Welcome back to Luna's Eclipse! I have seen your reviews and am happy that they are so positive. Anyway, this story is mostly identical to the episode because I found nothing wrong with it, and enjoyed it a lot. So Luna'll take a more observer roll in this, just to see it properly unfold as it is in the series. I consider this paticular episode important because it leads to the whole LID v You Show Duels, so I didn't make any major changes. On with the chapter!
I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V, only my character and the cards she uses. Any mention of other characters, shows and concepts are simply to help you understand the situation my character is in, nothing more, nothing less.
Chapter 5: Xyz Surprises
"And now to break the ice and any chance you have at winning this Duel, Mobius the Frost Monarch, put the freeze on Power Dart Striker!"
A Monster seemingly made of blue-green crystal-like ice wearing armour and a cloak-like cape created a lance of ice around its right arm and used it to slice the orange Dart Striker in half destroying it. The speaker was a two-toned blond-haired boy, who stood there smirking arrogantly.
"It's not fair!" Said his opponent. "Your cards are so much better than mine!"
"Incorrect…" Said Sylvio, shaking a finger at him. "You weren't defeated by the cards in my Deck… You were defeated by… Everyone!" He snapped his fingers.
"Sylvio!" Said his lackeys, posing.
"That's me!" The blond-haired boy said, posing dramatically. "That's not to say I don't have sweet cards… I do, but what's even sweeter are my skills! Skills that pay the bills! And that give the thrills! So let's give it up for…"
"Sylvio!" The three boys said again.
"That's me! Now… Some might say… I have a really big ego… Well…"
"He sure does!" The boys said.
"It's true… But my Dueling talents are even bigger! So one more time with feeling! Go!"
"Sylvio!"
"Yeah, you got that right! And is there anyone out there that can beat me?"
"Yuya Sakaki and that girl." Said the green-haired boy.
"Whadaya mean Yuya Sakaki and that girl?" Sylvio shouted at them.
"All we mean, Sylvio," said the boys, reflecting back on the Duels, "is that Yuya did beat you in your last match… And that girl completely annihilated you when you Dueled her…"
"Because they had better cards, that's why! Their Decks were stacked against me from the get-go, I didn't stand a chance!"
"HUH?" The boys cried. "Yeah, don't you remember? You may be right about the girl, but before the Duel, you took Yuya's Pendulum Cards and gave him a Deck full of duds!"
"Oh, forget about that! I've changed my game. Mark my words… those two are all washed up!"
At You Show, Yuya washed his face, saying "Ahhh… Refreshing" while me and Zuzu stood to the side, waiting for our turn.
"Better than a marmalata bath!" Said Frederick.
"Sometimes I really wonder about you, Frederick." Sora said with a smile.
"Uh, Yuya…" Said Zuzu. "You think maybe we can head off now? I mean how long does it take to freshen up?"
As the pink-haired girl spoke, I felt a shiver run down my spine.
"It feels like someone is ticked off at me right now." I thought to myself. "Can't see why now. It just feels like a random time. Oh, great, now I'm starting to think I have a Pinkie Sense or something."
"Oh, a while longer…" Yuya answered Zuzu's question.
"We've been hear an hour!" Said the girl.
"I know it, Zuzu, but the smell of success doesn't come off easily!"
"Got that right… 'cause this is really starting to stink."
…
"Do me a favour Allie…" Said Zuzu as the three of us walked back to the Duel School. "The next time I have a craving for ice cream, remind me not to share it with everyone."
We all reflected back to when Zuzu suggested the idea, remembering when all the boys shouted "Ice cream! Ice cream! Ice cream!" as they all jumped up and down.
"I'm more worried about sharing Frederick's favourite flavour…" Responded Allie. "Seriously, pralines and currywurst?"
I shivered at the thought of it.
"I'm just glad that I ate mine before we left." I said.
We all stopped as we heard someone talking ahead of us.
"What is it." The red-haired girl asked.
"Shh!" Zuzu shushed Allie, allowing us to hear what they were saying.
"I mean, losing like that to a You Show student and that girl isn't something you get over too easily. I've never seen Sylvio so fired up!"
We looked up and I saw two boys, both wearing school uniforms, and carrying food walking on the footpath up the hill above us. It took a second, but I realised that they were two of the boys that were with Sylvio when Yuya and I Duelled him.
"You know it." The other one responded. "When he gets his hands on Yuya and that girl, it's not going to be pretty."
