Chapter 13: Supply and Demand

After acquiring the boat for Ronaldo, Lincoln was asked again to come to Diaz's mansion for another job, obviously just to satisfy himself. We see Ronaldo in a room shouting angrily an item that doesn't cooperate with him.

"Eject! PLASTIC CRAP! You doing this to me?" The item in question, turns out to be a VCR Player, he seems frustrated as Ronaldo is repeatedly tapping all the buttons, but to no avail, it didn't eject the VHS Tape he wants. "Who do you think you are, you piece of plastic SHIT? Aaarrgh!" he finally had enough and starts to shoot at the machine with his Desert Eagle. "SCREW YOU!"

Lincoln was a bit shocked, so he put his hands up, then Ronaldo notices him and explains the recent outburst. "It eats my favorite 'El Burro movie', it die! What else could I do?" We can only wonder what that favorite 'El Burro' movies is…

Lincoln then states the obvious reason "It's not plugged in."

Ronaldo, after hearing this, was a bit stunned, he didn't check if the device was plugged or not. He then checked the side where the socket was and he was right, the VCR wasn't plugged. "What? Damn…no matter, I can buy a hundred more."

He then sat down to explain the job Lincoln's about to do for him. "Now Lincoln, each month a freelancer sails into Vice City and moors his yacht. He sells his cargo to the first boat. I want you to take a speedboat and beat all the other shitheads to it, then you bring the cargo here, ok?!"

Lincoln, understood what he was going to do, went out to the back of the mansion to go to the boat that he stole earlier, and finds to his surprise Lexx, sitting on the boat.

Lincoln rolled his eyes and says sarcastically "Let me guess, you thought I could use a guardian angel."

Lexx then casually explains, "I'm just saying you need to let me in there, my man. Now you can feed all this 'lonely tough guy' crap, but I know one day I'm gonna save your ass, and you're probably gonna wanna kiss me!"

"Wacko."

"Hahahahahaha!"

They then got on the boat, Lincoln was driving the boat while Lexx was the gunman. While they were driving Lexx asks Lincoln.

"So Lincoln, we know it was Diaz who busted our deal… So why the hell are we running errands for him?"

"The more we learn now, the less we have to learn when we take this town over!"

"I like your style, man. Real fresh."

On their way, the encountered some gang members who wanted to get to the boat as well, Lexx then begins to shoot at them while shouting "It's time for the Lexx Vance Dance!" Once arriving at the boat, Lexx takes control of the boat and Lincoln begins to protect him and the boat. He fights with the attacking rivals. Lexx warns him saying "Watch yourself! They're coming from all over!"

"Got 'em! Head for Diaz's mansion as fast as you can" He replied back to Lexx. He manages to successfully fight and kill all the gang members who are after them, after turning to a islet, Lexx notices a number of men gathered up on some boat and shouts back at Lincoln "There are gunmen on the jetty!" Lincoln sees them and shoots at them successfully killing them.

After another boat chase and a close encounter with a helicopter, they got the drugs and gets back to Diaz safe.

"Good shooting, my friend. You're a real, proper, grade-A lunatic!"

Lincoln, touched a bit by his compliment welcomed back, "Well, thank you."

"See you around, Lincoln." Lexx then drives off.

Lincoln, chuckled and replied back "Okay, Mr. Lexx Vance Dance."

A few hours later he then receives a phone call.

"Yo, Lincoln! It's Lexx."

"Yeah?"

" 'Oh, nice to hear from you, Lexx.' Come on, man, be cool, be cool."

A bit annoyed, Lincoln immediately asks Lexx "I'm in the middle of something. What do you want?"

"Nothing. Just to say, you know. Look Lincoln, we can do this thing. You and me, no problem. You know what I mean?"

Lincoln, obviously gets what he meant, the plan to take out Diaz, he then casually replied, "We're going to have to do it, 'cause otherwise, we're going to be dead, Lexx. We're in too far now. But thanks for the call. I'll speak to you later.

Lincoln then hangs up. The call Lexx gave was clear. It was time to take out Diaz once and for all, but before that, he has to go to Colonel Arturo Cortez to inquire about the job.
