AN:Hi so I'm sorry I've been taking so long to update but I have a good excuse. I'm home-schooled therefore I am forced to do school work. And whatever free time I do get is spent either texting my friends of watching television. However, I really am trying my best to write as much as possible. Oh one more thing, you might hate me for this but, my great uncle is coming to visit soon and I might not be posting for a while. Sorry!

DISCLAIMER: I OWN NOTHING! Don't make me say it again. I hurts too much.

Ginny's POV

I was peacefully asleep in my comfy bed, until a certain dark haired wizard came to wake me up.

"It's time to get up Red."

Harry leaned over and kissed my forehead.

"Just a little bit longer."

I wasn't (and still aren't) a morning person.

"Sorry love, no can do. It's nearly noon."

He shook me gently, trying to wake me up.

"Fine I'll get up, just get out so I can get dressed."

"Okay, see you downstairs."

In case you're wondering, Harry and I were still best friends. Sure, he might have some other friends now too but, I know for a fact I'm still his favorite. Harry had told me all about Hogwarts and it's four houses. Apparently their names were Griffindor (which he was in), Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. He told about how he had made the team of some weird sport I'd never heard of that most his age wouldn't be allowed to play. He had also told me about all of the people he had befriended but, out of all the friendships he had with people one of them seemed to stand out the most. The one with a certain pale, blond boy by the name of Draco Malfoy.

From what I had gathered, he and Harry pretended they were foes, when in reality they were actually mates. According to Harry the reason behind this was that Draco's parents wouldn't approve of the friendship they had. To be honest, I was quite curious as to why this was but, I realized it would probably be best if I didn't press the issue.

I was hoping I would get a Hogwarts letter of my own and I know Harry was too. Naturally, mum had told us that there was a slight chance that I wouldn't get a Hogwarts letter but, Harry being the stubborn person he was- pardon, is decided to ignore that.

Harry and I were just watching the television when we hard the post being delivered. Harry and I had practically jumped out of our seats and raced to the door (dang my short legs). Harry beat me there of course (big surprise). I know he might not look it but, Harry is surprisingly fast for someone his age. Then again he did spend almost his entire life running away from Dudley.

Harry picked up the post and all but shoved it into my hands.

"Here, you do it. It is your mail after all."

I took it and shoved it back into his hands.

"I can't, you do it."

He shoved it back.

"Why the bloody hell not?"

I about to respond when mum emerged from her room.

"Language, Harry."

"Sorry, mum."

"What's all this fuss about?"

I then proceeded to shove the letters into my mothers hands.

"Here mum you open it."

"Ginny, these are bills."

"Not that, my letter!"

"What letter?"

"My Hogwarts letter!"

"Oh that letter."

"Well let me see... Ah here we are! One for Harry... and one for Ginny!"

I swear, my heart had never beat so fast before.

"See I told you Gin, I told you!"

"Yeah, yeah, you told me."

I was back at platform 9 and 3/4 and getting a sense of Deja'vu. Here I was, getting shipped off to some place were they were supposed to teach me something they told me was fake. Merlin, I really was going daft. Was this all a dream? I shook my head as if I was trying to shake all of the negative thoughts out of my head.

I was lost in thought when suddenly I saw a girl run past me and into Harry's arms. This was the same girl that kissed his cheek last summer on the train. The mysterious girl (Honey? No, Heather was it?) then turned to me and stuck out her hand.

"I'm Hemione Granger, and you are?"

I stuck out my hand to shake hers.

"Ginny Petten, Ginevra, if you want to get killed."

"Harry's told me all about you."

"Oh has he now?"

I looked over Hermione's shoulder and at Harry with a raised eyebrow.

"Hermione!"

"What, Harry? It's true"

It was then I realized that Hermione and I would get along exceptionally well. The next thing we knew we were rushing to get on the Hogwarts Express.

"Bye loves, behave."

"Bye mum, yes mum." Harry and I coursed.

We (Harry, Hermione, and I) got on the train and went into a compartment.

"You two are siblings, correct?"

"Well not biologically, but yes."

"How did you tw-"

I didn't get to finish my sentence because it was then that four more people came into the compartment. The first one was a tall pale, blond, boy. The second was an average-height boy with red hair and freckles. The third was a blonde girl, about my height. And the last was a bit chubby with flat brown hair.

"Who's that?"

"That's my sister, Red meet Draco, Ron, and Neville. I'm not sure who the girl is."

"I'm Luna Lovegood, a friend of Ron's. It's nice to meet you."

"Likewise. So you lot were the ones who took care of Greeny for me while I was gone?"

"More like he took care of us."

Harry blushed, Draco and Ron snickered, and everyone else just laughed.

"Yeah right."

I scoffed.

"No, were serious."

"Really? You sure you're not confusing him with someone else? Someone more... I don't know less chicken-like?

"Gee thanks Gin, feeling the love."

"Oh you know what I mean."

"Yeah, yeah."

"Anyway, how come you're not mentioned in all those books about Harry? I mean" Asked Neville.

"Were not biologically related."

"You two must get questions like that a lot huh?" asked Ron

"Well no, not really."

"No one really even knows Gin exists."

I nodded in agreement.

"Doesn't that make you sad?"

"No not at all. I'm not one for the spotlight."

Here we were walking into the great hall. Harry told me this was the part were I get sorted into a house. Honestly, I didn't really care what house I got sorted into and I was glad Harry didn't either. They called a few names out before I heard them call mine.

"Petten, Ginevra."

I got up and started walking towards the stool. I sat down and McGonagall put the hat on my head.

"Oh another interesting one, interesting one indeed. Yes you would do great in Griffindor, but also in Ravenclaw as well. Oh yes but also in Hufflepuff and in Slytherin. Hmm best make it...Griffindor!"

As if on cue, the entire Griffindor table erupted in cheers. As I was walking to the Griffindor table I saw Draco smirk at me, and me being me, I smirked back.

Somehow, I knew I would enjoy my time at Hogwarts.
