The Masks of Garmadon
ItsYoGreenGirl : That's true that if necessary, the Resistance would fight, with or without their friends. Lydia has definitely had one of the biggest character developments over the course of the Stories, from Uncertainty and Doubt to Confidence and Determination, you're not wrong when you say she's become a Master, and Lydia only needing to be her, is something I've brought up a million times in the story as that being the only thing she wants, which is what made a reference to the "Final Battle" in the Season 2 Finale a big thing there I guess, and yea that's true, being at your lowest point to reach the best, Lydia truly went through it all in this story, and yea Lydia's continued to spark the flame inside of him, and keep it going until there's light all around her Grandfather, don't count out the Light in Garmadon yet.
Side Note : This may be the last Epilogue for now, since the last two aren't really connected to the story, but they'll still come, it'll just take longer with me writing other stories.
Epilogue 2 : The Oni of Light
Last Time on The Masks of Garmadon : Lydia went to see Charlie at his Apartment in Borg Tower, with Charlie thinking about no longer seeing any signs of Evil or Destruction, not knowing what to think, only for Lydia to show up, with him offering to let her stay with him, which she thinks about, for her to ask why he left his Family, and If she really did show Garmadon the light, with Charlie saying he wanted to be away from that sort of "Problem" when being a Ninja, and that while Lydia did step into the darkness, everybody has the possibility of doing so, not just her, and he tells her that there's also always a Possibility for one to come back to the Right Side as well, and if anybody could do it, it would be her and Garmadon, with Charlie also telling Lydia he'd be willing to listen to her anytime she wanted to talk, and made his move and kissed The Gold Princess, and she did the same, and told Charlie again that she loved him, and he said the same to her.

March 22nd - Monastery Courtyard
10:22 a.m.
Journal Entries : Princess Lydia
"Being The Gold Ninja... I will admit is a Dream Come True for me, since I had dreamed of wearing the Gold Ninja Suit, though I didn't expect to be standing alongside my Cousins and my Twin Brother on top of Borg Tower, with all four of us unlocking our true potentials at once, but I guess that just makes it an even more memorable moment, and since the Oni are coming, I have been in the Mood for training more as a Ninja, and that means wearing my Green and Gold Legacy Robes."
Right now Lydia and Montgomery were in the Courtyard on the Monastery, which was empty, except for Montgomery near the stairs, and Lydia near the door.
Montgomery was just standing there staring at Lydia, who had her hands on her hips, and she was smiling mischievously at her brother.
Lydia and Montgomery were both wearing their Legacy Robes ( Season 10 - March of the Oni ) and were training, Montgomery's Robes were exactly the same as Lloyd's, and Lydia's were the same Legacy Robes that Lloyd wore in Green and Gold ( Tales from The Monastery of Spinjitzu ).
Montgomery : I'm gonna guess you find it a Bonus that your robes are Green and Gold?
Princess Lydia : I love Green, is that a Problem?
Montgomery : Now, I'm not going to be taking it easy on you just because you're my Little Sister.
Princess Lydia : I wouldn't want you too Greenie, If you did go easy, so much for Full Potential if you wouldn't even use it.
Montgomery chuckled and smiled mischievously at Lydia, as she kept her hands on her hips, and smiled back.
Montgomery : Game On.
The Green Ninja pulled on his hood, and Lydia did the same, which was also Gold, but the tie around it was Green, and so were the four green "belts" around the Gold Dragons on the torso of Lydia's Robes, and the sash was also green, but the ties around her legs remained gold.
The Twins of Garmadon got in their fighting stances, were looking at each other from across the Monastery Courtyard.
Princess Lydia : And hey, wanna make this interesting, the Loser has to clean our room tonight.
Montgomery : Clean our room, major stakes "Master of Creation"!
Lydia playfully grunted underneath her hood, and stared at Montgomery.
Lloyd, Harumi, Misako, and Master Wu were watching the two of them in the Courtyard from the right side of the Monastery, and were curious.
Misako : This is very exciting, I wonder who's gonna win.
