Inside the Waverider
Bruce Wayne, having observed every compartment room for the past hour, stands in the Central Console. Same point where Team Legends were formerly held when it came to discussions, plans, and procedures. Linda was taken care, in natural sleep, which bought Bruce the time to take research.
"Kalex", Bruce calls.
On the console, a holographic blue projection of a bald head appears before Bruce.
"Good afternoon Bruce Wayne", Gideon greeted, slightly astonishing Bruce as he himself couldn't tell the exact timing in Earth, or a singular estimate. "How may I be of service?". Her tone suggests she has known Bruce for years, though it'd be impossible. Unless Kara fixated it to serve well for specific people.
Bruce glances down on a book, he took from the archives. History related to a ring he once used, an item he used before. Though it wasn't exactly him, at the time.
"First. I want you to show a list of locations, if there is any sources, and I mean powerful resources in play on either this world, or any other universe in the multiverse", Bruce requested.
"I'm sorry Bruce but I am not ascertain to display that information. To override it is to be administered manually by the owner Kara Zor-EL Queen", said Gideon.
Bruce briefly damned himself but shrugged off, not displaying his brief action.
"Then can you tell me about something?", Bruce required.
"About what?", Kalex asks
"Years ago, I was seemingly killed by Darkseid, after confronting him, which later befallen to my own death, but instead flew me across the past eras", said Bruce. "A figure from nowhere had somewhat raised my deceased body from the dead, though it was never explicitly explained how. But do you know of what this source was used on me before?".
"Yes Bruce Wayne. Sources of the Black Lantern Ring", Kalex answered.
Outside the Waverider
A quinjet successfully positions to its standing position. The slide-door slides down, permitting the team, and Nora, to leave the jet. They've finally got the pieces they've needed from Zod's ship. Meanwhile, Nora and team were head-to-head talking about the reasoning behind travelling to Area 51.
"So you're planning on heading to the past?", Nora summed up from what she heard from her allies.
"Yes", William approved. He soon notices Nora's look. "Something I said wrong?".
Nora spins to direct her gaze at William, thinking about the things she subsequently learned from her father. "Just thinking about my father's lectures. One of them being flashpoint". Thea and Roy stunned in instance, sloping their eyes on Nora. They both heard the flashpoint event Barry went through. "An alternate timeline he created, which caused a lot of consequences to the timeline Barry was primarily in".
"Post-flashpoint", William coined, surprising Nora. "Kara told me about it once. Wasn't actually just the god-play Barry wielded, Kara was the one whom manipulated the timeline".
"Mom never told me about any of those events", said Mia.
"Gives an impression that your mom isn't exactly what you call the proper side of it. Just like my brother", Thea remarks. "Ever since I learned about the flashpoint, and the manipulation of timeline, with Kryptonian tech, all I laid in my head was blaming either Barry or Kara. Couldn't blame Kara. She's family, and it's not her fault she was exposed to a raw substance".
The team reached the floor layer of the Waverider, entering inside.
"Changing the past could erase this world off-existence of this timeline", Nora said, reminding them all of their fates, if the past ever changed.
"It's better that way Nora. We'd either relive through a looping nausea, or we fix the past, and make sure it never compounds into this reality", said William. "At the side of fixing the timeline, I want my father back".
"Same side in my hand", Mia agreed.
"Preventing the fate of the world to turn into this reality, is essentially what I barged in. So course I'll help", Nora presented oneself. "It would feel like old times Mia".
"Old times are vaguely pathetic this time around", Mia commented.
"Come on Mia. Remember all the good times. The times we've raced miles across like how your mom and my dad raced", said Nora.
"Those times; they didn't race. Your father needed my mom's boost of speed one time to empower a breach to cross in", Mia reminded.
"Wait back up", William requested, shortly directing to Nora, whom directs her gaze at him. "You were friends with my sister, and you knew her for years?". His tone gives a momentary view of concern and jealousy, in which Mia notices, following on Nora's.
