Outside the Headquarters
Numerous boom tubes visibly pop open.
Resistance forces come together, readying their respective attacks. They stand by the cliff, set to blow Parademons' heads off.. As they were at range to lock onto same species, that caused widespread destruction for five years, they mistaken the assumption for a different type. A type of beasts they didn't expect to come from the boom tube.
Associates looked in wonder at who they're dealing with, even muttering it to their friends, whom had no idea what they are. Some could familiarise the features embedded on each specie's body parts. Much known to Batman's proteges.
"We've seen those types before", Barbara claims.
"It's Doomsday", Dick conformed. "Same ones that killed Clark decades ago".
"Killed Superman?!", Tim exclaimed, bursting out air uncontrollably.
Dick and Barbara nodded. Everyone noticed and aren't thrilled for what's about to come to them.
Inside the Headquarters
Felicity and Iris monitor on the holo-screens, pondering on who they are perceiving.
"They're way different. So creepy...", Felicity observes.
The two girls watch as the differed creatures, almost compared to the Parademons, shut one by one; each member of the big league, putting them to their permanent sleeps. Iris and Felicity begin to get horrified at the most brutal deaths they've ever seen. Certainly they've seen brutal circumstances before but in this scenes they discern, it's the worst thing straight worser than the horror films they've perceived before.
That's the only thing that gets them all worrying, the entrance door starts to quaver out of control. Jumping a big lash at Felicity and Iris's reaction as they now witness the coming Parademon lookalikes flying to their point.
Dark Supergirl's Station
Kara monitors on the screens before her eyes. Causes her to evilly grin, feeling the taste of death like she generally does. Her silence gets shattered like glass when she perceives in terms of hearing the sound of a boom tube. A portal behind her. And the thuds of the steps planked on the floors.
"Using allies of yours as a distraction to lay me into. I knew it even way before you deduced that thought. It's what you always do in our crossover team ups. Or when we formerly worked as colleague for the founded Justice league empire", said Dark Supergirl, whilst hinting bits of giggles in her tongue.
"Our team can handle it. I have belief they will make it through even if it costs them their lives. Their deaths won't be in vain", Barry's voice flows into Kara's ears.
"Is that a fact Barry?", Kara raises, turning around to fully confront her former friends. Accompanied by a wide smile, almost sharp as his devilish ego. "You haven't seen the things I sent in your world have you?". Everyone overlays confusion at what Kara meant by her words.
"Kara Zor-El-Queen. More universes are heavily going extinct", Kalex addressed.
"Now that's what I'd like to hear", Kara remarks, continuing to gaze at Barry, Caitlin, Cisco, Gypsy, Nora, Zoe, Dinah, Roy, Thea, Mia, and Bruce. When she looked at Bruce, she was
eye-opened. She would've guessed it was a different one but the features displayed on his face told otherwise for her. "Never sought the revelation to see you Bruce. Died over 20 years, and yet the Bat still lives on. Normally I could've easily said you are the Bruce Wayne that Barry snatched from another universe, but seeing your looks, you are very different. His tone was so much dark. But yours; it's gone papa soft. Maybe because Superman lightened you at a lesser degree than the persona you used that you pushed Dick away", the latter mocks. "Either way, you are an enemy. An enemy is an enemy".
"And you're the one who started it at the very beginning", Thea shot a point.
"Trying to play hero Thea?", Kara mocked on Thea. "You should be on my side. Together we could've put balance to this dying multiverse. We would've prevented anymore crises. And could've build a resolution that would honour our Oliver Queen".
"What my brother wanted was for you to have sanctity in showing the utmost paragon of hope. To build a better legacy, to inspire people. Not kill them with such rashness that you can kill billions. Trillions probably. Accounted in a whole wide variety of universes in a multiverse", said Thea. "Doing your evil course of actions won't solve the case of bringing back Oliver".
"Oh but time hops to the past will. Company in the case of my most godly source", said Kara."For now I can't wait to see the looks on your faces to not only lose the ones you love from Earth-1 but an army you built".
"Ones we love?", Barry catches.
"Iris. Felicity...", Kara, in short terms, listed.
