Chapter 21: Then comes a rescue with a single marriage
A week later, Zarc is still uneasy, heading into a tournament by himself. Ray is watching in the stands, Zarc isn't concentrating... and it happens. In his carelessness, Zarc ends up injuring his opponent. And the audience, save for Leo and Ray, begins to cheer. Ray's Fusion monster, Cat Dancer noticed how Zarc ended as one of Schuberta's nieces, Aria is the same way. "I had a bad feeling about your new boyfriend mistress." Aria told Ray, "I feel like he let his way on protecting you go a little to far." With worry in the girlfriend's eye, she saw Zarc leaves the field heading to the locker room. "Let's go." Ray whispered and then left to find Zarc. What they didn't notice is Leo began to follow Ray to the lockers room. Meanwhile in the lockers room, we find Zarc, sitting in the locker room, with his face in his hands. He sent his agent to collect his prizes this time, not feeling ready to go out again. Ray manages to find Zarc then goes to him. "Zarc?" Ray asked, "You ok?" Zarc shook a bit in shock. "Ray... I..." As he can't talk properly, "I just... I didn't mean to..." Ray sighed sadly, showing empathy. Ray goes to her boyfriend wanting to comfort him. "I know you didn't mean it." Ray spoke, trying to make him feel better as she the Sat next to him and let's him lay his head on her shoulder so she can soothe him. When Zarc tries to hug Ray back, came into the lockers room is her father. "RAY!" The father yelled. How'd Leo followed Ray into the locker room? What have him the right to do so? Whatever the reason, Leo is not too happy with what's going on. In a minute, he went inside the lockers room to investigate. "What on earth is going on here?!" Ray isn't happy for the action that her dad did. "he needs support." Ray answered, "So I thought I go and comfort him." Ray glared at her father, "a problem with THAT?!" Leo crossed his arms who is very disappointed in his only child. "Ray, you told me he was your dueling partner!" Leo pointed out, "But clearly there's more going on here!" Leo soon glared back, "You think I'm an idiot?" In that heated argument between the two, Zarc gets between Leo and Ray to break up the fight, but Leo grabs ahold of Ray. "You are coming home RIGHT NOW!" then Leo tries to take her from Zarc. Zarc ain't giving up easy, so he tries to grab ahold of Ray as well, but Leo is tough. "Unhindered my daughter, you fiend!" Leo ordered, "You aren't good enough for her! Ray, we're going now!" In that moment, Zarc is getting angry. Ray had an idea to release herself. With all her strength, she kicked her father in the balls (a/n I'm telling you girls, DO NOT do that to your daddies. It is not good.) Leo yelled in pain and released Ray from his grasped. Ray would have been quicker though, if she hadn't got scooped up and taken away to the car. Once Leo and the security guards, who they're holding Ray and taking her away from Zarc, the angered demon is left behind. Fuming inside his demonic heart.
Later at home, sent away all his fans and his agent, about halfway through his third bottle of beer, kicking things around, screaming. Clear wing looked at Zarc as he can't stand him drunk. "Well like they said," the synchro dragon explained, "Your relation with the girl is like Juliet and Romeo." Zarc sat down on his chair, furiously. From the drinking, Zarc is not only upset but also super drunk. "It can't end like this!" The drunkard furiously yelled, "IT CAN'T!" hiccuping, Odd eyes had enough. The dragon then goes to his master in anger. "Zarc get a grip!" He yelled as he then slaps the face with his tail, "Snap the fuck out of it and save Ray!" In a yelp in pain with a cursed question spoke by Zarc, Odd eyes got the demon's drunk, undivided attention. "Rebellion got an idea." Zarc stood up with a drunken daze. "Alright, tell me!" exclaiming the drunk demon.
