Chapter 26 : The Weakest Links
Last Time on The Masks of Garmadon : The Rest of the Resistance is in hiding in Ninjago City, with Harumi once again singing to her daughter, as they talk about their current situation, with the next day holding a few surprises, Mystake revealing she's an Oni, Lydia speaking more of her own Wisdom, and Lydia even going to The Temple of Resurrection to speak with her Grandfather, only for him to see the light in his heart, and return Lydia's feelings, just as Ultraviolet tries to send a search to Capture Lydia, with her being captured by the Resistance in the Process.

March 10th - Mount Graystone, Polastraits
10:25 a.m.
Journal Entries : Eric and Harmony
"March 10th, we're now leaving the Outskirts on North Valentine, as we head to take Mount Graystone and take back Polastraits, I close my eyes thinking of Alex, but I end up having the dreams of my own Sacrifice again... it's Harmony's 8th Birthday, and we're planning to take her with us into the battlefield for her to have some real fun with the Sons of Garmadon, we take Polastraits, and we'll be able to help The Rest of the Resistance."
Trigno : Get to Cover!
Eric, Trigno, Alex, Montgomery, and Harmony were in cover, as they looked at Trigno.
Trigno : Alright, Brenden and Captain Holden will lead the maneuver into the square, and our job to lay down suppressing cover fire from that Church
Princess Alex : You mean The Graystone Cathedral?
( The Graystone Cathedral was a huge church that had a massive resemblance to the Seville Cathedral in Spain )
Trigno : Yea, any questions... Good!
Montgomery : I have a Question!
Trigno : Save them up Montgomery, you'll win a gold star, now let's go.
Montgomery : I think I'm his Favorite!
The team got moving and went towards a broken house that the Sons of Garmadon were in.
Trigno : We need some Cover Fire on the left, everybody else flank right, and secure that House!
Princess Alex : Let's move up, I'll cover you Eric!
Eric : Alright.
Eric and Alex moved out of cover, and fired at the Sons of Garmadon, as they moved around the house.
Trigno : There's the Cathedral!
Harmony : That's not the hard part, it's getting through the door that is!
Montgomery : Enemy Armor!
Montgomery pointed to an armored car with a turret, and they went to cover.
Trigno : Get him!
Eric fired his Gun, and the Water knocked the biker out and blasted him out of the vehicle.
Trigno : Reinforcements coming in... Eric get on the turret!
Eric : Got it.
Eric got into the Armored Car and got on the Turret, and fired at the bikers trying to reach the door to the Cathedral.
Trigno : Alright, the Street's Clear!
Averill : Rally by the Cathedral door.
Everybody went to the door and Eric kicked it open, but it was empty. . .
Princess Alex : Where'd they go?
Eric : Must've ran when they heard us coming.
Trigno : The Cathedral is ours.
Eric : I'm moving to the door.
Eric approached the front door to see what was going on in the middle of Mount Graystone.
He opened the door to see the Sons of Garmadon shooting down the Planes and Airships.
Eric : Bikers are downing our fighters.
Trigno : Montgomery, Alex, get out there and hit those guns.
Princess Alex : Yes Lieutenant!
Trigno : Harmony, Eric, you two will provide overwatch from the Tower with Me.
Princess Alex : Just glad it's gonna be you up there, no pressure.
Eric : Don't worry Alex, I got your back!
Princess Alex : You better!
Alex and Montgomery went outside and took out a few bikers as they ran towards the battlefield.
Eric shut the door, and they went towards the Tower.
Trigno : Alright, up the stairs, let's move.
They went upstairs and reached the ladder to the Tower.
Trigno : Up the Ladder!
Just then Trigno saw one of the lower ranking members of the Fort Lexington Army get towards the window.
Trigno : Get away from the window!
He got shot by a Laser, and was knocked out.
Trigno : Oh well I warned him... I hope nobody's scared of heights.
Harmony : Would It matter?
Trigno : Nope.
Eric : Let's just focus on kicking their butts, rather than how high we are.
Averill : That sounded wrong.
Eric : I just heard myself.
They made it to the top, and Trigno handed Eric a Rifle with a 6x Scope
Trigno : Alright, get eyes on Alex and Montgomery so they can take out the Flak Guns.
Eric : On it, call them out, Lieutenant.
Trigno : Got a few bikers by the Burning Car.
Eric fired at all three of the bikers, and knocked them out.
Averill : They're moving up.
They saw Alex and Montgomery get to cover near the cars, when they started getting shot at.
Averill : We got some enemy snipers in that Building.
Trigno : Eric, take 'em out.
Eric : Got it.
Eric fired at the Snipers in the building, and it allowed Alex to move.
Harmony : There's another Flak Gun in the Courtyard, and it's unmanned, I'll keep an eye one it.