"We'll get them back Barry", Caitlin assured. She slowly transitioned into her Frost counterpart.
"Frost from the Frost. Vibrational blasts from the two lovers Cisco and Gypsy. And two speedsters. I like those odds. A wonderful combination, given from Team Flash. Well played", Kara remarks.
"You'll be more impressed when you have to catch all of us", Barry taunted, in immense anger, tempered by the loss of Iris and Felicity. Barry zaps his speed out of the monitors room.
"To chase you? Sounds like a stall", Kara comments.
"Well you'll be in a lot more hell when me and Barry shut this entire fortress down into ashes", Wally taunted, indirectly reminding Dark Supergirl of William's incubation. "You're choice". Wally instantly speeds out, following up with Barry's exact directions. Both speedster suddenly turned to roll in vertical circles in the same room Kara is in.
Cisco, Gypsy, and Frost emit their respective shots. Sound blasts and a bolt of breeze directed at Dark Supergirl, whom is fazed by the merged attacks of Team Flash.
Two speedster intertwine in opposite directions. Briefly stood by Cisco, Gypsy and Frost's point. They throw their blaze of pale-yellow static charges at the Girl of Steel, whom was untouched but finding the ticklish a nuisance. It didn't reach to that extent. An additional amounts of arrows, from Roy and Thea. Plus the sonic bursts from Dinah and Zoe respectively.
Nora had already sped Mia and Bruce out of the room, which gave Team Flash the bigger field to occupy Dark Supergirl's attention more easily.
Kara would've sensed Wally and Barry's movements but the combined shots from Dinah, Zoe, Roy, Cisco, Gypsy and Frost are averting her from doing so.
Barry and Wally multiples times swing their legs and fists at Dark Supergirl. A hundreds times to count, slashing her at every side as they see fit. The combined attacks of Team Flash slowly pushes Kara back. A slow pace back. Making Dark Supergirl grit her teeth as she hangs her arms into a form of shield. Then her legs fold into a close, with her arms, turning her into a bowling ball.
"Thea. Find Linda", Roy ordered.
"What about-?", Thea attempted ask but was cut off.
"Never mind about me. This won't hold for long", Roy deems. "They need to breach back so they'd be safe".
Thea slowly nodded, understanding the situation in a greater perspective.
Nora drifted Mia and Bruce to William's medical bay.
Mia thrusts her fist at the door, smashing it down. She looks on over to William, being treated by the hands of effort.
Bruce knows this handed situation. He's seen the experience deduced to other people. A coma.
"A coma?", Bruce claims.
"My brother was affected by some infection that was once used by New Genesis to kill Apokolips if it ever went rogue again", said Mia. "Went into a total fail and now my brother is affected".
"I might be able to restore you brother", Bruce claimed.
"Tell me", Mia begged, with the tense of a quantity of emotions built inside her.
Bruce showcases the dark glow on his ring. "It can break apart your brother unless someone enters inside to convince him whatever he's seeing isn't real".
"Real?", Mia catches.
"I've seen these cases before. Similar but vastly different in regards to the different causes of attributions. Your mother was once fell into a deep sleep because of the Black Mercy", said Bruce. "I don't know what kind of virus New Genesis threw, but I'm guessing High Father wanted to neutralise them with no harm done".
Mia glances over to William's side, remembering a vow she secretively made. An additional one made when she saw a recorded video of her father.
"I'll go", Mia volunteers.
"It is risky", Bruce warned.
"I'm used to risks"
"Just like your father", Bruce remarks. Latter settles his position with the ring, flaring a black visible wave that covers Mia and William's motionless body. Both veiled in a stream of dark light.
William's Vision
A instant white sourced figure bangs in the scene inside a man's mind. Mia fades into her natural colours, presented visually in the presence in else-world's dream. Mia scouts around only to meet the balled eyes of three figures. She soon discovers she is in an beautiful apartment. The latter silently gasps, so perplexed at where she's in. And hopes Bruce had taken her to the right sphere.
"Who the hell are you?", the man, assumed to be the father, stands up to confront front-to-front with Mia, whom the latter continues to remain surprised.
