Chapter 49: Month six

It has been now six months since the conceiving. We find Zarc mutilating his latest victim into a doll. The demon heard a thud from upstairs. In a hurry, he put the corpse down and he goes upstairs then opens the white doors to find ray on the floor, in her bedroom. "Are you okay Ray?!" Ray groaned in pain then begins to breath heavily. "It's okay Zarc." She reassured, "It's only a contraction." Zarc gently picks Ray up to her feet and smoothed her hair down. Ray is in a dark blue Victorian dress fit for maternity, and her hair is in a beautiful style where her hair is on her right shoulder and with a bun. She placed her hands on her belly, where the child is growing inside her. Zarc finished smoothing her hair down and then gently turns Ray's head to face him. "You really scared me." Zarc spoke, "You really did." Ray saddened a bit, knowing she can't control such thing. Zarc changed his expression with a warm smile then caressed his wife's cheek. "I'm glad you're okay though." The demon hugs her gently as he placed his hand on her belly. "I must get back downstairs Ray." Zarc said, "Go play while I'm gone." Ray nodded in understood and watched her husband leaving the room, closing the door. Zarc walks down the hall and begins to think. Ever since Ray went into a second trimester, he has been worried for her. Zarc shook his head gently as he entered the chapel. Catherine noticed Zarc's look on his face. "Master you alright?" Catherine asked. Zarc looked at the lunalight monster. "Ray has been in pain then alright." Catherine goes to Zarc, wanting to help him. "Why don't you take a seat." Zarc took a seat at one of the benches in the chapel and Catherine sat next to him. "There is something I have to predict." Zarc has his eyes and ears peeled for Catherine.

Catherine took a deep breath and begins to explain Zarc about Ray. She told him that Catherine is bearing twins. Zarc eyes widened a bit then. Twins she says? Zarc is quite surprised from the news. Catherine looked at Zarc once more to find him breathing softly. "Zarc..." She began, "If it's too much for you, I understand." Catherine stood up but only to have her wrist held by the demon. Zarc looks up and stares into her beautiful yellow eyes. Catherine sighs then sat back down. "If I am correct, the twins will be born all girls." that made Zarc perked up in joy. With more girls in Zarc life, related or not, he can make them into living dolls like with Ray. Zarc imagines twin girls, dressed in a dolly attire. Held gently both by Ray who is in the same attire. Catherine snaps Zarc back into reality. "However," She began, "I could be wrong." Catherine explained to Zarc that her predictions hadn't been good lately ever since the war began. That worried Zarc a bit. Whatever flows the lunalight monster, he'll help her get over it eventually. Zarc nods gently in understanding Catherine. He stood up and left the chapel. Catherine watched Zarc leaving the room and she goes to the stained glass window of Jesus, praying for a miracle that will help her run away from the monster who is under human skin.

Later, we find Zarc mutilating his victim more that he left on pause as he thinks of the twins inside his mind. What if it IS girls? He would love to dress them in beautiful clothing and make them as his dolls and love them dearly in his heart. Zarc sewed the arm up in liking a joined doll manner. As Zarc then sewed a smile on the victim, he begins to think of the twins as boys. If it were both male, Zarc can have new warriors for the war and so that way he has an heir when he finally dies. Zarc did the last stitch on the smile as he gets himself back into reality. Zarc begins to dress his victim in a beautiful powder blue dress. How he does with his victims is he turn them into dolls. Zarc admired at the handiwork, smirking. Zarc heard the clanging of the cages in the dungeons then goes to one cage where it's at. Inside is Schuberta who is more tortured than ever. Her hair is now in a fade dark brown. Her scars are exposed as she is covered in blood. If you look inside her mask, her eyes are seem dull and glass like like fish. She lost so much weight, her bones are exposed from not eating. Schuberta staggers as she crawls to Zarc. "You will never take mistress into your queen.." Schuberta whispered in anger. Zarc smirked at the looks on Schuberta. "Oh please Schuberta..." he spoke, "You will be dead by the time my wife gives birth." The melodious Maestra growled. She fell a bit as she then coughs up blood. It was from the nausea she has earlier from her daily torture. Zarc noticed the placentas scattered and caked on the cell floor. "Guess rape is the torture you get." Zarc chuckled evilly as he find one of his female monsters, Succubus Knight, is carrying one child that is born half dragon, half human in her arms. He watched her taking the child to where she kept her children. "And I bet that's the fourth child you gave birth." Schuberta staggers and tries to get up. "You will NEVER..." Before she finished her sentence, she blacks out. Zarc grinned evilly then left the dungeons. As he does, he thinks. 'What if the twins are BORN half demon?' With that spoke in thoughts, he made it to upstairs.

That night, we find Zarc dress his wife into her nightgown. Zarc undo her hair to it will fall to her shoulders. Ray remembered on how Zarc gets her ready for bed for the first time. She held her belly close as Zarc walked his wife to bed. The doll got into bed and Zarc pulls the bedding over her, tucking her in. Ray noticed Zarc is thinking about the twins. She stood up to look at her husband. She got his attention so he can looks at her. "What's wrong?" Ray asked. Zarc looks at his wife then sat next to her. "I learned you are having twins Ray." Ray nods in listening her husband. "Catherine told me earlier." Ray is then have her hand held by Zarc gently. Ray placed her hand on her belly that bears one, No! Two children inside her. Zarc then hugs her gently and kissed her forehead. "No matter what will happen," Zarc began, "I will protect you and our children." Zarc lays Ray back down to bed and tucks her in. "I will see you in the morning Ray." With that said, Zarc leaves the bedroom and turns the lantern off and shuts the door behind him, leaving his wife to drift off to her wonderland.