Trigno : More Sons of Garmadon, on the Left Flank.
Averill : They made it to the Flak Gun.
Eric fired at the Sons of Garmadon on the left side to cover Alex and Montgomery, and they saw an explosion coming from the building they came out of.
Trigno : Yea, they did it!
Eric : Aright, moving onto the next gun, at the far end of that street on the right.
Trigno : Good eye Eric... Cover them, we got Armored Cars entering the Square!
Averill : They're pinning our guys, hit the Turrets!
Eric fired at the Bikers on the turrets on the Armored Cars, with Montgomery and Alex moving on.
Trigno : They're getting closer to the Flak Gun.
Harmony : Above, we got Sons of Garmadon on the Rooftops.
Trigno : We can't let them hold the high ground Eric, bring 'em down.
Eric fired three perfect shots, and knocked the bikers off of the roof.
Averil : Nice freaking shooting!
Alex and Montgomery kept moving then they started getting shot at with Lasers again.
Trigno : Eric, we got some more Bikers are the end of the street.
Eric started firing, but there were too many guards, and two Armored Cars appeared from behind them.
Harmony : They're taking fire from behind!
Trigno : Armored Cars!
Averill : They're getting surrounded!
Just then a huge amount of Sand went into the side of the Armored Cars and made them crash.
Harmony : What the heck was what?!
Trigno : Must be Brenden and Captain Holden, cover them so they can support Montgomery and Alex!
Eric kept shooting at the Bikers, but at that big of a distance, it was getting harder.
He saw Alex run behind a house, then they saw a flame rise into the air, and there was an explosion.
Harmony : Yea!
Averill : They did it.
Trigno : We hit that last Flak Gun, and we'll hold the Air to take Polastraits!
Harmony : Lieutenant, that last Flak Gun's targeting us!
The gun started shooting and the tower was falling apart.
Trigno : Everybody out, now!
Everybody quickly got to the ladder, but Eric was knocked down and he quickly got up.
Trigno : Get out of there!
Everybody got to the ladder and quickly tried to climb down, when the bells to the tower came loose, and broke the ladder, and Eric fell and a beam fell on his legs.
Harmony : The Bells are coming down!
Eric quickly moved the beam off of his legs, avoided the bells.
Trigno : Move it, Eric!
They got to the stairs and went to the first floor.
Trigno : Almost there!
Eric was the last one to the door just as the bells, and the supports to the tower collapsed.
Trigno : Watch out!
Trigno grabbed Eric and threw him out the door, and he jumped, just as the entire tower collapsed off of the Cathedral and landed on some broken houses.
Just then, Trigno looked at Eric just as he stood up.
Trigno : You see wings on me, Eric?!
Eric : No, Lieutenant.
Trigno : That's because we aren't angles in heaven!
Trigno grabbed Eric's hand and got him to stand up.
Trigno : God darn it, I just lost two good men in there!
Averill : We gotta pull it together and take out those Flak Guns, come on!
Eric : I don't see Montgomery and Alex!
Averill : Crud, they were together before it collapsed, best we can do now is hold this position!
Everybody got to cover, and prepared to hold the small hillside near the Cathedral's door.
Trigno : We can't let those Bikers up here, use the Sleeping Gas Sprayer and the Force Gun to push them back.
Eric : Got it!
Trigno : Here they come!
Averill : Cover them now, suppressing fire!
Trigno : That, Flak Gun is still live!
Harmony : We have to cover this position until they take it out!
Everybody grabbed their weapons and started shooting the Bikers to keep them at the bottom of the hill.
Just then they saw another explosion. . .
Averil : Great!
Harmony : Yes!
Trigno : Alright, They did it!
Trigno : We gotta mark the Target Zone for the Sky-49's, Eric get a Red Smoke out there!
Eric : You don't have to ask me twice!
Eric pulled out a Red Smoke grenade and threw it into the middle of the Square.
Just then they saw the planes come at them.
Harmony : We're gonna get Flanked!
Trigno : Get to Cover!
Everybody got to cover as the bomb made impact, and they woke up and after their ears stopped ringing, Eric saw Alex and Montgomery walking up the hill.
Eric : Alex!
He ran up to Alex and hugged her, and she returned the hug, and kissed Eric's cheek.
Princess Alex : I got it.
Just then, Brenden, Paul, Captain Holden, and Rhona came up the hill as well.
Brenden : Great work kids, you gave it all you had, and got these bikers on the run.
Harmony : Best, Birthday, Ever!
Rhona smiled at Harmony, and hugged her, glad she was okay.
Paul : To be honest I almost forgot about that.
Harmony : I'm just glad we're all freeing Ninjago from The Sons of Garmadon, that's the real gift I could ask for.
Rhona : We know, just keep having a good birthday, Sweetie.
