Chapter 30: Alloy Wheels of Steel
After successfully killing the crazed psychopath from last time, Lincoln has started helping the band Love Fist organize their concert but manager Luke Paul is looking for a security and he suggests Lincoln to meet the local Biker gang's leader at The Greasy Chopper. Luke mentioned a while back that the leader's name was Lynn Baker, so he already know where to look. He then headed to the said establishment.
Lincoln approached the bartender and asked "Where's Baker?" The bartender pointed out to a scruffy looking man who's playing pool with a couple of other guys. Lincoln then approached the man and asked as well "I'm looking for Big Lynn Baker..." Lynn turned around toughly asked "Who's lookin'?"
Lincoln directly replied "Lincoln Vercetti."Lynn glanced at him for a few seconds to make sure he wasn't some sort of cop. Looks like he was in the clear. He then spoke up. "Vercetti. You don't look like the law, so that's bought you a minute." He leaned using his pool cue "You better talk fast." Lincoln then explained what he wants from him "Luke Paul said you might be interested in pulling security for a gig he's got set up."
Lynn snickered "Luke Paul? Sheesh! No wonder he sent ya." He then continued to play pool "The last time he was here he left through the window in nothing but his limey birthday suit." He chuckled while saying that. Lincoln crossed his arms and asked "Are you interested or not?"
Lynn then replied "We only do favors for our own." Lincoln, aware this guy wouldn't be forced, then inquired "How do I join?"
Lynn chuckled and said "This ain't no country club, boy." He then looked at him "Can you handle a bike?" Lincoln calmly said "Can you sit on a stool and drink?" Lynn snapped his fingers and called his two crewmates "Cougar, Zeppelin, go see how this girl handles a bike..." All of them went outside and proceeded to the race, the race's starting line is at the bar, drive around the city and back to the bar to finish the race. Lynn went out because he wanted to see the action, and possibly, see Lincoln fail. They were all in their places when one of them mocked at Lincoln "All right, fancy clothes. Let's see what you can do."
The race starts off and the crew were somewhat ahead of him, a few minutes into the race however, they were shocked to see him not behind their rearview mirror, but in front of them. And strangely enough, Lincoln manages to win the race, thus proving himself worthy handling a bike and being part of the gang.
