Welcome back to Luna's Eclipse! BackfireDuelist here, and I'll finally introduce you to my OC's first ever official Duel in this story. Exciting isn't it? Anyway, first I'll be doing the Sylvio v Yuya battle because it's kind of important. Anyway, without further ado, here is chapter 3!

I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V, only my character and the cards she uses. Any mention of other characters, shows and concepts are simply to help you understand the situation my character is in, nothing more, nothing less.

Chapter 3: Signing Up For You Show, And The Introduction Of Sylvio's Massive Ego

Thanks to the fact that I left early, I managed to arrive at the You Show Duel School before the crowd of potential students arrived. I managed to find a spot and watch as Yuya and Zuzu's Duel got underway. Sadly, as always, Yuya got completely destroyed by Zuzu after he tried to Pendulum Summon Monsters with a lower level then his Scale 4 Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. After the Duel, Yuya then explained the difference between Pendulum Cards and normal cards. I waited patiently as Tate encouraged Yuya to prove that Pendulum Summoning was real. After he enrolled, I decided to make my move.

"Excuse me." I said to Principle Boyle. "I would like to enrol at the You Show Duel School."

Everyone turned to look at me, and for a split second was surprised. It was probably because I looked similar to Zuzu. Honestly, I didn't find this reaction strange at all. Eventually, the Principle's eyes lit up with joy when he registered what I said.

"Of course you can enrol! I'll just get the papers for you to sign. Be back in a minute!"

He then rushed out of the room and to his office, probably going to dust off more tuition papers for me to sign, while also leaving me alone with the others, all of which were looking at me curiously.

"Excuse me," Zuzu asked, "but why do you look like me?"

I then looked back at her, my face looking confused. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Besides our facial features, neither of us look alike. I don't know why you are surprised that I look similar to you, after all, some people do look alike if you don't look close enough."

Now everyone in the room was surprised that I made such a logical answer to Zuzu's question. Now that they were paying close attention, they noticed the difference in hair colour and style compared to Zuzu's, as well as the colour of my eyes.

"Sorry about the wait." Mr Boyle said while entering the room. "It's just that we don't normally get people coming here to sign up for our school. Usually they would choose to attend LID for the best education."

"I don't mind." I responded. "I just recently arrived in Paradise City, so I decided that I should sign up for one of the schools. After Yuya's Duel with the Sledgehammer, I decided the best Duel School for me to attend would be here."

"I guess you're planning to learn how to Pendulum Summon." Said Yuya dejectedly.

"While watching your Duels against the Sledgehammer and against Zuzu, I noticed that while you have created Pendulum Summoning, you are still a long way from perfecting it." I said to him. "This means that you still have a lot to learn about the summoning technique that you have created, which means you will have to practice Pendulum Summoning until you are ready to use it in any future Duels."

Yuya looked at me, surprised that I had spoken so bluntly about how much he didn't know about Pendulum Summoning. He smiled.

"I guess that settles it." He said. "It looks like I will have to train until I am ready to use Pendulum Summoning in my next Duel. Gong, would you like to help me?"

This question was directed to a tall muscular man with a pompadour who was watching as the conversation went on.

"Yes, Yuya." He answered. "Gong will do his best to help you."

After hearing this, I decided now was the time to point something out.

"I'm afraid that since I just arrived in the city, I haven't got a place to stay. Could I stay at one of your houses while I'm here?"

The only pink-haired girl in the room answered. "You could stay at my house. It would be nice to have someone else to talk to while I'm there."

I then smiled. "Thank you Zuzu, I would like that."

Eventually, everyone left for home, except for of course Principle Boyle, Yuya and Gong, the latter two still training to help Yuya master Pendulum Summoning. I stayed in the spare room at Zuzu's house, pondering what happened today. While I was there, I looked at my cards, and was somewhat surprised that my cards did not change, other than the fact that they were now animated. There were also some more cards in one of them. I also discovered I was quite a brilliant hacker, managing to not only get passed the firewalls of LID, but also not tripping any alarms and planting a program that would allow me to listen to any calls between other people. I consider this useful because it would allow me to listen to both halves of a conversation so I would know what they were saying without anyone knowing.