Lloyd : Shh, it's almost to a good part.
Montgomery : But you are on, Princess!
Montgomery formed Energy in his hands, and Lydia used Creation, and looked at her brother.
He fired at his little sister, but Lydia did a backflip and avoided the attack.
She chuckled at her brother, and then Lydia and Montgomery charged at each other, and were sparring near the gate.
The two were trading punches and did Spinjitzu but when the Tornadoes collided, it created a small explosion, and sent them to the opposite sides of the Courtyard, but Montgomery landed on his back, while Lydia landed perfectly fine.
She laughed, and then used her Powers, and so did her brother.
Princess Lydia : Creation!
Montgomery : Energy!
The powers collided, and it made a huge burst.
Montgomery was on the wall of the Monastery, but his arm was caught on the roof tiles, on the Courtyard Wall.
Princess Lydia : You okay up there?
Montgomery : Hilarious, Little Sis, can you just get me down?
Lydia climbed onto the wall and grabbed Montgomery's hand to try and get it lose, but as she did, he reached for his sister with his other arm, and pulled her down, and the force made him come off the roof.
The two landed on the ground in the Courtyard, and laughed.
Montgomery : Nice Going... you're getting better at it.
Princess Lydia : I hope so.
Montgomery helped Lydia stand up, and they removed their hoods, and she walked forward, hummed, and placed herself in her brother's arms, and hugged him.
Princess Lydia : I love you, Montgomery.
Montgomery : I love you too, Lydia.
The others came into the Courtyard, and the two broke away from their hug, and Lloyd's attention was drawn to the little girl, in the Green and Gold Robes, Green Eyes, and Green Lipstick.
Lloyd : Beat him again?
Princess Lydia : You could say that, and remember brother, you're cleaning our Room.
Montgomery : Ha ha, It's always about the bet isn't it?
Lydia winked at her brother, and raised her arms, and Lloyd wrapped his arms around his daughter, and carried her, and Harumi did the same with Montgomery.
Lloyd : Just remember when the time does come Lydia, don't think of it as a game, especially with the Oni.
Lydia got an idea in her head, as she saw Lloyd wearing his Sensei Robes, and the Thin Green Overcoat over them, again.
Princess Lydia : Yes, Sensei.
Lydia put her hands together and did a small bow, as Lloyd carried his daughter, and in return, he tickled her, and shook his head as he smiled.
Lloyd : Enough.
Princess Lydia : Daddy, you're more than just a Father to me, is that a Problem?
Lloyd : No, but when you start doing it like that any time I'm wearing my Sensei Robes, or you and your brother are training with each other, it gets old...
Montgomery : As Old as Great Uncle Wu?
Lloyd, Lydia, Misako, and Wu stared at Montgomery, who was being carried in Harumi's arms.
Montgomery : Too soon?
Misako : Yes.
Master Wu and Misako walked back inside, and Harumi let Montgomery walk inside the Monastery as well.
Just then, Lydia was having a thought, and she asked if she could meet her friends at The Destiny's Bounty, and Lloyd and Harumi said yes, and Lydia left, and used her Elemental Dragon.
Lloyd : I keep forgetting she can do that.
Empress Harumi : Why do keep looking interested then?
Lloyd : Because It reminds me of when I had my Golden Power, only Lydia's Power isn't Golden... It's Creative.
20 Minutes Later. . .
Since the Young Ninja still had The Formlings' Princess and The Amber's Grace, they left The Destiny's Bounty where it used to be, to keep using it as their clubhouse.
Xavier : So who called this meeting anyway?
Charlie : Lydia did, though she said it would take a few minutes for her to get here, she was at the Monastery.
Just then, there was a knock at the door.
Felicia : Password?
Princess Lydia : Ninja Never Quit.
Felicia unlocked the door, and Lydia came in, and the others saw her wearing her Golden Legacy Robes.
Felicia : The Golden Ninja is in the House.
Xavier : This is not a House, Felicia.
Richard : Xavier, we get it.
Lydia removed her hood, and everybody saw the green bow in her small ponytail, and she sat at the round table with the others.