After hearing that, we realised that they were talking about Yuya, and unbeknownst to Zuzu and Allie, me as well.
"Oh, it's gonna be pretty all right-" the first one said, "pretty devastating for those two!"
"I guess when you put it that way!" They both laughed. Zuzu's face switched from shock to determination.
"Of course, it could get pretty devastating for us, too, if we're any later delivering Silvio's lunch." The second one said, with a little bit of fear creeping into his voice. The two then started running.
"This is bad!" Said Zuzu.
"Hey, wait for me!" Said Allie as Zuzu started running.
After a while, we ended up at the docks, not too far from the place I arrived in this world. We watched as the boys ran into warehouse 52 as we hid behind some crates.
"What are we doing here, Zuzu?" Asked Allie. "Shouldn't we go and warn Yuya?"
I looked at Zuzu, knowing what she was thinking.
"This could get dicey, Allie." She told the young girl. "Head on back to You Show."
"Wait but… Hey."
"I'll stay with Zuzu." I told her. "It's better if she had some backup. You head back and tell Yuya what's going on. We'll see you there."
Zuzu and I then both went to the door of the building. As I looked up, I noticed someone watching us. However, I made no indication that I saw them, knowing that telling Zuzu would spoil their dramatic entrance.
"Chew on this!" Said Zuzu, opening the door and scaring Sylvio just as he took a bite from the slice of pie he was holding.
"I heard what you were planning!" She said. As she walked into the room, I followed her, staying out of the way, letting Zuzu draw the four's attention. Then I took a leaf out of a book I read, if you want to stay hidden from the enemy, don't move, there is a chance that no one would notice you if you stay still. I watched as Zuzu continued talking. "How you're looking to get some payback on Yuya. Well, I'm not gonna let you!"
Sylvio then coughed, trying to clear his throat after nearly choking on his food.
"Can you at least let me eat my pie?" He asked.
"Seriously, Sylvio," said Zuzu, "you call that eating? Maybe you should try getting some in your mouth."
"Huh?" Sylvio said.
"She has a point." Said one of his lackeys, handing him a napkin.
"All right then…" He said after wiping his face. "What is it you were having such a hissy fit about?"
"You can forget your plans with Yuya!" Zuzu answered.
"You're in no position to give-"
"Duel me right here, right now instead!" Interrupted Zuzu.
"You can't be serious-" Sylvio started saying.
"What's wrong? Afraid you'll rack up another loss?"
"Will you please let me speak?!" Said Silvio, tired of being interrupted.
"Actions speak louder than words! So what's it gonna be? We on? Or are you too chicken?"
"I'm not chicken."
"No, you're right, you're not. Know why? Because that… Would be insulting to a chicken!" Zuzu then started clucking, mocking Sylvio even more.
"You're on, Zuzu." Said Sylvio, now even more ticked off at the girl.
As they were talking, one of the goons noticed me, and turned as white as a ghost and gulped. I then slowly put my figure to my lips, shushing him in a creepy manner with a demonic smile. I noticed one of the goons quietly walk behind Zuzu as she took out her Duel Disk and shut the door. I smiled even more at the goon as he realised that me and Zuzu weren't shut in there with them. The four of them were shut in there with me.
"Aw, what's wrong?" Asked Sylvio. "You look scared. Now which of us is chicken?"
"If we're going strictly by appearances, then it's still you," burned Zuzu, "'cause I've seen your bird brain abilities in action against Yuya."
"We'll see who's crying fowl when this is over!" Said I ticked off Sylvio. "Now let's get Dueling!"
We then heard screaming from the door and one of Sylvio's lackeys was knocked to the ground. We turned to the open door, seeing a man with black and purple hair, wearing a mask, goggles, and a ragged cloak standing silhouetted in the light of the sun streaming in. He then proceeded to walk in as to two still standing goons rushed to Sylvio's side.
"Aw, man…" The blond boy said. "Now what?"
"Hope I'm not interrupting." The newcomer said in a hoarse voice.
"And… you are?" Asked Zuzu.
"Someone on a very special mission." He said, looking at Sylvio. "A mission that I will complete no matter what."
"The Pink Lemon, the Eggplant and a Shaddoll user walk into a warehouse." I thought to myself. "That sounds like the beginning of either a funny or horrible joke. Then again, I'm the Shaddoll user in it, so I have no right to complain."
