DISCLAIMER: I still don't own Harry Potter.

Ginny's POV

Harry took the letter from me as mum was coming downstairs.

"Good morning, loves" she said as she kissed our foreheads'.

"Morning mum" Harry and I said at the same time.

"What's that in you hand love?" She said nodding towards the letter in Harry's hand.

"It was in the post when I went to get it this morning. It's addressed to him specifically" I told her.

"Yeah" Harry agreed.

"Well why don't you open it; find out what's in it." She said while trying to open a new jar of peanut butter.

"Yeah, why don't you Green-Eyes?" I told Harry, looking at him pointedly.

"Well Red-Head" He started in a mocking tone,"I just about to before mum came downstairs." He finished.

"Well all the better, now I can hear it too" she said.

(AN: I don't exactly remember what the letter said, so I'm not even gonna try. Just pretend this little chunk is the letter. Sorry!)

"Is this a joke?" he asked no one in particular.

"Red, did someone put you up to this?" He accused.

"No! I swear!" I practically yelled.

"Wait Harry there's something written on the back!" I told him.

"Dear Harry, there's something else that I need to tell you but, it's much too important to tell you over a letter. Today at noon, someone will come to your home and explain it all to you. I hope you understand. Best regards, Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." He read

"Okay that's enough Red, tell me what's really going on." He said sounding annoyed.

"I've already told you it wasn't me! Don't you believe me?" I asked him.

"Harry if your sister said it wasn't her, then it wasn't her." Mum told Harry.

"I'm sorry Gin it's just, this sounds so crazy and out of the blue." He apologized.

"Trust me I know. It just sounds so fake." I told him.

"Kids, I know this sounds a lot like a joke but to be honest, I feel like you should at least wait to see if this guy shows up. I mean, It wouldn't hurt?" She told us.

"Yeah I guess so." Agreed Harry.

"Ok, sure." I said.

It was now noon and Harry was anxiously pacing the living room while I was watching TV.

"Harry will you just sit down! The guy will get here when he gets here!" I told him.

"I'm just anxious to see if this guy shows up." he responded.

"I know harry, but I seriously doubt that anyone would send you a letter telling you that you were accepted to a wizarding school that you didn't apply for, and then tell you that they have something else to tell you but, it's too important to tell you over a letter, so they're gonna send some guy you've never meet before come to your house and explain it to you." I assured him.

"Well when I put it that way it does sound kinda fishy." I added as an after thought.

"Ya think?" He said sarcastically.

I was going to retort something smart, when we suddenly heard a knock at the door.

"That must be the guy."I said.

Harry made no move to open the door out of shock, so I did.

"'Ello am lookin' for ah 'Arry Potter, Is he here?" There in the doorway stood a tall, beefy man with a bushy beard.

"Um yeah, come in." I said.

When I turned back around Harry's jaw was almost touching the floor.

"Harry close your mouth, you're gonna catch flies" I told him.

Harry closed his mouth and went to introduce himself to the man with the bushy beard.

"Hi I'm Harry Potter, and you are?" Harry asked the man.

"Rubeus 'Agrid, buh' everyone jus' calls me 'Agrid." He said in his thick accent.

"Nice to meet you Hagrid, in case your wondering, the weird red-head next to me is my sister, Ginny." Harry introduced.

"Hullo!" I greeted.

"'Arry you don't have a sister." Hagird stated.

"Well we're not biologically related but yes, I do." Harry said calmly.

"Our mum adopted him from his aunt and uncle when he was 8." I explained.

"Oh ya did?" He asked curiously.

"Yeah; He wasn't living in the best of situations." I continued.

"Makes sense." He said shrugging.

"Oh 'Arry ah almos' forgo' 'ere." He said handing Harry a box he pulled from his pocket.

"Woah how'd you do that?!" I asked him amazed.

"Magic." He answered simply.

"Wait so whoever wrote the letter wasn't pranking me?" Asked Harry sounding surprised.

"O' course not" Said Hagrid sounding offended.

"Sorry, it's just a little hard to believe." Apologized Harry.

"Understandable." Agreed Hagrid.

"Oh sorry am' gettin' a bit sidetracked 'ere." said Hagrid.

"Oh yeah, what is it that you're supposed to be telling me?" Asked Harry.f

"Ya migh' wanna si' down for this." Warned Hagrid.

"Okay..." said Harry suspiciously.

"'Arry do ya know who your 'arents 're?" Asked Hagrid.

"Lilly and James Potter, why do you ask?" Said Harry.

"You don' know 'othing ' else 'bout 'em?" He questioned.

"Not a single thing, unless you count the fact that I know they died in a car-crash." Harry shook his head.

"An' who fed ya tha' lie?" He asked .

"Wait, my parents didn't die in a car crash?" Asked Harry in astonishment.

"No 'Arry they were 'illed by 'ah 'owerfull evil wizard."

"THEY WERE?!" Harry practically screamed. I could feel him becoming frustrated, so I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Yes 'Arry they 'ere, 'hich 'rings me to 'nother poin't."

"And which one is that one?"

"Your a wizard "Arry."
