Earth-48
The Canaries and the Archers, along with William, Cisco and Gypsy, arrived in front of a sizeable gate, connected large barriers that prevent a path from anyone from crossing. And it's charged with powers to moderate beings into an incompetent interloper.
"How do we get across when we can't use our breaches to teleport to there?", Cisco questioned.
"Extrapolator?", Zoe guessed.
Cisco demonstrated the fail-solve by pressing the button on the extrapolator. "Tried opening a boom tube inside there. They must've jammed our frequency channel to get abroad inside".
"Might be because they've faced New Gods before. Smart to build implements to counteract any trespasser that tries to enter their zone", William presumed.
Roy attempts to spring a grappling arrow over to the top of the fence. Only for it to deflect. The group realised the Quarantine is enveloped with forces of energised shields.
"Guess obtaining Harun-El is going to be difficult than I had wondered", William lined. Latter revolves to Cisco.
"Do have the intellects to shut a force field down?", Cisco asked. He knows Kara had tutored him personally, as he was told of it by Barry. A kind of reference comparison. "You were taught by Kara after all".
William glances over to the high fence, surveying the features planted in the wall. He moves forward, trying to get a sharper view. He's coursed many problems to solve, passed and answer at ease. Sometimes William ponders if it really was his superior intellect that's helping him tackle any problem. Or it's something he isn't aware of, something that's trying to enter his mind, solving a puzzled question he was asking himself for years.
"William?", Thea calls. William turns around, gazing at Thea, whom stared at her with a facial worried expression. "Is something bothering you?".
"I don't know Auntie Thea", said William. His vision starts to get blurrier and blurrier. It's not mild, it's severe. It's so obscure for him. An unidentified echo lurching him the inside, breaking him. His vision, whilst blurry, separates into multiple layers. Last thing William sees is him falling down on the ground. He overhears cries of her friends and family, but the sound soon gets reduced.
"William?!", Thea shouts, crying for him to wake him. Latter shoves his shoulders, as she placed her hands on her shoulders. She continues to shake him, but no response from him.
William's Vision
Earth-38
"William?". A voice calls out to the said name. "William?". Last words he heard before he passed out was Thea's voice. This voice is mild. It's nearly stoic but it has a kind spirit. "William?".
His eyes initiates to open up. A shadowed man stares down at him. He isn't exactly bald, he has air. A low summed beard.
"Wake up Will. It's your birthday. You don't wanna miss it. It's a going to be spectacular"
William's eyes, viewing the figure before is finally more vivid. He sees someone that drummed his head into 10 times the cold sheath.
"It can't be", William exclaimed. He instantly rose up, looking at the man whom smiles at him. "I. I...you were-".
"I was what? Cranky?", the aged man questioned to William. He briefly fist-shoved on William's arm. "Come on kiddo. Can't be having nightmares about your parents going mad".
William awkwardly laughs, understanding him. Though to him, he is confused. Confusion adds more when he records that he's not an adult. He's a kid.
"Come", the man shorts a pat on William's arm. "Mom's cooking something special for us". The adult offers a hand, which William accepts, although he was hesitant.
The intertwined hands of two people amble out of William's bedroom.
Entering the ground floor, William oversees a female figure cooking in the kitchen. He is presented with a pad on the shoulder by the man beside him, who displays the same smile he showed when William woke up.
"Sit in the dining room. Mom's growing ivy to cover her special breakfast", the man addressed to William, whom straight away nodded.
Suddenly, both William and the man beside him hear a nearby cry, appealing William's attention.
"Got a better idea. Why don't you check on Mia for me. That would be appreciated", the man requests.
"Sure Dad", William assured, getting a pat in the arm again, before the man walks to the kitchen. "Mia", the latter caught, remembering he heard it before.
William walks to the lounge, perceiving cribs. The same point where the cries are coming from. William advances forward. He sees a baby, covered in blanket, producing baby suck-out noises. The baby's eyes direct their usual clenched eyes to William. Mia lifts her arm, seeming to beg to feel William's hand. William was hesitant for a moment but he took her hand, feeling the smooth comfort. It gave Mia the wisdom to relinquish an overexcite baby groan, grateful to feel her brother's hand. She was glimmering at him with baby pupped eyes.
"I don't remember any of this. It's like a fantasy just surfaced into a hallucination. But the smooth fingers. The pats from my dad. It's so real", said William. He raises his face up. "Was it all an illusion?".