Princess Lydia : Sorry, I was Training with my brother at the Monastery.
Nina : Still fixing the Palace?
Princess Lydia : Yea, It's gonna take a while.
Xavier : So Lydia, you called this "Meeting" of the Secret Ninjago Ninja Club, what's up?
Princess Lydia : I've been thinking about my Grandfather.
Nina : Garmadon?
Princess Lydia : The same.
Felicia : Why?
Princess Lydia : What he told me, my brother, and my cousins on top of Borg Tower a week back, he said something was Coming... but I don't know what, and he said when They come, nothing of Ninjago will be left.
Nina : Are you sure he's not just Tricking you.
Princess Lydia : No, of course not, my Grandfather may be Evil, but he's not an Idiot, he wouldn't say stuff like that if he didn't mean it.
Richard : I'm agreeing, and Garmadon's not the only villain to have done so, Charlie's Grandfather and my Dad are perfect examples.
Xavier : How So?
Richard : Because Chen warned us on the Island about Clouse and Eyezor's Mutiny, and it was true, and he helped us fight against them, and twenty years back, on the Day of the Departed, my Dad warned the Ninja about Master Yang to save Cole, they wouldn't have said those things if they didn't mean them, and what they said would happen, did happen.
Charlie : He's got a Point, you guys.
Nina : What do we do then, I don't see any way for us to "Prepare" for a "Darkness", what is it?
Princess Lydia : I don't know, I'm not exactly sure if my Grampa knows, but I think that's why he's scared, and while he admitted it to me that there is an old darkness even he is afraid of, that convinces me I should be scared too... whatever it is.
Felicia : Okay, but who says The Great and All Powerful Gold Ninja needs to be scared, especially if their power rivals Destruction.
Princess Lydia : Destruction also rivals Creation, Felicia... Despite what their Element is, they can always be used to do the opposite, Creation can lead to Destruction, and Destruction can lead to Creation, but that's not what I'm worried about.
Charlie : Liddy, then what is?
Princess Lydia : Not only is a new darkness coming, but so is an Ending.
Felicia : What's wrong with that?
Nina : Yea, Princess?
Princess Lydia : Because there is no such thing as an Ending.
Xavier : I don't follow.
Princess Lydia : Whether we want them to or not, they are Inevitable, Endings will always come, but so will another Beginning, because that's what Endings are, New Beginnings, with every become, just before had come an end, and there will be an end to the new beginning that came next, That's the thing with Endings and New Beginnings, they will always happen, and are Inevitable, which is why when it comes to Endings and New Beginnings, the only thing we can do, is Fight to make them Good Ones.
Charlie : Agreed.
Richard : Amen, Sister.
Princess Lydia : That's why when this threat comes, it will be an Ending and a New Beginning... For all of us.
Charlie : Is any of this about you and your Grampa at Borg Tower, Lydia?
Princess Lydia : Yes, I showed him the Light, I know that, but if he'll really stand beside us... beside Me, is something I need to know.
Nina : Was there anything else he said to you?
Princess Lydia : Yes, but sort of thing was Personal to me, my brother, and my cousins, not you guys.
Charlie : That's fair, Lydia... but if it's something you need to know, why don't you just go see him?
Princess Lydia : You mean at Kryptarium?
Felicia : Yea, why not?
Princess Lydia : You remember Last time that happened.
Lydia then told the others about what happened a year ago when Lloyd almost blasted Garmadon with his Powers, overreacting, and thinking he hurt Lydia.
Eric : Oh, yea.
Princess Lydia : Well, as long as I ask my Daddy, I'm sure it'll be fine, but I need you guys at the Monastery soon enough.
Xavier : Why?
Princess Lydia : Because like I said, my Grandfather's Reign was an Ending, and now it's a New Beginning... for all of us, as The Legacy Ninja.
Felicia : The what?
Richard : Now I'm Interested.
Princess Lydia : You'll see what I mean, meet me at the Monastery at Noon tomorrow, and bring your Parents.
