Amy POV

It was dinner. I sat with Percy because, heck, I'm a Cabin 3 member. But I don't think I'll be spending much time in that Cabin. I needed to talk to Chiron about letting me roam past curfew. I was not in a mood to become Harpy chow.

"Corn Soup" Was all I said for my food. Percy looked astonished.

"Why aren't you eating more?" He asked.

"I don't have an appetite anymore" I said, shaking my head. He would too, if he'd been to that... Place three times. It was horrifying.

"But you're so thin!!" He exclaimed. Yeah sure, I was thin, but I was still fit. I wasn't starving, and my stomach got used to it.

I merely glanced at him, and then walked up to the fireplace pouring some of the soup and praying to all the Gods.

I heard Percy whispering to Annabeth, probably about my appetite. This was what happened if I stayed with people. They keep worrying about me and what I do. Its so much easier on my own.

I was the first to finish. Duh, just soup. I walked over to Chiron.

"Umm.. Chiron? Could I talk to you for a second?"

Chiron nodded, looking concerned. Thank the gods that he forgot about that incident.

"Of course Amy. Is there something wrong?"

"Sort of. I know I'm a Cabin 3 member, but I won't be using that Cabin. I can't sleep at all, otherwise... There will be a repeat of today, only much worse. So could you ask the Harpies to allow me to roam past curfew?"

Chiron thought about it for a while, and then nodded.

"Of course. I'll ask them right away. Thank you for bringing this to my notice"

I smiled a little, even though I wasn't feeling any better. I never felt better since that day, never have and never will.

Percy POV

I was really worried about my sister. Ok fine Half-sister, but I'm going to say sister because I don't want to say that big name. She wasn't eating, at all. I told Annabeth, and she said I should talk to her before the girls.

You know, blood calls to blood. But I was a little nervous. Amy at first glance looked so.. Cheerful. But after Wise-girl pointed out that she was putting up a front, I could clearly see the struggle she was facing.

The camp had gathered around the fire and we were singing. The flames turned bright Yellow, signalling that all the Campers present were happy.

It was only after the singing that I noticed Amy hadn't joined. I called Jason.

"Hey Jase!!! I need to talk to you!!" Jason came over with Piper.

"Did you see Amy?"

Piper and Jason looked shocked. I guess they didn't notice until now. That sort of hurts, knowing that even I didn't notice she was gone for a full 3 hours.

"No. We didn't!!" Jason exclaimed.

"I'm going to search for her" I said.

"We're coming too" Piper said. I nodded. I didn't want to alert anyone else yet, otherwise it would be full on full panic mode.

Jason searched the training area, Piper searched through all the Cabins, and I took the lake. I walked towards the lake, and there was no one there. I was about to walk back when I noticed foot prints leading into the lake.

She must have jumped inside. Jason and Piper came back running.

"She's not there!!" He said.

I pointed to the lake. "No... She's in there"

"I'm going to go inside" I said. They nodded.

"Do you want us to tell Annabeth?"

"Yep"

Piper smiled, and walked away. Jason was still there.

"She's... Not really happy is she? I thought she was... But I don't think so" So Sparky caught on.

"No.. Piper and Annabeth noticed. We didn't. I'm going to talk to Amy"

He nodded and walked away. Hopefully, she could breathe underwater. I mean, yeah She's a Poseidon kid, but I couldn't help but wonder. Or maybe I was just being a Seaweed Brain.

I jumped into the water and immediately found her. She was aimlessly swimming around, singing a song.

That's my ideal relaxation time.

I waded over to her.

"Hey Amy. Why weren't you at the camp after dinner?"

Amy, looking startled, blasting water all around her. I dodged.

"Oh I'm so sorry Percy!!"

"Nah it's fine. So.. What happened?"

She looked away, biting her lip. I have to convince her to tell me.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong. Why are you asking?"

"You look... Depressed"

She scoffed.

"That's deep. I'm not depressed."

"Ok fine maybe not depressed but... Sad.. Out of it..." I couldn't find the right words. Annabeth could have done much better than me.

"You are sad as well Percy. Annabeth is sad. Jason is sad. Almost all your friends are sad."

Dang it... She's right. How was I going to get her to tell me what was wrong? Small talk.

"What were you singing?"

She looked startled.

"What?"

"You were singing something before I swam towards you. What were you singing?"

"Oh... It's a song my best friend..." She trailed off, struggling to speak.

She abruptly twisted and swam to shore. Gods, she was stubborn.

I swam behind her, trying to catch up. She was fast. She got to shore and I could hear her run away.

I got to land and ran behind her.

"Amy stop!!! What's wrong??" I shouted.

She ran to Cabin 3 and locked it. I banged on the door

"Hey talk to me!!! What's wrong??" She didn't reply. Great, now what was I supposed to do?

Jason POV

Percy was shouting outside of the Cabin. Annabeth heard it as well. I ran behind her and approached Percy. Hazel and Nico were there too.

"Hey Percy!! What's wrong??" Hazel asked.

"I tried to talk to Amy under the lake. I asked her something, and she mentioned her Best friend? And then she swam away. I'm guessing something happened to her best friend" He said, sounding agitated.

Great... Amy was reliving a bad memory and none of us were there with her. Part of my mind marveled at the speed by which we got attached to her. Then again, I got attached to Piper and Leo that quickly.

"Hey Jason... Can you fly down there and help her?" Annabeth asked. I jumped. Me? Why me?

"Why me?" I asked, voicing my thought.

"Because only you can go down there Sparky" Nico said.

"Ok fine Death Breath"

I willed the winds to carry me, and I dropped down into Poseidon's Cabin silently.

I couldn't see anything at first, but I heard quiet sobbing. I turned to the corner of the room and spotted Amy curled up in a ball. She was rocking back and forth, and sobbing.

I walked towards her. Her head snapped up, and she backed away.. Well... Tried to.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, surprisingly without a hitch despite her, unhappy state.

"Umm.. We wanted to talk to you. "

"About?"

"What happened to you in your life..?"

Should I be saying it that frankly? (Pun unintended) is that a pun? I don't know that.. Oops... ADHD. Focus Jason.

"You don't need to know" She snapped.

"We want to help you"

"There is absolutely no way you can help me"

"Come on Amy!! Aren't you tired of being alone and sad??" I raised my voice even though I knew I shouldn't.

"No I'm not!! It is the only thing that keeps me alive!!! And it's staying that way!!" She shouted. Electricity crackled around her. Gods... Did I push her to far?

She started shaking, trying to control herself. Wind swirled around her, almost like a tornado. It's now or Never.

"Amy... You've had a best friend right?"

She nods her head. Ok, step one complete.

"Then... Wouldn't you want her to spend time with other people if you... Weren't there right?"

She stiffened, and for a second I thought I screwed up, but she nodded. YES!! Jason scores!!

"Fine.. How many people do you want me to tell to?" She was grumpy. Atleast I got what I came for.

"Open the door"

She sighed, and wrenched open the door. Percy came tumbling inside. She smiled.

"Nice to know my brother loves me so much so that he sends someone inside without even asking me"

Percy laughed, and the others came in. Piper and Frank were there as well.

"Good job Sparky" Nico said.

"Barely... I almost got blasted out of the Cabin"

Death Breath snickered.
