52. Chapter 50 2

Chapter 50 1/2 : The Lake of Wisdom and searching for dolly

Meanwhile far from the church fortress, deep inside the sewers, is the Resistance HQ. The leader of the resistance is Leo Akaba and Co-leader is Scrap Eyes pendulum dragon. Leo is working on the new cards that will stop Zarc as Scrap Eyes is forming tactics that will help get inside the fortress as it will fight of Zarc's monsters. One resistance member Kite Tenjo (a/n What? He's in Arc-V too. not just in ZeXal.) is still mourning for the deaths of Crow and Alexis, who died at war imprisonment. Scrap Eyes took notice on the mourning warrior. "Kite what's wrong?" The small dragon asked, "Is there something I said?" Kite looks at the Dragling. "We tried so hard to fight but we kept loosing so many lives." Kite makes a really good point. They lost so many lives in the Resistance and there is only a few left to fight off Zarc. Even the monsters were killed in war. Scrap Eyes sighs then hugs Kite. "I understand buddy." Scarp Eyes spoke, "But we'll defeat him." Leo came in with some news about his research. Kite took a deep breath when he saw Leo. "Alright, what's the deal?" Kite rudely asked. Scrap Eyes flew to Leo's shoulder and lands on it. "I think I've found a way to stop Zarc once and for all..." The scientist announced, "But the development could take me months..." Scrap-Eyes joined in the announcement to tell them what is it. "It is part of the En family." Scrap-Eyes announced, "Relatives to En beginning and en animals." Kite shook his head gently but is listening. "The other cards worked," Kite stated, "But not well enough." Leo knew what Kite is talking about but the scientist has more to say to that. "I think we need to spread them out more." he suggested, "Not just one card. But again, this could take months." Another one of the resistance members named Haruno Mihara, is curious about what shall they do while they wait. "So what do we do in the meantime?" She asked. Leo looks at Haruno with slight reasoning. "Recon." Leo answered, "Scout around Zarc's fortress, see what you can learn that we can exploit." Kite likes the idea that Leo suggested. Maybe it will help the Resistance on knowing what is Zarc's weakness. The other members however, don't know what Leo means by what he said. Scrap-Eyes begins to translate it to something simpler. "In other words." He began, "Spy on zarc and see if you get something from him." The members understood now what Leo meant. "Great, and just pray we don't get caught and butchered like Crow and Alexis!" Leo understood about the Xyz duelist member about the situation then spoke. "This has to end sometime, if you are too scared, stay down here." With that said, Scrap-Eyes begins to cluck like a chicken, in his way of saying unless one of the members are too chicken.

Few months later, it is now march and spring. In the early afternoon, we find Kite keeping low to the ground, scouting potential weak spots around Zarc's fortress with Joy, Yusei (who escaped but has very bad mutilations on his arm), Yusei's Stardust Dragon, and Scrap-Eyes. Joy Jeever, one of the dumb blond but strategic member of the Resistance (a/n not meaning to stereotype people, this is just a story.), is watching what's going on inside. "This really freaky." She stated, "He had dragons for knights." Kite begins to hush her. "Keep you voice down!" The Xyz duelist is using some kind of scanner to check out the fortress and the machine detected something. "I'm getting some heat readings from the high tower of the center of the cathedral." he said. Joy whispered in asking him what is it. "Not sure, it's really deep in there." He suggested, "I'm gonna have to head further in." Kite then looks at Joy. "Stay here." He ordered, "If I'm not back in an hour, head back to base and assume I'm dead" Joy agreed to the order and Kite turns on his stealth screen, making him invisible. He starts moving through the bushes and near the main chapel. Yusei and Scrap-Eyes followed Kite and went inside. Kite looks around to see if Zarc is not around, so he is able to slip inside. Following the heat on his scanner, he heads upwards.

Meanwhile, Yusei and Scrap-Eyes sneaks around the Cathedral. As they look around for some clue that will help them fight Zarc, they came upon one of the experimental rooms. Inside such room is a beautiful lake with a mountain that has a cave. Stardust, who is affected by a portable solid vision around his neck like Scrap-Eyes had on, is so mesmerized by the sight. The three members went to the lake and Scrap-Eyes with Stardust begins to drink the water. Yusei found a sign that is titled "Lake Of Wisdom" Yusei looked back and found the two dragons swimming in the water, enjoying it. Now the two dragons are spitting water fountain style. Scrap-Eyes spit the water fountain style into Stardust's mouth. "Don't spit it into his mouth!" Yusei cried as he watched Stardust gargled the water and watched him spits it back into Scrap-Eyes mouth. "Don't spit it back!" Scrap-Eyes has the water in his mouth. "Oh don't swallow it." Too late. Scrap-Eyes swallowed the water, making Yusei turn away in disgust. The two dragons kept playing and swimming in the water and as they does, Yusei heard Zarc coming. In time, he pulled the two dragons out of the water and hides behind the rocks. Upon the mountain is Zarc, who is lay his arms out, taking in the sun, feeling the breeze. Not knowing, Zarc then unzips his pants and begins to sigh in relief. From what it looks like, he is urinating into the Lake of Wisdom. Turns out it is his personal toilet. The two resistance members watched in utter shock and disgust from what they're seeing. Stardust gagged as he tries to turn away with his mouth covered in going to throw up. Scrap-Eyes just hugs him self moaning in disgust. "Ugh horrible turn of events." Yusei spoke in disgust, "Horrible." The members kept watching Zarc peeing in the water. Stardust cries in disgust as he covered his eyes. Scarp-Eyes is still disgusted from the sight as he begins to clean his tongue with a rock nearby. Once Zarc is done peeing into the water, the demon went back into the cave for more cleaning. Yusei watched the monster leave. "Well not so much like the Lake of Wisdom." Yusei stated, "It's more like the Lake of PISSdom." Of course that didn't stop Zarc noticing on someone breaking and entering. "Who goes there?!" That scared Yusei. In a jolt, he turned on the stealth screen on himself and on the dragons and they ran away to get out to join Joy.

