Chapter 19: The secret is revealed
It's been a day since Zarc got Ray's number and Zarc just leaves his doll shop for his aunt to take over so he can go to the stadium to duel, since he has fans there. Once there, Zarc spends his time, trying to ignore both his dragons and his screaming fans. As great a duelist as he was, he prefers privacy. Every so often, he glances at his phone. "I shouldnt... I want to... but I shouldn't." Zarc is having trouble deciding like a yandere with her victims. Odd eyes then pops out the deck box with only his head to speak with his master. "Come on, you can do it." The dragon encouraged, knowing zarv have some balls to do it. "Just call and ask her." Zarc shook head in frustration, "No no no!" Zarc yelled, "I can't tempt myself! I need to practice!" Dark Rebellion pops out of the duel box then does what Odd eyes say as well but in an idea that will work. "you can always call later after practice." With all such encouragement from his dragons, Zarc starts tearing his hair out, agonizing over the decision. Eventually he gives in and tries texting Ray, giving her his number. A few seconds later Zarc got her text. Reading her text, it said she would like to have some lunch with Zarc sometimes today. "She wants to ask me out?" He asked in confusion, "Why? I thought I was supposed to do that!" (A/n yes people, normally it is the guys who ask out, not other way around.) clear wing got it of the deck box to look at the text. "Can be vise versa sometimes." Case the point by the synchro dragon, "Just say yes." Zarc growled, cause to his mind they are not helping (a/n yea not every parent is helping their kid with their words or their actions when something bad comes up). "You're all trying to get me in trouble." Declared the male demon then finally he replies Ray with the sentence "to meet him at the park around 3pm". "This can not end well..." He said as he is not really happy with himself, pinching the bridge of his nose. Odd eyes pat Zarc's back in proudness, "It will, trust me." In a few seconds, Zarc got a reply saying "Ok, see you then." Starve venom came out last of the duel box to speak, "See that wasn't so bad now was it?" Asked the Fusion Dragon since he know it ain't hard to ask. "It's not about that!" Zarc yelled at his monster, "No matter how much I might like her, it doesn't change anything!" After the talk he starts to prepare to leave to the field.
Later, it is now the afternoon for Zarc to go see Ray As he leaves his penthouse, he spots several Artificial trees and birds, created by the Real Solid Vision System, feeling his mood change to bitterness. When no one is looking, he crushes one under his boot. It skaters in holographic light. "... I really hate this place..." Zarc spoke in stammering, knowing he really does hate things that are a lie. Dark Rebellion pops out of the duel box, getting to look around the area. "Time to greet the day?" He asked. Zarc looked at his monster as he walks to the park, "Hopefully." Then once Zarc arrived the park, he looks all over the park. It's coated in Real Solid Vision. All of the greenery, the flowers, the animals, are just projected holograms. Visually, it was impressive. But it wasn't real. Zarc wanted something real. Zarc casually walks through the park until he spots Ray. "At least she's real..." as Zarc waves at Ray, catching her attention. In a few seconds, Ray saw Zarc then waves with a warm smile and starts to pat the other spot of the bench, meaning come sit next to me. Zarc seemed to look a little confused at first, but wanders over and sits down next to her. "Hey there." Zarc said, looking at her. Ray looked at Zarc back. "It's nice out isn't it?" Zarc stirred a bit and gently. "I suppose.. Zarc answered as he looks around* Doesn't the Real Solid Vision System affect the weather too?" Ray looks at the sky to check. "Rarely." With that answer, Zarc seems irked about it. "Really... and here I thought I could at least enjoy the sun as real." Zarc spoke sarcastically as he Scrunched his face up. Ray giggles from such joke, understanding sarcasm. "The sun is real." She said in honesty, "So please tell me about yourself." Zarc cleared his throat and put his hands on his lap then told Ray about himself, "Well, I'm 26, I love long walks on the beach, smooth jazz and talking to my imaginary dragon friends." Then he begins to Speak sarcastically. "Or is he?" All the sudden, Odd eyes popped out of the duel box, out of nowhere. "Yes he does." Ray saw Odd eyes even without solid vision like Zarc can. She then spoke Odd eyes in a greeting, "Oh hello little guy." With that sentence, Zarc jumped a bit in shock. "What the?! Odd Eyes!" The for a minute, he heard what Ray said, "Wait, you can see him?" Ray looks at Zarc once more. "Yup." Ray answered, "I can see and speak with monsters too." He knew it! He knew it! There IS something about her is off. She has the same ability as Zarc does, despite not born a demon. Zarc is quite surprise from her gift and soon he got the guts to speak. "Woah...that is..." in his mind, he is speaking 'SHIT! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!' (A/n Yup he's surprised big time.) but outside he spoke "I've... never met anyone else who has that ability..." And he's right; he never met anyone else besides his parents who has such ability. Ray smiled warmly then looks away a bit. "I'm really glad I met someone who has the same ability as I am." Said the lady with the gift as Clear Wing popped out and did a nudge nudge wink wink on zarc. In embarrassment, Zarc shoves Clear Wing away. "Why's that?" Zarc asked in curiosity, "Did... people insult you for it?" Ray saddened a bit, remembering her past then looks at Zarc again. "Every time I tell anyone about, they deemed me insane." Zarc remembers how he was as a kid, that something bad happened before then had the courage to speak to Ray. "Woah, that's...That's terrible..." Said the demon as he then unconsciously slides his hand over to hold Rays, "I... I like it!" Ray perked up in hope once again, "Really?" Zarc then smiled warmly and begins to sound honest, "Yeah, I've never know anyone else who could see them." Then soon Zarc his deck box out and pulls out the four dragons.
They talked for hours as they introduced each other's monsters. Ray's monsters: Schuberta, the melodious maestra, Lyrilusc Recite Starling (or Star for short), WindWitch Winter Bell (or Bella is what her full name is), and Lunalight Catherine "Cat" dancer looked at the dragons in curiosity. At first they can't trust them, but now in a few seconds, they see that they can trust them. After hours of fun, the two duelist decide to go and they went separate ways until the next day. Zarc looks at his dragons with a smile. Finally a person who can trust and love. Zarc then looks up to the evening sky that is revealing stars. "I found love mom." Zarc spoke to the sky, "And she is breathtaking." Zarc then looks back down to his dragons and put them into his duel box. Inside the dragons are proud that Zarc found true love. "You know?" Clear wing spoke, "I think Zarc can find and fall for love after all."