"Yeah, that's great and all…" Said Sylvio. "But can't you see we're in the middle of something? We're about to Duel!"
"Yes… We are." As he said this, the boy threw back the folds of his cloak, revealing a strangely designed purple and black Duel Disk with a round screen, and a body that resembled a cross between a rectangle and an oval, with what seemed to me a hanger to clip it to your belt on the rear of the Disk, with the cards inserted in the front. He swung it down in front of him, generating a neon purple hard light blade. The screen lit up, showing the words 'Stand by' as it loaded up the picture of the user's and opponent's fields.
"Never seen a Duel Disk like that…" Said a puzzled Sylvio. "Okay, so then I guess you'll be Dueling for Zuzu?"
"He most certainly will not be!" Said girl argued. "This is my battle to fight, and I fully plan on fighting it-"
Before Zuzu could place her Duel Disk on her arm, the newcomer stopped her.
"I've already put you through enough." He said to a confused Zuzu.
"All righty then…" Said Sylvio. "Let's do this, Mr Mystery. But once I win, you gotta remove that mask."
The man remained silent.
"I'll just go ahead and take your brooding silence as a yes." Sylvio then activated his Duel Disk. "Now then, ready or not…"
"LET'S DUEL!"
"Let's Duel."
Sylvio – 4000
Mr. Mystery – 4000
"I'll go first." The purple-black-haired man said.
"By all means." Said Sylvio.
"I place all five cards in my hand Face-Down." The five cards appeared on the field, much to the surprise of Zuzu and Sylvio, who both gasped in shock.
"I end my turn."
Sylvio stood there shuddering, then burst out laughing. "I love it, you show up all cool and mysterious and play a lame move like that?"
"He couldn't even summon a single Monster!" The green-haired goon said.
"I mean, seriously, no wonder this punk's wearing a mask! He's too embarrassed to show his face! C'mon, admit it, that's the reason!"
"Guess you'll have to beat me to find out." The stranger responded.
"Fine."
"I wouldn't be so quick to judge." I said.
"What do you mean?" Asked Zuzu, puzzled at my seriousness.
"There could be multiple reasons that he would place all his cards on the field." I responded. "Just because he had no Monsters to summon, doesn't mean he is without defences. A truly powerful Duelist doesn't need a strong Monster on his field to win a Duel. Instead, they can use any cards they have at their disposal in order to trip up the opponent and defeat them. After all, I once heard of a Duelist who summoned two of the strongest Monsters ever made with a similar strategy as we are seeing now."
"Seriously?!" Said the girl beside me. "So you're saying that this guy is that powerful?"
"I doubt that he has those particular cards, since they were hidden a long time ago. But I do know this, Sylvio is definitely in over his head."
"All right, then." Said Sylvio. "It's time to show you how it's done… My turn! DRAW!" He then placed the card he drew into his hand. "First, I think I'll take advantage of your Face-down cards… After all, since you have two or more cards in your Spell and Trap Card Zone, I can summon this chillin' villain straight from my hand! Introducing Escher the Frost Vassal!"
Escher the Frost Vassal
Level – 4 – Attribute – Water
Type – Aqua
ATK – 800 – DEF – 1000
"But I'm not done…" The boy said. "Now I'll tribute Escher for this cool customer! Make way for Mobius the Frost Monarch!"
Mobius the Frost Monarch
Level – 6 – Attribute – Water
Type – Aqua
ATK – 2400 – DEF – 1000
The green-blue ice Monster appeared on Sylvio's field, replacing Escher who was there just moments ago.
"All right!" One of Sylvio's goons cheered. "The Duel just started and Sylvio's already got a big time Monster out!"
"With a big time ability!" Sylvio continued. "You see, when Mobius is successfully summoned, I can select up to two Spell and Trap Cards on the field and freeze them out!"
The Monster unleashed a freezing wind at the two cards on the stranger's right, briefly flipping them face-up, revealing one of them to be a Spell and the other to be a Trap, and reducing them to golden sparks.
"And unfortunately for you," the boy continued, "I'm just getting started because next… I activate the Spell, Tribute Carnival! Now, since I've already successfully executed a Tribute Summon, I can Tribute Summon once again!"
"And here I always thought that carnivals were supposed to be fun…" Said Zuzu. "I gotta bad feeling about what's coming next…"
"You can say that again." I responded as Sylvio made his move.
