Broome Lake
Quinjet finally reaches its destination, forced to land down in an area way distant from Area 51, to avoid eye-contact with species inhabiting that said place. Once succesfully landed, the resistance team headed over to a nearby rock, to conceal themselves in the visible eyes of flyers they've perceived, when they arrived in Broome Lake. Their jet is cloaked, ensuring the team of a less percent of worry. Other than flyers, they also see uninhibited trucks, and a large squared vault, as well as hundreds of other buildings. Whatever was inside it, couldn't escape from the eyes of Kryptonians, considering they're in Earth-1, where Earth never heard, or was never known of those particular species.
"We should have recruited Batman in this mission", said William.
"The ol' man isn't wearing his fancy tech", Roy reminded.
"Goddamn these Parademons. Kara was so certain to draw his Parademons to veil as guards, in case someone like us would access it", said Dinah.
William tilts to Mia's face, having a thought, in which Mia noticed.
"What?", Mia demands, with the scowl of bitten anger. She feels unsettled when she sees William's fabricated wow skin.
"You have Kryptonian powers; you can easily use your vision to zoom in who's in that big building over there", latter fingers Mia in direction to, whilst avoiding his eyes to be visible seen by Parademons, that have assembled an upper type of barrier.
"Are you sure she can?", Thea questions, to be 100% convinced.
"Of course she can", William retorted. "Area 51 shouldn't be made of lead. Earth-1's people had no knowledge of Kryptonians capable of using x-ray vision".
Mia simply gave a shrug, before she turned, adapting her eyes into use of x-ray vision, looking through the rock before her, in fast pace, zooming closely on all the techs, pieces, resources that the UN has kept classification. Looking over all the buildings, she's taken note of, she discerns aliens straddled on benches, from different buildings. She sees one building that's stacked with thousands of alien-related equipment, one of them she has known. Dominator technologies, green clearly-appeared rings, scripts of shaped-tombstones. Loads more, even Mia wouldn't exact that amount, but she finally found a ship, she recognised from a paper in Earth-38.
"Oh God", Mia exclaims in disbelief.
"What?", William asked.
Mia revolves to her left side, looking at William, Thea, Roy, Zoe, and Dinah.
"There are so many stuff inside", said Mia.
"Thought you were disheartened when you saw an apparent Sci-Fi horror network of Kryptonian mutations, like Doomsday", said William. Latter was told stories of it by Kara, regarding Superman's history. One of them involving his greatest fight with that monster, which led to his death, but eventually got resurrected. When he saw the look in Mia's face, it was otherwise for William. "Something wrong".
"This place isn't an abandoned facility. It's governed by my mother", said Mia, shocking her allies. "There is a Kryptonian spaceship. It's from Earth-38".
"How can you tell?", Zoe questioned.
"Because it's Zod's ship", Mia claims. It'd be impossible for Zod to land his ship in this Earth, in the light of a Superman never actually coming to this world. Mia has heard of Zod being one of the most feared enemies of Superman, that finally striven the latter to end his life.
"Who's Zod?", Thea inquires.
"One of Superman's former adversaries, prior to his fallen death, by my Uncle's hands", Mia answered. "I'm guessing mom wanted to store her goodies in several Area 51s of the multiverse. We don't need a Dominator ship, when we've got a better working conditioned ship, once manoeuvred and formerly owned by the late General Zod".
The chattering was put to a close as Roy instructs the team of their appointed tag-ins, to split themselves into teams, to avoid reduce chances of getting spotted. None of the team wanted to pair with Mia, aside from William and Thea, the latter whom is paired with Roy. Which left William to pair with Mia, which is actually out of his own free will.
With the team spreaded to different routes, William and Mia take on one route, crossing through multiple buildings. Mia directs her gaze at General Zod's ship, which was estimated half a mile. The duo soon realised Parademons were illuminating in skies, hovered over the point Mia and William are in. The two run into a nearby building, to take shelter, temporarily.
"Roy. Thea. Zoe. Dinah. We're sitting ducks under a shelter. Parademons above our heads", said William.
"Remain in there till we find you", Roy orders, from the comms.. "We'll find the pieces from the engine, you need-".
"You won't find it Roy!", Mia declares, shooting straight beside her brother, directing her gaze at William's comms. "Kryptonian tech is vastly complicated. Allow us to-". Mia shut herself up, as she and William limped in brief scare, as the lights suddenly turned on. Possibly when Mia accidentally stood a step that automates the building, they are in, to automatically turn on.
"What? Did Parademons discover you guys?", Roy questioned. Latter wasn't given an answer. "Mia?! Roy?!".
"Fucking disturbing. Christ hell. Worser than all the Outlast games, that heavily amplified the topic of pain", William remarks, seeing numerous cells. Each human hammering on bars, unable to get out. Each cell sliding down, in a wall-floored assembley of mutating humans into copies of what Mia and William. What latter duo have witnessed is the disturbing mutations. Blue vines crawling inside human skins, inside their mouths, inside their noses, even inside their eyeballs. Blood drips out of control, flowing down into puddles of dark-red mud. The vines slowly metamorphose into armours, resemblance to the ones Parademons wear. Mia hadn't noticed this as one of the buildings she couldn't cover, because of tons of buildings.
Mia motions close to William's comms.. "Something much worser. The birth of Parademons", Mia addresses. Latter then turns to William, whom stood in shock, never realistically seeing true blood before his eyes. "William we have to go". William didn't answer, which forced Mia to slightly raise her volume and tone. "William!". William snaps back, focusing on Mia.