Rhona kissed Harmony's cheek, and she smiled.
Harmony : I'll try too.
Captain Holden : That was some damn fine soldiering, I'd say they came through pretty well, wouldn't you Lieutenant.
Trigno smiled and gave a thumbs-up, and Captain Holden put his hand on Trigno's shoulder before walking away.
Captain Holden : Maybe you were wrong about them.
The Captain walked away and Trigno shook his head and his smile faded as he looked at Eric and Alex.
Trigno : You've been holding out on me kids, I've been way too easy on you, Well now we're gonna find out what you're really made of.
Trigno walked away and Brenden walked over and picked up Alex, and carried her in his arms.
Eric : If we brought him Garmadon's head on a Silver Platter, he'd complain about the shine.
Princess Alex : We keep fighting like we did today, this war will be over in no time, which is why we gotta make the big plays now.
Eric : Alright, count Me in. . .
The Resistance walked away from the Cathedral, and got into the jeeps and drove away. . .
"We liberated Polastraits, and the Sons of Garmadon are retreating as fast as we all advance to the heart of the Winter Side of The Formlings' Kingdom, but now we're all in Trigno's Cross-hairs more than ever, I guess that means we'll just have to deliver and then some."
Earlier that Day. . .
March 10th - Ninjago City. . .
10:27 a.m.
Journal Entries : Princess Lydia
"While I'm glad that plan worked, I don't know how I feel about sending my Mommy into Borg Tower again, especially since my Aunt Liv, my Daddy, and my Brother are all in Polastraits, but I can't worry about that right now, all I can worry about, is my goal, and my goal is to endure. . ."
Right now, The Rest of the Resistance was in the Cold Warehouse that they were in before heading to the Garbage Depot, and they had Ultraviolet and Harumi in there tied up in chairs.
Lydia was wearing her Fisherman disguise again, and so were the others.
Harumi laughed and looked at them all with a mischievous smile.
Harumi : Oh, how the Tables have turned.
Dareth : Well your plan, we got Ultraviolet and Harumi, now what do we do with them?
Killow : Maybe use them for trade?
Nya : Our friends in Kryptarium Prison for them!
What Ultraviolet said next, got on Lydia's Nerves.
Ultraviolet : How does that make you feel Princess, that your Grandfather cares for Harumi, you hear me, he cares for your Mommy, more than he does for his own Granddaughter.
Princess Lydia : My Grandfather, doesn't care of anyone except, Me... the memories I've given him had proven that, and even if she shows otherwise through his Oni Form, that's just it, his Oni Form, Oni are full of Lies, Deception, and Hatred, but that doesn't change the heart and soul of who my Grandfather truly is, and right now, his Oni Form only makes him care about his thirst for more power... He won't free our friends, we'll hold on them until they are valuable to us.
Harumi : My Generals have been here before Lydia, it's only a matter of time they find Me.
Dareth : I hate to admit it Princess, but she's right, I'm hoping whatever card you have up your sleeve is an Ace, because right now we're all about to fold, but don't tell that out loud, because I think she can hear us.
Harumi rolled her eyes and shook her head.
Harumi : And he is one of the people you save, it's ridiculous.
Princess Lydia : I know, Mommy.
Just then Skylor, Charlie, and Mystake came in.
Skylor : We found something in their belongings.
Mystake : I think you need to see this.
Harumi was grunting, and trying to break free of the ropes.
Nya : Go, I'll keep watch over them.
Lydia, Killow, and Dareth walked outside . .
Princess Lydia : So what is It?
They saw the others opened a bag and inside were three Masks.
Mystake : The Oni Masks of Hatred, Death, and Agitation.
Skylor : If your Elemental Power doesn't return, these could certainly help.
Dareth : If it's an ace you're looking for, that's three of a kind.
Lydia held The Mask of Agitation in her hands, and looked at Mystake.
Mystake : But Oni Power is Dark Magic, wield it only at your own peril.
Princess Lydia : I know, I've donned this Mask once before, as it's Magic, and the blood of the Oni it came from, still showed light to the soul and heart of the Dragon.
Killow : Here Charlie.
Killow handed Charlie, The Mask of Deception, which was confusing.
Charlie : You're giving it to Me?
Killow : For me to take The Mask of Death, it's safer in my hands.
Lydia nodded at Skylor, and she gave him The Mask of Death.
Lydia put the Mask of Agitation down for a Moment, and held The Mask of Hatred.
Skylor : What do you wanna do?
a Moment later, Lydia threw The Mask of Hatred on the ground, and put her hands on her hips, as she stared at Ultraviolet and Harumi.
Harumi : My Mask, you're going to steal it?
Princess Lydia : Save you performance Mommy, I'm not gonna use it, because it's a trap... the only reason somebody as smart as her would let herself and Ultraviolet get captured, was because she wanted to be.