Eric : Understood, not much is happening for us.
Charlie : Yea, we'll see you then Lydia.
The meeting then broke, and the kids left The Destiny's Bounty.
March 23rd - Monastery of Spinjitzu
11:57 a.m.
The Young Ninja were at The Monastery, along with the Formlings, with their Parents talking to each other in the Courtyard, while the kids were inside with Master Lloyd.
Lydia, Montgomery, Alizah, and Liam were wearing their Legacy Robes and the others were wearing their normal clothes, talking to Lloyd.
Lloyd : So, I think Lydia wanted to show you kids this, more than I did.
Felicia : What is it?
Lloyd walked them into the part of the Monastery where Master Wu usually kept his Scrolls, but there was a huge blank wall in between two of the shelves, and he pointed at it.
Lloyd : *Gasp* What Is That?!
Felicia : Uh, that would be a wall... Lloyd.
Lloyd : You are Correct, or are you?
Lydia giggled and smiled at Lloyd, and he saw something in her hair.
Princess Lydia : Daddy, what are you doing?
Lloyd : Fixing your Green Bow, in your Ponytail.
Princess Lydia : Oh, thank you.
Lydia still her hair the same way with her Princess and Civilian Outfits ( Minus The Gold Headpiece )
Lloyd : Now.
Lloyd used his Powers, and touched the wall, and it moved.
Felicia : What the?
Nina : Whoa.
Eric : Amazing.
Richard : Awesome.
The kids saw the space in the wall that moved, had revealed The Young Ninja's Legacy Robes. ( All of the Legacy Robes have the Golden Dragon on them )
Felicia, Nina, Eric, Montgomery, and Xavier's Robes were all exactly the same as their parents, with Eric's remaining Maroon and Azure, and Siddie's were the same as Cole's, except the accents were Pink instead of Brown and Orange.
Richard's Robes were the same style as Siddie's, except the color was Gray, and the Secondary Color ( Accents ) was Olive Green.
Alex's Robes were the same style as Eric's, except it was Light-Blue and Royal Yellow instead of Maroon and Azure.
Charlie's Robes were the same style as Felicia's, only they were Amber and the Secondary Color ( Accents ) was Orange.
Clayton's Robes were the same style as Nina's, except the color was Ivory ( Shade of White ) and the Secondary Color ( Accents ) was Bone ( Shade of White and Gray )
Via's Robes were the same style as Felicia's, only Vermilion and Carmine, which are darker shades of Red.
Zach's Robes were the same style as Montgomery's, only the Robes were Royal Yellow ( Which was about the same color as Sand ) and the Secondary Color was Yellow.
Lucas' Robes were the same style as Xavier's, except the ties around the legs, the sash, the sleeves, and the tie around the hood were Light Green, while the rest of the suit was Red.
For those who forgot, Alizah's Robes were the same style as Nya's, only they were Magenta and Fuchsia rather than Maroon and Azure. and the dragon was on the other way around, with the head of the dragon on the left side of the suit, and the tail on the right, with Eric and Alex's Suits being the other way.
All of the Young Ninja's Hoods are the Main Color and the Secondary Color ( Or Accents Color ) is the Tie around the top of the hood.
Lloyd : I think you kids are ready for The Legacy Robes.
Felicia : No way.
Nina : Awesome.
Lloyd : Hurry up though, your Parents are the ones who should see you kids with them.
Lloyd left the room and the Young Ninjas took The Legacy Robes, and did Spinjitzu and they were wearing them, and they left their normal clothes in the room.
Felicia : This is Incredible.
Eric : Not as "Out There" or Complex as the others, I like it.
Charlie : Me too.
Princess Lydia : Let's show the others.
Siddie : Yea.
Everybody walked outside of the room they were in and went towards the Courtyard.
Lloyd was near the door to the Courtyard, and he saw the kids come into the room.
Lloyd : That's more like it.
Felicia : Master, this is awesome!
Richard : Yea, the Legacy Robes are amazing.
Lloyd : Just wait until the others see them, wait until I give the signal.