I also managed to find out where my new friends attended school, allowing me to visit them the next day. I also discovered a small microchip in one of my pockets, and when I inserted it into my Duel Disk, I discovered it allowed me to change the master rules to the Link format whenever I start a Duel. I consider this an advantage whenever I would have to face an opponent who uses swarming tactics from the Extra Deck. This also explains why I still have my Link Monsters in my Decks. I decided that this was enough investigating for one night, so I settled down into my new bed and went to sleep.

The next day I waited with Tate, Allie and Frederick outside Yuya and Zuzu's school. When we saw them, I noticed that Zuzu was angry with Yuya, probably because he fell asleep in math class.

The three kids caught the tomato-haired boy and pink-haired girl's attention by yelling out "Hurray for Yuya!" with me just standing there with my signature calm look on my face.

"What's up guys?" Greeted Yuya.

"Gong told us you finally Pendulum Summoned again." said Frederick.

"Is it really true?" asked Tate.

"You bet!" replied Yuya "I'll show you at the Duel School."

As Yuya turned to leave, three sticky darts flew out of nowhere and hit him directly in between his eyes.

"Triple Bullseye." Said Zuzu in amazement.

"Impressed?" Said a voice. "I assure you that was mere child's play."

I turned around and saw a boy wearing a white jacket over a grey shirt and red pants with formal brown shoes and a red tie around his neck. He had two toned blond hair and blue eyes and was holding a dart in his right hand. When I saw him, I immediately knew who he was. Afterall, who would forget the character with the biggest ego in the series.

"I could have done it blindfolded." He said with a smile.

"Uh, who are you?" asked Yuya.

"Me? Mealy one of your biggest fans." He said while shaking Yuya's hand. "To be precise, it's Sylvio. It's an honour."

"Oh, hi." Said Yuya.

"I caught the Duel with the Sledgehammer on tv. You were Tre magnifique. Allow me." He said, removing the three darts from Yuya's face, leaving three imprints where they were.

"Your new Pendulum Summoning technique took my breath away." He said. "And those cards you used, sorry what to you call them Yuya? Hmm?"

"You mean my Pendulum cards?" Asked Yuya.

"Precisely," he answered, "I would be interested in how you acquired them. Only the Duelist of the highest calibre could possibly possess such rare cards."

"There's no need to pump up his ego." Said Zuzu. "It's already about to burst as it is."

"Seriously, you are a sensational Duelist Yuya." Said Sylvio. As he said that, Yuya's face changed shape anime style at the complements.

"Hey Yuya," whispered Zuzu, "remember your promise to Tate. You're showing him and his friends how to Pendulum Summon."

As she said this, Yuya's face perked up in realisation.

"That's right!" Said Yuya. "I almost forgot!"

"If you're planning to demonstrate your Pendulum technique," said Sylvio, "then I have access to a most ideal venue. An hour from now, you can showcase your talents at the Leo Institute. You can take center stage on their center court."

"Ah! I thought that was for Leo students only!" Said Yuya.

"He can't Duel there!" Exclaimed Zuzu.

"I've already reserved a space." Said Sylvio. "I happen to be one of the school's top students. My father also expected the city's next mayor. So I definitely have influence with the school's higher ups."

"Letting Yuya Duel there is an amazing honour!" said Tate.

"Can we come along?" asked Allie.

"Pretty please, we'll be your best friends." Said Frederick.

The only suspicious people in the group were Zuzu and me, the pink-haired girl was unhappy about Dueling at another school, while I knew what Sylvio was planning, and was not deceived in the slightest

"Hrmm." Growled Zuzu. "I can't see why Yuya can't do his demo at our school."

"It should be a new experience." Said Frederick. "Plus I heard that the Leo Institute has a great snack bar. We've got to check it out!" I sweat-dropped at Frederick's second reason.

Tate and Allie then nodded in agreement with Frederick.

"Augh. Fine then." Said Zuzu "But I'm coming along too. As the only loyal student from You Show, I think I should check out our top competitor."

"You're all welcome to join us. And now au revoir."

We all started walking away at the same time I mumbled "Nice job, you smooth talking blond-haired buffoon." Sylvio heard me say something and looked at me.

"What was that?" He asked.

"Nothing." I said with a smile. "Just saying that it would be interesting to see how your Duel with Yuya would turn out."

Sylvio then shrugged as I walked away, not knowing that I knew what he was planning.

An hour later we were all standing outside the Leo Institute of Dueling. Outside waiting for us was Sylvio as he personally escorted us in.