"And you ought to!" The boy in question told Zuzu. "But, please… Don't take my word for it… See for yourself! Mobius the Frost Monarch, farewell!" He said as the Monster disappeared. "And now rise, Mobius the Mega Monarch!"
A massive Monster appeared on Sylvio's, bearing a resemblance to the first Mobius, but it possessed spikes on its knees, knuckles, forearms and shoulders, and it also had a huge arch on its back. As it appeared, it emitted a huge gust of icy wind.
Mobius the Mega Monarch
Level – 8 – Attribute – Water
Type – Aqua
ATK – 2800 – DEF – 1000
"I know what you're thinking…" Sylvio said arrogantly. "Shouldn't I have to Tribute Summon two Monsters to bring out someone as powerful and majestic as Mega Monarch? Nope, because since my Frost Monarch was Tribute Summoned himself… He was able to handle the job all by his lonesome."
"Uh-Oh!" Cried the three boys, earning a stern look from me.
"And it's only going to be getting worse for you," continued Sylvio, "because now Mobius the Mega Monarch's special ability activates! When he's successfully summoned, I get to select up to three Spell and Trap Cards on the field and then destroy them!"
"Nice!" Cried the dark violet-haired lackey. "Hurry up though! Those cards you're gonna destroy… They could still activate!"
"Actually," corrected Sylvio, "that's the best part, you see, since I tributed a Water Attribute Monster to summon Mega Monarch, those cards on the field… Can't do a thing! That is, except get snow blown to bits!"
Mobius then emitted a blast of icy air, revealing that the remaining Set cards were one Spell and two Traps. The three of us then felt the icy wind, with Zuzu and the stranger raising their arms to cover their faces, while I just stood there with my arms crossed, not even flinching. Because I am that cool.
"Hey…" Zuzu said. "I can actually feel the cold… But that can't be… Unless the action in this Duel is a lot more real than I thought!"
"This," I said, "is why I always wear a jacket. You never know when an icy wind blasts you in the face."
"Having second thoughts about this Duel now, Mr. Mystery?" Asked Sylvio mockingly. "You have no face-downs on the field and no Monsters to protect your precious Life Points. In the future, maybe you should let Zuzu fight her own battles."
"Look, as much as I hate to agree with Sylvio…" Said Zuzu. "He happens to have a point here. Why don't you just let me take over the-"
The stranger then stared Zuzu in the eye, shocking her into silence.
"I hate to interrupt your little moment…" The blond-haired boy said. "But we're in the middle of a Duel if you recall? And it was just getting good…"
The mysterious man returned his gaze to Sylvio just as he spoke.
"Mobius!" Sylvio ordered. "Attack Mr. Mystery directly! Maybe then he'll see my point!"
The spike on Mobius the Mega Monarch's shoulders, forearms, knees and head lengthened, ready to charge.
"I activate the Trap Card, The Phantom Knights of Shadow Veil from my Graveyard." The stranger suddenly said.
"He did WHAT?!" The goons shouted. "The Graveyard?" One said. "How can he do that?" Another asked.
"Yeah, if a card's in the Graveyard you can't use it unless-"
"Unless you trigger that cards effect like you just did by declaring a direct attack." The masked man finished. "Now since I have three of these cards in my Graveyard, I can summon three Monsters to the field!"
He then placed the three Trap Cards onto the blade of his Duel Disk, summoning the three cards as Monsters in Defence Position.
The Phantom Knights of Shadow Veil x 3
Level – 4 – Attribute – Dark
Type – Warrior/Trap
DEF – 300 – ATK – 0
The three Monsters that were summoned were three identical ghosts wearing ragged clothing and riding a black horse wearing old golden armour, and had ghostly fog streaming from the mane. Each Phantom Knight held a jiggered sword with a red blade.
"I think maybe we underestimated this guy." One of the goons said.
"Gee, ya think?" I thought to myself as he said that.
"I don't know what's more mysterious," said Zuzu, "who the man behind the mask is, or the way that he Duels."
"Fine." Said Sylvio. "So you've got three Monsters on the field, but it doesn't change a single thing! Do you wanna know why? 'Cause… They're not going to be there for long! Mobius the Mega Monarch! Attack that first Shadow Veil! Sleet Spike Smash!"
Mobius impacted the first Veil, the spikes piercing and then destroying it.
"When Shadow Veil is destroyed, it is banished instead of placed in the Graveyard." The stranger said.