The latter was hesitant but she had to retort a 'yes' response before it ever got out of control. So she nodded, then perceiving William shaking his head. Some pain dwells inside the latter, rendering a bit higher pain inside.
"William?", Mia calls, pondering if her brother is alright. William didn't respond, he simply drove off ahead, pacing past his friends. Mia was about to follow till she was wavered by Thea. "Aunt Thea".
"I'll talk to him", Thea willingly volunteered, walking further to the same directions William went through.
William was in one of those crew quarters, that the Waverider provided of. He flattened his head down, struggling to forget what he learnt. So many secrets were kept from him, and yet he was never told a single bit, till it eventually had to turn into that fallen route. He's known about both his father and adopted mom's past crusades. What he couldn't quite understand is why he was kept away from learning the truths. Only brought him nothing but pain and anger. Portion of him he held, since the day his biological mother died under Prometheus' hands, was grudged on Oliver, because of his post-traumatic stress disorder. Over the years he called him by a nickname of 'bad man' and his real name, never referring to Oliver as his father. Took a toll on Oliver.
His disorder of silent talks to himself came to a close when he realised Thea's presence, from the door of the room.
"Auntie Thea", William exclaims.
Thea briefly peaks the corners around the room inside, before staring back at William.
"May I come in?", Thea asked.
William took the moment to think, before he nodded, allowing Thea to walk over to his bed site, to sit next to him, as William positioned in sit stance.
"Not sure how to settle it. You look really pissed", Thea remarks, unintentionally rendering William to lower his head. "It's about your ad isn't it".
"He kept so many secrets from me Thea. And out of all those BS times, he chose to indulge his secret with the Flash", said William. "I'm starting to have parting temptations of never wanting to work to bring him back".
Thea places her hand on William's arms, motioning up and down, to render him comfy.
"Don't say that. You know what he's been through over his past years of crusade", said Thea.
"But he never bothered telling me about him and Kara giving birth to Mia. My sister. Someone I could've warmed up to. Someone I needed for. Times I'm scared what if I lose you and Roy. Then I'll have no one to help me look after Linda", William spoke bitterly.
"It wasn't easy for him to keep. You know that", Thea declared. "And I'm certain that he was adequately distressed. And I know it down to his first scar. Since the day he made a reappearance in his city, where many have expressed their doubts he had ever made it alive. At first, when I noticed Oliver's tendency to keep lots of secrets, even a fact that I am Malcolm's daughter, I grew so much angry at him, to the point he almost lost control over himself. He begged me to come back to a city full of dark attributions". Thea separated her hand off of William's, turning to wrapping one arm around William, pulling him closer to her. "And you know what I said?", latter chanced William.
"You were hesitant, weren't you?", William questioned, as a guess.
"I was. I was tentative, holding myself inside a thin bowl, keeping myself away from Star City. I was so mad at dad, mom, my brother that I feel into Malcolm, whom trained me, and tried to become a supporting father, although he's side was so brutal. But seeing Oliver begging me, trying to convince, until he revealed to me about Robert, my unfortunate adopted father, and requested me to reconsider my choice in coming back to Star City. I began to regrow my warm-side with him, after he showed me his
alter-ego persona, which I respected out of him. His objectives to save lives, even risked his life to protect me, when I never asked him to. He's a good man to all of us William, regardless of a thousand lines he dug in his thick cranium, he cared", Thea explained, basing her viewpoint of Oliver Queen.
William finally lifted himself from Thea's grasp, finally looking at her. "How can I forgive my dad for the ongoing mistakes he's going to do, keeping secrets to me? Mia never had the chance to meet me at a younger age".
Thea takes the moment, in time, to think about it, carefully. "Advise him".
"That's it?"
