19. Bar Brawl

Chapter 19: Bar Brawl

With some of the businesses paying Lincoln money for protection, his rise to success is sure well on its way, he enters his mansion from a routine check on his business enters the bar. He sees Lexx there drinking, as well as a few other men who work for him, seeing Lexx drink a lot, Lincoln suspects that there is some sort of problem. He approaches him and asks about it.

"What's the problem?"

Lexx drank one last shot and explained to Lincoln "Some bar is refusing to pay. They reckon they're protected by a local gang of thugs." Lincoln was then surprised by this, but Lexx restated to him and said "But don't worry Lincoln, I can handle it."

Lincoln, pissed at Lexx, directly stared at him "You call this handling it?" He then turned around to the other men and pointed at two specifically "You two, off your asses…Let's go."

They left the mansion and drove to a place called Front Page Café on Ocean Drive to where the supposed owner is refusing to pay, once Lincoln was inside the car, he called out the other two and said, "Get in the car, useless…"

Once arriving there, he ends up killing the two guards protecting the entrance, luckily, they were the only ones who were guarding the place. Once he was at the patio of the store, the owner came out calmly and approaches Lincoln, Lincoln then stares at him and says

"Your protection needs a little more protection."

The owner, already knows that he's the new boss in the place, and that he's also used to this kinds of matters before just replied as if it was annoying to him "Aw hell, not again! I don't need this crap! These idiots operate out of DBP Security around the block. You guys just sort it out amongst yourselves."

Lincoln, understanding that he gave in without a fight and gave the information without force, calmly but coldly replied "I'll be seeing you later."

The owner just said "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

Lincoln then drives to DBP Security's headquarters and attacks some of their guards, blowing up a few of their stuff in the process. He was almost in the clear when suddenly, two guards came out and escape on PCJ 600s with Securicars following them as backup. Lincoln gives chase to the guards pushing them off their bikes with his car and eventually killing them afterwards. He then drove back to the mansion and rested for a bit, not knowing when the next issue might rise up again.