"And that's what's gonna happen to 'em all! In due time, of course. But for now, I'll throw a face-down. And end my turn. You survived this round, but you won't survive this next one."
"That's right, you tell him, Sylvio." One of his lackeys said.
"I won't need to, I'm ending this now." Corrected the unnamed Duelist.
"Say what?" Asked Sylvio.
"If you don't believe me, just watch! And watch closely because there are better ways to learn the truth about someone than simply seeing their face. You can learn quite a bit more… By seeing the passion of their play."
"Passion of their play?" His opponent asked.
"What a complete loser!"
"That guy's too much!"
"I mean, seriously, who talks like that?"
"Someone who understands Dueling in a way you all never will." Answered the stranger. "Someone who Duels for more than just themselves. I Overlay my two Level 4 Phantom Knights in order to build the Overlay Network!"
As he said this, the stranger's two Monsters turned into purple streams of light as a galaxy-like portal opened up into the ground. they flew into it and released a burst of light, creating a new Monster, as the stranger chanted.
"It can't be!" Cried Sylvio.
"What is it?" Asked Zuzu.
"An Xyz Summon." I mentally answered Zuzu.
"It is like me." The man continued. "Cloaked in shadows and relentless in its objective. Only, its objective is to destroy! I Xyz Summon! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!"
A large dragon appeared on the field. It was coloured a shadowy purple black with an aqua underside. On its chest and legs was pitch black, with red circular outlines on the chest plate. Its wings were wide and spiked, with neon purple orbs set into them. Its head looked similar to Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, only this Monster possessed mandibles on its chin. It gave off a high-pitched roar as the smoke of its summoning dissipated.
Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon
Rank – 4 – Attribute – Dark
Type – Dragon
ATK – 2500 – DEF – 2000
Overlay Units – 2
Summoning Type – Xyz
"I can't believe what I'm seeing!" Cried a shocked Zuzu.
The Duelist stared down his opponent as Sylvio started clapping.
"Very impressive, Mr. Mystery," he said, "but this changes nothing. You see, a Monster is only as powerful as its Attack Points say it is. So you do the math. Your Rebellion Dragon has just 2500… And my Monster, Mobius the Mega Monarch has 2800! Rebellion Dragon is outmatched. Your Xyz Summon was a waste of time."
"I wouldn't be so confident if I were you, Sylvio." I thought.
"And your time is running out, Sylvio," the masked man said, "because you're wrong. An Xyz Monster's true power doesn't reside in its Attack Points, but in something else…"
"Fine, then, I'll go on and take the bait. Where is its power?"
"In its Overlay Units." The man answered. "By using one, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon's special ability activates! Now, until the end of this turn, the Attack Points of one Level 5 or above Monster on your field are cut in half! And then Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon gains that amount in its Attack Points."
As he said this, Dark Rebellion shot purple lightning from its wings surrounded Mobius the Mega Monarch with the lightning, halving its Attack Points.
Mobius the Mega Monarch
ATK – 2800 – 1400
Dark Rebellion
ATK – 2500 – 3900
"Oh no…" One of the goons said. "Now Mobius the Monarch is the one who's outmatched!"
"And Sylvio can't believe it!" Finished Zuzu.
"I can't believe it!" Cried Sylvio.
"Believe it." Said the man. "And I'm not done. I now use the remaining Overlay Unit and activate Dark Rebellion Dragon's special ability once again!"
"So he's doing the same thing… all over again?" Said a goon. "Not good!" They all said.
"Go Rebellion Dragon!" The man cried.
Mobius the Mega Monarch
ATK – 1400 – 700
Dark Rebellion
ATK – 3900 – 4600
"4600 Attack Points?!" Exclaimed Zuzu.
"I still can't believe this!" Said Sylvio.
"And now!" Continued the man. "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon will attack Mobius the Mega Monarch! Go Mauling Mandible Charge!"
Dark Rebellion's wings lit up, lifting itself into the air as it charged at Mobius, striking it down, and knocking Sylvio back. The man then protected Zuzu and I kept low to the ground. A small stone flew through the air and struck the stranger's goggles, cracking the left lens. The lights in the room burst and smoke escaped through the doors and the hole in the roof of the warehouse. After the smoke cleared, everyone on Sylvio's side of the field seemed to be knocked down, as fires seemed to burn in some places. Sylvio then started getting up as his Life Points started to go down.