Thea nodded. "You can't force him, but you can give advices. He took my word of advices when he coded his well unknown tacks off me. Just didn't say the actual words, but in a particular way tried explaining. He can listen to them. I'd guarantee. Only when we have you and Mia fixing the Waverider's engines. Then you'll be in the past, metting your father again".
"Okay", William mutters to Thea, whom offers a hug, which William accepted.
Unbeknownst to the two, Mia was standing by the side of the open door. William and Thea noticed her presence, after parting their hugs.
"Mia?!", Thea exclaimed. "Is everything alright?".
"Roy needs you at the bridge", Mia addresses.
Thea glances back to William, wondering if William would feel detained in sadness.
William nods. "I'm fine".
Thea goes forward, briefing a look on Mia, whom glanced at her with a faint assured smile, as the latter goes onward to a point, closer to William.
"You heard everything I said to Auntie Thea didn't you?"
"Most of it", Mia claims, ambling in a curved direction.
"What did you hear?", he asked.
"Just tips of whines and cries, expressing a prospect of hate in dad", said Mia, perceiving William downing his head. "I feel sorry too you know". Latter immediately ups his face to her in confusion. "Dad and mom. They've kept many secrets. Actual fact, Mom told me about your existence, a son of Oliver Queen".
"Probably said I was an immature refusal to accept my dad around me, who I never referred as a term of 'dad' after my biological mom's death", William assumes.
"No. She expressed her worries, worried about how many secrets she had to keep from you, regarding me", said Mia. Her eyes moved to a lower point, looking down to avoid eye-contact with her brother. "When I learned about you, I actually did wanna meet you in person. I was eager to meet, to meet an older brother".
"And what did mom and dad say?"
"I wasn't allowed to. In fact I realised I couldn't. Trained in physical peaks and absolute skills, twined with Nyssa. I am strenuous. After all, I have powers, thanks to my mom", said Mia.
"Who else knew about you Mia?", William asked.
Mia muffles, thinking to deliberately avoid William tapping an instant angry look. She came forward, slightly enclosing the space between them.
"Obviously, Mom and Dad. My former teacher Nyssa. The others: John, Connor, Barry, Nora, Lena, Alex, J'onn, Lois and of course Clark, we all know as he was really close to my mom till their crazy fallout five years ago, you know why", Mia listed.
"Hard to not be in my own sister's childhood", William deemed. "Out of all those people that my dad and Kara trusted, they couldn't glimpse a fact to me". William stands up, abruptly leaving his room, leaving Mia in the process.
"Mia. William. We need you guys to come to the bridge", Thea announced.
William and Mia arrived in the bridge, where there team resides in. The two overlook on a holographic blueish female figure, in tight suit, with a presumed blonde hair. It didn't matter of her features. The team easily recognised who they're seeing in the naked eye. It's no dose or magic that waves them, it's real, even for Bruce.
"Kara?!", Bruce exclaims.
"That's not the Kara you know of", said Roy. "She's entirely a different woman since Oliver's death".
"People who are watching this live transmission. It is me. Kara Zor-El, last daughter of Krypton. The ruler of the Multiverse, that you all loathe with trembling hate", Kara introduced, directing her attention to the people that live in remained universes in the multiverse. "By far, I have just wiped out so many universes. Earth-2, Earth-3, Earth-9, Earth-12, Earth-21, Earth-33, Earth-TUD5, Earth-67, Earth-74, Earth-75. So many more that you can't count how much I am enjoying the fireworks blown before me".
"Is she talking to us?", Dinah asked.
"It's a live broadcast across the multiverse web", Mia answered.
"And I thought Kryptonians were vulnerable to magic", Nora believed.
"Magic?", Zoe catched.
"Earth-33 is a designated world where magic replaces science. Basically a contemporary of how the earliest terrestrials used science, when in Earth-33 they used magic to evolve further", Nora defined.
