Inside the Quinjet, everyone tunnels their eyes in the skies, avoiding the effects of fear, that could linger inside them, any moment. They hanged in air, to mourn the losses of friends they couldn't save. An example of proof how the Multiverse has transitioned into. Superman, for five years, was the last of their hope. He led the Justice League for decades, prioritised in the safekeeping of his comrades, and most importantly his family. In Linda's case, Superman was the best Uncle she could by the top point of all reverenced. With the latter dead, she hasn't said a word. Some anticipated Linda would go against a plan, like she was ordered to say behind, but instead she complied like a computer. Something Thea needs to allude on. Family has been a major subject for her to focus on. She was afflicted by the deaths of many of her family members. The death of Robert Queen by natural causes, which traumatised the Thea. Moira Queen's passing also from a natural cause. And just recent, the death of the brother he relied her life on the line, Oliver Queen, whom perished from two powerful sentient and fanatical beings. Oliver Queen was the last branch of the original Queen family. Three souls sent to the other world. Thea vowed she would look after Oliver's kids, even at the cost of her own life. But inside her, she's still hurt.
"Thea?", Roy called, snapping Thea back from her thoughts, as she swivelled to look at Roy. "You okay?".
Thea went back to keeping her head down, not bothered to answer, not much a exertion on Roy, as he doesn't blame her. They both saw White Canary and Superman's corpses. It was fair Thea had a spare of her own time. In fact, everyone should be entitled to their own space.
"I feel it too. The deaths of many. It was painful to bear. Specially the battles we've faced", said Roy.
Thea sighs, growing tired of having to unfold into a sort of counselling, which she never asked for. "Roy, I am fine. You should focus on your eyes on what's ahead of you. Otherwise you're probably going to get a random nut killed, which we don't want, said the latter.
Roy gazed at her, pondering in worrisome, before lifting his mouth. "Just wanna know if you're okay. Like really okay", latter requested.
"I'm fine", Thea said, turning head gaze elsewhere.
In William and Mia's part, the duo sat next to each other. Due to the seats arranged in shape how buses structure their insides. Not entirely similar though. But gave William the face to speak directly to.
"You don't seem so shocked of Superman's death, nor surprised", William remarks. "Care to enlighten me?", he reuqested.
Mia slowly whirls to William. "Uncle Kal-El was a man reckoned to die. He was what my mother aimed to be after, since the day my father died. I had so much hatred on him, that will never fade in vacant clacks", Mia said, shifting her eyes away from William, though keeping her face aligned in direction to William's. "My father was a great man. Star City only pushed him to the edge. Took his life, that convinced my mother to take him away, while though facing struggles in her world". Latter's went back to facing William's. "Least in all, the neat step was Diaz imprisoned into torture by none other than my mom. A perfect way to bash off the bat in treads of avenging".
"I too held that thirst, it was a factor that I never abroaded. Anatoly, SCPD, Prometheus, Diaz, even the FBI. They're the ones responsible for pushing dad away. Away from me. And the tight point for why I never met you", said William. "As time went on, I moved on, trying to seek a different approach, before reconciling with my dad".
"What's that supposed to mean?", Mia asked.
"Me and my dad weren't at best odds. Like I said. Mostly after typically suffering to learn both my Granddad and Grandma's passing. Blamed him for years. We never saw each other eye to eye, though my dad wanted to see me a lot of times, but his ego dominated the times he could've cherished to spend with me. That hate went on forever" William explained.
"Until our dad died"
"Until our dad died", William agreed, briefly nodding, before looking down. He, out of nowhere, blinked thoughts of a certain figure. "Mom and dad would do anything to be selfless. Most importantly was us, and Linda. I begin to wonder what you and Linda would become. A hybrid Super Arrow".
"I am not taking such dumb moniker like that. And I am not interested in being a vigilante. Those are father's old routes. My interest is getting the Waverider back in operation", Mia expressed.
"Yeah. Saving our parents from diving into a deeper depth, that's understandable", said William.
