Hello everyone. I decided to do this chapter for fun, due to the fact there's been so much going on during the previous chapters. I hope you enjoy it.
I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V, only my character and the cards she uses. Any mention of other characters, shows and concepts are simply to help you understand the situation my character is in, nothing more, nothing less.
Chapter 11: Luna's Songs
All of us at You Show spent most of the remainder of our time training for the Championship, in my case, either meditating or studying my Decks for any possible strategies I could construct, when Yuya's mother, Yoko, offered to take us all out to celebrate. Intriguingly enough, she managed to book a karaoke room at a restaurant.
We all met up there as we were shown to our room. Of course, the others wanted to try their hand at some of the songs, but none of them could decide who should go first.
"How about we settle this with a Duel?" Asked Yuya enthusiastically.
"I don't think that it would be a good idea to summon our Monsters inside a confined space like this." I responded.
"How about we flip a coin, or play Paper, Scissors, Rock to decide?" Said Zuzu.
"Ooh, I got an idea." Said Sora. "How about Luna goes first and then she decides who goes next?"
Everyone then looked at me, with me getting slightly nervous under their gaze.
"Uh, no thank you, I'm perfectly fine just watching."
"Don't worry!" Sora said cheerfully, pushing me towards the stage. "You'll be great. Hey, tell ya what, you can sing three songs and you can sit back and watch the rest of us. Sound good?"
"Sounds like a deal with a demon." I then sighed. "Fine. But only three."
I stood on the stage as I held the microphone and selected the random button as music played. I immediately recognised the song as Another Chapter. Sighing, I began to sing as the words appeared.

This used to be a place for dreams,

I started speaking normally, though with a slightly old timey accent.
"So you came back to your old workplace, eh? Well, has Joey Drew, got a surprise, for you!"
I started singing again, only this time I was doing it sweetly, like I was acting.
"Looks like you have a date with an angel.
I've got things for you to do,
So don't test my patience,
You're a fly caught in my web,
Follow every word I said,
Even if it strikes you dead,
I will be beautiful again!"
I returned to my starting voice, singing the chorus again.

The music ended an everyone clapped.
"Wow, Luna!" Said Yuya. "I never knew you were such a good singer!"
"Neither did I." I said to myself. I then clicked on the random button again and was then met with the tune for Projections. "Here we go again."
"In the dark I see everything,
There's no place that I'd rather be.
This studio is such a strange place,
For ink is all I see.
Way back in history, you could say I was, very bright.
But now I'm drawn to the deepest darkness…

I then took a shaky breath and launched into the chorus.

At the end of the song, I was met with some more clapping from the others, obviously enjoying my performance.
"Okay Sora," I said, "this is the last one."
I gave the randomizer another try and the music for the third song came up.
"Seriously!? It's Me!? It's like the universe is messing with me today."
I shrugged and started singing.
"Welcome to your office,
Settle down an take a seat.
Please pay no attention to the terrifying screams.
You should heed the warnings of the voice that's on the phone.

I waited as the guitar solo played and then continued.
"Though we tried our best,
You seem to have beginner's luck.
We came so close, but we just couldn't make you one of us.

It's 6AM, you win!

The end music played as I finished singing. Everyone clapped as I sat down in my seat and looked at Sora.
"Hey, Sora." I said sweetly. "It's your turn now."
The boy gulped slightly as he realised that karma came back to bite him as he headed to the stage to choose the song he would be singing.
As the night wore on, everyone took their turn at singing as I watched them, knowing that this might be the last time we would be together just having fun like this. Better make the most of this while I can.
I enjoyed making this chapter due to how different it was from the others. It is more relaxed and I decided to put in three of my favourite songs. The version of It's Me is the one played on guitar. I recommend you listen to it, it sounds quite good. Anyway, next chapter we'll be kicking off the ARC League Championship with a bang. I hope you'll enjoy it!