"Yeah. Yeah. Right. Of course", said William.
The two progress to move out of the building, they're in.
"Roy. Aunt Thea. Zoe. Dinah", William calls on, by comms.. "Did you all make it?".
"Yes. We all are. Just awaiting your arrival", said Dinah, from comms..
Mia gestures into position, rendering in grabbing William, once the latter is ready to prepare his worst. William was, in short time, ready, rendering Mia to take ahold of William by her arms. The two blur forward, out of a door, Mia briefly opened before closing behind her, directing their drive to the directed building, where Zod's ship lays. No Parademon caught sight of their presence.
Zoe, Dinah, Thea, and Roy wait for William and Mia's arrival. Until they distinguish in sight of the latter duo's presence.
"William. Mia", Thea exclaimed, thankful that they're not dead.
William and Mia glanced around the big vault. It's huge, similar to the building, once used by Superman, before his unknown caused death. What stands in the eyes of the team, is Zod's big ship.
"Wow", William impressively remarked.
"Are you guys okay?", Thea questioned.
"I am. And I don't need the bear-comfort. I can assure that", said Mia.
William and Mia proceed to head forward, whilst their allies stay behind, guarding the large opened hatch.
After a few hard steps, they extended to Zod's engine room. Zod's bridge isn't that big. Less spaced. Likely cause his second last encounter with the Man of Steel, might've resulted in Zod losing his allies. The engine was closeby. William and Mia observed the pieces inside. Both were careful, not to break, though it would cause them to respite in different parts of seconds. A few minutes were taken, but William, using knowledge of Kryptonians, and their resources, has finally found the pieces, benefited by his sister, who examined the bits to carefully take out. Their short celebration ended when they heard screeches of Parademons, meaning the latter found the team.
Thea and Roy flicked explosive arrows at specified hit-on Parademons, bursting the, back by sheer force, which was defiantly installed, caused to be made under circumstances of Earth.
Dinah holds her baton, in opportunistic times, strikes boldly on some of the Parademons, that ran straight her way. Though she was completely outnumbered, and outmatched. Parademons, charging at the Black Canary, shoved her back, slowly turning it into a firm hold. A grenade soon appeared behind Parademons, causing a massed explosion, pushing them back, and exerting to lose Black Canary off their fingers.
Dinah quickly rolls over, repositioning back to her fighting stance.
William and Mia came out. Both holding a quantity of parts to add inside the Waverider's engine room. They soon realised that none of the Parademons, after discerning there are thousands, that none have crossed way into their point.
Mia beamed her heat vision at a few, closing in on Zoe and Dinah's point, which astonishes the both, as they oversee Mia bursting her red beam on all the Parademons.
More and more Parademons came, making it hard for Mia to take them all out, whilst protecting her allies at the same time. Roy and Thea just ran out of arrows, and were knocked unconscious. So was Dinah and Zoe. All that leaves live in conscious is William and Mia. Technically, she could've escaped, since she has Kryptonian abilities and agility.
"Mia you can outrun them", William expressed belief in Mia's agility, in flight mode. Mia twirls to William. "Go one ahead. Take this stuff. You will have a better chance at saving our parents".
Mia glances down on, subsequently, Zoe, Dinah, Thea, and Roy. Then to William. Thinking about choosing between two sides. She undergoes some sort of care, she never utilised for other people. More prominently, on William. She made her choice by horizontally nodding. "No. I'm not leaving. Not a team behind. Most importantly, I won't leave my brother", Mia truthfully expresses, causing William to paint a faint blush, and a smile. Mia displayed a smile, before turning around to bout a flood of heat vision. She was bout to do it, until she sensed a volt of pink and yellow lightning.
"What's wrong?", William noticed.
"She's coming", Mia claims.
"Who's coming?", William was confused, thinking it was either her mom or an additional thousands of Parademons. But William noticed a smile upon Mia's face, which meant it was neither.
A speedster forms into a circular form, forming a hurricane that pulls Parademons into a tight grasp, slowly throwing them away into the skies. The speedster then charged to follow in covering Mia, William, Thea, Roy, Zoe, and Dinah. Taking them all out of the bulding.
This blaze of purple and yellow infused took the team to the quinjet. Soon everyone was taken out. William takes her time to re-breathe, while Mia remained the same.
Roy, Thea, Zoe, and Dinah woke up, after being affected by a speed driveway.
"What happened? Thought we-", Roy cut himself off when he sees a blurry speedster, dressed in white and blue leather, wearing a crest of the symbol of lightning. Her blurring feature fades, as the speedster unveils her mask, revealing her true face. Her pale-brown short layered hair.
"Nora?!", William exclaims, heading straight to embrace a hug, which Nora accepted, displaying a smile. "I'm so glad you're okay. When I heard you went back in time, I was so worried that you might've-".
"Nah. I came clean in the past", said Nora. She overhears babbles from Zoe muttering to Roy, Thea, and Dinah. Nora ignores it, not focused on the comments. "Until I came back to the future".
"What made you come back to the future?", Thea questioned.
"Dark Supergirl", Nora reasons. "She's on the move. Annihilated tens of universes". It shocks the whole as they never suspected Kara to have such capabilities to completely wipe out universes. They wonder if this universe will fall. "Something that convinced me to turn up in Year 2040 earlier".
