting for all of us to walk off this roof before they start shooting.
Mary : Son, you have no idea.
Charlie was looking at the boy who looked to be the same age as him, he had long black hair with the hair at the back of his head braided down the middle and the left and right parted over his shoulders, and was wearing a blue and white unbuttoned plaid shirt, and a white shirt beneath it
Harmony : Man, your hair always makes you look like Bard the Bowman from "The Hobbit".
Person : You always say that Harmony.
Harmony : Well at least another one of my old friends ain't dead yet.
Person : Remember that for when the Elemental Masters come knocking.
Charlie : So why don't we go down there an stop them, before they have a chance to attack us, we can't just go to my ship and get out of here, because they'll follow us.
Averill : I'm not arguing, I've been looking for a fight all day.
Harmony : Well Averill, you'll get it.
Person : I'm in.
Charlie : Alright, we'll head down, but everybody make sure they don't lay their hands on Paul and Rhona. . .
Meanwhile at the Garbage Depot. . .
Everybody was waiting for Lloyd and Harumi to come back with Lydia. . .
The Holographic Map that Brenden had on one of the Tables, Liv and Misako were looking at, since Brenden set it to where it could show any elemental Master.
Liv saw a blue and white light coming from Fort Lexington.
Liv : Mom?
Misako : Yes, Liv?
Liv : Are you seeing that?
Misako got up and walked over to where Liv was.
Misako : Seeing what?
Liv : That light.
Misako : What Master is it?
Liv opened it and it shocked her.
Liv : Imagination. . .
Misako and Liv stared at each other, because they knew who it was.
Misako : Kieran. . .
.
.
.
20 Minutes Later. . .
The Resistance was at the base of the hill, and they looked up.
Person : What do we do once we get up there?
Charlie : Whatever we have to in order to stop this attack, even if that means blowing the whole Camp up.
Averill : I'd prefer the latter if it comes to that.
Maya : We'll find out what to do once we get up there.
The Resistance started running up the hill and the Bikers saw.
Biker : The Resistance!
Skip Vicious : Slow them down!
The Bikers then began trying to throw their bikes down the hill for them to try and hit the Resistance, but they kept taking out the low raking members of Fort Lexington's Army, and not that many of them.
Captain Holden : Those guys have terrible aim.
Charlie : Now what?
The Bikers were aiming towards Charlie and the Person behind him.
Person : Got it.
He pulled out what seemed to be a sword handle with a Dragon Blade, much like the weapons they're parents used against Aspheera.
Charlie : Dude, that's just a handle.
Person : Is it?
The Young Boy swung the handle and it showed a Blue and Marble White Elemental Blade.
Charlie : Imagination?!
The Young Boy hit his sword against one of the bikes coming at him and Charlie and it sent it flying back towards the Camp.
Person : Come on!
The Resistance ran to the top of the hill and pointed their weapons at the Bikers, and there wasn't even ten of them.
Paul : Alright, tie them up.
Maya, Paleman, Alex, Eric, and Harmony began tying up the bikers, when Charlie walked over to the young boy who just launched a bike right back at the enemy.
Charlie : Master as well?
Person : Master of Imagination.
Charlie : What sort of Power is that?
Person : I was never sure where my Elemental Power came from, it's equivalent to the powers of Creation and Destruction, sharing the Same Offense and Weakness from both sides as any other, almost as if the Elemental Power is in Perfect Balance to every element in existence.
Charlie : Who are you?

Person : My name is Kieran Holden.
Charlie : A boy born in Eternal War?
Person : Pretty Much, I'm Captain Holden's Son.
Kieran : So now what?
Charlie : Now we get out of here.
Kieran : Wait.
Averill : Wait for what, let's-
Kieran : Stop Talking!
Charlie and Kieran both heard some sort of beeping noise and everybody walked towards the edge of the Camp with was an overhang with the sea directly below.
Kieran : That's a Bomb!
Charlie : Everybody Get down!
Everybody jumped over the edge and went towards the water as the whole camp exploded. . .
Meanwhile. . .
Brenden's Group already finished chewing out Lydia for sneaking away with them, and they were approaching Sandstonia.
Brenden : Alright, our target's right there, the huge building to our right.
Princess Lydia : We get in there, get the vehicles and get out?
Brenden : Yea, then we begin our attack to take back The Formlings' Kingdom.
Clayton : That's easier said than done.
Brenden : Well yea Clayton, that's why we gotta move quickly and with force.
5 Minutes Away.
Lloyd landed his dragon and now he and Harumi were walking through the Sand and Snow.
Just then Harumi's Phone went off.
Empress Harumi : Hello?
Liv : Harumi, Lloyd... It's Liv!
Lloyd : What is it, we need to get to our Twins.
Liv : What about the missing kid?
Empress Harumi : What?
Lloyd : What are you talking about Liv?
Liv : Lloyd... Mom and I just looked at the Map, there's somebody at Fort Lexington you're gonna be shocked to see.
Empress Harumi : Who?
Liv : Who do you think, The Master of Imagination!
Harumi and Lloyd : Kieran. . .
Liv : I tried to contact Charlie but he and his group's contacts went dead almost 10 Minutes ago...
Lloyd : So what do we do then?
Liv : Find Lydia and Montgomery and get them out of there, if Kieran's alive and at Fort Lexington, we need to get him, Lydia, and Montgomery back here, before Garmadon finds out.
Empress Harumi : Alright, try to contact Charlie again, we'll get the twins.
Liv : Alright, just hurry, and Garmadon found out Lydia left the city, so get to her before he arrives.
Lloyd : We will.
Liv ends the call and Lloyd and Harumi take off running towards Sandstonia. . .
Meanwhile. . .
Brenden : Alright, I think we should be all clear to... Oh, my... Gosh.
Princess Alex : What Daddy?
Brenden : Look!
Everybody looked up and saw a huge purple destructive blast and it landed in the middle of Sandstonia. . .
Princess Lydia : He's here. . .
Next Time on The Masks of Garmadon : Charlie and his Team try to escape Fort Lexington with The Lexington Prince... Prince Kieran, only to see the entire Fort engulfed in flames, bringing them to try and reach Paul and Averill's Ships and make an escape, while Maya and Eric head off to The Amber's Grace, but the only question is, how did the Sons of Garmadon know Kieran's Location. . .
Will Charlie and Kieran Escape? Who burned Fort Lexington? Will Garmadon discover The Master of Imagination's Survival?