"A complete infinite age of Harry Potter", Thea describes
"Makes sense for her to obliterate that world. Magicians can be a nuisance to Kryptonians though it merely renders them vulnerable", said Bruce. "But how is Kara capable of wiping an multiple universe, let alone a single universe that requires an extensive power, beyond her natural capabilities?".
"According to Superman, Kara infused the powers of Darkseid and Braniac. Two whom were both responsible for Oliver's death", said Thea. "Powers that we can't face by ourselves. Not even kryptonite can faze her. She's immune".
"...surrender yourselves beneath my feat. There is no hope, no freedom, no light, no heroes. Beg for me to spare you, or you will be forced in a gruesome arranged process of torture", said Kara, displaying a sinned smile. "You have 24 hours before my Parademons snatch every body that inhabits in every universe you remain. Universes I've wiped out, each and every one of them are either a slave or a Parademon. Choose your fate wisely. Time is ticking". Kara's showcased figure pops out of the beacon console.
"So what's the plan?! We're running out of time!", William yells.
"Gideon. Does Earth-19 still exist?", Nora requests to Gideon.
"Earth-19 is at a breakage but it still lives with fewer survivors. Probability of metahumans, still surviving", Gideon addressed.
"What's your entourage with Earth-19?", Dinah asks.
"Oh meeting old friends", Nora answered.
"I don't recall you ever breaching to Earth-19. Last I heard from you, all times you crossed dimensions was with your dad. Earth-2, Earth-3, and Earth-38", said Mia.
"I didn't actually travel to Earth-19, but Team Flash did. Well a unsustained group to decipher", said Nora. "I don't know about my dad. I haven't him since he fought Supergirl five years ago. But I do know where Caitlin and Cisco are in".
"Weren't they the original members of Team Flash?", Zoe questioned.
"Yeah", Nora.
"How do we cross to Earth-19's sector when Kara can easily track us that way?", Dinah questions.
"Oh you don't have to worry about her. I installed a system to ghost the Waverider from chancing Kara from ever finding out this Waverider working. Though Gideon is mainly administered by Kara", William assured. Latter offered familiar devices that some of them remembered from before.
"Extrapolators?", Bruce exclaims.
"Courtesy of you", William deemed.
"That means we have no sharp pain in ass, we can hatch a boom tube in Earth-19, grab Cisco and Caitlin, and come back in one piece", said Thea.
"I'm coming with you people", Bruce takes.
"Sounds like you're caring for Linda, whom you've never known of", said William.
"I can't look after her. I have to go somewhere", Bruce said.
"Where?", Roy inquires.
Bruce completely ignores them, wielding an extrapolator he quickly snatched from copes of it from William. He opens boom tube, walking inside, with the portal closing in on itself.
"Shouldn't we catch up to him?", Nora questioned, knowing Bruce has no idea where he is stumbling into.
"I trust Bruce will make it out alive. Mom once said Bruce is persistent to fall into his own death", said William.
"Then let's go", Roy ordered everyone.
"What about Linda?", Thea raises the question.
Everyone hears a thudded sound of air, drifting to their direction. A little girl in a suit.
"Linda?", William exclaimed.
"I'm coming too", Linda attempts to volunteer on this mission.
"It's dangerous", Thea remarks. "Can't lose you too".
"You can't hold me back", Linda warns, stranding her fists on her hips.
"She has a point", Zoe agrees, receiving a glare from Thea. "She has powers gifted from her mother".
Thea sighs, coming closer to Linda. "Just stay close to us".
Linda slowly nodded as Thea spaced apart, gesturing to Roy and the team they are ready. William presses the extrapolator, opening a spiral boom tube, for them to walk into. Earth-19, their next stop. Nora never went to Earth-19, nor was aware of Cisco and Caitlin's whereabouts. She was however told they decided to move. It's unknown if Cisco and Caitlin have closely contacted since the disappearance of Barry Allen. Bringing the league altogether is what matters; to tackle with the multiverse's endgame ruler: Dark Supergirl.
