Chapter 46: Month three
It has been two months since Zarc and Ray had conceived the child. We find the demon, brushing Ray's hair. Ray is looking at the mirror as she watches Zarc brushing her hair, through the mirror. Once her hair is brushed, Zarc tied her hair up in pig tails with ball scrunchies. From the looks on Ray is she's wearing an aqua green dress with a pink ribbon at the waist. Similar fashion to a doll. "Turn to me dear." Zarc ordered as Ray then looks at her husband with a turn. Zarc pulled out a make up kit and begins to apply make up on his wife. He placed a beautiful shade of pink on her lips. Next, he put a powder blue eye shadow on her eyes as he placed false eye lashes on her eyelids. Lastly, Zarc applied blush to Ray's cheek bones and he is then done. "Now the reveal." Zarc turned Ray back to the mirror, looking more dolly than ever. "Now aren't you beautiful my dear?" Ray nods gently, feeling like Zarc is still loosing his mind. Not that she hates being pampered, She's just scared of him. "That's right." Zarc spoke as he then helped Ray off and out of the vanity bench. "Now why not you play yourself for a while?" Ray sat on the bed as she placed her hands on her lap. "Can you stay with me for today?" Ray has been lonely for days, for weeks, for months. Zarc didn't noticed that Ray has been lonely til now. Zarc smiled warmly then sat next to her. "I suppose I can take a break." With that said, Zarc held Ray's hand for the time being. "So I was thinking.." Zarc began, "How about we form a little tea party?" Ray hadn't done a tea party since she was six. She always do such things with her mom when she was alive. Now her mother is gone, Ray hadn't done such thing ever since. Ray looked at her husband so she can answer. "I suppose we can do that." Ray answered, "Shall I bake cookies for it?" Zarc thought for a minute then looks back. "I don't see why not." Ray is then picked up by Zarc as she is carried by him, heading to the kitchen downstairs.
Soon they arrive to the kitchen. Zarc puts Ray down so he can find the ingredients for his wife to use. "It's been a while since we've been in the kitchen." Zarc realized as he find some flour in the pantry, "I just didn't even know this is part of the church." Ray watched her husband finding eggs, milk, sugar, and the rest of the ingredients for Ray to use. Zarc then pulls out a sifter, a bowl, some cookie pans, a spoon, and measuring cups; liquid and dry so Ray can use them to make the dough. Ray watched Zarc getting things ready for her to use. Once all set, Zarc took Ray off the counter and she then goes to the items that is on the counter. Ray begins to make the dough by adding eggs, milk and other ingredients. Zarc watched his wife do the magic with the dough. As he watches, he heard Odd Eyes roaring. Zarc went out of the kitchen to come see his monster. Zarc kept walking down the hall and into downstairs. Downstairs is the dungeons, where he kept his prisoners of war captive. Odd Eyes is speaking with Dark Rebellion on what to do with one prisoner who is one of the Resistance. Zarc appeared before the two dragons and they looked at their master. "Zarc." Odd Eyes spoke, "We captured one of the resistance members and one who is in the army." Zarc smirked evilly. "Excellent." Zarc looks at one cell to see which Resistance member is it. The member is Yusei. The Demon grinned evilly to the Synchro duelist mechanic. "Well, well." Zarc began, "I never knew YOU are in the resistance as well." Zarc placed his claw on Yusei's cheek. "I expect more from a man like you." Yusei growled with a glare. "Not as much as a demon under the skin!" Zarc laughed maniacally at such sentence. Zarc really is showing how he is with others. "Maybe a single controlled shock from the battery will make you speak less." With that said, Zarc left the cell for his dragons to torture Yusei.
Zarc went upstairs from the dungeons as it followed by screams of the unlucky prisoners. The demon closed the chamber door so he can go back to his wife. Zarc calls in Bloom Diva to talk to her. "Bloom." He began, "Get the tea party table ready at Ray's room." Bloom Diva looks at Zarc. "We will have our little time together there." Bloom turns away a bit but did as she was told. Zarc made it to the kitchen and he find Ray on the floor, watching the oven. It seems like she already cutted out the shapes of the dough and placed them on the cookie sheet. Zarc sat down next to her so he can watch as well. He smiled warmly as how his wife focus on making sweets. She once told her husband that she used to bake with her mother years ago. Zarc placed his hand on hers and held it gently, watching the cookies rise to perfection. Once they're baked, Zarc helped Ray pull them out of the oven. Zarc kissed her head as he helped her place the cookies to the counter. Ray had already prepared the icing for her cookies and even the confections to top it off. The demon watched his wife apply the icing on each cookie as they're finally cool to the touch. Once they're in a pastel attire, Ray then add in sprinkles, crystals, or even tiny candy pieces. Zarc took a cookie that is a teddy bear shaped that is in a pastel green and has yellow candy eyes then ate it. Ray noticed that Zarc likes such kind of cookies she makes. Then she has an idea, but she will wait til she gives birth.
Later, Zarc and Ray are in the doll's room, having a nice tea party with milk and cookies. Zarc strokes his wife's cheek gently as he smiled warmly. Ray took a drink from her tea. The tea is actually warm milk that is perfect for a pregnant woman. "I really can't wait for our children Ray." Zarc admitted since he is the father of the twins who are growing inside Ray. Ray looks at her husband who is deep down, deranged and mentally broken. Zarc took her hand and held it gently as he too another bite of the cookie. 'That's one thing I know about Zarc.' Ray thought herself, 'He loves my sugar cookies.' In the next few months, Ray will give birth and put her plan in motion.