Back with Kite, we find him heading upstairs. Creeping upstairs, Kite is finding the source of heat, it comes from a room. He clicks the door open and finds Ray's lavish room. She's asleep, and Kite heads to her bedside. He places his hand on her belly. Ray stirred and squirmed a bit but not waking up. Kite pushes Ray's hair out of her face, pulls the covers back a bit. Ray is still not waking up but shivered from Kite's touch. Kite noticed something on Ray. he can see she's pregnant. "Oh god... oh no..." Ray opened her eyes but still asleep. "Hello?" Ray called out in greeting, starting to drift away as she is still dreaming, "Is it me you're looking for?" With that said, she fell back to her bed asleep. Kite looks at the sleeping doll. " Are you... Ray?" He asked, "Ray Akaba" The Xyz duelist takes off his stealth screen. From what she sounds like, she is a heavy sleeper. Kite lost bit of his patience so he decides to wake her up. "Oh for shit sake, WAKE UP!" With that yell, Ray jumped in surprise, making her go through the ceiling and screamed muffling. Kite groaned and pulls the screaming doll down. "You!" he cried, "Stop screaming!" Ray calmed down a bit to look at Kite. "Are you Ray Akaba?" Ray took a few deep breaths before talking. "Yes." She answered, "I am Ray Akaba." Kite nods gently then begins to speak to her. "Your father sent me to find you." Ray is slightly worried about such idea. "You've been up here?" Ray answered yes but is trying to warn him that he must leave before Zarc comes in. As she does, she heard Zarc coming in with an opening door in a sound of a slam, making Kite put on stealth screen quickly. "Ray!" Zarc cried, "Are you alright? I think someone broke into the cathedral!" Ray knew she is okay so she told him that she's alright. Zarc then held his wife by the waist. As he does, Zarc squeezes her tightly, holding her tightly, breathing heavily. "Just stay here, let me know if you see anything." Zarc ordered, "I'm not going to let anything happen to you." Ray understood her husband. She noticed that Zarc smelled Kite's cheap hair gel. It made Kite start skirting around the room, trying to stay out from under his nose as Zarc looks around, noticing something is wrong here. The demon then released Ray and she sat down on her bed, signaling Kite to leave the room, and watching Zarc racing out of the room, looking for the intruder. "What the hell are you doing?" Kite angrily asked while in stealth, "Trying to get me killed?!" Ray shook no then told Kite she'll join him later. Right now for her, she is on maternity. Kite understood her about it then looks at her, asking if Zarc sexually assaulted Ray. "No he didn't." Ray answered, "I guess I was in heat." Kite looked at her in disgust and shock. "That's disgusting!" He cried in disgust, "How could you sleep with that guy, let alone have his kid!" The two argued about Ray and her sexuality with Zarc as Ray is telling Kite she wasn't doing it on purpose. Yes Zarc DID made her addicted to his cock but she never mean to get so into sex like that. Ray even explained about something that Zarc has that made her go into heat.

The argument goes a little long and Kite then groaned and rubbed the temple of his face. "I will give you three months, 2 to have your babies, and one more to get them to strength." He spoke to the expecting mother, "If you don't come with me at that point, you're on your own." Ray sighed gently then looks at Kite. "Will do...wait!" She realized, "How did you know I'm having twins?" Kite looks back at Ray. "You just told me." Ray sweat dropped with a nervous laugh since she forgot about what she said. "Anyways I'm alright though." The doll said, "He didn't hurt me." Kite begins to rant about how Ray was for months saying. "Oh no, of course not." Kite spoke in a sarcastic tone, "Just locked you in a tower, kept you from your family and destroyed the city and killed a bunch of innocent people, but hey, LUCKY YOU! You get to sit your pampered ass up here while we're out there dying!" Kite kept ranting and ranting about Ray's pampered life as she is imprisoned by Zarc. As he does, Zarc slammed the door open once more. Kite stops ranting when he heard Zarc coming. Ray saw her husband with a nervous smile. "Hi babe." She greeted, "Forgotten something?" Zarc is seemed paranoid at the moment. "Something isn't right," Zarc answered, "I know someone has been in here..." Kite then quietly slips out the open door, promising himself to return in a few months. Soon he joins Yusei, Scrap-Eyes, and Stardust as they ran out and joined Joy so they can escape. "Next time." Scrap-Eyes began as they run, "Remind me not to sneak there again for a drink of water." Because of that, Scarp-Eyes will never set foot on the Lake of Wisdom again.