The kids nodded and pulled on their hoods, and watched Lloyd walk out into the Courtyard.
Lloyd : Hey guys.
Kai : Hey, Lloyd.
Jay : Where are the kids?
Lloyd : You'll see.
Liv : Alright little brother, what's going on?
Lloyd then whistled, and the kids all came out the door doing Spinjitzu, just as Lloyd got out of the way.
Young Ninja : Ninja-Go!
The kids were then in a straight line when they stopped doing Spinjitzu, and they were all wearing The Legacy Robes.
The Young Ninja removed their hoods, and they all smiled at their Parents as they looked at them, and moved around, and showed them the Legacy Robes.
Felicia : Cool, right?
Kai : Lloyd, you gave them the Legacy Robes?!
Lloyd : Yep.
Charlie : Aren't they awesome?
Skylor : Very, now I know how I would've looked if I had one of them.
Queen Akita : Somehow, I don't see what sort of life Alex lives better, Princess or Ninja, she's gorgeous regardless.
Alex ran over to Akita, and jumped into her Mother's arms, and Akita kissed her daughter's cheek, and carried her in her arms.
Lloyd : The kids have done so much over the past year, It seemed like they earned The Legacy Robes.
Another thing that was different about the suits was on the back of them, instead of the first letter of the Elemental Power or their name on the back of the suit, it was their Spirit Animal.
Felicia, Nina, Xavier, Siddie, Montgomery, and Eric had the same Spirit Animals that their Parents did ( Lion, Octopus, Tiger, Gorilla, Dragon, and Phoenix ).
Side Note : The "Spirit Animals" were the symbols on the Training Suits, Stone Warrior Armor, Jungle Suits, Honor Robes, and the Fusion Armor ( They were also on the Destiny Robes from Season 6, but in an Airjitzu style )
The Formlings ( Zach, Lucas, Clayton, Via, and Alex ) had their Spirit Animals as their animal forms, Zach's was a Deer, Lucas' was a Red Panda ( only the color of it on the suit was Gold, same as the rest ) Clayton's was a Bear, Via's was a Phoenix, only hers has a flame on the top of it's head, and Alex's is an Arctic Fox.
Lydia shared the same Spirit Animal as her Brother, which was a Dragon.
Liam and Alizah shared the Spirit Animal and it was a Wyvern, which was a different kind of Dragon.
Master Wu : I know you will do well from this point forward, as their Master, Lloyd.
Lloyd : Thank you, Uncle.
Liv : So, is there anything else?
Lloyd : Not right now, No... I just wanted you guys to see the kids with The Legacy Robes.
Nya : Well, It was pretty cool, not gonna lie.
Kai : Yea, but most of us need to run anyway, so let's go kids.
The kids left with their parents, leaving Lydia, Montgomery, Lloyd, Harumi, Misako, and Wu at the Monastery.
Then Lydia got a thought in her mind about Garmadon, since she had the thought since yesterday, and she spoke to Lloyd, after Montgomery walked inside with Misako and Master Wu.
Princess Lydia : Daddy.
Lloyd : Yes, Lydia?
Princess Lydia : Will you take my to Kryptarium to see my Grandfather?
Lydia expected Lloyd or Harumi to look at her in shock, but they both just sat down on the stairs to the Living Room of the Monastery, and Lydia was standing in front of them.
Lloyd : Why do you want to go see him?
Princess Lydia : It was about last week, when I was on the Roof of Borg Tower, he said... Something was Coming, but that's not the only thing I wanted to talk about.
Empress Harumi : We can take you to see him, Lydia.
Lydia smiled and hugged her parents, and they decided that the next day they would take her.
March 24th - Kryptarium Prison
10:45 a.m.
Lloyd, Harumi, and Lydia went inside the Prison with Noble next to them.
Noble : Your Highnesses, are you sure about this?
Empress Harumi : We're sure, it was The Princess who wanted to see him.
Noble : Alright, then.
Noble opened the door to the Maximum Security Room and they saw Garmadon.