"On behalf of my fellow students, welcome to the Leo Institute of Dueling." Welcomed Sylvio.

The others were amazed when the doors opened and they saw inside, and I couldn't blame them. The main atrium was massive with a holographic projector displaying the letters LID one on top each other. There was also a massive screen that was displaying monsters fighting each other and there were students everywhere, either waiting around, studying their cards to try and invent better strategies, or simply talking to each other. Through the windows, I could see Duels already in progress as various battles were fought. We continued to tour the building, coming up to the classrooms before Sylvio decided to continue talking about his school.

"As you probably know," He began, "the Institute is managed by the Leo Corporation; they've spared no expense to turn this school into one of the top Duelling Institutions."

We then passed a room full of students as they were each holding a weight in their right hands, yelling the word 'Draw!' repeatedly, mimicking drawing a card from their Deck.

"Yes," Sylvio continued, "we have only the best."

"This place produced lots of champions." Said Tate a-matter-of-factly.

"I know." Said Frederick. "That's why they're the top of the top."

"I heard that they have the best equipment here too!"

"Our faculty always says that 'If you want to achieve excellence, you must surround yourself with excellence.'" Quoted Sylvio.

"It's just like at You Show," said Allie, "but we surround ourselves with mediocrity."

Behind Allie, Zuzu had a blank look on her face as she sweat-dropped.

"I've heard that You Show's an… Okay school." Said Sylvio.

"Thanks for the complement. I guess your school's better at everything." Said Zuzu sarcastically.

"Ooh, not at everything." Said Frederick. "My mom says You Show is a lot cheaper."

Sylvio chuckled a bit at that remark.

"I've gotta admit." Said Yuya while looking at a poster. "This place has got a lot of thing our school can't offer. Their classes are unbelievable. You can learn Xyz Summoning, Synchro Summoning, whoa, they even teach Fusion Summoning."

As I looked at Yuya, I saw a blue-haired boy eating a lollypop walking past him. When Yuya mentioned Fusion Summoning, the boy turned around and looked at him. Then he turned back and kept walking ahead. I smiled, knowing that it wouldn't be the last time I would be seeing that kid.

"Yuya!" said Zuzu quietly catching our attention.

"The central Duelling Zone is this way." Finished Sylvio.

We then kept walking, following Sylvio's lead until we arrived at the place which will hold some of the greatest events in the ARC League Championships. Even I was surprised at the size of it, as I was only used to seeing it on a computer screen.

"This is the coolest Duelling Zone I ever saw." Exclaimed Frederick in amazement.

I looked ahead and saw Sylvio's lackeys heading this way, so I quickly and quietly headed back to the stands, taking my seat to watch the events unfold. I took out my Duel Disk and activated the listening function I programmed into it and waited.

I then saw Sylvio then take Yuya's Stargazer and Timegazer magicians from him and then reveal his true colours. After declaring that he was going to keep them, he then gave Yuya a Deck made of cards that he didn't want. At this point, I was not happy. It was bad enough that he stole Yuya's Pendulum Cards, but mistreating and abandoning his weaker cards like trash was just wrong. Then I remembered that this episode didn't show what happened after everyone left, which would give me the opportunity to punish Sylvio for his actions. What fun would that be.

During these events, Sylvio then got a call, which my Duel Disk picked up and listened to.

"Duelling wasn't part of the plan." Said the man on the other end. "You were ordered to retrieve the cards and bring them to us immediately."

Sylvio then laughed. "That was your plan. But my priorities are a little different, understand. I plan to keep these rare cards for myself."

"Do not try to deify us!" Said the man. "Report here immediately with the cards and-" suddenly the man was cut off, probably because he was listening to someone else on his side of the line. The line was cut off before I heard anything else, leaving Sylvio to Duel Yuya.

I then realised that my decision to sit in the stands was a good one, because then Sylvio's goons grabbed Zuzu and the kids, taking them to a certain spot on the field. Yuya then picked up the cards that Sylvio tossed to his feet and waited for the duel to begin, mentioning that it wasn't a fair trade.

"Now I'll select an Action Field." Declared Sylvio. "Hope your pals aren't scared of heights, because my choice of field will take them all SKY HIGH! I choose, Prison Tower of Darkville!"

"Augmented Reality Combat system energised." A voice said. "Generating Action Field."

