Chapter 48: Month five
It's been five months since Ray got pregnant by Zarc. We find Ray knitting a blanket as Zarc is sitting next to her, embracing her gently as she knits. Ray looked over her husband who is cuddling her. "May I ask what are you doing?" She asked. Zarc looks at his wife. "What?" Zarc replied, "Am I not allowed to hug you?" Ray allows Zarc to hug but she is doing something at the moment. Zarc released his wife after he kissed her on the head. "Well I need to get going." Zarc spoke, "I'll come check on you later, so why not play with yourself?" With that said, Zarc left his doll's bedroom so he can check on his prisoners. The demon went downstairs to the dungeons to see if he has any word from his dragons, since they are in charge with the dungeons. Once there, he find one of his dragons speaking with Schuberta. Zarc frowned from what Odd-Eyes is doing. "ODD-EYES!" Zarc yelled, making the dragon jump, "Get back to work and don't talk with the prisoners!" Zarc continues heading down the halls in the dungeons. Screams were filled from those who are mutilated into dolls or Marionettes. Blood and gore is caked all over the floor as it has been cleaned up by Starve Venom, through eating it. Zarc got to the end of the dungeons. In front of him, is a human sized, glass doll case. On the case, it said "Forever perfect, forever mine" as it has a beautifully decorated throne inside the case. Zarc touched the case and thinks about putting Ray into such case and leave her there forever. He remembers that he put a spell in there that will put her to sleep and stay asleep, as long as she's in the case. He even put another spell in it that will keep Ray young and beautiful forever. Zarc grinned at it's handiwork since he built it with his own hands. Soon he left the dungeons after he tortured his captors and prisoners.
Once out of the dungeons, Zarc find Bloom Diva, making tea in the kitchen. For Winter Bell, she is making Ray a snack, since she ate lunch earlier. The demon went to the fridge to find some beer in there. "Please don't drink too much of that stuff." Winter Bell suggested, "Remember last time?" Zarc remember the time before he took over most of the world, he celebrated his victory with a few drinks at a bar. He drove back home, crashing into thinks. Thank goodness he's okay but to Ray, he's a mess. Zarc opened his eyes in returning to the past and he grabs the bottle from the fridge. "Don't pretend you know everything Winter." Zarc spoke as he then leaves the kitchen. Zarc opens his bottle with his nail and drinks the beer. He went to the chapel and sat down on the seats and drinks. Zarc remembers on his first taste of beer. It was during the time when he was in Las Vegas. Zarc chuckled from the time he was dancing naked on top of the casino. Good times. Zarc took another swig of the tainted drink as he relaxes. As he does, he heard Catherine coming in the clean the chapel. "Master?" She asked, "May you leave the chapel please?" Zarc looks at the monster. It appears she needs to do something. "Please master I need to clean it it." Zarc sighs then gets up and out of the chapel. Catherine watches the demon leave the room and begins to bring out a vacuum cleaner. Zarc walks around the church and tries to do something. Then it hit him. Why not go to the bar like he used to. Zarc went to Odd-Eyes and ordered him to take him to the bar that is only a few blocks away from the church. And they went to the bar indeed.
Later that night, after so many drinks, we find Zarc drunk as Odd-Eyes the same way. Zarc is giggling like an idiot as he's holding a bottle. "Oh man.." Zarc spoke in a drunk way, "This is nice!" Odd-Eyes is asleep while drunk then woke up with a snort. "What time is it?" Zarc looks at his watch and shows it is now dinner time. "Well..." Zarc began, "We should get going." Zarc staggers out of the bar as Odd-Eyes pop his head out of the door, following Zarc. The demon climbed on the pendulum dragon so he can have transportation. Odd-Eyes drunkenly take Zarc back to the Church as they crash into different things. Soon, the two drunkards made it back to the church. Odd-Eyes and Zarc went inside as they are giggling like a bunch of idiots. Catherine was the first one who noticed the two drunken men. She even witnessed Odd-Eyes vomiting all over the carpet. Catherine growled in frustration due to her had going through the trouble with the carpet cleaning. Zarc drunkenly went upstairs as he is avoiding the fight. In minutes, Zarc arrived to the door of Ray's he work his magic in opening it and he find Ray eating dinner. The food is some pork chops with a side of apple sauce and steamed carrots. Zarc staggers to his wife as Ray noticed he got drunk. "Hey honey..." Zarc began as he slurred, "I'm home from the monkey." (A/n The monkey is known as The Drinking Monkey bar.) Ray got a little worried for him since she seen him drunk before. "You know what that means." Zarc spoke as he is drunk even more. Zarc got closer to Ray, trying to make out with her. Ray shoves him away gently. "Zarc not now." She said, "I am eating dinner." Zarc stood up as he is still wasted. "I know a good dinner plan for you tomorrow." He declared, "It is a plate of pizza." Zarc tries to speak what it has and goes he's pretty sure it has vitamins. Ray groaned then pinched the bridge of her nose. "Go wait in the Oasis Zarc." She ordered, "I'll join you when I am done eating." Zarc smiled goofingly as giggles like an idiot. "Okay Ray I trust you." Zarc's expression changed to slight disappointment. "But first I need to go pee first 'cause THIS night is going to be ruined." Zarc staggers off as he is wasted then turns back to his wife. "Ruined." He then left the room, leaving Ray with her dinner.