Lloyd and Harumi walked in with Lydia, and Noble closed the door and ran, and the traps turned on, but they didn't seem to care.
Lloyd pressed a button on the "Control Panel" near the door, and it made the Pathway appear.
The Gold Princess' Parents stayed as, and watched their daughter walk down as Lydia looked around and saw nothing but emptiness all around her, except for Garmadon's Cell.
Princess Lydia : Grampa.
Garmadon was reading a Magazine, and he stood up, and dropped it once he saw his Granddaughter.
Garmadon : If it isn't my Granddaughter, Lydia Garmadon.
Princess Lydia : Spare the title part of the Intro, it's not a strong suit for you.
Garmadon : Fair enough, what are you doing here?
Princess Lydia : I wanted to talk about The Oni's Rise. . .
Garmadon : Are they here?
Princess Lydia : No... but will it really happen?
Garmadon : I'm not sure Lydia, that's all I can say, but when they come, they will be a far greater test for you and your friends, than the Test you got from Me.
Princess Lydia : Grampa. . .
Garmadon : Yes?
Princess Lydia : Is there any way for me to show you to the Light, again?
Garmadon : Lydia, I don't know if that's possible.
Princess Lydia : If it was... Couldn't you show me how?
Garmadon saw Lydia still cared about him, way more than he thought, because she didn't want him to be Locked in a Cell in Kryptarium, but she knew that wasn't her choice, Lydia then opened the cage and walked closer to Garmadon.
Garmadon : It may be possible Lydia... but that's something you'll have to Figure out on your own, despite your True Potential, there is still so much more Creation, Wisdom, and Potential inside of you.
Princess Lydia : I know, but I don't know if I can really keep learning from any problem or mistake that I make without the one who's helped me learn the most from them.
Garmadon : Every boy and young girl has a choice to grow up to be whoever they want to be. But I never had that choice. Because I was bitten, and then Resurrected, evil runs through not just my veins, but my entire body, your Aunt felt she didn't have that choice because of the suffering I caused her, and your Father making her feel she wasn't needed, and it was because of the Great Devourer, that your Mother felt the same way, when she lost her parents... But you still have a choice. You don't need to be like me, Lydia, your Father has his plans for you when the time comes for you to make your choice over who you want to be, you don't need to ask Me, or anybody else in the family about who you are... because that's who you are, it's up to you to decided who you want to be.
Lydia smiled, and tears formed in her eyes, as Garmadon actually kneeled down, and Lydia threw herself into her Grandfather's arms, and he wrapped all four of his arms around his Granddaughter and hugged her, and she hugged him back.
Princess Lydia : I love you, Grampa.
Garmadon : I love you too, Lydia.
Lloyd smiled at seeing Garmadon's Moment with Lydia, proving that much like Mystake, Garmadon can see the Light and Peace in Ninjago, and the people within it.
Empress Harumi : The Morning Visiting Hours are just about over Lydia.
Princess Lydia : I need to go.
Garmadon : I understand, Lydia.
Garmadon backed into his Cell, and Lydia closed it.
Lydia walked back across the pathway to Lloyd and Harumi, and she jumped into Lloyd's arms, and he carried his daughter.
Lydia looked back at Garmadon and smiled, and a few tears left her eyes, and he smiled at her and nodded.
The three walked out of The Maximum Security Room, and the door closed behind them.
Lloyd : You okay, Lydia?
Princess Lydia : I will be, Daddy.
Empress Harumi : Well Lloyd, at least we know there's one person who can show your father the Light, whatever side he's on.
Lloyd : I know... and I'm glad it's my daughter.
Lydia kissed her father's cheek, and he hugged her, as he carried her in his arms, and the Royal Family left Kryptarium Prison, with Lydia knowing when the time Comes, her Grandfather will stand beside her.
Next Time on The Masks of Garmadon : Richard's 9th Birthday comes, and since Charlie is a good friend, he has Skylor help him set Richard's Party at the Noodle House, with the first sign of Darkness coming at the end of the day, with Garmadon calling for Lydia, to come to Kryptarium Prison.
