The three of them walked in on a screaming match between Lila and Adrien. Lila was sobbing crocodile tears. I insting that Marinette had slapped her without cause.

"Alright everyone listen up!" Alya called gaining all the attention in the room. "Lila there is no use in lying. I heard what you said and if you had said that about my kids I would've done worse. You need to leave."

Any trace of tears vanished as Lila left the room. Emma hugged her mother close.

"She's gone now. I'm not going anywhere. Bella is here if you need her." Emma whispered in her mother's ear. Marinette shifted and had to stand on her tip toes to kiss Emma on the cheek.

"I love you. I don't know what I would do without you." She said.

"Sooooo….. Mari, this is your daughter." Kim voiced the question they had all been thinking.

"Yep this is my daughter Emma." She said.

Everyone went back to enjoy the party as Nino came to stand next to Alya with Adrien at his heels.

"So who's the dad?"" Nino asked.

"He's not in the picture." Marinette said watching Emma move around the room. She was currently in an animated talk with Alix about who knows what.

"What do you mean?" Adrien asked.

"He disappeared before I could tell him I was pregnant." Their conversation came to a halt when Chloe stood on the stage.

"Ok guys, we're going to play the first one too. I'm going to say a sentence and you're going to call out how old you were when that happened. Whoever was the youngest gets a point. Whoever has the most at the end wins."

"How old were you when you had kids?"

"20"

"23"

"22"

"20"

"17" Marinette called out. She had everyone beaten by a few years no one else had had kids till after university.

"That point goes to Marinette. How old were you when you moved out of your house."

Most said 18 though there were a few 19s and 20s until Marinette called out again.

"17"

"Marinette again. How old were you when you got married." Nino and Alya got that point.

"How old were you when you got your job."

"16" Marinette called out.

"Marinette again." Chloe said. "How old were you when…"

They played a few more rounds then tallied points to no one's surprise Marinette won. They played a few games until the music started and everyone started dancing.

"Want to dance?" Marinette turned to see Adrien offering his hand.

"Sure."

They moved to the floor and danced the night away. As it got close to ten people started leaving. Marinette and Emma left with the promise to meet up since Emma had school.

"Why didn't you ask her out?" Adrien turned to see Chloe behind him. "You couldn't stop watching her all night."

"I don't know Chloe, I don't know how long I'm staying. I don't know if I can leave anymore."

"You realize in the beginning everyone thought you and Marinette ran away together right? Everyone was waiting for you two to get together."

"After my father was outed as hawkmoth I just couldn't stay. I left so many people behind." Adrien said. Though he hadn't admitted it to himself yet he already knew there was no way he could leave Pais again. With the excuse he was tired he excused himself to his room.

"Plagg can I go for a run?" He asked his Kwami

"You don't have to ask kid, just give me cheese. You know what to say."

"Plagg, Claws Out." He had missed this feeling. The feeling of freedom he felt when he was Cat Noir were some of the best memories he had from his high school years. Cat Noir jumped off of his balcony, being careful not to be seen he made his way to the Eiffel Tower. This was his favorite spot when he and Ladybug were together. Cat Noir looked out over the city of Paris.

"It's beautiful this Time of night." He said to no one in particular.

"That it is." He turned to see his favorite person standing behind him. "But you know what else is going to be beautiful, the black eye I'm going to give you for running out, without so much as a goodbye." She was angry. She had every right to be angry, and he knew that.

"There is nothing I can say other than I'm sorry." He said. He stood up to face her preparing for whatever she was going to do. Instead of the black eye he knew he deserved. He felt her arms wrap around him as tears fell from her soft cheeks.

"I'm so happy you're ok." She said. Cat Noir hugged her back. Burying his face in her hair. They stood there like that for a while.

Ladybug knew she had to tell him but that couldn't happen without an identity reveal, or her telling Emma everything she knew that had to happen someday, she just wasn't sure when.

"I was so worried something had happened to you." She whispered. "You need to know something." She said. If not for his enhanced hearing he wouldn't have even heard it.

"What is it bugaboo?" He asked, pulling away. He studied her face, she seemed troubled. It didn't suit her features at all.

"When you left I…" She trailed off when they heard an explosion behind them.

As if no time had passed they ran toward the explosion. Running as fast as they could. Ladybug recognized that apartment building. It was where she and Emma lived.

"EMMA!" She screamed. She sped up ignoring Cat's cries. She flew into the apartment building ignoring the surprised people who hadn't seen either of the heroes in over a decade. To see them both was probably a shock.

"Is everyone out?" Cat Noir asked a lady.

"No the two who live on the top floor haven't come out yet everyone else is accounted for. Ladybug had already run into the burning building. Cat studied the structure, it was going to come down any minute.

Ladybug had but one thought to get to her daughter. "EMMA!" She screamed as she made her way up to the top floor.

"HELP!" She heard Emma call. Ladybug made a beeline for where her daughter was. Emma was trapped behind a price of the roof that had fallen in. Part of the roof fell in. Trapping them both in there. Ladybug coughed as smoke filled her lungs. She got on her hands and knees and crawled to her daughter, she grabbed her and held her close.

