Chapter 26: Trouble at the Road and at the Airport
Zarc was driving to the Airport and the radio seems to be reporting on people with severe injuries in dueling events. Zarc smiles a little and checks his phone. He has a new app he's playing with. We don't know what it is but he is kinda fixated to it. Ray's enjoying the breeze in her hair as the dragons danced to one song that the radio came up next. Zarc put his phone down so he can pay attention to the road (a/n Smart thinking Zarc). Ray looked at Zarc who is still driving. Oh I am so excited." spoke the wife, "I even like odd eyes nephew." Curiosity aroused in Ray. Why is Scrap Eyes that bad to Zarc? He's too cute to be bad. Ray look to the road, seeing trees passing by. "I don't get why you don't like him." Ray stated the obvious, "He's cute." Zarc looked at his wife with his eyes as he is trying to drive more. "I don't dislike him, though he can be annoying." Zarc patted Scrap Eyes on the head from behind then went back driving. At the back seat we find Star all dressed in a hoodie and sunglasses that she borrowed from Ray as she is not amused. Dark Rebellion look at the harpy Xyz monster in confusion. "I know this might be a silly question," Dark Rebellion stated the obvious." But why are you dressed like that?" Star glared at the Xyz dragon with a low caw of a raven in her mouth. "Call me fat, then down with your eyes." The female bird monster threatened. Scared, Dark Rebellion popped his head to between the couple in the front seats. "Master," Dark Rebellion sheepishly got his master's attention, "Star is not happy with me." He then look at Ray, "Is there something I said?" Dark Rebellion asked. Ray giggle softly, "Oh don't fret Dark Rebellion." Ray reassured, "Star is just having one of her periods is all." Yes that time of the month. What us girls have to go through. If a female human can go through such thing, so can the female monsters. Nothing to dangerous though unless you're one of those who can get super hormonal from it (a/n Which I can be but that's another story) but it can be a pain in the ass. With that said, Zarc keeps and eye on Ray and on the monsters to be sure they won't get it as well. 'This is going to be a long day.' Zarc thought, 'Let's just hope I survive from THAT.'
The gang soon arrived to the airport and they then begin to unload the trunk and putting the car away for when they get back. When they got inside, there is a large group of security men there. "Woah security." Ray spoke. Catherine, also on her period went through a mood swing that is involving anger. "THE HELL?!" Catherine blurted out, "DID THEY CAME TO RUIN OUR FUN?!" Scrap Eyes pops up and saw the security guards. " I can handle them!" Scrap Eyes volunteered and then went to security in fisticuffs. "Let me at 'em!" He said. Zarc then kicks Scraps away before things get worse. "What seems to be the problem gentlemen?" The head of Security came out among the other men to face Zarc. "Zarc, due to recent allegations of your involvement in the kidnapping of Ray Akaba, you cannot leave the country." Kidnapping of Ray Akaba?! Well that's absurd! Ray wasn't kidnapped by Zarc, She escaped the house with the help of Zarc. The head of security then has his arm out for the bags. "We'll need to check your bags as well." Ray got distraught and angry at the same time then tries to defend Zarc. "He didn't kidnap me!" Ray pointed out in anger, "He saved me like I'm a princess you big jerk!" Leo Akaba steps out of the group of security guards to face his daughter. How did he get here?! Did he just followed them to the airport?! Did Schuberta snitched on Zarc by telling Leo what happened?! No! Schuberta can't do that unless she is on the field. From the looks on Leo's face, he is not too happy with Ray and Zarc together and heading to their honeymoon. "Ray, that's enough," Said the man who fathered Ray, "We're going home." Home?! No! She doesn't want to go back to Leo! Not after what he had done before. Zarc gets between the daughter and the father. Of course that didn't stop Ray from kicking her dad, kung fu style. Ray ran away with Zarc as they, along with the monsters, try to escape to the plane.
Zarc and Ray don't get very far, before security stops them again. Airports are tricky like that. Soon Ray got caught and escorted back to the front and Zarc is held back and his bag is confiscated. Leo pushes Ray into his car, recovering from his nausea. Zarc isn't giving up easily. One of the security guards pushed him to the security building as Zarc thought up a plan. When inside Zarc turned off the lights inside the building and started to transform into his true form. From the looks on Zarc, he looks like a devil mixed with a dragon. his ears are now wing like appendages but still can hear. He his spikes all over him. He looks strong from how his muscle mass is and covered in a think armor of scales and skin. When Zarc looked up, his eyes are faintly glowing and his face is covered in a thin layer of scales on the skin. Zarc extended his claws and then begins to attack the security guards. Killing them with every single slash and bite and stab to the body. When Zarc was done, the inside of the security building was now already coated with thick layers of blood and gore. Zarc looked at the dead, mangled up bodies and he disposed of them by throwing them into the dragons who he has with him. "This is going to make me sick, so fucking much!" Odd eyes complained, Scrap Eyes saw what happened. "Zarc have you lost your mind?!" Zarc changed back then looked at Scraps. "Well I have to think of something." The demon excused as his voice sounded slightly low. Zarc used one of the spells that he learned from his aunt on how to clean himself up and got all the blood off of him and leaves the building. Once out, Zarc quietly shuts the door to security behind him, letting Ray hugs him. Somehow Ray escaped her father once more with another kick in the balls. Ray managed to hug Zarc again. Zarc looked at his wife. "Hey sweetie, you made it." Zarc's voice is very low and mellow, not like him at all. He picks up his bag and puts it over his shoulder. "Are you ready to go?" He asked as Zarc still sounded very low and mellow. "Let's get away!" Ray grabs her husband then they got in the plane quick as it begins to leave. Before forgetting Ray whistles for her monsters since they were looking for her and they got in with the couple. "Made it." Ray announced as they try to find a seat, "Maybe we can make a baby there." The couple found a seat for the flight. " Be patient honey," The demon reassured, "I think before we start a family, I want to... move out" With that said Zarc smirked as the plane takes off.
Meanwhile, Leo came back inside as he has pain in his testicles. Leo searched for his daughter once more and saw the security building. Opening the door, what we find inside of the security building is coated with thick layers of blood and gore. There's no one inside anymore. Leo sees the mess. This can not end well. 'Oh man,' Leo thought, 'This is worse than I thought.'