Harumi : Oh, very perceptive Sweetheart, you're much wiser than you let on-
Princess Lydia : I hide my own Wisdom for a reason, better to keep it away from anything if Nothing is True, than to believe others when they say it is, especially when they try to take and use your wisdom against you, or for their own Pride.
It was still shocking to Mystake and Misako to hear Lydia's wisdom, but of course they didn't interrupt.
Harumi : Well If I can't trick you, perhaps we can deliver a Message.
Ultraviolet : Emperor Garmadon will destroy you, and you can do nothing to stop him because you can never change!
Harumi : As much as you want to-
Ultraviolet : You never bring yourself to hurt your dear Mommy, or Grampy.
Dareth : You don't know the Princess!
Harumi : Oh don't I, let me ask you something Sweetheart, how do you see this ending?
Ultraviolet : You can't, because there is no happy ending, once green, always green!
Ultraviolet said that as she looked in Lydia's Obsidian Green eyes, and she stepped forward.
Princess Lydia : I felt the same way about myself once, but my Green was much like my own Masks that I wear, it only hid who I truly was, because I'm not, and never was Green...
Ultraviolet : Then who are you, Ms. Garmadon?
Lydia then walked outside of the Warehouse, with the others curious.
Meanwhile at North Valentine. . .
The Resistance was trying to do a small party for Harmony's 8th Birthday, now that they had control of Polastraits, but they were also trying to not lose focus on the current matter. . .
Eric : You two okay?
Harmony : Yea, we're fine, I just wish Landon was here for this.
Princess Alex : I miss my brothers.
Eric : Yea, well I miss my sister, we've all lost something when your Father's ship was crushed Alex, but right now we can't lose focus, especially since tomorrow, we're moving on to Frostown.
Princess Alex : Do you guys wonder what our lives would be like?
Eric : What do you Mean, Alex?
Princess Alex : If... If we weren't like this.
Harmony : You mean, as Elemental Masters?
Princess Alex : No, I mean if we were at Peace... fighting and all of this, is something I don't want, and while that's how I was saved, and was given a real life, I still feel like there's something missing.
Eric : You mean, if we were never fighting villains at our age?
Princess Alex : Somehow, It seems that Mentally, our ages are more than how old we really are, compared to other kids at our age, but Physically, we're still little kids, who just want to find Peace... Isn't what my Mommy wanted?
Harmony : But your past is nothing like Akita's, don't compare yourself to her.
Princess Alex : I just want all of this fighting to end, what's the point of us having our Childhood, if at some point in all of this fighting, we may have to just give it away.
Eric : It won't come to that Alex, and we'll make sure of it, once this is over, we may finally be able to have peace, and get our normal lives back.
Princess Alex : What about Master Wu?
Eric : What about him?
Princess Alex : Saying our Parents were all lazy because they tried to enjoy Peace, wouldn't he or Lloyd do the same?
Lloyd : No Alex, I wouldn't.
The three of them saw Lloyd come over, and he sat down next to them.
Lloyd : I'm different from my uncle, and when you guys find the Peace you're looking for, you'll get it, and I won't do anything to ruin that for you, you're little kids, you guys still have your time to be young, and when I did it wasn't a bad place to be, so you shouldn't think of it that way, you guys find your Peace, and you'll enjoy it, because I don't want you kids to feel the need to give up your Childhood, just because I gave up my own.
Princess Alex : Thank you.
Alex stood up and hugged her uncle, and Lloyd returned the hug, before Alex walked away.
Eric : There's some things about Alex I'll never understand.
Lloyd : I'm sure none of us will truly understand her Eric, but hey, she said she got her Memories back, and she'll tell us about her past, when the time comes.
Meanwhile in Ninjago City. . .
Lydia was standing on the Rooftop of the Warehouse, and she was looking down at the Colossus, in front of Borg Tower. . .
Everybody was wearing their normal clothes again, and Skylor, Charlie, Killow, Nya, Mystake, and Dareth were on the roof with Lydia.
Nya : Lydia, you're wearing Gold again.
Princess Lydia : My Mommy gave me a lot to think about, about how this will end.
Nya looked at Dareth curiously and Skylor spoke.
Skylor : And?
Princess Lydia : Ultraviolet said I was unable to change, but Mystake said to defeat what covers my Grandfather's heart, I would have to change... well I'm ready.
Charlie : Ready for what?
Princess Lydia : I have to be ready to accept, that I may never get my Power back.
Nya : Lydia. . .
Princess Lydia : It's Okay, I'm not afraid anymore, and besides like I said, my Power never came from my hands, it came from inside here.
Lydia put her hand to her heart, and the others kept listening to her.
Princess Lydia : True Power is never Lost, it's only given away when we think we don't have any, you told me that.
