Chapter 52: Asriel and Saria
It's now nine months. Ray looks like she's ready to give birth as she is asleep, in Zarc's arms. The sunlight hits Ray's face, waking her up. Ray stood up and find Zarc asleep, holding her. She smiled warmly then strokes his head gently. Her expression changes to sadness. She knew that she have to leave him next month once her children are strong. Zarc stirred a bit then woke up and find his wife with a sad look. "Nightmare?" Zarc asked. Ray knew she have to lie so she spoke yes and told him she's okay now. Zarc stood up and kissed her lip, showing he loves her. As he does he place his hand on Ray's belly and rubs it gently. "It won't be long Ray." He reminded, "This is the last month for our children to be inside you." Zarc bent himself over and kisses Ray's stomach and rubs it more gently. Ray remembered something. She have to finish the two plushies that she had been making for the twins inside her. Ray got out of bed and she waddled a bit to the wardrobe. Zarc came after her and helps her find a dress to wear. Zarc went through the wardrobe and found a beautiful, maternity salmon dress. Zarc helps Ray out of her nightgown and he begins to put the dress on her. he ties the ribbons up that is on the back and Zarc smoothed the dress down, keeping the wrinkles off. Once that's done, Zarc held his hand out for Ray's and be held by Ray. He escorted her to the vanity desk and he pulls out the make up so he can put them on Ray. "Now please hold still my dear." Zarc begins to put on a beautiful shade of pearly pink on her eyelids along with putting on falsies on her. Ray felt Zarc putting the eye shadow down and goes to the hair next. "So beautiful Ray." he complimented, "Even when you're expecting." Zarc brushes her hair, counting the strokes. Once finished, he pulled a few strands back into a small ponytail. He ties it up with a white ribbon to give off a pearly look. Zarc went back to the make up and he pulls out a tube of lipstick to put on Ray. "Look at me for a minute Ray." Ray held still for Zarc as he put on a pretty shade of pink sand lipstick on Ray's lips. To top it off, Zarc puts on a nude blush and puts pearls on her ears, around her neck, and on her left wrist. "All done." Zarc then shows the look to Ray. She looks stunning. "There now," Zarc began, "Don't you look beautiful?" Ray knows she's beautiful, even without makeup. She nods in telling the truth. Zarc smiled warmly as Ray got off the vanity bench with some help. "Zarc?" Ray asked as she looks into the mirror, "Am I that beautiful to the children?" Zarc smiled then hugs behind her. "You are beautiful to them." Zarc answered, "And they're ours."
Few hours later, It is Stormy, snowy weather out in the afternoon and the couple were in the bedroom still, since Zarc is taking a break for his wife. Ray had just finished making a plush doll of Schuberta and of Odd-Eyes for the twins. Zarc is behind her, massaging her shoulders as he admired Ray's handiwork. "There we go." Says the doll, "Perfect for my little girl." Zarc looks over as he kept massaging Ray's shoulder's. "It'll be any day now." He spoke with a smile. Ray looks at the doll then spoke. "Yes.." Ray then looks at Zarc, "But what if they didn't make it?" Zarc strokes the doll's head gently. "Don't think about that honey, " Zarc reassured, "Lets just concentrate on becoming parents." Ray smiled warmly then put the dolls down to rub her belly gently. Suddenly, she felt a kick. It isn't just any kick, it is a sharp one. Ray felt the babies kicking inside her. It is so full of kicking and punch. So much, she fell to on fours then groans in pain. Zarc took notice on what Ray is going through. " Ray!" The demon rushes over to his wife, hoping she isn't hurt. "Honey, what's wrong?" Ray is groans in pain as she grasped her belly. "Zarc..." She began,"They're coming." In reaction, Zarc picks her up and carries her downstairs to the chapel. He sets her down on the alter, the room bright red with the stained glass pouring in. Ray groaned in even more pain as her grip tighter. Zarc whistles for the monsters then turns back to Ray. "I'm here Ray," The demon reassured, "I'll help you." Ray is panting as she felt a contraction. In return, Zarc strokes her head and his and Ray's monsters came to Zarc. Odd-Eyes is the first one to speak. "You called Master?" he asked. Zarc looks at the dragons and the fairies. "Ray's going into labor." The demon answered, "I need everyone's help." Odd-Eyes saw the situation then looks back to Zarc. "We'll help you in this." With that said, the monsters is getting the birth ready and they must do it fast. Why? Because what Ray is giving birth, are born half demon.
