Chapter 20: Cop Land

After cooling off for a few days after the Café incident, Lincoln decides to head out and take a few walks around the mansion, just when all of a sudden, he heard shouting. He then went to the source of the ranting and found Lexx shouting at a man who worked for Lincoln, the guy's name was Mike. Lexx is seen berating Mike for something that he screwed up. Lincoln then approaches them.

"You moron! What were you thinking?! Do you realize what this means? We could all be sunk!" Lexx was really pissed at Mike for failing his objective.

Mike, already a bit scared at Lexx, calmly explained at him "The timer must have got screwed. That place was wired to go up like a firework today. Then somebody tipped off the cops…"

Lexx was then about to rant something at him when Lincoln intervened and asked.

"What's the problem fellas?"

Lexx then explained to Lincoln about the situation "Mike was supposed to torch some place in the mall, but he screwed the fuses and now the cops are crawling all over it. We gotta get our stuff and get outta here!"

Already irritated by the both of them brushed them off and said "Relax, both of you, let me think for a second!"

He then leaned over the front foyer of the mansion "Lincoln Vercetti doesn't just cut and run."

Of course he couldn't run. Even if he ran away, all of his hard work in taking over will be for nothing. And even then, sooner or later Lori and the rest of the family will look for him and hunt him down. So he thought of a way on how to infiltrate the place. Lexx and Mike stood also there looking and waiting at him to utter a word. Then, he spoke up.

"The cops are gonna be over that building with a fine toothed comb, right? But that takes time." He then turned around and looked at the two and sternly looked at them and said "We gotta go in and torch that place ourselves."

Mike was about to say something but was cut off by Lexx "Yeah, but…" "No one but a cop could get within a mile of that place!"

Lincoln then stared at Lexx and explained "So we go as cops. We gotta get our uniforms and we're gonna need a squad car." He then pointed to Mike and sarcastically says "All thanks to you, Mike."

Mike just saying it with his hands up "I'm sorry."

Then Lexx came up with an idea "I got it! All we gotta do is lure the cops in with the finger, put 'em in a lock-up and jump 'em."

Lincoln nodded at the idea and said "Good plan! Let's go."

"Alright."

With the plan underway, they head for the Station to get the police's attention and draw them away so they could get their hands on uniforms and a squad car.

"Okay, Lexx, let's get the cops' attention!"

Parked on front of the Station, they began shooting at some vehicles as well as the police building, within a few minutes, they already heard sirens, meaning they were successful in drawing them out.

"Now that got them really irritated."

They both head to the lock-up in Vice Point and ambush two police officers who were following them on the way there. Once they arrived, the closed the doors and begin to take them out. Lincoln then said "Tie 'em up and gag 'em!"

Once they were tied up, they took the uniforms and put them on. Lexx even envied the uniforms and said "Ooooh, fits perfectly." But Lincoln complained and said "Bit tight around the crotch, though…" Realizing this, Lexx also struggled with the uniform on the crotch area "Oh yea, yeah, mine too, mine too."

The lock-up doors back up revealing Lincoln and Lexx in police uniforms. They find a squad car and head to North Point Mall.

One the way there, Lexx reminded Lincoln and said "Easy, brother, no cop drives this bad!" Lincoln just nodded at what he said. They arrive at the mall.

Lincoln nudged at Lexx and said "Remember, smile at the other cops!" Lexx then smiled at the officer on the entrance and said "Hey there, officer. Nice badge, nice badge."Lincoln just rolled his eyes and entered the mall while saying "Real smooth, Lexx…"Lincoln and Lexx go inside the mall and find the Tarbrush Café guarded by armymen. Lincoln heads inside and arms the bomb.

Lincoln exited the café and says at Lexx "Okay, timers are set, 5 seconds and ticking."

Lexx widens his eyes and says at Lincoln "5 seconds?! We gotta get the hell outta here!"

Lincoln and Lexx escape the café as the bomb explodes. They hurry back to Lincoln's Mansion at Starfish Island as they're being chased by the police and FBI. Lincoln and Lexx go inside to change back into normal clothes. The mission was dangerous, but it was a success.
