Mysterious eyes watched the happy world from behind blacken sun glasses, his hair swayed gently in the morning breeze, leather coat pulled taught around his firm but soft body. Clyde had been stalking this world of colorful vegetables for some time now, a god so infinite as he shouldn't concern himself with such insignificant beings. Yet. They never failed to catch his predatory interest, the way they bounced around jolly as can be, singing songs and learning morals, hell they even had a show about morals that somehow was broadcast accross different universes.
Were these mere supermarket fodder more intelligent then he'd though of them before? Did they possess some interdimensional technologies that his peak senses had not yet been able to detect? No, that was foolish. Clyde was a god, he was the god, the son of satan himself whom haled from a land far beyond the dimensions of the simple planet earth, where of which he'd initially seen the show on TV.
No, Clyde really didn't believe these creatures had any more intelligence then the average human person.
Except, perhaps, for one of them. One of these anthropomorphic vegetable people, Clyde had noticed, seemed to carry a higher IQ then the rest of his kin. That individual was The Archibald, or, just Archibald, as his friends called him. Clyde thought the 'The' at the beginning made more sense though, since this vegetable was clearly a higher more sophisticated and handsome being then the rest of them.
Clyde had watched Archibald for some time, even choosing to travel accross the multiple dimensions these people existed in, yet in every timeline, universe, and feasible fabrication of these creatures reality, Archie was the same asparagus as the original. Always smarter, always as graceful as a fresh mornings snowfall, even when his primitive friends morals and ideologies changed he himself was always perfect. There was no denying it, Archibald Asparagus was the best VeggieTales character.
And that's why Clyde had chosen the appearance of an asparagus for this universe, though of course he looked a lot more cool and passionate then the rest of them.
He wanted Archie, oh yes~ The god planned to woo the asparagus, in fact he planned to woo them all. In all of the other dimensions, from the barbaric eras, to the futuristic eras, to Archibald's lost on tropical islands. Clyde would have them all.
