Lucifer gets to his penthouse upstairs from Lux to happily pick up the cats. He smiles as relaxation will come from just being himself from now on. As he steps out of the elevator door, the three cats run around the room like usual. The female black cat stops while the two males keep wrestling around. She comes over to Lucifer and looks up with a meow. The gray and orange toms stop to come over with a short meow to Lucifer too.
Lucifer tells them, "Oh now you aren't being such pests like before!"
The three press each other's sides as Lucifer takes them all down to his car. The black cat was last as she was trying to figure out why her comrades were leaving. She begins to protest as the Devil holds her up by the scruff. The black cat scratches the air like before as she tries to get away with her loud yowls.
"Idiot insect! You are going whether you like it or not!" Lucifer says angrily.
The black cat screams more as she turns her head to see Lucifer holding her still. As they go downstairs with the two others, the black cat continues to claw the air. She closes her eyes still screaming. Lucifer puts her in the Corvette. The cat still is whining as she tries to get out.
A call comes from Lucifer's phone as he tries to put her back with the orange and gray cats. He gets the phone and swipes it to see it is Chloe who is calling. He presses the talk button as he holds his phone to the ear and asks lightheartedly, "Bit busy, Detective!"
"Oh sure you are!" Chloe sarcastically says then goes into serious mode, "Ella and I will meet you at the rescue shelter. Be sure to get there on time with all three cats."
Lucifer struggles with the black cat as he nods by saying, "Don't worry, Detective! I'll be there!"
He mumbles through his breath, "If only this cat could stop struggling!"
Lucifer finally gets the black cat in the car by putting her up with him in the passenger seat.
He sets the gear into drive and quickly gets out of where Lux is. The black cat sniffs the air as she lifts her head to try to see the sights of Los Angeles. The two in the back are purring now as they keep their wrestling going.
The location gets near and to Lucifer's dismay, the black cat starts up again with her yowling. Ella comes over to take control of the situation.
"Oh this little one needs attention! Lucifer, I thought they would be better than this since we last met them!" Ella looks at Lucifer with such worry.
"Ms. Lopez, they're fine. Maybe a little famished, but oh well!" Lucifer smiles with such joy.
The black cat now sees the other black cat who is currently sleeping, Charlie. She stops her howling as she climbs over the Corvette and jumps in Lucifer's arms. The cat was acting lovingly to Lucifer as she and the other five cats were taken to the rescue shelter.
On the way, Ella, who is holding the two crazy toms and Charlie, remarks, "My my Lucifer! You did do a good job. I see that one really likes you!"
Chloe giggles as she holds the calico and gray tiger cat. She says, "Maybe one day Lucifer will appreciate cats!"
They walk into the door as Lucifer protests, "I will not. I still hate the little buggers!"
"Except we should all be thankful that the Big Guy made these adorable animals!" Ella says as she hugs all three as she puts them in two cages.
Lucifer sighs as he goes to the one cage where the sleepy male black cat is. He tries to let go of the female cat, but she clamps on with a scream as she doesn't want to go.
Chloe sets her two in a cage next to the crazy toms and says, "Lucifer, be gentle!"
"I am trying to but this stupid cat won't let go!"
Ella steps in front of Lucifer holding the yowling cat and halts by saying, "I think that cat really likes you a lot more than you realize. Maybe just say something to her and she might let go?"
Lucifer shrugs with such hate as he mutters, "That would be just a bleeding waste of time!"
The cat looks over to see Lucifer and now purrs with such love. Lucifer sighs as he says reluctantly, "You need to go now, insect. Someone better than me will take care of you."
With one more look the cat gets in with Charlie with a cage door closed behind her. She licks her paw as Lucifer, Chloe, and Ella make it out to the front desk.