Mia glances over to a little boy, a baby, and one presumed to be the mother, whom Mia clearly recognises.
"Mom?! Dad?!", Mia exclaims to both the parents she identifies. Lifts a therm in confusion to the parents as they both exchange glances to each other, known to Mia. Latter then directs her gaze to a young boy, whom makes a mark on feeling like he's seen her before. Mia also certified the looks of the little boy, comparing it to her brother, whom was at reach in his adulthood.
"William stay here, and take care of Mia", the mother requested to the young William as she hands the baby, she formerly carried, to William. William was greatly focused on an impression that he's seen this lady before.
"I repeat. Who the hell are you?", the father demands with braved boldness and sentimental guardianship. His hands clench into a gripping fist.
"Dad it's me. It's Mia", Mia tried convincing her father, added with gestures of her arms directed at herself.
"Don't play games with you!", the supposed father didn't buy the adult Mia's words. "Are you one of Diaz's lackeys? The president's spy?! Tell me before-". He was cut off when he was suddenly pushed with such intense force that he was pushed paces back, surprising the mom, in which it prompted her to blur one beat to a hidden area, then back.
Mia overlooks the dress her mom wears. It's greatly different from the black and red attire her current-aligned-to-her-timeline mother, who is immoral. This person had the light tone of blue plated suit. A symbol of S centred on her chest, the crest. And she dons a red cape, much to Mia's utter wish that her brand of mum could stick the lighter appearance.
"Supergirl", Mia deems.
The Girl of Steel ponders on thinking about how the young adult isn't surprised to see her. She was about to go in to engage with Mia only to be held back by a soft gripped hand on her arm. Supergirl twirls her head to realise it was William who was stopping her.
"William?" Supergirl exclaimed.
"Wait! I need to know something", William requested, which pleases Mia in somewhat way.
A man soon recovers from the paced back force he received from Mia. He leaps into the air, standing beside Supergirl. He glances to his child.
"William what do you think you're doing?", the dad questioned.
"I think I know her", William believed, gazing over to the adult Mia.
Mia inches a wide up her eyes, wondering if this is the William he was searching for, which is absurd. Seeing a young version Mia made conversant from the photograph she perceived.
"Thought I told you to not befriend strangers way older than you William", dad said. "You told me a few times you got bullied in your previous schools".
"It's not any one of a friend kind. I know her. She's...", William tries saying. His tone fills the mood of confidence in him. "...it's my sister. Your daughter. Mom. Dad. It's Mia".
Both parents twirl to note a version of Mia they aren't known of, or aware they had an older daughter.
Mia sees the squeezed sloped skins in her parents faces, glimmering in wonders. The two come closer and closer to Mia's direction. The youthful adult remains slightly calm and positioned in stationary. As the man forwards his hand, also gesturing the question if he could touch her, which Mia allows. The latter couldn't hold the tears within her. Meeting a dad in someone else's dream world is crazy, and it turned bad for her when she instinctively pushed her back, which she was tempted to apologise but held back.
As the man spreads his touch arousing over Mia's cheek and forehead smoothly, he detects this glimpsed feeling that he can compare it to his born daughter.
"Mia?", the dad asks.
Mia takes the time acknowledge his father actually pronouncing her name clearly with no hesitation. She then nods.
"It is me dad", Mia speaks, under the cries she uplifts in her boundaries. No delay or regret, she lunges into her father, wrapping her arms, squeezing him. Her extinguishable fluids heap up out her eyes. In which her dad noticed. "I missed you so much. I. I. I watched you...". Mia couldn't hold herself together. Her mind is scattered into distinct elements.
William hyped in agony, sequencing a tally of flashbacks he experienced in those events. The manifold events of each crises. The endgame. And himself finally meeting his sister, which didn't turn out in a respected greet.
"William?", her mom calls, prompting William to lift his eyes to gaze at her mother. His eyes trembled in fear, remembering the chaos her mother caused in that event. "William?", she repeated. "Are you okay?".
The little boy shook his head sideways length, not knowing what he sees now. "I don't know", he said. "My head. It's so messed up".
