Chapter 28: Love Juice
Lincoln meets up with Luke Paul and is introduced to the band, Love Fist. We see Sam Torrent in the recording booth playing a song for their upcoming song, while Luke and the other band members are outside and doing whatever they were doing.
"AllllllllRrrighttt!"
Luke gave a thumbs up at Sam "Yessss! Brilliant, bloody brilliant!" He turns around and spots Lincoln entering the studio. "Hey, Lincoln! Glad you could make it. Hey, you ever met Love Fist before?" pointing at the band. Lincoln shook his head "No, I haven't but I've always loved your music."
Luke then said to him "Let me introduce you to the band. This is Sully, Mazzy, and Tabby's in the kaze, and that was Sam in the booth earlier," pointing to where he guessed they were "and guys, I want you to meet a good friend of mine. This is Lincoln. We go way back." Nodding at each of them, Sam left the booth and said to Luke "All right, pal. And eh, what was your name again?" he jokingly asked Luke while laughing and proceeded to sit down to the sofas where Sully and Mazzy were.
Luke scoffed and just replied to Sam "Leave it out, Sam you, remember don't be playing them games with me, mate, I'm too crafty for that, sunshine!" He then looked at Lincoln "You see, the thing is, Linc, the boys need some help. They ain't too connected here, they don't have the old 'how's your father?' "
Sam re-explained what Luke said to him "We need some drugs, pal! Gonna get on the old Love Fist fury, you know?!" Lincoln then stated the obvious and said "Well, this is Vice City, man. What's the problem?" Sully then replied "We need Love Juice, man, you know?" Mazzy also crazily said "Love Juice, man!" Lincoln curiously asked "Love Juice?" He may have variations of drugs, but he never heard of this so called Love Juice.
Sam then nodded and explained the ingredients "Aye, two parts boomshine, 1 part trumpet, 5 fizz bombs and a liter of petrol." Sully then asks Lincoln "Can you help us out, pal?" Luke also quipped at Lincoln "Aw, it would really mean a lot to the boys. You can do that for the boys, right?"
Lincoln agrees to give them 'Love Juice' heads to a location to meet with the drug dealer. Upon arriving, Lincoln honked the horn on his car and that signaled the drug dealer to approach him, he asked "Looking for something special? I got what you need!" The drug dealer has what Lincoln needs but takes off with the money and attempts to escape on his PCJ 600. Lincoln chases and kills the drug dealer and manages to retrieve the drug.
Seconds later, Luke calls Lincoln "Hey mate, the guys could do with some company. If you know what I mean…" Lincoln then smoothly replied to him "I know just the girl." The girl he was hinting about was none other than Ronnie, Arturo Cortez's daughter. The two seem very close with one another, he knew it was cool for her to hang out with a couple of drug-boosted rock and rollers. Lincoln heads to Ronnie's apartment to pick her up for the band. He greeted her "Hey Ronnie." Ronnie smiled and walked to Lincoln and said "Hiya Lincoln. And How are you?" He replied "Just fine. Listen, you fancy having Love Fist?" She nodded and rode on Lincoln's car "Ok, but just as a favor I expect returned…" Lincoln and Ronnie manage to reach the recording studio before the band is needed on stage. Ronnie then winked and kissed Lincoln and said "I'll see you later, big boy." She then left to head to the recording studio. Lincoln smirked by the reward he was given. He then got another call from Luke "How you doin' mate? It's Lukey again. Look Lincoln, I forgot to mention we're going to need some extra muscle for the concert. A bit of security. There's a biker gang led by Lynn Baker, it would be great publicity. Very rock and roll, baby. Sort this out for me and I'll get you some back stage passes for the gig, alright?"
Hearing this, he reluctantly agrees to do so. Who is this Lynn Baker?...