The ground lit up, temporarily showing the Action Field generator below the floor. Then a city grew up from the ground and the sky turned dark. Zuzu and the kids screamed as chains appeared, then they were thrust up into the air as a tower for a bridge formed around and below them.

"It would be a waste to have a prison tower without prisoners, don't you think?" Asked Sylvio mockingly as the city shifted and formed around him and Yuya. The tomato-haired boy then ran towards the bridge, trying to get there before it fully forms. He was too late as the building he was standing on stopped growing and the tower grew to full height.

I watched as Yuya attached his red Duel Disk to his arm and activated it, transforming it into its full form and generating its hard-light blade as he thrust it down in front of him. Looking carefully, I saw Yuya slot Block Spider into his Deck, his Duel Disk shuffling it in.

"LETS DUEL!" The two opponents cried as the Action Cards dispersed across the field. I watched as Yuya summoned his Whip Snake and used it to swing across the field, then end his turn. Sylvio then drew his card then froze as a voice echoed out of our Duel Disks.

"No." The voice said. "It's not time for that card yet."

"Listen." Sylvio said. "I don't know who you are but don't interfere."

"You will obey me." The voice ordered, causing Sylvio's eyes to reduce to pinpricks as he froze with fear.

He had a split second of anger before he continued his turn, summoning his Lightning Hoverboard to his field, then he jumped onto it riding it after Yuya.

I cringed as I saw Yuya spotting an Action Card and picked it up, accidently activating the Trap's effect. Two groups of four eight balls rolled down the bridge towards Yuya as Sylvio yelled out "Rack 'Em Up, Break Shot!". The balls then ploughed into Yuya and Performapal Whip Snake, with the former jumping up onto the yellow one and the latter getting flattened. Whip Snake then lost 900 Attack Points, with Yuya losing his advantage in the Duel. Then I winced as Yuya then faceplanted into the brick wall of the tower. Above him, the tower shook as Zuzu and the kids screamed, with Frederick falling over and starting to slide down towards the edge. Out of nowhere, Zuzu's hands shot out, grabbing his legs. Sylvio's Lightning Hoverboard charged up and shot electricity at Yuya's Snake, with the latter running off to find an Action Card. I winced again as he activated the Trap that he could have avoided if he left it alone, because, unlike him, I knew that the field was littered with Action Traps, making Prison Tower of Darkville a very tricky field to Duel on.

Sylvio then called out the name of the Trap "Jump Shot!" and a massive ball flew out behind him and flattened Whip Snake, reducing its Attack Points to 400. The lightning then struck Whip Snake, destroying it and dealing Yuya 1000 Points of Damage, reducing his Life Points to 3000. Then the massive white ball headed for Yuya, narrowly missing him as he jumped away. The ball then rose to the same height as the pink-haired girl and the three kids saw it. I watched in partial amusement as I could see the massive pink question mark that appeared above their heads as the ball stopped ascending and started heading down, impacting the bridge hard, destroying the part that it landed on, snapping the stabilising strings holding it up and destroying the part between the tower and the part that Yuya was on. Yuya climbed up the onto the dock and looked up in fear for his friends trapped at the top of the tower. The tower started leaning, and I could see Zuzu now holding one of the chains of the tower with one hand, and holding Frederick's hand with the other while Tate and Allie held onto her.

As I watched, I saw Yuya summon his Performapal Skeeter Skimmer and rode it towards the tower. Sylvio then drew and activated Tribute Trade, allowing him to tribute his Lightning Hoverboard and add Stargazer Magician to his hand. I knew that he already had Timegazer Magician in his hand, so I knew what was going to happen next. Upon hearing Sylvio insult Yuya, I literally had to hold myself back from joining in on the Duel and setting my God Card on him. But I knew that would have to wait until after Yuya and the others left before I could do that.

"The first step is to set the Pendulum Cards." Said the man who was talking to Sylvio. "Do exactly as you're told." He ordered.

"You will start with Scale 1 Stargazer Magician," he instructed with Sylvio following his lead, "you will also use your Scale 8 Timegazer Magician! And next I'll set the Pendulum Scale."

Sylvio then placed the two cards into the Pendulum Zone, creating a Pendulum Scale similar to Yuya's, except there was no pendulum between both Monsters, just a pinprick of light where it would be.

"Pendulum Summon!" They both cried.

