10. The Chase

Chapter 10: The Chase

After receiving the phone call, Lincoln visits Ronaldo Diaz at his mansion on Starfish Island. He sees Ronaldo watching a horse race game on his big television.

"Come on, baby, go! Yeah! Yeah! Arrrr!..." seeing that the horse he cheered on lost, he kicked the TV angrily, "Stupid horse! I'll chop your head off! Grrrr…." He then looks at Lincoln, "Who is this dickhead?"

He just simply replied, "Lincoln Vercetti. You remember me."

"Excuse me. I'm a little anxious." he says cooling off in his table after the recent loss of his horse. He then starts to kick the TV again "Never trust a goddamn horse!" He then looks at him and points, "You do a good job…You work for me now."

Lincoln uncaringly replied "I work for money."

Ronaldo just minded off his response "As I said, amigo, you work for me now." Lincoln was about to say something again to him but was immediately cut off " Shut up." While pacing around he explain to Lincoln on what to do. "Some Judas has betrayed me. He thinks I don't know how much money I should be making, but stealing 3% is as good as stealing 100%."

Then he looks back at him before going back to pacing "No one does this to me. NO ONE!"

"You follow him from his apartment and you see where he goes! Later, we will kill him."

Lincoln leaves the mansion and again says to his mind, "This asshole thinks he can mess with me? If this is the best Vice City has to offer…." He then smirked, "…This is going to be easy."

He drives to the apartment, after arriving he starts to look around to see where the gang leader is, he looks to where the leader's room is, but he sees nothing. At that moment, Lincoln realizes that the leader must be heading to the roof, once he turned around he sees the gang leader, about to escape. The leader also saw Lincoln coming.

"Ooh shit!"

Lincoln gives chase and runs after the leader, he reaches the roof and the leader attempts to shoot Lincoln, but luckily he misses.

"Loser." is what he said to him. The proceeds back to running. "Too slow grandad!"

Lincoln was triggered a bit, no one calls him a granddad, he shouted back "You better keep on running, asshole!"

The gang leader eventually rides off to a BF Injector that is waiting on the ground, Lincoln luckily manages to catch up to him and chases after him. After a lengthy chase, he manages to locate the location of the cash where the gang leader is hiding it.