Lydia looked at Mystake and she giggled.
Mystake : Wise Words, I should really talk to you more often, Lydia.
Lydia then turned around and looked at the Colossus again, and the others stood beside her.
Nya : Lydia, if you go after your Grandfather... We've seen what that thing can do, we barely escaped from it last time.
Mystake : Lydia's Words, to her Grandfather at The Temple of Resurrection, were the same words she gave to him in her own Mind, that's what let Garmadon see the light to take control and spare you all, because she is the one thing that can allow Garmadon to see the light, and she's being doing that with every word she says to him.
Princess Lydia : Besides, we don't need to Cower from it, and I say we don't need to run from it.
Nya : Why?
Lydia turned around and smiled mischievously as she punched her fist into her left hand.
Princess Lydia : Because we're gonna Steal it!
Dareth : But it's controlled by your Grandfather's Power.
Charlie : Power... That I can absorb!
Lydia nodded at Charlie, but he realized something
Charlie : But I can only borrow Garmadon's Power if I touch him.
Skylor : Just how are we supposed to get Charlie up there without Garmadon knowing our plan?
Princess Lydia : He'll be a Prisoner, and my Mommy will take Charlie to him, if Mystake can turn into a Rat, can she turn into a Mole?
Dareth : Oh, you're gonna have Mystake be your Mother... Impressive.
Killow : Yea, if Ultraviolet or Harumi themselves aren't at the Tower when this happens.
Princess Lydia : A few of you will make sure they don't escape.
Nya : Who needs an Army, when you have an Army of One. . .
20 Minutes Later. . .
Harumi and Ultraviolet were still tied up, and Lydia, Dareth, Killow, Nya, Skylor, Charlie, Richard, Misako, and Alizah were in there.
Harumi raised her head and seemed to have an annoyed look at Lydia.
Princess Lydia : Mommy.
Harumi : Yes, Lydia?
Princess Lydia : I would like you to meet, Harumi!
Dareth and Misako opened the door, and it Mystake posing as Harumi.
Harumi : You think you can pass as Me, nothing's beneath you!
Princess Lydia : But it's not Me, now is it?
Mystake then tried repeating Harumi's sentence, but instead the kids laughed.
Richard : Mystake, I think your voice may give you away.
Mystake then coughed and put her head up and spoke again, but in Harumi's voice.
Dareth : Hey, that's pretty good.
Killow : But is it good enough?
Ultraviolet : Nothing's good enough for you, Traitor!
Killow : Oh, shut up.
Harumi : You'll never get away with this!
Lydia saw the concerned tone in Harumi's Voice, telling her it was a bad idea, before Nya ran up to Harumi and gagged her.
Nya : How about you be quiet, Quiet One, it's time for you to face the Corner.
Nya walked away before Lydia shook her head.
Princess Lydia : Stop it.
Lydia walked over and took the gag of Harumi's Mouth.
Harumi : Lydia... don't do this, It's not going to end well for any of us.
Princess Lydia : As If I have a choice, we haven't got word that it's safe for us to leave Ninjago City yet, and I say it's time for us all to fight back.
Lydia kissed her mother's cheek, and then walked away.
Just as Killow gagged Ultraviolet.
Princess Lydia : Remember, we just need to get Charlie close enough for him to touch my Grandfather, once he can absorb his power to control the Colossus, get outta there.
"Harumi" then tied up Charlie with a rope behind his hands.
Charlie still had his smile, and he looked at Lydia.
Charlie : You sure you're okay staying back, Liddy?
Princess Lydia : I'm only gonna be be okay once all of this is over.
Mystake then walked away with Charlie, hoping to bring him in to Garmadon, since Marco and Chopper still had their covers, they were waiting to help them at any cost.
Dareth : For the first time, I feel like this could work.
Princess Lydia : Me too, but I don't want to get ahead of myself.
Just then the door closed, and Killow left with Mystake and Charlie. . .
Lydia then looked at Harumi and Nya and she had Nya and Skylor put her hair in a bun again.
Princess Lydia : You still think Charlie will go for a Princess?
Nya : I think so Lydia, but like I said, give it some time. . .
Nightfall at Borg Tower. . .
Killow was at the front entrance to the Tower, since Ultraviolet was the only one who knew of Killow's Betrayal, and she wasn't there.
Killow : Ah, There you are, I was starting to get worried, it appears our stunt did the trick.
Mystake : I couldn't get Lydia, but I got the next best thing.
Killow then walked inside and followed them to the roof. . .
Chopper Maroon, Sawyer, Nails, and Marco were up there already, and Killow and "Harumi" walked up, and she forced Charlie to his knees, with his hands still tied behind his back.