"Monsters emerge!" Chanted Sylvio. "Allow me to introduce, Power Dart Striker, along with its colleague, Rocket Dart Striker, and the most powerful of my trio, Ultimate Dart Striker."

Three Monsters appeared on Sylvio's field, the orange and blue ones being male, while the red and pink one was female.

I looked at Yuya, noting the look of utter despair on his face after Sylvio apparently Pendulum Summoned on his first try.

"If he is that shocked that Sylvio did it," I thought to myself. "I wonder how he would feel if he found out that two of my Decks incorporate the method."

I looked around, noticing that the blue-haired boy from earlier had been watching the Duel the entire time. It kind of irritated me that he managed to sneak in without my notice. Then again, I was paying more attention to the Duel and Sylvio's phone calls than anything near the stands.

"Well done Sylvio." The man said to him. "Now take aim, and strike Yuya down."

After an egotistical speech, Sylvio ordered Powerdart Striker to attack Yuya's Skeeter Skimmer. Floating on the water, Yuya spotted an Action Card, however, he did not pick it up, probably remembering what happened every time he picked one up on this field. Instead, he used his Monster's ability to switch it to Defence Mode and deflect Power Dart's attack. After its attack failed, Sylvio chose to attack with Rocket Dart Striker, successfully destroying Skeeter Skimmer and sending Yuya flying into the river. Once Yuya surfaced again, Sylvio then commanded Ultimate Dart Striker to attack Yuya directly dealing Yuya 2400 Points of Damage, reducing his Life Points to 600. However, the attack did more damage to the tower as two stray darts hit it, causing it to shake even more. Sylvio then ended his turn, leaving Yuya a serious disadvantage. But I knew that he was not defeated, and was at that moment reflecting on the advice that his father told him.

Yuya then got off the ground and started laughing, much to the confusion of Sylvio. But behind the chuckles, I knew that Yuya had just upped his game, ready to take Sylvio down. With a yell of "It's SHOWTIME!" Yuya drew his next card, with bright pinpricks of light appearing, and I knew he drew Block Spider from his Deck to help him with his defence. He then summoned his Monster to his field, beginning to build up his defence. When Sylvio saw that, he openly insulted it by pointing out that it was weaker than his Monsters. Yuya then activated Block Spider's effect, shielding his monsters from any attacks. Sylvio, not realising Yuya's plan, pointed out that he did not any Monsters to protect on his field. However, Yuya activated a Spell in his hand, switching Block Spider to Defence Mode in order to activate the effect of Mimiclay, allowing Yuya to create an exact duplicate of his Spider, as well as its effects, making an unbreakable wall to protect himself. Yuya then placed two Face-Down cards and ending his turn. Seething with anger, Sylvio then drew a card from his Deck, and the man instructing him spoke from his Duel Disk.

"According to my analysis, those two magicians are currently Spell Cards." He said. "That may be the trick you need now."

"They're Spells?" Said Silvio. "They're not Monsters right now?" Then he smirked and started laughing. "Pendulum Cards are just as amazing as I am!" He gloated.

Sylvio then activated the Spell, Cricket Close, allowing him to negate two Spell Cards on his field in order to negate the effect of Mimiclay. Yuya then pointed out that Sylvio didn't have any Spell Cards on his field, only for Sylvio to correct him and explain that his Pendulum Cards were currently Spells. To counter, Yuya activated one of his Set cards, Draw Muscle. Yuya then drew Kaleidoscorp, adding it's 2300 Defence Points to Block Spider's own, making its Defence 2400, stronger than any of Sylvio's Monsters, as well as making Block Spider indestructible. In response, Sylvio activated Ultimate Dart Striker's ability, tributing Power Dart Striker and Rocket Dart Striker to increase its Attack Points to 3000. Sylvio then ordered his Monster to attack, and it unleashed a barrage of darts at Block Spider, destroying it. A massive explosion occurred, destabilising the tower even more causing Zuzu to drop Frederick, as well as loosing grip on the chain that she was using to keep herself from falling off. After the smoke cleared, Yuya activated the Trap Empty Fishing, cutting the damage in half, as well as adding Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician from Sylvio's field back to Yuya's hand, much to the boy's confusion. The holograms of the two magicians appeared, swiftly catching the falling boys and girls, and safely depositing them on the ground beside Yuya, disappearing with a final bow. Sylvio then threw the two cards to Yuya, who caught them, then used his Ultimate Dart Striker's ability to resummon Power Dart Striker and Rocket Dart Striker. After that, he ended his turn.