"Whatever you're seeing William, it isn't real", Mia addressed, undergoing a bit of her heart attack. Saying it, broke her. It even shocks the parents as they are left in disbelief. Including William, whom stared at her, shortly open-mouthed. "You were infected with a virus that instantly putted you into a coma".
"A coma?", William caught, while shocked to hear it. He recalled a faint tingle of passing out, though he can't remember the exact cause of it. "That explains why all this fantasy of mine is incubated to project real-life images of what I wanted. A loving family. My own sister. Everyone sticked together like glue. This is my life".
Mia could see it in her eyes as she sees William holding what appears to be her younger self. A baby. Didn't startle Mia as she had a thought of a some fantasy of William's would incorporate on Mia and William in one whole family. Mia herself wanted the same thing, though she never expressed it to anyone. Part of her wanted to but her personality dominates her temptations.
"I'm sorry William", Mia apologises to the young boy who derived his head down, feeling too emotional to respond. "Look. It's not easy for me to say it too". She glances to both her parents. "Oliver Queen. Kara Zor-El. They're the best ones we had that would want us brought together. The best people we admired to love as family. I wanted us a whole. I wanted everything. But it couldn't because of the hardship, the hard choices, and the pressure our parents endured". William beams his watery eyes on Mia. "You once told me parents aren't perfect William. You're right. They aren't. But one scarab piece you missed out is we can always change it. Make it better. Change the future". Mia finalises a final commencement in her face. A calm slouch to make certain she can keep her calmness to try to help her brother. "I saw a video of my father recorded for me. And expressed his wishes for you". William moulds into a perplexed look, expressing he doesn't understand what she means by it. "He believes that we can make a difference. And puts his life to believe we can accomplish it if we work together. And I need you more than anything. You're the only family I have left, that can hold me together". Mia finally lets her true self out, finally showing it to William, whom was very surprised. Both now seeing the caring side of Mia, and the gain of support from her late father.
William, whilst carrying Mia whom cheers in amazement possibly regarded certain in the interaction between him and Mia, looks low to see Mia offering her hand. A kind of a handshake. William raises his head to run with Mia's eyes. William occupies his time to process everything he heard from Mia, before tilting to Oliver and Kara. The two, whom understood the situation between them, nodded to William to go for the path he's destined to awaken in. William takes one hand out from attaching the baby Mia, as the other still holds onto her. The loosened hand staples on Mia's offered hand. Both hands intertwined, producing a shaky white illumination between them. A beacon of light that slowly devours the young William and Mia.
"Take care of your selves. William. Mia", Oliver projects his thought of wish to his son and daughter.
Real World
Dark Supergirl's Station
A veil of black lusted light fades down. Bruce and Nora noticed it, but gave their hopes that William and Mia somehow made it. The embellish of light shades its natural peak as Bruce and Nora discern at Mia resting on William's shoulder.
Nora runs to Mia's side, shaking her by thrusting on her shoulder. She calls her multiple times until Mia nudges a movement. Nora spaces back, to provide Mia to re-posture herself.
As Mia, at time of reaching her full awakening, looks down on William. The latter begins prodding a movement. His eyes twitch. He designates in gasping for air. Until he finally opens his eyes. Wider eyes to look to his right by the side of her caring sister.
"Mia. You're-?", William was cut off as he groped in backlash of the compact drip Mia gives to William, wrapping her arms around William. Her superpowers were overflowing, reacting to the eagerness Mia portrays to her brother.
Bruce glances behind, knowing both Mia and William are okay. Nora lingers in silence as she awaits for the children of Oliver and Kara to part hugs. Which finally happened.
Mia gestures to help William, whom was shirtless, making him stand up. She blurs to grab William's shirt and jacket, and fastens it on William's upper body.
Everything shook from an unqualified force. So impacted that it threw Nora, Bruce, William and Mia to stutter. A hole was therefore produced. Now known to the four as they perceive Cisco, Gypsy, Wally, Barry, and Caitlin pulled back by air's forced gravity.
Nora runs up to Barry, crying to the latter only for Barry to raise his hand to stop her.
"What'd I miss?", William asked, directing to Mia, after the duo, along with Bruce, stood back up.