Moments later, The dragons and Zarc are outside dressed in black, hiding in the bush in the high ditch. Body guards are surrounding the area of Ray's home and we find ray crying in bed, in her bedroom. Dark Rebellion looked at his master, wanting to tell him the instructions. "Okay master, give us five minutes." Instructed the Xyz dragon, "Then after we give you the signal." With that said, he went off with the other three to do their work (a/n cue mission impossible music theme maestro). Zarc watched his dragon, giving them time and then looked at the view of the city. He must admit, he never noticed how small and pathetic the city looks from up here. (A/n of course the view is QUITE nice.) Zarc grinned at the view as he waits for the signal. Five minutes later, we find the bodyguards chased by odd eyes, dressed as a ghostly T-Rex (a/n wow how stupid can he get?). While at it, clear wings turned off all security so nothing can stop Ray from escaping. Then starving venom formed a bridge across ray's window to the ledge where zarc is at and then Dark Rebellion help ray, her monsters, and the stuff she gathered go across the bridge. Once they got to Zarc, Ray hugs him tightly, on the verge of crying in joy. "Oh God, I miss you!" Zarc squeezes and caressed Ray with gentle care. "No one can keep us apart, my darling." He said as his voice is low, oddly menacing, "But we're not out just yet..." Looking down, Leo Akaba's personal security forces begin to surround the building Zarc and Ray stand on. Zarc only grins, mounting Dark Rebellion, with Ray behind him. "You're father's technology was useful to me for something." Ray looked at zarc curiously. Yes she remembered how Zarc is not fond of things that are fake and she found it that way to, but she did wonder of what is one thing Zarc can live with about Solid Vision. "what's that?" She asked, as clear wing disabled the power of the security's weapons with one roar before joining Zarc. "Solid Vision doesn't make the monsters real," Zarc answered, "But it does make them real enough to do this!" As Dark Rebellion takes off, Clear Wing attacks the guards, some of which Ray knew. "Hey be careful!" Ray yelled. Clear wing gave her a look in embarrassment with apology. Much to Zarc's unamusement, he yelled, "Don't apologize Clear Wing, they are the enemy!" Curiouser and Curiouser, Ray thought. Zarc's acting a little weird. Did he somehow do something that made him feel that way? Whatever it is, it's nothing. To be sure, Ray asked Zarc if he's alright. In reply Zarc Answered, "I feel great Ray... better than I have in a long time!"
Soon, they made it back to zarc's apartment, where the couple be away from Leo for now. As Zarc dismounted off of her Xyz dragon, he helps Ray get down. "Anyways thanks for saving me." Zarc got Ray's stuff, and monsters down from Dark Rebellion in unloading. "It's alright, you're safe with me?" asked the demon as he smiled warmly, hugging Ray gently from behind. Ray gave Zarc a smile back, showing love in her eyes. "I love you my dragon king." Ray called in giving Zarc a nickname. Zarc nuzzles her tenderly; showing love for his mate. "Come in, I have something for you." With that said, the couple the Monsters of Ray's who is carrying Ray's stuff went inside. Ray followed Zarc as the female monsters settled. "Zarc I think we're forgetting someone." Just like that, she realized they forgot Odd Eyes. Zarc tugs out his Odd Eyes card from his deck box, "Don't worry about him," Zarc reassured, "He's taking care of something special for me. He'll be back by morning." Ray remembered that the last time the couple forgot one of the dragons and he got so mad at Zarc, he won't talk to the poor master for three months. Ray felt sorry for him and giggles from that moment. Zarc playfully rolled his eyes at his girlfriend. "I'm not worried." He said, "They know who's in charge. something IS off about Zarc. He has never talked about his dragons this way before. In an instant, he hands Ray a bag. "Take it to the room and change." Zarc ordered, "Come back out when you're ready." Ray took the bag and went to the nearest bathroom she can find to change. In the meantime, Zarc went to his room and begins to change out his clothes. Zarc finished putting his tux on with a help of the bow tie, tied by Starve venom. Zarc looked himself in the full view mirror, seeing himself all dapper. Why did he dressed like that? He grabbed the two rings from his night stand then leaves the room. Ray came out as well, wearing a beautiful wedding gown and veil that had been sat softly on her hair. No tiara but like a any Japanese veil we can find. "I'm ready." Ray announced, "So now what?" Zarc smiled warmly then goes to her. "Oh Ray, you look beautiful!" Zarc complimented as he looks so handsome to Ray's eyes. Something feels wrong though. Ray just can't put her finger on it. But whatever it is, it's nothing. Ray thanked Zarc but confused on why he is wearing a suit. Zarc laughed at her reaction, "I thought it looked ridiculous, but I knew I had to look my best... on my wedding night." Zarc showed his new bride the rings and Ray gasped in surprise, covering her mouth. Tearing up in happiness, Ray ran into Zarc, who his arms is out for her to jump into. "I'm so happy." Ray admitted, crying tears of joy. The newly wedded couple then kissed passionately as the ring slipped to Ray's ring finger with the thought in Zarc's mind, 'I know just what to do.' In no time, they went to their bedroom and the two spend the night making love, over and over, as Zarc's plan secretly unfolds. Meanwhile Odd Eyes corners Ray's bodyguard... and chomps him up whole! "Man this is really gonna leave me a bad stomach ache." Odd eyes said to himself, "That's the last time I do something for Zarc that will hurt my stomach."