With a smile, Yuya then drew his card, and all the lights in the Action Field switched themselves off. Then a pair of spotlights focused on Yuya, who was somehow now standing on the remnants of the bridge. Yuya then set the Pendulum Scale with Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician, then Pendulum Summoned his Performapal Turntoad, Performapal Kaleidoscorp, and finally he summoned his Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. He then activated his Performapal Kaleidoscorp's special ability, allowing Odd-Eyes to attack each of Sylvio's Pendulum Summoned Monsters once. Two copies of Odd-Eyes appeared on the field, one red and one blue. They flew through the air as Yuya then attacked Ultimate Dart Striker with the red one as he quizzed everyone on Odd-Eyes' special ability, of which Tate answers that Odd-Eyes doubles the damage if it attacks a Monster whose Level is 5 or higher, and Ultimate Dart Striker was Level 7. Sylvio then gained a panicked look on his face as his Monster was destroyed, sending him flying through the air and landing in the river as his Life Points were reduced to 3800. Then Yuya attacked Rocket Dart Striker with his blue Odd-Eyes, destroying it and knocking a running Sylvio off his feet and reducing his Life Points to 2600. Yuya then attacked Power Dart Striker with Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, destroying it and sending Sylvio into a faceplant again, his Life Points now becoming 1200. Yuya then activated Turntoad's ability, switching Block Spider into Attack Mode, and gave Spider 1200 Attack Points. Then Yuya quizzed everyone on how many Life Points Sylvio would have if Block Spider attacked him, the answer of which was 0. Block Spider then attacked Sylvio and Yuya won the Duel.

After the field disappeared, Sylvio ordered his men to take Yuya's Pendulum Cards by force, of which all three of them was defeated by the blue-haired boy. After introducing himself, Zuzu asked how he took down those goons, and the boy said that he simply caught them by surprise. Then he introduced himself as Sora, asking Yuya to teach him how to Pendulum Summon.

After a while, the others started to leave, with me telling them that I would catch up with them later. Then I walked onto the field as Sylvio and his friends started to get up.

"What do you want?" asked Sylvio, glaring at me.

"Simple," I said. "I was watching your Duel with Yuya, as well as your actions before and after the it. And I have to admit, what you did was appalling."

Sylvio looked at me with a look that would kill. Then he smiled. "Obviously, you don't know who you're dealing with. I was simply learning how to Pendulum Summon, that's all."

"I find that extremely doubtful." I said, much to Silvio's surprise. "After close observation, you are just a spoiled brat that needs to be taught a lesson."

"What was that!" Sylvio said angrily. "When my father hears about this, you are so going to regret saying that!"

"Your father has no authority over me." I stated. "I do not work for him, and he has no authority when it becomes a matter between Duelists. What I saw you do was steal Yuya's Pendulum Cards, and when you lost the Duel, you tried to take them again by force. And what angers me the most was the way you treated the cards that you deem weaker than those which seem stronger. Just because a card is not rare and has fewer Attack Points doesn't mean it is useless. If you were a true Duelist, then you would know that you should never judge a card by appearances only. If you think you are truly a better Duelist than everyone else, then let us Duel, and we will see who is right."

As I spoke, Sylvio became angrier with each word. Finally, he had enough and equipped his Duel Disk.

"Fine then." He said. "I accept your challenge, and I will make you pay for your accusations."

"Good." I said. "But before we begin, I have a few conditions."

"Well then, what do you want." The blond-haired boy asked.

"First of all," I said, "no one can interfere or assist you in this Duel. That includes the people who helped you during your Duel with Yuya."

Back in the monitoring room, the two men watching Luna and Sylvio widened their eyes, surprised that the girl knew that they were talking to Sylvio.

"If Sylvio so much as gets a text from you," I continued, "I will know about it, and it will cause him to automatically forfeit."

The man in the chair narrowed his eyes, curious as to how Luna found out about what occurred during the Duel.

"Next, if I win, none of you will ever try to take Yuya's cards by force or trickery. If you do, I will know about it, and activate a failsafe virus I implanted into your network, wiping all data in its servers. And if you try to remove it, you will automatically activate it, doing my work for me. Finally, if you ever use my friends as hostages ever again, I promise I will find each and every last person responsible, and make them regret ever doing so for the rest of their lives."

