Dark Supergirl's Space Station
Mia awakens, overhearing whistles and whisper she can't have the temerity to guess which voice it belongs to. It was coming closer, closer and closer. Like a step in the walks; sounds walking to adjoin in Mia's point. Mia's is constricted behind the armlets, stuck on her arms, illuminating a trojan of red sun, which slightly astonishes as she never harks back to being sentenced in Fort Rozz prison. This place she's in, it's vastly similar to that particular area, where all the cells were locked in.
The humming blow of whistle advances to emerge from the shadows, coming from the door that slid upwards. Mia realised she isn't in Fort Rozz, she's in her own mom's prison. Kara moves closer to her daughter, displaying a cute puppy-dolled look, showing she still has it within her, something Mia could file reminiscent from before. Latter was tended to falling into her playful mother acts, at least that's what she thinks.
"I'm not embracing your love dictator. You're nothing like my mom", said Mia.
"I'm still your mother. Both biologically and lovingly. I've repeated this time and time again", said Kara, reaching to Mia's point. "That I am your mother".
"More like a homicidal variation of my mom. A cold killer I was afraid you'd be. Reasons to why I left to live in Star City", said Mia.
"Star City? Your father's last buried patch that he left behind?", Kara deemed, mocking Star City. "The very city where it took every gut of tongue out of Oliver's innards? Pathetic".
"Then why didn't you take me back when you could've done it in the first place?"
"Your tenacity of godhood was adorable. The audacity to rule a cult, which unfortunately got forced into dispersion. Because of that heart-headed cousin of mine, too weak. Good thing I removed him out the playing field", said Kara.
"I guess my assumptions were correct; it was you who killed Superman and White Canary", said Mia. She gets a show of grinned giggle from her mother.
"Don't sound too surprised my child; you too wanted to kill Superman. We both had a common hate. And I can feel it in every fibre optic vein designated in you", said Kara, expressing her motherly intuition.
"And what's that supposed to lead you? Satisfaction? Proud in the monarch mother-to-daughter cherries? Or you just want a confession from your only conscious daughter?", Mia inquires.
"No. Neither", Kara proclaims. She moves in a circle, around the stand-bench, that holds Mia in clutches. "I'm more concerned about you being similar to your father; some part still holds you back. Mia Zor-El-Queen. Detaining the genes of Supergirl and Green Arrow. Two characters that always hold back, in a concise of brutal fashion, when it's necessitate. Still not drawing into killing tactics. A vow me and Oliver made to never break. Until we both lost control".
"Why does it matter? Does it displease you that I will never become you? Something I don't even care about", Kara's daughter taunted. Dark Supergirl wasn't so fazed, she found it amusing, which Mia notices as she peeked a smile on her face. "Now you're finding it all funny".
"No I'm not displeased. I'm recalling in myself a memory from before", Kara addressed. "This isn't the first time I went rogue. I've done it before. Although I was intercepted with the submissions to red kryptonite, which my puny delicate Alex brought me back. But once I touched the borderline of my true-self, I enjoyed it. Rapes, sex, party girl. No remorse or cares. Disloyalty to my peers and companies. And being the beauty of Queen of the surface".
Mia remembered reading a past article regarding the news of Supergirl, went rogue on National City. Circumstances were unknown, they speculated she just took it upon herself to willingly invade her own city. Regardless of the speculations and presumptions, Mia believed something happened that caused her mom to temporarily shape into a worst version of herself.
"Around thirty years ago, Maxwell accidentally exposed me to red kryptonite. A source that channels out every darker side of you. When I tapped all the ends that were loosened, I saw the face I hid", Kara expresses, briefly touching her side-face. "The true person I was supposed to be. Alex took it all away. Subdued me to a nerd compass windbag. Dazing in the streets like an uttered fool among my classmates, peers, groups, teams. Everything. I had it all. But Alex locked me inside, turned me into a curve-ball".
"Red kryptonite huh? Planning on turning me into a descended god of yours?", Mia asked, feeling that's what Kara is planning to do.
Kara finally stopped to stand very close to her. "No. Those are the words of a psychotic obsessive mother, who would pull any resolution or choice she desires", the mother retorted. She caressed Mia's mid-lengthen curly hair, assuring her she is not willing to jump to that option.
"You still fit in the category of someone who's clearly psychotic", Mia shot back.
"If I was Mia, then why didn't I destroy the Waverider you and William had spent weeks and months of isolation to fix in?", Kara raised a point, behind evidence. Shocks Mia. "Kalex addressed me what you and William were working on. Tried to lock me away". She quietly giggles to herself. "William is a smart one. Proud of him. A loving son". Mia was still shocked by the words her mother brought about. "Diving back into the past to reshape these events from ever happening?". Mia didn't respond, which doesn't affect her mom. "You don't have to answer. I know. And I didn't need some tech to rattle with me. A mother's intuition is a key source that dwells inside a mom". Kara continued to waver on Mia's hair, now going to her forehead. "I didn't expect it. Thought I'd have to spend fraction of years to settle the puzzles together. But I don't need to". With her last sentence done, Kara takes off, displaying a smile to Mia, whom hasn't responded her own. Latter was shocked. Shocked that after all she'd down, has is about to get dropped into the her mother's possession. With the Waverider working again, she can finally go back in the past to fill her evil deeds.