Mystake : My Emperor, I present you with Charlie, The Amber Ninja, Grandson of your Sensei, Master Chen, The Elemental Master of Amber, and The Son of Skylor.
"Harumi" put her hands on her hips, and smiled at the scene, with Killow having his arms crossed ( Killow was now wearing a black jacket, orange shirt, and he still has his orange belt, and black shorts that the black skull knee-pads, and the black shoes. )
Charlie : I don't care about whatever you do to Me, my Mother and the rest of the Resistance will Fight On, and I will never give you Liddy's location!
Garmadon chuckled a small bit at what Charlie had said.
Garmadon : Liddy?
Charlie : Do not dare to Judge or Question, The Gold Princess, she permitted me to call her by her own name, but you, she's chosen not too.
Sawyer : Careful my Dark Excellence, Harumi forgot to add, he has the Power to absorb, don't get too close.
Garmadon : Absorb?!
Mystake : He is well aware of this Young Man's Powers, but you insubordination doesn't go unnoticed Sawyer!
Killow : Sometimes I wonder why I let him in to begin with.
Garmadon : Curious, you didn't tell me that, for my advisor to leave that out is, ill advised.
Charlie : So is your Love for the Princess.
Garmadon : What was that?!
Charlie : You heard Me, you know it yourself Garmadon, that you still care for Lydia, no matter how much your Oni side tries to bury it beneath you.
Nails : I'd rather get thrown off this roof than to listen to your Lies!
Killow : Enough!
The Four of them ( Chopper Maroon, Marco, Nails, and Sawyer ) backed away.
Mystake : My Lord, I've proven my allegiance time and time again, for you to doubt my abilities-
Person : Is What?!
Everybody turned around to see Harumi standing next to Killow.
Harumi : Two Faced?!
Charlie : Well this just got a lot better.
Chopper Maroon : Zip it, Redhead.
Harumi : That isn't me Emperor Garmadon!
Mystake : You're the Imposter, Arrest her!
Garmadon : Let, her, speak!
Charlie : What good will come of that, and If I may ask, what happened to Sweet ol' Ultraviolet?
Charlie : Wow that was hard to say.
Harumi : That is Mystake, the Shape-shifting Oni, that I was telling you about.
Charlie : What does that Make you?
Harumi : You're pushing your luck, Skylor's son.
Harumi : Mystake here tried to get The Master of Amber close enough to touch you, so that the Resistance could turn your power against us.
Charlie : Oh, Harumi... It does't even take close to that much, seeing how much your daughter's Creative Power, and her own Wisdom has gotten into the real part of Garmadon's Heart.
Nails : I said shut up!
Killow : No... Charlie, what does that Mean?
Charlie : Lydia's Creative Powers at Kryptarium, and ever wise word she has said to Garmadon has helped him and his true self break free of the dark shell and ground his Oni Form has thought to have buried beneath him, and she's been doing so to save Garmadon, because she's his granddaughter, and she doesn't want to hurt him, she has the same goals that Lloyd once had, only she's doing it right this time, and he knows it!
Charlie broke free of the Ropes, just as Sawyer pinned him down, and Killow grabbed Mystake.
Garmadon : Well done, Harumi... It's good to have you in back, my Daughter In-Law.
Harumi : The pleasure was all mine, Emperor.
Garmadon : I thought I smelled an Oni.
Charlie : First it was Sensing, now it's Smelling, make up your mind!
The bikers actually laughed at Charlie's joke, and so did Harumi, but she nodded at Charlie and took a step back.
Garmadon : Looks like your plan backfired.
Charlie : Yea, remember that for when your Twins come knocking at the Tower's Front Door.
Mystake : The only thing that backfired was you turning against your Father's Realm-
Charlie : Twice.
Mystake : Ninjago is a Place of Light, and you are a Source of Shadow.
Garmadon : You know it all turns to Darkness.
Mystake : The Future is in The First Spinjitzu Master's Great-Granddaughter's Hands.
Garmadon : Show me Oni, show me your real Face, or are you worried what your friends might think of you!
Mystake : Maybe I'll show you-
Mystake let out a wrenching scream and Killow dropped her, she turned to a black shadow, and revealed her Oni Form.
Charlie : Well, she's still not as Ugly as you.
Mystake : Only for you to see what a Full-Blooded Oni can do!
Mystake charged and threw Garmadon into his throne, and he blasted her back.
Charlie then kicked Sawyer off of him, and watched, as Mystake approached Garmadon for Harumi to jump on her, but Mystake threw her off, and she landed on her back.
Her face told Chopper and Marco to stay back and get ready to make an escape, and they did, as they stood near the edge of the rooftop.
Harumi : Don't let him touch the Emperor!
Killow charged and grabbed Charlie, just as Mystake threw Garmadon off his throne and he grabbed her with his power and threw her into a rock, just as Charlie got free of Killow, and kicked him into Sawyer and Nails.
