Chapter 53: We're Leaving
It's been a month since the twins are born. We find Ray on the rocking chair, breastfeeding the two bundles of joy, smiling. Ray's expression changed a bit to sadness, knowing what she did turning became corrupted in the mind. Zarc corrupted her memories far too long. Somehow though, he failed to make her forget on who she is. With Ray no longer pregnant with her children, she be able to escape Zarc. The doll felt the twins stopped suckling her breasts as they fell asleep. She smiled warmly then take them to their cribs. As she does, she heard Zarc coming to his wife and hugs her from behind gently. Ray looked from behind as she find Zarc nuzzling her neck. "Zarc please." She gently pleaded, "I just put them to sleep." Zarc stops to look at his wife. "Well they are kinda fussy when sleepy." Ray remembered on how the twins were screeching in anger as they want to sleep. It's 'cause Zarc can't control his sex drive. So they decided to go easy on their sex life and let the children get what they deserve. The couple left the nursery and heads to the kitchen so Ray can make cookies. She formed a plan that she is going to pour in the sedative into the cookies and drugs Zarc and his remaining three dragons into sleep that will last for ten hours. Her monsters and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon knows the plan so they agree. Zarc picked Ray up so she doesn't have to walk. Not that Ray doesn't like it, she has been in her heels it starts to hurt. It felt kinda nice from being carried. Soon the couple got to the kitchen, where they find Windwitch Winter Bell, Ray's personal nugget chef, is getting the ingredients ready and getting the cookie sheets out. Zarc gently put his dolly wife down so she can go to the items that she needs. Zarc held her hand gently so she'll look at him. "I need to head out Ray." Zarc reminded, "I'll see you later." With that said, he kissed Ray on the lip and she kissed back. Ray watched her husband leaving the kitchen as Winter Bell did the same. Once he's out, Ray looks at her monster. "Got the sleeping stuff?" Ray asked. Winter Bell held up a vile of the medicine and Ray obtains it. "Let's do this."
Meanwhile, Zarc is out at the destroyed city with Dark Rebellion and they are flying about to find any more survivors. Of course that didn't stop them from finding a store that has a beautiful dolly dress for Ray to wear. Dark Rebellion lands as Zarc looks at the dress. Since Ray is no longer pregnant, she can wear clothing in that size again. Zarc heads inside to get the dress. While at it, he find new jewelry to go with it. It is pure sapphires and Lapis Lazulis. He obtains them, placing them into the chest where he placed the dress in there. Dark Rebellion watched his master who is gathering things up for Ray to wear. Once that is done, Zarc left the shop and got on Dark Rebellion. "Take me to the cosmetic shop." Zarc ordered, "We're gonna need more blue eye shadow." So Dark Rebellion takes flight and then took Zarc to a cosmetic store, where all beauty supplies are at. He lands in front of the store and Zarc just head inside. Zarc looks around and he find a few palettes of eye shadow and blush that he can use on Ray. "Wow could use one of those instead of carrying small capsules of eye shadow." Zarc grabbed a few and he saw something that caught his eye. He goes to the item and what it seems is a beautiful shade of pearly blue (a/n Katy Kat pearl lipstick that is in powder blue. Perfect for cosplays and dates.). Zarc looks at the lipstick. He remembered that he got Ray a dolly outfit that will be beautiful with blue on eyes and lips. In time, he obtains the lipstick then placed it with the other cosmetics he obtains. Soon he got everything for Ray. Now all he needs to do is to get things for the twins like diapers and food. Zarc left the building and got on Dark Rebellion. "Take me to the baby shop." Zarc ordered, "We need to get diapers." Dark Rebellion then took flight under Zarc's command. What they didn't know though is they're in a big surprise.
Back with Ray and Winter Bell, Ray is mixing in the ingredients and she pulls out the sedative vile. She opens the bottle then pours in the whole thing into the dough. Winter Bell sent Star to send the message, to the remaining monsters except Starve Venom and Clearing in the fortress, about the plan. Star salutes then took flight in the fortress. Winter Bell head back to Ray who is now rolling the dough out. "How is it mistress?" Winter Bell asked in anticipation. Ray looks at her Windwitch monster who is asking for the answer. "It's doing well Bell." Ray answered, "All is according to plan." Ray then cut the dough with cookie cutters. She cut them in hearts, starts, ice cream cones, teddy bears, and little birdies. "Think you can make the icing Winter Bell?" The doll asked. Winter Bell nods in yes and went to get the ingredients to make the icing as she pulls out the sprinkles for the cookies too. The girls begin to set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit since they ARE sugar cookies. Ray placed the cutted out dough on the pans as she waits for the oven to be preheated. She looks at the sedative bottle as she hopes that it will work. Winter Bell noticed the look on her mistress's face then goes to her. "Mistress it will work." Winter Bell reassured, "I seen it many times when my nieces go into pain." Ray smiled warmly as she felt a hug from her monster. Soon the oven is preheated and Ray placed the cookies into the oven and sets the timer to six to eight minutes. "Now we wait." Ray spoke as she sat down to watch. It lasted a few seconds if the babies in the nursery hadn't cried for her. Maternity instincts kicked inside Ray. She got up quick then ran upstairs. "I'll keep an eye on the cookies for you Mistress." Winter Bell yelled in letting know. She turns back to the oven, hoping the cookies will come out right.
Later that night, Ray spiked his drink with a very effective sleeping pill. Bloom Diva made chamomile tea earlier to go with the cookies. Ray set the tea party up as she waits for Zarc to come home. Once Zarc comes into the bedroom where Ray is at, he sat down on the chair across from her at the table. Zarc smiled warmly as he caressed her cheek. "I see the cookies look good Ray." Zarc complimented with a laugh, "Oh well, bottoms up!" he downs the whole thing along with the cookie. Something's slightly off though; Zarc can't put his finger on it. "Tastes funny..." Zarc stated, "That vodka in there?" Ray remembered she added a bit of vodka. She answered yes to the question. "Also there's a surprise in there." Zarc left confused but felt slightly funny. "Whatever it is, it kinda leaves a so-" Before he finished his sentence, he left a thud and Zarc falls over unconscious from the cookie and the tea. Ray stood up and out of the chair, finally free from Zarc's power. Ray then dragged Zarc to her bed then tucks him in, in tears of sadness and regret but showing she is fed up with Zarc's evil actions, she left a goodbye note beside him. Ray then went to the babies' nursery and gathered up the twins along with the plush toys and blankets Ray made for them. In time, Ray then grabbed a basket and into the experimental room and she gathered different fruits and vegetables for the road along with a big glass bottle of water from the stream. Ray then gathered up her monsters goes to the dungeons and find Schuberta in her cell and with Odd-Eyes' help and the remaining dragons asleep, thanks to the cookies, they freed Schuberta. "Thank you Odd-Eyes." Ray spoke, "For everything..." Odd-Eyes gave Ray one last hug goodbye as he does the same with the female monsters. Ray hugs back then left with the things she obtained for the escape. Soon they find Kite, waiting for her outside. He Meets up with Ray outside, letting her take his glider with her. They fly over the city, to a hidden grate. Kite tugs the grate open, making enough room for all of them to get in. "In here, hurry" Kite ordered. So Ray and her monsters did, as the doll has the fruit and veggies with her in her basket and the twins in her arms. Ray looked at the fortress one last time, before she cries and thinks. 'I'm sorry Zarc.' Ray thought in regret, 'But it's for the best of us and for our children.' With that said, Ray sheds a tear, making a drop of make up run, ruining her beauty.
