Chapter 25: Getting Ready for the Honeymoon
It's been twenty four hours now since Ray began to live with Zarc. We find Ray cleaning the kitchen since one of her monsters blew it up by mistake and Zarc is heading to the kitchen to grab him a can of soda. As he does, Out came of nowhere, is Odd Eye's nephew: Scrap eyes. "I am scrap eyes! Here me roar!" The small dragling cried, "Those guys don't take a chance with me or you zarc!" Scrap eyes then begins to hop around, doing little punches as he moves. "Let me at 'em! I'll rock 'em! I'll sock 'em!" Much to Zarc's annoyance, he picks up Scraps and then tosses him aside like a rag doll. "That's enough of that," Zarc suggested, "I want to spend some time with my wife." Zarc walked over to Ray and hugs her warmly, who is finishing scrubbing a burnt on stain on the stove. "I home while you're asleep." Zarc announced. yes he did came home til later in the evening due to his job. At least he came home to find his wife asleep earlier. "You weren't too lonely without me." Zarc assumed, "Were you?" Ray smiled warmly, placing her hands on his where he is hugging on her. "Well I do got lonely a little," Ray admitted, "But that's okay my music fairies and the girls kept me company." Ray then got out of the hug and begins dusting the bedroom. She sneezed from so much dust on the surfaces of Zarc's furniture. Seriously?! When's the last time Zarc dusted?! She sniffled then got back dusting as Zarc is at the door way of the bedroom, placing his arm on the frame. "Well if it helps," Zarc begins to speak, "You didn't miss much at the games today." Ray is relieved from the news as she then dusted the knick knacks Zarc has on his book case. "That reminds me, how is the duel?" She asked Zarc went inside their bedroom. "Easy duels, I swept it!" Zarc answered. He goes to Ray then scoops Ray up to carry her in his arms. "But...now, I'm going to make up for some lost time!" Zarc nuzzled Ray's neck as she then shivered to the touch. Of course Ray stopped him for a minute so she can talk. "That's great zarc!" She complimented, "I hope I be duel with you again." She saddened once more from the thought of her father's. "But my dad would do the same thing than before." Then Zarc got an idea, an awesome idea. Zarc Diablou got a wonderful, awesome idea. "I have an idea!" Zarc spoke with a warm smile, "How about we go away for a while?" Zarc then asked his wife about going to the honeymoon to celebrate, giving Ray some glee. " I'll take care of everything." Zarc spoke then begins to ask, "Where would you like to go?" Ray nodded in excitement and did some thinking on where to go then found a destination. "Well, do you like tropical places?" she asked, "We can go to the Bahamas." Oh the Bahamas Zarc thought. There he can enjoy sunny skies and beaches without all the stress to get. Zarc looked at Ray once again. "Then it's settled," Zarc agreed, "We'll go to the Bahamas! Just you, me and the monsters!" Zarc then scooped Ray up and took her to their bed. "But for now..." spoke the demon as he then tosses her lightly onto the bed, climbing on top of her next, "Let's have some sex." Ray smiled seductively then kissed him on the lips in the passionate way.
The next morning, Zarc kept his word, and books the tickets. They are supposed to leave a week from now and we find Ray brushing her hair, before putting them up into her usual pigtails. "So everything set?" asked the wife who is now finished brushing her hair. Zarc got everything set for the Honeymoon. " Start packing up honey," Zarc ordered, "I've got us booked for 2 weeks at a 5 star luxury resort!" Ray is excited that Zarc booked them such resort. "Oh that's awesome!" Ray exclaimed in excitement, "I'm so lucky to have you." Ray then hugged her husband and in return, Zarc squeezed her warmly. Outside of the doorway is Schuberta who is waiting for Zarc to leave the room. "Well better get packing." Ray then went to their walk in closet and pulls out her pink suitcase for the trip. Once Zarc left the room, Schuberta goes to her mistress who is packing. Ray looked over her monster as she packs. "Something you need Schuberta?" she asked. Schuberta pushed her mask in as it slips a bit. "Mistress, I beg of you, return to your father and leave that man!" The music fairy begged because she's on to Zarc, "Do not go with him!" Ray rolled her eyes as her way of saying here we go again. "Schuberta Zarc is a gentleman, besides I am not going back to my dad!" Ray spoke in a stern voice, "Not after what he did to tear me and zarc apart." Schuberta won't take no for an answer. Only a fool would do such thing. Schuberta gets even more upset but not really throwing a tantrum. "Your father was right!" Schuberta snapped, "Zarc is no gentleman, he is a demon, he's lying to you!" Ray packed her bathing suit that she will wear for the honey moon then looked at Schuberta. "I know." Ray said. The two girls then begins to argue. Of course it stopped for a minute as Schuberta noticed Ray knew that Zarc's a demon. How does she know? However she did it, Schuberta is quite shocked. "Anyways." spoke the woman who is getting back into the subject. "schuberta no matter what species he is, human or not, I will love him til death." Schuberta protested in anger even more. "Mistress, I mist protest!" Schuberta yelled, "Whatever Zarc is, your life is in danger! Leave this place! Leave him!" Soon the argument attracted Ray's husband. how to tell is we find Zarc poking his head into the bedroom. "Is everything alright in here?" he asked. Schuberta turned and found Zarc noticing. "Que pado." Ray answered. (a/n Family Guy reference.) Schuberta then left the room in anger, passing by Zarc. Zarc followed Schuberta who is now in the kitchen in anger. "I saw that." The demon said as he then grabbed Schuberta's card and puts her into his pocket. All we hear from Schuberta is a muffled yell of "Hey!"