"Hold on tight." She said Emma held on to ladybug for dear life. Ladybug threw her Yo-Yo to a taller nearby building. As the Yo-Yo pulled the two of them out she heard Cat's shout of joy. Ladybug lowered Emma onto the ground. Just as the building collapsed.

"MY MOM IS STILL IN THERE." Emma said with a scream. As Emma began to curl into herself Ladybug bent down to her eye level.

"NO ONE GO IN THERE!" Ladybug shouted. "Look at me." She said to Emma. "Your mom isn't in there. She is safe. It's gonna be ok." As Emma met ladybug's eye she knew without a shadow of a doubt it was her mother in front of her. While she had never seen ladybug in person, she knew the stories from school about the two heroes who defeated hawkmoth. She knew it was her mom. Emma held tight to her mother.

"Bug we need to go." Cat said. Ladybug let go of her daughter and stood up. They were gone in the blink of an eye.

"I'll be right back, wait for me. " Ladybug said. Throwing her Yo-Yo she went into an alley and de transformed. Tikki made her way into her bag. As Marinette ran for her daughter.

"EMMA!" She called. Her daughter ran for her, the two crashed in a hug. They sank to their knees Marinette holding tight to Emma.

"I almost lost you." She said to her daughter. "I went on a walk."

"In a skin tight bodysuit?" She heard Emma mumble.

"We'll talk about this later I promise." Marinette stood up and walked to the collapsed building where the firemen were dousing the flames. All around she heard talks of Ladybug and Cat Noir being seen. Marinette slipped to the side of the building. She removed a piece of roof to see the Miracle box unscathed. She grabbed the box and slipped it into her bag. Moving back to her daughter. She wasn't sure about what to do she didn't have anyone to go to. Her parents were on vacation and she didn't want to bother anyone else. She pulled Emma into a nearby alley. Punching in the code to the miracle box, Emma saw it open. Marinette looked up and studied her daughter. Reaching into the box she withdrew a fox pendant.

"Emma, this is the miraclous of the fox. You will use this to protect the Miracle box and for the greater you accept this responsibility?"

"Yes" Emma said. As her mother handed her the pendant she saw a small red thing fly up next to her mother.

"Tikki spots on." Instead of her mother there was Ladybug standing in front of her. She was so caught up in watching her mother she didn't even jump at the small fox that was now trying to get her attention.

"Ladybug can run you down on your powers but all you need to say is 'Trixx, Let's Pounce.'"

"Trixx, Let's Pounce." She saw an orange glow watch over her before she was in a similar outfit as one she saw in her history books.

"Let's go.." Ladybug said pausing. She was looking for a name.

"Lady Vixen." Emma said. Her mother grabbed on to her waist pulling her over to the Eiffel Tower. As they drew nearer the tower she saw Cat Noir waiting there.

"Whose this? What's going on?" Cat Noir asked.

"Cat this is Lady Vixen. She's… Well.. your daughter."

"What!" Lady Vixen and Cat Noir said. This was the first she had ever heard her mother talk about her dad. As Cat Noir studied her he saw his golden hair reflected in hers. Though her eyes were all her mother's.

"I was pregnant when you left but you were gone before I could tell you." Ladybug said.

"Do I get to know who she is?" Cat Noir asked.

"That's all up to her." She said turning to her daughter "All you have to say is Trixx lets rest." Emma thought about it. All she had wanted most of her life was a dad. She wanted her dad to know her, just as she wanted to know him.

"Trixx, Let's rest." She felt the orange glow wash over her. She stood before her dad in civilian clothing.

"Tikki Spots off." Where Ladybug had been standing moments before now stood Marinette.

Adrien was in complete shock. Before him stood this beautiful young woman who ladybug, no Marinette was telling him was his. He had always dreamed about having kids(mostly with Ladybug). Now that is was happening he didn' know what to do. He faced Marinette.

"I'm so glad it's you." He said. "Plagg, Claws in." The three of them were on the top of the Eiffel Tower in civilian clothing just taking each other in. Adrien took a hesitant step towards Marinette, before she threw herself in his arms. They hugged each other tightly. Adrien extended one of his arms to Emma inviting her to join the hug. They all hugged each other tightly. Before they started to hear commotion. Someone was coming up soon; it was a chorus of them calling transformations. Ladybug grabbed onto Lady Vixen and they were off into the night. When they were safely away they stopped.

"Mom what are we going to do?" Lady Vixen asked Ladybug.

"Come with me Chloe would be more than willing to help." Adrien said. Lady Vixen and Ladybug followed behind Cat Noir before the three of them dropped into an alley. Out from the Alley walked Marinette, Adrien, and Emma. Adrien led the way into the hotel. He called Chloe even though it was past midnight she rushed down to the lobby and set up accommodations for Marinette and Emma to have adjoining rooms. Adrien walked Emma to her room and Marinette to hers. He was turning around to go to his own room. When Marinette grabbed his hand.

"Please stay, I don't want to be by myself. This is the first night in a while I haven't had Bella she's at the vet thank god."

Adrien smiled at her rambling before following her into her room. As the both crawled into the bed. Marinette snuggled into Adrien and he held her close. It was the best both of them had slept in a really long time.
