AN: Hi I honestly don't know if anyone actually reads this I'm just gonna ramble on about how I'm about to say something that will probably disgust you. I used to think... Harry Potter was overrated *gags*. It's a nauseating thought I know, but because of this i only started reading/watching Harry potter 6 months ago. Therefore I've only ever made it as far as the 3rd book/movie. I am aware that I stated that this story will take place in Ginny's 4th year which would be Harry's 5th. And me being the genius *sarcasm* I am, I have come up with a solution to this problem I got myself into. I'm going to watch the 5th movie and hope that will be enough to finish this story. I also plan on asking my best guy-friend (who has indeed seen/read the 5th HP) for a quick recap. Also as a side note, I've always fancied listening to music while doing, well, just about anything. So if you find any mistakes, I blame the music.
DISCLAIMER: I don't, in any way, shape, or form, own Harry Potter. It all belongs to J.K. Rowling.
Ginny's POV
"I'm a wot?"
"A wizard."
"And there's another thing too."
"What's that?"
"The wizard that killed your parents...well..."
"What?"
"He tried to kill you too Harry"
Harry stood there with a pale face and said nothing.
"You okay there Green-Eyes?" I asked with genuine worry.
"Yeah I'm fine, Just processing."
"Okay, take your time."
We all just sat on the couch in complete silence.
"Would you fancy some tea Hagrid?"
"Thank you Ginny, tea would be wonderful." He responded.
I had finished preparing the tea and was walking to the living room when I saw Harry jumping on the couches in excitement. I put the tea down on the coffee table and laughed at Harry's antics.
"I can only assume you've processed everything?"
"Yep."
"And you're okay with it?"
"Well,other than...well...you know, yep."
"I'm guessing you're exited?"
"What gave It away?"
I giggled.
"So what now?"
"I reckon now we have to go buy the stuff I need for school." He shrugged.
"But with what money Harry?"
"I may be able to help with that." Interjected Hagrid.
"How?"
"Well, you see Harry you're parents left you a small fortune when they died."
"They did?"
"Yes Harry, they did."
"Oh wow so not only are you a wizard, you're a rich wizard. Great, now I'm the loser."
'In. Your. Face." He inched closer to my face with every word. I shoved him away, and rolled my eyes.
"Whatever."
"Oh my god, you're jealous!"
I'm not going to lie, I was. Don't tell him though, he'd never let me live it down.
"Am not."
"Are too."
"Whatever."
"You are soo jealous."
"Oh come off it."
"Fine."
"Well kids, It's been fun, but I must go now."
We followed Hagrid as walked to the door.
"Oh by the way Harry, I will be back in three days to take you shopping for your school things as well as take you to Gringgots."
"Pardon?"
"Gringgots; the bank only bank of the wizarding world.
"Oh."
Hagrid walked out of the house before turning around saying a quick goodbye.
It was now September 1st. Harry had gone to Diagon Ally (he told me it was called that) with hagrid and came back with a ton of cool stuff. Like for example, he came back with a flipping owl. No, not a stuffed owl, but a real life owl. Her names' Hedwig, by the way.
Anyway like I was saying, it was now September 1st and my mum, Harry, and I were driving to King's Cross Station. We got Harry's stuff out of the trunk of our car and started walking to the entrance. Once we were inside, we realized we had absolutely no idea were this 'Platform 9 and 3/4' was. m um had tried asking someone that was walking by but, they had never heard of such a platform.
We were still looking for platform 9 and 3/4 when a nice woman offered to help us.
"Hullo, are you looking for platform 9 and 3/4?" she asked my mum.
"Yes, do you know were it is?"
"Do you see that wall there?"
She pointed to a platform divider behind us.
"What about it?" I asked.
"To get to platform, you must first run through the wall."
I must've given her a funny look, because she continued to further explain.
"Its magic." She said simply.
It made sense, so Harry and I shrugged.
"Well, I guess It's time to say goodbye now.
I turned to Harry and hugged him.
"Goodbye Green-Eyes. Don't cause too much trouble okay? I'd like to have you back in the summer."
"See I knew you cared."
"Harry." said my mother warningly.
"Sorry mum."
"Goodbye Red-Head, I'll miss you too. And no promises."
Harry turned to mum and hugged her.
"Goodbye love, comport yourself okay?"
"Yes mum."
"Good now run along."
"Bye mum, bye Gin."
"Bye Harry" We said in unison.
Now it was June 27th (1992). Mum and I were at Kings Cross Station (on the magical side of the platform) waiting for the Hogwarts express. I was freaking out (in a good way). I hadn't seen my best friend for almost a year. Like, does he have a new best friend? I was lost in thought when suddenly I heard the chug of a train.
I continued to wait for Harry until the train stopped. I got exited when I saw Harry getting off the train, but was surprised to see him with someone else, a girl. She was shorter than him with bushy, brown hair. The mysterious girl then hugged Harry and kissed him on the cheek. I was catching flies, while mum pretended not to notice. As soon as the mysterious girl left I ran to Harry and jumped in his arms.
"Harry!"
The force was too much for Harry and he staggered backwards.
"Ginny!"
He hugged me back and kissed the crown of my head.
"I missed you Green-Eyes."
"I missed you too Gin."
"'Oh hullo mum I missed you, hi harry I missed you too!'" She mocked.
Harry and I let go of each other and rolled our eyes.
"Oh hullo mum I missed you."
That's one thing mum and Harry share; their sarcasm.
"Hi Harry I missed you too."
We were walking back to the car when I decided to have some fun with Harry.
"So Greeny, who was that girl you so-oh-very tightly?"
Harry blushed and couldn't- no wait that's the wrong word, wouldn't meet my gaze.
"Just a new friend I made. Why, jealous?"
I scoffed.
"No, just curious."
"Well if you must know, her name is Hermione Granger."
"You hear that mum? Harry's got a girlfriend named Hermione."
"I heard Ginny."
"Were not dating! Were just friends!"
"Okay."
"I'm serious!"
"Whatever you say."
"Ugh, you're impossible."
"Love you too bro."