Harumi tackled Charlie, and Sawyer and Nails got up and tried to help subdue him.
Mystake got blasted by Garmadon, but she formed a staff and created a huge black cloud.
Harumi : My Emperor, Look out!
Garmadon saw "Charlie" and blasted him, only to reveal it was Mystake.
Mystake : Never Trust an Oni.
Just then somebody touched Garmadon's arm and it absorbed his power.
Charlie : Gotcha.
Harumi : Don't let him get away!
Charlie went to the stairs but saw Skip Vicious, he got stock at the edge of the rooftop.
Sawyer : It's Over!
Charlie jumped off the roof to land on a Hot-Air Balloon.
Harumi : Oh, Come On!
Killow then took Skip Vicious, Chopper Maroon, Marco, Sawyer, and Nails and ran downstairs, while Harumi remained on the roof with Garmadon and Mystake.
Garmadon : Surrender!
Mystake : Surrender, Never heard of It!
Mystake tried to hit Garmadon but he grabbed her staff.
Garmadon : That was your last mistake, Mystake.
Mystake : But it certainly, wasn't yours. . .
On The Street. . .
Charlie jumped off the balloon, and landed on the Fire Escape of a Building.
Killow : Charlie escaped, hunt him down!
Nails : What about the Old Woman?
Killow : Oh, we no longer have to worry about her!
Charlie : No. . .
Nails, Skip Vicious, and Sawyer got on their bikes and drove off, while Chopper Maroon, Marco, and Killow ran over to where Charlie was, as he got off the building.
Charlie : She's Gone?
Killow : We don't know for sure, but know Harumi's stuck up there for a while, we'll have to find another way to get her away from that Tower before we leave Ninjago City.
Charlie : Let's just go. . .
3 Hours Later. . .
It was Morning, and Killow, Chopper Maroon, and Marco entered first, then Charlie came in and shut the door.
Princess Lydia : Charlie!
Nya : Where's Mystake?
Charlie was rapidly breathing and he couldn't talk straight.
Dareth : She didn't... make it?
Charlie shook his head, and let a huge guilty look on his face.
Nya : Dang it!
Princess Lydia : Wait, Where's my Mommy?!
Killow : She's still at Borg Tower with Garmadon, she couldn't risk taking an escape, with all of the Generals on the rooftop at once, the others are looking for Charlie now, but we may have a chance to get her back before he finds out.
Misako : Did you touch him?
Charlie : Yes?
Princess Lydia : Can you control It?
Charlie : I don't know, I haven't tried.
Skylor : Well there's one way to find out. . .
5 Minutes Later. . .
Everybody was on the Rooftop, and they were waiting for Charlie to try using the Destructive Powers.
Charlie grunted and tried very hard to use the Power, but nothing was coming out of his hands, and then Suddenly, the Oni Titan started moving.
The others then started cheering.
Misako : Yes.
Nya : Charlie, you did it.
Charlie : That's, Not Me!
Lydia then saw Garmadon and Harumi on Borg Tower, but Harumi had a concerned look on her face.
Harumi : Come on, Charlie. . .
On the Warehouse Rooftop. . .
Nya : Garmadon's Controlling It!
Alizah : Lydia, talk to him!
Princess Lydia : You basic or something, I can't do that if he's using his Powers!
Nya : We have to Go!
Charlie was slowly started to fall to his knees, and Lydia held both of her hands on Charlie's arm and shoulder.
Princess Lydia : You can do this Charlie, take control, and break his hold.
Charlie : I... I can't!
Just then the Colossus was on the same street as the building.
Nya : We have to get out of here, you're Grandfather's too Powerful!
Misako, Dareth, and Alizah started backing away, but Lydia and Skylor stayed close to Charlie.
Princess Lydia : Control it Charlie, I have my faith in you, you fight his Power, and now it's yours... You can do it!
Garmadon was grunting and using his Powers, but Harumi was very concerned seeing Lydia stay close to Charlie.
Garmadon used The Oni Titan's Hand, and was about to smash them.
Charlie let out a wrenching cry, and a purple flash happened, and the Power was in his hand while he was still trying very hard
Charlie : I'm... doing it!
Princess Lydia : Yes, Now use it!
Garmadon was locked out of the Oni Titan's Control.
Ultraviolet : There on The Rooftop!
Charlie then stomped, and Ultraviolet was on the street as the other bikers ran off, and she tried using The Mask of Brutality ( However she got it )
Charlie : I wanted to do this for a Long Time!
Lydia smiled, and so did Charlie.
Charlie used The Oni Titan's Hand, and threw Ultraviolet away.
Charlie : Now that is a home run, Montgomery!
Lydia and Misako both laughed at what Charlie said and he looked at the other Bikers.