"Facing the wrath of our mom's eradication", Mia proclaims to William.
They observe numerous bruises placed on members of Team Flash, including Barry, whom hardly has full gaze on her daughter.
"Mia I want you to promise me something", Barry gaining Nora's full eyes as she kneels down close to him. Barry briefs a look to the direction of where Kara would appearing any second, before staring back at her Nora. "No matter what changes you'd scrutinise. Ripples that could change the future, erase all of us in existence. Possibly for you. Maybe you'd survive. God knows what'd happen to you. I want you to promise me that you'll make it. Come back to your parents arms. Our arms. And tell them how much you love them with all your heart. And tell Iris I wished we'd, as a family, could page a true holiday, that I am sorry for wasting it all for my ego".
"I will", Nora vowed bitterly. Bits of crispy water drool down from her eyes, overtaking her as far to not being able to speak properly.
The Flash takes his cowl off, presenting at the front of Nora, his true face. A face that Nora considers a face of a father she loves.
"I love you Nora. You will always be the girl I love in my heart. You are what completes us. The West-Allen. Sum of love. No matter how many times you advance to Eobard's side", said Barry. The last line left Nora genuinely shocked.
"Dad. I-"
"It's okay", Barry reassures her daughter, staking his hand onto Nora's cheek. "I trust you with all my heart. Now fulfil what you must do".
"SHE'S COMING!", Cisco addresses only to be marked off by a burst of red heat that easily vaporised Cisco. His corpse soon disintegrates.
"Cisco-", Gypsy cries but was shut out by the same beam that drove her into the same burnt process as her lover.
Wally ceased into the bucks of fiery fire.
Caitlin, whom laid unconscious, was next to die.
Barry saw their deaths and knew he was next. He had no strength in limb to avoid a heat vision. He instead turned to Nora with an assuring look. A fatherly smile. One Nora would never forget. "Goodbye my daughter". Barry's last line almost felt like an echo. A telepathic line to Nora. Until it went silent. Barry was the last to fall as last corpse.
Nora squeals out of losing her mental control, witnessing the death of the last parent she had left.
"Jesus Christ", William exclaimed.
"We have to move! Now!", Bruce addressed, directing to his surroundings. Whilst feeling guilty he couldn't have enough to drag Barry the emission was so instant.
Dark Supergirl emerges from the hole she created when she blew members of Team Flash to collide with the walls. The latter holds Roy by the grip of his neck.
"Roy!", William exclaims.
It was too late for any of them to save him. Roy was completely deteriorated.
"I'm sorry. William. Mia. You didn't have to get so traumatised", said Kara.
"What you did mom is beyond redemption!", Mia shouted. She was bout to engage with her mother but a glowing flash arrow was shot at Kara, momentarily blinding her.
The group look to their right, perceiving Thea who was responsible for the shootout. She wasn't alone.
"Auntie Thea? Linda?!", William exclaimed.
Thea flicks three explosive arrows on Kara, pushing her a few steps back, hitting a wall, which reacted into smoke.
Thea strolls to the team, glancing everyone she catches sight.
"I guess this is goodbye", Thea deems, handing Linda, whom was, in actual fact, calm, to William.
"You're not coming?", Mia asks.
Thea shook her head, in the format in horizontal axis. "Someone has to stay to slow her down", she addresses. Thea glances to Nora. "From what I've heard. Speedster take a quantity of time to split open a time breach. I'll buy you the time".
"Then I'll stay. Keep her busy", Mia says, positioning to stand alongside her aunt.
"You can't Mia", Thea said. Mia looks up to her aunt. "You have a mission. Not because it's your destiny. But because I love you". She spray her eye lines to William and Linda. "This will be the last time we meet. For this Thea Queen. But the past Thea, you will, with no question, see". She subsequently, as final occasion, focused her eyes on Mia. "You're just like your father. Those eyes are his. His fierce skin dwells inside you. Like a burning fire. You are so much like him. My brother". The words of compliment slowly crumbles inside Thea. "Take care of your brother. Your younger sister. They will need someone who is willing to vote for the hardships. The steel of passion. And someone who will hold family in close arms".
