Lucifer heads into his night club. The room was still lit, yet feels surprisingly empty even when the cats are upstairs. He walks over to the bar counter to grab a drink. Then Lucifer walks over to the piano with his glass. He sits on the piano bench as he opens the black keyboard lid.
Lucifer sighs as he takes a drink of bourbon. Just when he was about to play a tune, Dr. Linda Martin shows up. She looks at Lucifer who sits all alone and says, "I haven't seen you in awhile, Lucifer. You skipped our appointment yesterday." She tilts her head to add, "Anything on your mind?"
Lucifer doesn't say anything, so Linda adjusts her glasses as she comes closer to the Devil. Then a meow comes as the black cat shows herself to Linda. The therapist sneezes as she sees the cat. She says, "My, this is bad!"
Lucifer looks at her and asks, "That's the bloody point, Doctor."
She shakes her head, "No, the cat. I am allergic to them."
She sneezes as she asks, "Lucifer, follow me to my office. I think we need to talk."
Lucifer stands up as he helps Linda out of his club bar. Then they go off to her office by her car.
Linda breathes in the free air from her office as she sits down on the chair. Lucifer sits on the couch near the door. He's deep in thought from what Chloe told him not long ago.
"So Lucifer, I can see you are going through a deep trouble. The cats and possibly Chloe." The therapist states as she is trying to get her patient to talk.
Lucifer looks up at Linda and says slowly, "It's not the cats that trouble me, the detective got angry with her ex."
"And you." Linda adds as she gestures with her hands at Lucifer from her chair in front of him.
"Except that's not the bleeding point. She accuses me of being... well me and she wants me to change." Lucifer says with a very upset voice.
Linda comments on Lucifer's frustration, "You are upset that she doesn't know you have changed drastically since the day you two met. But Lucifer, just tell yourself that you have changed and then take courage by telling Chloe."
Lucifer shoots up as he smiles while saying, "You are absolutely right, I will tell her that I have changed. Thank you, Doctor!"
He leaves the office as Linda just smiles with a look of surprise that Lucifer was only there for a few minutes.