As I listed each condition, Sylvio suddenly became nervous at the prospect of facing me, knowing that he was responsible for my final condition, and he was going to be the first one to face my wrath.

"Now that's out of the way, let us begin the Duel." I said. "I suggest we Duel on Prison Tower of Darkville, so you don't have any way to slip me up with an Action Card when we Duel. After all, I suspect that most of the cards on this field are Trap Cards."

As I spoke, the field underneath me started glowing, once more creating the city that Yuya and Sylvio Duelled on. I activated my Duel Disk, with it opening up and then generating a neon purple blade. Sylvio activated his green Disk, generating a neon green blade.

"LET'S DUEL!"

Luna – 4000

Sylvio – 4000

"I think that I should start this Duel." Said Sylvio. "And to do so, I will summon Mithra the Thunder Vassal to my field."

A female monster appeared on Sylvio's field. It was wearing a cross between a dress and armour, with a large piece attached to her back. Her hands sparked with electricity as she took her place in front of Sylvio.

ATK – 800 – DEF – 1000

"Next I set one card Face-Down and end my turn."

A single card appeared on the field for a second, then disappeared.

"Then I guess that I will be taking over now. I draw!" I said while drawing a card from my Deck. "By sending one card in my hand to the Graveyard, I can now Special Summon my Apprentice Illusion Magician to my field." I took one card in my hand and slid it into a slot on my Duel Disk above my blade and then placed the Monster onto my field. A young girl with tan skin and light blond hair appeared on my field wearing a purple dress-like robe, boots and pointed hat, while carrying a large wand with a spiked circle at the top that glowed with a pink light. She smiled and winked then landed on my field, staring down Sylvio's Monster with a determined expression.

ATK – 2000 – DEF – 1700

"When my Magician is summoned to my field, I can add the Dark Magician from my Deck to my hand!"

"SHE CAN DO WHAT!" Exclaimed Sylvio, shock evident on his face.

Inside the monitoring room, the man frowned.

"Very few people possess the Dark Magician card." He thought. "If she knows how to use it, she could be quite the powerful ally or enemy. I must recruit her if she truly is this powerful."

"Next I summon the Skilled Dark Magician."

A new Monster appeared on my field. It wore a dark robe and carried a staff with an orb with a triangle embedded in it set into the tip.

"Next, I attack your Vassal with my Apprentice Illusion Magician. Dark Illusion Attack!"

The Monster in question charged up a glow in her wand and unleashed it onto Mithra the Thunder Vassal, completely destroying it. The resulting explosion knocked Sylvio off his feet, wincing in pain.

Sylvio – 4000-2800

"Next, I attack you with my Dark Magician!"

The monster shot a sphere of purple and black energy at Sylvio. However, before it hit, he activated his Face-Down card.

"I activate the Trap, The First Monarch. When activated, it is summoned to my field as a Monster, then by discarding one card, I can choose its attribute. I summon it as a wind attribute Monster in Defence Position!"

A black throne appeared on his field, with a dimly lit figure sitting on it.

The First Monarch
LV – 6 – Attribute – Dark/Wind
DEF – 2400 – ATK – 1000

"I set one card Face-Down and end my turn." I watched as Sylvio slowly got up off of the ground and drew his card. As he looked at it, he smiled and started laughing.

"Looks like I'm going to take control of this Duel now. When I use The First Monarch as a tribute in a Tribute Summon, it counts as two Monsters. I tribute The First Monarch to summon Raiza the Storm Monarch!"

A tall Monster wearing green armour and a green cloak appeared on Sylvio's field, unleashing a massive blast of wind.

Raiza the Storm Monarch
LV – 6 – Attribute – Wind
Type – Winged Beast
ATK – 2400 – DEF – 1000

"When my Monarch is Tribute Summoned to my field," Sylvio gloated, "I can target one card on the field and place it on the top of the Deck. And the card I'm targeting is your Apprentice Illusion Magician."

The wind around Sylvio's Monster grew stronger and blew my Magician back it's card. I then took it off my Duel Disk's blade and placed it onto the top of my Deck.

"Next, I will attack your other Magician with my Monster!"