Sylvio – 4000 – 100
"Whoa…" Said one of the goons as they started to get up. "Is it just me, or did that Dragon's attack kinda feel like it really just happened?"
"Yeah, like it was an Action Duel…" Another answered. "But there's no ARC system here!"
"I wanna go home." The last one said.
The stranger walked closer to Sylvio as he asked. "What's going on here? Who are you?!"
"I'll be the one asking the questions now." The man responded. He then held up a badge. "This badge is from the Leo Institute, is it not?" He asked. "What's your connection to Duel Academy?"
My eyes shot to him, intrigued at the question. "Duel Academy? It seems that the storyline is still going the correct course, even with me here."
"Duel Academy?" Asked a puzzled Sylvio. "Sorry, you lost me."
"Don't play dumb!" The man said.
"I'm not playing!" Said Sylvio. "Everyone who enrol in the Leo Institute has a badge like that! As for Duel Academy, I don't know what you're talking about. Is that a place? A thing? What?"
"You're of no use to me." The masked stranger said. He then turned around and started walking away.
"Nice try, but his Duel's not over yet!" The blond-haired boy said with a smile. "I play a Trap! Ice Rage! And this ought to make you angry, 'cause now the Monster that destroyed my Water Monster in battle goes bye-bye! And then you take damage to your Life Points equal to that Monster's Attack Points! They say that your greatest strength can sometimes be your greatest weakness, and in this case, I'd say they're right, because the numbers don't lie!" He then burst out laughing. "4600! That's the amount of damage you'll be taking to your Life Points!"
The man stopped walking. "No. It won't be." He said, shocking Sylvio.
"What?"
"I activate the Spell Phantom Spear from my Graveyard. Since you activated a Trap card, by banishing Phantom Spear, your Trap activation is negated, and the Trap destroyed! And then, you take 100 points of damage." He said much to Sylvio's shock.
"Wait, time out, hold on a sec, can't we talk about this? Maybe negotiate a truce?" He pleaded.
"No." The man answered. "You wanted to finish the Duel, so I'm finishing it."
The spear then launched itself at a screaming Sylvio, and then hit him, piecing his jacket and holding him to the wall, narrowly missing his stomach.
Sylvio – 100 – 0
Then all the cards on the field dissipated as the man continued to talk.
"And since you still seem to be blind as to who I am…" He said. He then took of his mask, revealing, to the shock of everyone except me, that his face was as identical to Yuya's as mine was to Zuzu's.
"Yuya?" Asked Zuzu.
"Huh?" Said Sylvio. "I think I need to sit down."
"Uh, that's falling down." One of his lackeys corrected him.
"Yeah…" Another said. "Now let's all fall back, way back!"
They then ran from the building as I waved at them as they left with a cheerful grin on my face.
"Yuya, I don't understand…" Zuzu said, "how'd you get here so fast? And why… are you dressed up in this disguise?"
Suddenly, Zuzu's bracelet started giving off a bright pink glow as I saw mine glowing faintly.
"What's happening?" She asked. The bracelet suddenly flashed brighter, blinding us for a brief second, and as we looked up, the boy was gone, leaving us both alone. I looked at my bracelet in puzzlement, wondering why it started to glow like that.
"Yuya?" Zuzu called out, wondering where the boy went. "Hello? Where'd you go?"
"Zuzu!" Called out a voice. We turned around, seeing Yuya standing in the doorway, clearly looking worn out from running.
"What in the-"
"There you are!" The tomato-haired boy said. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks to you. You were here."
"Uhh. What do you mean here?" Yuya asked in confusion. "Here when?"
"So strange… Was that Yuya?" Zuzu asked herself. "I just… don't know…"
"You feeling okay, Zuzu?" Yuya asked. "Maybe you oughta get some fresh air. It kinda smells like smoke in here. Of course, that's still an improvement over the smell of Frederick's pralines and currywurst ice cream! Ew-yuck!"
"Zuzu's just had a long day." I said. "I think it would be a good idea if we go home and rest. Right Zuzu?"
"Okay." She said distractedly.
As the three of us left the warehouse, I was left with one question. "Why did my bracelet start glowing when Zuzu's did?"
And there we go. I have now introduced Yuto and Dark Rebellion into the mix. As you may have noticed, Luna's bracelet started glowing just as Zuzu's did. But, I won't be revealing its true power yet. At least, not until the end of the ARC League Championship arc. Until then, I look foward to hearing from you all again soon! See ya!