Skip Vicious used The Mask of Ferocity, and tried firing Flare Guns at the Oni Titan, which didn't work, and Charlie picked up three cars, and dropped them on Skip Vicious.
They fell on him, and the Mask of Ferocity came off, and when he grabbed it, it broke in half.
Skip Vicious : No!
Charlie laughed at seeing the Bikers fail, and he used it's Power and started walking the Titan towards Borg Tower.
Skylor : That's it Son, you can do it!
The Oni Titan kept walking towards the Tower, and Garmadon couldn't stop it.
Garmadon : No, No... Nooooooo!
Harumi let the look on her face get even more concerned as she took a step back.
Charlie : Yes!
The Oni Titan reached Borg Tower as Garmadon couldn't stop it, and it began climbing, and Harumi seemed very concerned, and was confused why she was still standing there.
Nya : Yea, woohoo!
The Tower kept moving as Garmadon used his Powers, but it still wasn't working.
Harumi : We must leave, it's not safe her anymore!
Garmadon : I do not flee, I control!
Harumi backed away, knowing Garmadon wouldn't listen, she ran off.
Garmadon's Powers still wouldn't work, and Charlie grunted as he used the Power to punch the rooftop of the Tower, and it made the very top of it collapse, and nearly crush Garmadon.
Garmadon : I am the Emperor, I am the Destructer, I'm in Control!
Garmadon was using his Powers, and Charlie started losing Control.
Nya : Something's wrong!
Skylor : Charlie?!
Skylor put her hands on Charlie's left arm and shoulder, and he was still trying to use Garmadon's Power, as The Oni Titan fell off the building.
Garmadon used his Powers, and took control again.
Garmadon : Yes!
The Oni Titan started walking back towards The Resistance, and they saw.
Princess Lydia : My Grandfather's Power, it's too strong!
Charlie : I can hold on!
Charlie screamed as he used the Powers to turn The Oni Titan, but Garmadon claimed to be In Control, and pushed harder.
Killow used his Phone and then sent a broadcast to the The Resistance in Polastraits. . .
In Polastraits. . .
The Broadcast turned on, and Montgomery, Lloyd, and Liv saw it, along with the others.
Lloyd : Harumi?!
Liv : What is This?
Montgomery : Mom!
Harumi landed on the Rooftop of a Building, but just as the did, The Colossus hit the side of it.
Harumi stood still and looked at the Rooftop where her daughter was. . .
Skylor tried to absorb the Power to keep Charlie from getting hurt, but it let out a blast and poisoned her, and knocked Charlie out, but just then, Lydia looked at the rooftop.
Empress Harumi : *Sigh* Lydia. . .
Princess Lydia : Mommy?!
The building slowly started to fall and Lydia watched.
Empress Harumi : I'm sorry, Sweetheart. . .
Princess Lydia : No. . .
The building fell with Harumi on top of it, and when it fell, Lydia let her anger and sadness out.
Princess Lydia : NOOOOOOOOO!
Lydia punched her fists against the wall of the rooftop, and looked at her Grandfather.
Princess Lydia : You're going to die, For That!
Nya : Harumi. . .
Misako : Oh my gosh. . .
Everybody was in shock that Lydia said that, and tears quickly formed in her eyes.
Garmadon : You want this city Lydia, then you can have it in Ruins!
In Polastraits. . .
Montgomery : NO!
Liv and Lloyd both let tears quickly form in there eyes, while Lloyd kneeled down and hugged his son, as he cried on his shoulder. . .
On The Rooftop. . .
Charlie was knocked out, and Skylor was "Awake" but her eyes were Purple. . .
Nya : I can't wake her up, it's like... his power Poisoned her.
Dareth : Whoa whoa whoa, Doctor of Dark Arts, should any of us really be making a diagnosis.
Princess Lydia : Nya's right, the only way to save her is to get My Grandfather's Power out of her.
Dareth : I don't know anything about that, but I do know there's trouble coming our way!
They saw the Oni Titan marching towards them, and Lydia let a serious look on her face. . .
"I can't believe my Mommy's gone, but apparently to the others, that's not important now, and what is, is getting me out of Ninjago City, but if she's really gone, or if she's barely alive from that building, then my Grandfather will pay the price, for killing her."
Next Time on The Masks of Garmadon : The Resistance in Polastraits prepares to bring down a Supply Train, The Sons of Garmadon are using for an attack on Frostown, and use it as an opportunity to contact The Rest of the Resistance in Ninjago City, and tell them to make an escape, just as they decide their right, and head to find Nya's Battle Wagon and leave Ninjago City, only to leave Lydia in Great Depression, since she saw Harumi "die", but just because she saw Harumi on the Rooftop, doesn't mean she saw her get crushed by it. . .
