Comfort

D-Strux snapped the door shut and it slammed hard. Riley flinched, looking up from the book he was reading. Oh, no. He is home. Did I remember to clean the room? he asked himself as he quickly hid the book behind the couch.
"Riley! Where's dinner!" D-Strux yelled, roughly pulling out a chair and sitting down.
"On the stove, Dakota " Riley stuttered, slowly making his way to the kitchen.
D-Strux grunted as Riley placed a bowl of soup on the table in front of him. He didn't bother with one himself, he'd already eaten.
"Thanks, darling." He snarled, using that hurtful pet name he'd call him when he wanted something now.
He ate in silence after that, staring angrily at his bowl. Finally, he looked up at him with harsh black eyes that made Riley shudder in fear. "Now that I've finished eating, what do you say to going to the bar tonight?" The bigger person said, sounding more demanding than he was trying to be.
Riley shook his head. "I cannot, Dakota. I have your after-dinner dishes and the dryer just stopped so I have to finish the laundry," he replied. "But you should go out and have fun," he told D-Strux quickly when he stood up.
"Why weren't all these things done before I got home?" he snapped, throwing the chair to the floor.
"I had so much t-to do today, Dakota. I could not p-possibly get it a-all done within 12 hours," he stammered taking a few steps back.
"That's it," he grabbed him by his hair and pulled him outside. His yelps of pain managed to grab the attention of a rather large crowd. They came in closer as D-Strux threw him to the ground.
"You're place is out here, worthless bitch. I'm done with you and all your pathetic lies and excuses!" he yelled, then he went back inside and slammed the door shut again.
Tears welled up in Riley's eye and he curled up on the ground and cried. He waited for someone to help him, but no one did and for once his shell broke.
Riley jolted awake in a bed that wasn't his. For a moment, he panicked, thinking that his dream had come true and he was back with Dakota, then the person beside him shifted and yawned as he was brought back to the land of the living. "Rev?" asked the voice of Ty Richardson.
Riley Bell "Revvit" Victors sighed in relief. "I am okay, Ty," he tried to reassure the older male and himself, "It was just a nightmare."
Ty hummed and gently grabbed at his upper arm, pulling Revvit back to lay down next to him with his head on Ty's shoulder and his arms around Riley's waist. "Wanna talk about it?"
The blonde-with-green-tips haired boy sighed, having stopped trying to hide his fears from his boyfriend long ago, and let the tears flow. "It scared me more than anything. I was back with D-Strux again. You didn't come to help me this time."
"Well, that's a lie. I'll always come to help you," the ginger teen replied, pressing a kiss to the smaller's temple. "Now, go back to sleep. You have finals in the morning," he reminded Riley lightly.
Revvit sighed in relief and nodded. "Ok, thank you, Ty," he said softly.
Ty's sleepy response said he was already back in dreamland. Revvit smiled, then settled down to join him, breathing out a silent sigh of relief. Nightmare, he thought, Just a nightmare.
This stemmed from my idea that because Revvit was so afraid of D-Strux, D-Strux probably would've been abusive. D-Strux would've thrown Revvit out on the streets when he could keep up with all the expectations. Ty would've found him and taken him in. This is the result of that idea. I'll have the backstory up soon.