After a few minutes of packing, Zarc went to the bedroom to check on his wife. "Hey there Ray," The demon greeted, "All packed?" Ray looked at her husband and sighed as she turned. "Yup all packed." Ray said. Ray sat down next to her suitcase, on her bed, then looked up to Zarc. "Sorry about the noise Zarc." Ray apologized, "She really talk back rudely to me. Normally she never does that." Indeed Ray's right; normally Schuberta was never rude in a protesting manner. That's not Schuberta at all. But whatever ticked off the melodious Maestra, it has something to do with Zarc. "Really?" Zarc asked in shock, "That's awful honey!" Zarc helped Ray up and grabbed her packed stuff for the trip. "I'm sorry." The demon apologized as he's helping Ray get out of the penthouse, "Don't worry, I'll see that it gets taken care of." Soon they got out of the door and walked downstairs, heading to the car. Ray put her suitcases into the trunk of Zarc's car as she is then laid back on the car. "Wait right here," The husband ordered, "I'm just going to grab a few more things from the apartment." Ray understood then pulls out her phone to keep her busy. While at it, Zarc slowly walks back up the stairs, with Schuberta still in his pocket. He reaches the kitchen, and pulls the card out. Schuberta is now angry at Zarc as she crosses her arms. Zarc is not amused on the look on her face. Apparently he and her don't trust each other, slightly trusting each other but ninety five percent of it is they don't trust each other at all. " Why did you do that?" Zarc angrily asked, "Why did you try to break us up?" Schuberta stood up as she is not in her card at this moment. "You listen here Satan (a/n Woah easy there girl)." Schuberta explained in anger, "You can make good manicures, you can make good tamales, but I will not allow you to make a good influence on my friend." Schuberta got closer to Zarc with a point on her fingertip. "I know you're up to something." The monster accused, "You corrupted my mistress's mind, but you failed to make her forget." Zarc folded his arms in showing that he isn't scared of Schuberta. "Oh, you're concerned." Admitted the demon, "Don't be. I'd never harm Ray. She's too precious to me. The only thing in this world that I love. Now why would you want us to break up?" Schuberta got even more angry at the demon. "According to Leo, you are a demon." Zarc chuckled evilly, finding that Schuberta is on to him. " I am, and I fully intend to be one," Point made by Zarc, "But I'd never hurt Ray." Zarc got closer to Schuberta as he goes to the kitchen counter, where a few drawers are at for things like wash cloths or silverware to be stored. "But, the same can't be said for people who get in the way of our happiness. Like you." Zarc then reaches into the drawer and pulls out the kitchen lighter. He sets Shuberta's card on fire. In that reaction, Schuberta yells in pain and land into the sink filled with water putting herself out as it does on the card, since she hides in there. The female monster sighs in relief when she is at the water. "Ok I learned too much, Best I keep quiet." Schubeta vowed, "But I still don't trust you." Zarc looked at the monster with his golden, yellow eyes. "Good. That's your warning." Zarc spoke, "I won't be merciful next time." Zarc then puts the lighter away in the drawer, and puts Schuberta's card in there too. She doesn't get to come on the trip. After that Zarc heads back downstairs to check his wife who is outside of the car and the rest of the monsters inside the car. "Alright sweetie!" Zarc spoke in slight happiness, enjoying the daylight, "Ready to hit the road?" Ray answered yup and Scrap Eyes popped out of the window. "Ooooh!" Scrap eyes interjected, "I can't wait." Zarc then helps Ray into the car, kissing get her sweetly. With Ray giggling in joy, Zarc got in and turned the car on. in no time at all, they left to the airport.
Meanwhile, Schuberta found a way to open the drawer as the car then leaves. " Damn it," The female monster cursed, "Oh well at least I had the whole apartment to myself. Schuberta Looks at the ugly tree like plant and other stuff that is in the living room. Then it hit her. Who would take care of the house til Zarc and the rest of the gang come back? Since Schuberta is the only monster left behind and be able to go, she spoke, "Of course I have things to do for them." Schuberta grabs a watering can so she can water the plants. "Well, time to get to work."