Mia had no word to say. Rather she jumped right into Thea, giving her one last hug. Followed by Linda and William.
"Take of yourselves", Thea gives her hopes.
The two sides process their separation as Thea leaps into the air to confront Dark Supergirl, whom quickly recovered. The two clashed head on.
Nora encloses her blaze of thunderous yellow-pink bolts around Bruce, Linda, William and Mia. Springing them out.
Tenanted in all the corridors, Nora circulates around and around, dispatching slowly a mere portal. The portal slowly enlarges itself every pass in strike the diving speedster knocks on.
Seconds pass and in mere points, the portal's size is measured in its proper phase for Nora, Linda, William, Mia and Bruce to hop in.
Unbeknownst the four, Dark Supergirl propelled in crashing through several walls. In a shredded second, Kara made it inside the portal that Nora extinguished, entering its premises.
Speed Force
Nora paddles in maximum speed, ignoring the huffs she's buzzing out. Her uttermost pursuit was to bring herself, Bruce, William, Linda and Mia back to the year 2019. At least they thought it'd be easy.
The four discern the screams of a raging flying lady howling in anger as she thrusts her body in top mach.
"She's back", Nora addresses to her allies.
"Keep pacing", Bruce advised. "Don't stop".
Dark Supergirl returns in full flesh, attempting to harvest up the pace she requires to catch up to them.
Reaching Nora's point in a slink of time, Kara stretches her hand, trying to take hold of Nora, the latter whom noticed. Nora vibrates every enemy molecule inside her to cycle inside her, charge the energy inside to release more speed to outpace her predator.
"You can't outrun me Nora. You will...die!", Kara avowed. She thrusted all the wind, that bordered her, to slide to her back as residues of wasted intense overflowing wind.
"Keep pushing Nora! We all believe in you!", William expressed. Their hopes heartened Nora, citing to the point that her speed gradually increases, finally outrunning Kara again. Their problem didn't just occur with Kara. In a surprising moment, the speed force compacts into a firm drift. It shakes itself to higher degrees.
"What's happening with the Speed Force?", William asked, knowing whatever is causing their background to shake, it's the Speed Force they're in.
"It's closing itself", Bruce proclaims. Perceiving at Kara's end, he sees a tunnel munching in on itself, slowing getting closer to Kara's point.
"Closing?", Mia exclaimed, assuming in chance they'd die.
"The timeline is catching up. The changes in the past I caused, it's staging a new set. It could kill us", said Nora, expressing some knowledge she was taught from her father.
"Move faster!", William, panicking, requested to Nora.
Nora moves past her limits, thrusting every limit that was placed in her body so much further.
William, Linda, Mia and Bruce advance to stare at Kara, whom noticed the deterioration of the Speed Force squeezing in. Kara tries to urge every energy inside to exceed far beyond her own limits, but it came too late when she, in instance, gets grasped by the holds of the Speed Force.
Everyone thought she'd instantly get erased from her existence by the jarring effects that accelerate a living body million years past its age. But in Kara's case, she has shielded herself by sustaining a dark smoggy aura.
"What does it take to slow her down?", William questioned.
Suddenly, they undergo the same trembling walk-through. It wasn't welcoming.
"What now?", Mia questioned. Latter has folded Linda into her personal custody.
Nora glances back, ahead with her allies. They observe Kara's bagged defence system colliding with the holds given from this realm.
"The collision between Kara's shelter and the Speed Force's holds aiming on her, it's destabilising", Nora explains the situation.
The variance increases to bigger levels, going further to breaking everything down. And everyone. Nora begins to lose her firm hold to latch onto paddling more speed. It shakes at excessive greater heights. The balance between Dark Supergirl and the Speed Force unleashes an enormous illumination of fire and darkness, a forwarded-force that fastens to Nora's reach.
"Hang on", Bruce assures. The latter raises his powered Black Lantern Ring, creating a force-fielded sphere, rousing around Bruce, Mia, Linda, William, and Nora. The greater distanced fire, fused with Kara's dark aura pages over Bruce's protected shield.
Everyone's eyesight are turned black. No high pitched sounds they can catch. It was silent as being in a dark void. For eternity.