Sylvio's Monarch lifted a fist and thrust it at my Monster, destroying it.

Luna – 4000-3500

"I now end my turn. Your move, if you dare."

Unperturbed, I drew my card and placed it into my hand. Then, I touched the face-down card on my screen in a swiping motion and activated it.

"I activate my Trap, Magician Navigation." I declared. "I can now Special Summon one Dark Magician in my hand to my field, then I can summon one Level 7 or below Dark Spellcaster Monster in my Deck, I choose another Skilled Dark Magician."

Two Monsters appeared on my field. One was the Skilled Dark Magician, while the other was a man wearing purple magician robes and a pointed hat, all while carrying a staff with a green orb set into the tip, which grew around it and created a point.

Dark Magician
LV – 7 – Attribute – Dark
Type – Spellcaster
ATK – 2500 – DEF – 2100

"She-she summoned her Monster!" Cried Sylvio with fear evident on his face.

"Next, I discard my Magical Exemplar in order to resummon my Apprentice Illusion Magician."

The female magician reappeared on my field, sending a death glare at Sylvio.

"Next, I activate my Illusion Magician's ability once again, adding another Dark Magician to my hand."

"You have another one?!" Cried Sylvio with a pale face.

"Correct, but you won't survive long enough to see me play it." I declared. "Dark Magician! Attack with Dark Magic Attack."

The Dark Magician launched a sphere of magic at Raiza, destroying it.

Sylvio – 2800-2700

"Next, my Skilled Dark Magician attacks you directly!"

Sylvio was blown off his feet as the attack hit him, decreasing his Life Points even more.

Sylvio – 2700-800

"Apprentice Illusion Magician, finish him off. Illusion Magic Attack!"

Sylvio, who just got up, was blown away by the attack from my final Monster, completely eradicating his Life Points, leaving me the winner.

Sylvio – 800-0

Luna – Win

Sylvio lay on the ground groaning as I turned around and walked away.

"You're a pitiful excuse for a Duelist. And as for you," I addressed the two men watching me, "make sure that my conditions are met."

I left the Leo Institute, heading back home to Zuzu's place, I knew that I drew attention that I did not want to, but if I can join Declan's team, I would be able to keep a closer eye on them.

Back in the monitoring room

The two men watched Luna leave after she defeated Sylvio, both surprised at the ease that she defeated him with.

"Sir," the one standing addressed the other, "would you like me to begin the search and removal of the virus implanted in the system."

"No." The other man answered. "You heard what she said. If we try to remove it, it would only activate the virus."

"Then shall I send a team of LID's elite to apprehend the girl."

"I doubt that trying to catch her will work." The seated man answered. "This girl defeated Sylvio in four turns. Not even Yuya was able to do that. This means that Luna is a highly trained Duelist, so any attempt to apprehend her would possibly make her an enemy, and would still end with her still walking free after defeating multiple members of our elite. Very few people are capable of such a task, making her all the more dangerous."

"Does this mean she's an enemy."

"No. I believe that Luna must be a neutral party in these events. After all, before she was trying to keep off our radar, meaning that she never originally wanted part of this war. However, challenging Sylvio means that she might be considering taking part. We must be careful on how we go about this. Her conditions ensure the safety of Yuya's cards as well as his friends, meaning we would have to find a new approach to this situation. Claud, keep me informed of any developments, and try to find that virus, but do not under any circumstances remove it. If you do, all the plans that we have in store would be erased."

"Yes sir"

The man got up from his chair and headed to his office, deep in thought.

"Luna Midnight, who are you, and why are you here?"

Chapter 3: Done! Have you guessed who the unknown man is? Well, if you have, just put your answer into the comments section. And as for Luna, if any of you guessed it, or re-watched ARC-V again in order for you to figure it out, Luna is in fact a duplicate of the four bracelet girls. However, she is the only one to look identical to Ray. If you are wondering why, just wait till later. Anyway, the reason I had Luna defeat Sylvio so easily is because, well, he's Sylvio. That, and she had an axe to grind with him. As an excellent Duelist herself, Luna believes in treating the cards that she uses with respect and care. To see Sylvio treat the cards that he gave to Yuya like trash just because they weren't rare really triggered her. So she nuked him. As simple as that. The Deck she used is an altered Legendary Dragons of Atlantis Deck.

I hope you liked this chapter, so I'll see you soon!
