Three hours later of laying waste on the city, we find Zarc coming back to his fortress as he rides Odd Eyes. Once arrived, Zarc halted his dragon then got off. He went inside to check on his wife and we find Catherine, who is being the chamber maid for the fortress. "How is your...laying waste thing doing'? She asked. From the tone of her voice, she is quite scared for Ray and of Zarc. The demon looks at the lunalight monster. "Everything's great Cat." He answered, "Everything is going well planned." Catherine watched her "master" going upstairs to see Ray. "Is there anything you want me to do?" Catherine asked. Zarc looks back to her so she can get an answer. "See if you can check on the prisoners." he ordered, "In the meantime, bathe her." With that said, Catherine went downstairs to check on Mozarta.
Meanwhile, Zarc went upstairs and head to a beautiful, white colored door. It is engraved with a music note, flying with bird wings, topped with a moon, and between such symbol are wisp like wind markings. Zarc works his magic and the door opens for him. He entered the room and we find in the bedroom is like any other tower princesses are. All the elegance in decoration is in such bedroom: lavish curtains, a delicate dresser, a beautiful, Victorian wardrobe, a vanity desk that holds different makeup and stuff for hair, a few stuffed animals, and a beautiful bed. Zarc built most of the furniture with his own hands (and a help from his monsters). Some of the items he find is while he is rampaging through the city. Sitting on the bed is Zarc's wife, Ray. Who is looking at a monster card, that is burnt and where Schuberta is at. "Miss me?" Zarc asked his wife. Ray was still sad because of how she acted towards her mothering monster. She turned to look then puts away the card. Zarc heads to his wife to see what's wrong with her. "Aww," The demon whined a bit, "What's got you so mopey?" The demon sits next to her on the bed. His voice is calm, but not sympathetic. "I just miss Schuberta." The wife answered, "She's like a mother to me." She then felt Zarc's arms, going around her waist. "Oh Ray." He began as he reaches over and takes Schuberta's card away. "You don't need to dwell on it." Zarc reminded that Schuberta tries to break apart the married couple and left her mistress. Ray remembered that the fortress IS made with the remains of the church. "At least a part of it." Zarc looks at his wife in the eyes. " It was," He answered, "Before is 'fixed' it."
Few weeks ago when the war began, there was a church in the city. Inside the church is the main chapel. Inside the main chapel for the church, the preacher is giving a sermon, when the double doors swung open wide. Zarc steps slowly inside, the image of the city burning behind him. He steps slowly inside, as the worshipers begin screaming in terror and running out. The preacher falls backward in fear, holding his cross out to Zarc. Zarc grins as Dark Rebellion flies in behind him, roaring! The stained glass windows shatter around them, injuring the scurrying crowd. Zarc grin to their attempts. Yes, even the preacher's since Zarc IS a demon under human skin. "Now, people, bow before your god!" Zarc cried. Everyone who isn't chased off the church grounds is killed. Zarc got closer to the preacher with a pair of scissors in hand (a/n Anyone for Corpse Party? (giggles)). The preacher got even more scared, trying to defend himself. Zarc raised his scissors and kills the preacher, stabbing him at least thirteen time. After a big, bloody attempt, Zarc went out to call out his other dragons to enter and he picks up Ray, carrying her inside. Her monsters were scared for their mistress and of their "master". Zarc place Ray on the altar like she is his personal, porcelain doll. Once that's done, he orders the dragons to help him rebuild the church into a fortress as he gives the female monsters their positions for Ray to keep her busy. For Catherine, she is the chamber maid and to keep the church/fortress all shiny and clean. For Winter bell, she is served to be as Ray's personal nugget chef to make her some snacks or any other dish when Zarc's out to rampage the city. For Star, she is served to be the message carrying bird of Zarc's for when he is going to let Ray know where he's going. For Schuberta's nieces, Aria, Sonata, and Bloom Diva, they're served to be as Ray's hair dresser, seamstress/designer, and tea maker for when Ray's thirsty. Ray hugs her arms as she is feeling so guilty for not listening to her monster. 'It's all my fault!' Ray thinks to herself, 'If I had known sooner, I should've listened to her!'