Soon, everyone sets themselves up around the alter, Zarc takes Ray's hand as Catherine did the same. Sonata is going to be the one who is delivering the twins. She lifts the dress up a bit, Looking between the doll's legs as Winter Bell and Star did the same. "She's crowning!" Sonata cried. Ray felt another contraction as she pushes but the child isn't coming out a bit yet. Tears wield up in the doll's eyes. She never been in this MUCH pain before. Zarc is scared for his wife. He hoped his wife and children would be safe and sound once this is over. "Keep it up Ray." Zarc encouraged as we see Sonata looking between Ray's legs again. Sonata shook her head a bit then looks back. "We're not progressing much..." Ray gripped her stomach even more, screaming in pain. Zarc held her head up a bit so she can breath and be propped a bit for giving birth. Sonata looked at Aria. "Aria, help me here!" She ordered. With that said, Aria goes to Sonata, telling her sister that she's here to help. Sonata hands her a mask like the one she has. "Mistress, you need to push!" She ordered to Ray then looks at her sister, "Aria, sit here with me, help me hold!" Aria went will do and do as she was told. While at it, Ray pushed with each contraction, groaning in pain then screams as more tears coming down her face. Zarc is holding her hand and stroking her hair, trying to comfort his wife. Sonata felt the baby's head coming to her fingers. "I think we've got the first one!" She announced as she grasp the head, "Mistress push!" The doll pushed even more, groaning in pain. Sonata noticed the first baby is almost out of Ray. "Almost got it!" Sonata announced to Ray, "One more push!" Ray pushed one last time as Aria helped Sonata even more. Ray let out a scream of pain, feeling the first one is out. The first child cried it's first breath. Zarc wiped the sweat off of Ray's forehead with a rag. "Mistress, it's a boy!" Sonata spoke as she hands the screaming boy to Aria, "Gimme one more push! We've got one left!" Sonata is right; Ray still felt some weight of the second baby. She's almost done though. Full of determination, pushed hard trying to get the second one out. Ray pushed one last time and the baby is out. "Oh! It's a girl!" Sonata spoke in joy, "She's fussing!" The melodious diva tugs a little on the baby to be sure it's fully out. Zarc kissed Ray's forehead, relieved that Ray is going to be okay. "You did it, Ray..." Ray looked to see if her the twins are okay. "Does this means I won't be pushing anymore?" She asked. Sonata is cleaning the tiny girl with care. "No Miss, you've done it." Sonata answered, "We've cut the cords." Sonata and Aria then brought over the two babies, wrapped in soft blankets, both crying. Ray smiled warmly as she shook a bit, before she black out from the hard work she done. Zarc takes the children into his arms and looks at them. "So this is what Ray spent so many months fussing about.." He says to himself.
It's been hours since Ray given birth to the twins. Outside the fortress, the snow storm had stopped with the whole ground and fortress covered In Snow and we find Zarc gently cradling them, looking at them. The twins have something in common: Silver hair with green streaks and purple eyes. Of course, in contrast: The boy's fringes are more of Ray's; his mother. Zarc thinks a bit before he speaks. "Welcome to my world little ones." The demon then walks outside to show off the destroyed city in the distance. "Soon, everything here will belong to me, and you can both join Daddy!" Zarc looks down to his children. "Won't that be fun?" He asked. The little boy sneezed and cause of that sneeze he sprouted tiny wings that are similar to Zarc, curious, aria looked and the baby girl has the wings as well. Zarc smiled warmly when he saw the little wings. "Oh, so proud!" Soon, he brings them both back inside. "Just remember my one rule kiddies..." He began, "Mommy is mine!" He walks back over to Ray. He let Sonata and Aria take the two children, as Zarc strokes Ray's hair. "Honey, honey!" Ray groaned then begins to wake up and looks at Zarc with her tired eyes. "Zarc?" The demon kissed her gently. "You did it Ray." The demon spoke as he then motions the girls to come over with the babies, "You're a mother." Ray stood up slowly and then obtains the twins. She then held them gently in her arms. "They're perfect." Ray stated, "You remember the names we chose Zarc?" Zarc looks at his wife with a soft smile. "Yes..." He answered, "Do you still like those names?" Ray nodded to the question "Our daughter is named Saria and our son is named Asriel." Zarc is happy that he has a family. Finally a family of his own. "Welcome to the planet.. Asriel and Saria.. He hugs Ray as the doll smiled warmly then looks at her bundles of joy. 'Don't worry my children.' Ray thought to her newborn twins, 'Next month, we're leaving.' Zarc nuzzled his wife, telling her that he can't hardly believe that he finally had a family. Ray closed her eyes as her heart melts. 'I'm a mom now papa.' Ray thought more, 'You'd be so proud of me.'
