Chapter 55: The Rise of Supreme Dragon King Zarc

Morning has risen for the dolly. No surprise really. She had joined the Resistance last night only because she has been under Zarc's control far too long. We find her tending the twins, breastfeeding them. She smiled warmly at the two suckling infants who is trying to get milk from her. Scrap-Eyes, who is helping Ray with the twins, goes to Leo with his research. "Any luck Doc?" Scrap-Eyes asked as he climb on Leo's shoulder. Leo looks at the small dragon then nods. "The cards are almost ready Scrap-Eyes." Leo answered, "It has enough power to defeat Zarc but it's almost ready." Scrap-Eyes looked at the cards and saw that each of them has some power to fight off Zarc. It is the power that fairies can use. The small Dragling isn't a fairy fan himself but he knew that it is enough to fight off a dracon devil like Zarc. He climbs off of Leo and goes to Ray who had just finished feeding her children. As she is done, Ray saw Scrap-Eyes coming to the maternal doll. "I thought I could check on you Ray." Admitted the dragling, "Even after you ran away from Zarc." Ray turns away gently out of sadness and guilt, knowing that it really hurts her. "Hey Ray don't cry." Scrap-Eyes reassured as he held her hand, "When this war will be finally over, we get to have our peace of mind again." Scrap-Eyes tries to make her laugh as he told her stories of his adventures with his uncle Odd-Eyes. Ray smiled a bit as Scrap-Eyes noticed. "Eh! I see that lip curling up." Scrap-Eyes chucked from her attempt. Ray picks Scrap-Eyes up then held him gently. "Thanks Scraps." She said, "Like your uncle, you're a really good friend." She then pets the monster on the head. From such petting of her soft, porcelain hand, Scrap-Eyes purred and curls up in her arms like a little kitten. With that said, Ray smiled warmly and fell asleep.

Meanwhile, the noonday light comes in through the window at the fortress, bleeding onto his face and finally waking him up. Ray's tea and cookies had knocked him out for nearly 10 hours. He stirs awake, feeling the bed below him, but it felt off. It was too light. Lifting himself up, he looked around the room. Ray was missing! He stirs up quickly, realizing, when his hand brushes against the note she left.. He picks the note up and begins to read it. Dear Zarc is began:

"Thank you for the care and love you have given me. I'm really happy that you did your best on tending me like I am your doll. It's time I that I should tell you on how I really felt. I know I promised you that I won't leave but I have to break my promise for reason. The thing is, as much as I love being pampered by you, I can't stand you to hurt people and destroy the creation of the world. I still love you with all my heart but I couldn't take it anymore and I can't lie to you anymore. In order to keep you from corrupting my mind and our children in the future, I took them with me (along with my monsters and the fruits and vegetables you grew for us). I hope you understand that even we love each other, it hurts so much. I wrote this on our vows... Goodbye my dragon king..

Your loving wife,
Ray"

The room falls eerily silent, as Zarc reads the letter over and over. His fingers twitch with the paper, feeling a rage boiling inside him like nothing before. His breathing becomes steadily louder and more haggard, until it bubbles over... Zarc screamed out of anger and distress unlike any other Dracon Devil cries you hear. A brilliant burst of red lighting shatters across the sky from the top of the cathedral. It's visible from all over the city, even deep underground... Kite and the rest of the resistance took notice on what is happening. The only think he could utter from his mouth is "Oh my God." Zarc blew open the top of the building with his rage, the only thing that stands is the patch of stone he is on. On his hands and knees, he breathes heavy. The dragons surrounded Zarc, who is sobbing into his hands. It's unclear what he feels right now. "Master what's wrong?" Clear wing asked in concern. Zarc managed to speak as he has tears in his eyes and who is heaving hard. "... She's gone... my darling... my Ray... she left me!" The grief strucked demon answered, "She said she wouldn't leave me!" His voice now sounds like he is screeching. "SHE LIED!" The sky then begins roars with thunder and lighting due to Zarc's anger. Clear wing found the letter Ray left behind then picks it up. He reads on what it said and looks at his master. "At least she still loves you with all her heart." That didn't calm Zarc down; he heaved harder with growling of a dragon. "What did I do wrong?" He angrily asked, "I gave her everything she asked for!" The demon then slams his fist down, making a crater. "... Take me to the city... she's there somewhere, I know it!" Odd-Eyes shook his head. He knew that Zarc would say such thing. This time from this dragon, he is putting his foot down as he had enough of Zarc's evil ways. "Well for starters you destroyed half the city that's what you did wrong." Odd-Eyes pointed out the obvious as he shows he had enough, "You gave her everything she asked for and is thankful for those, she told me and sonata about that all the time." Once that said he put his foot down with a low growl. "Also I'm sorry, we can not do that anymore." The remaining dragons noticed how Odd-Eyes felt. So they decide to join him. That is right, they had just about enough of Zarc's sadistic, twisted, and evil ways on the world.

Zarc looked up at his dragons and noticed how they felt. They somehow go against him emotionally. "What was that?" The demon demanded answers. Odd-Eyes cleared his throat to clear it up for Zarc to hear. "We will not do your evil bidding any longer." Odd-Eyes defied his master. "Your mother raised you better than to do what Satan does that involving destroying creation." Zarc growled from what Odd-Eyes said. How DARE such dragon to defy his master. "Also you are very lucky that Ray is thankful for the things you gave her." Zarc glared at the pendulum dragon. "Have you been fraternizing with the prisoners Odd-Eyes?" Zarc angrily asked (a/n Uh-oh, here comes Yellow Diamond!), "Because that sounds an awful lot like insubordination!" Odd-Eyes' gonna get it now. He has been fraternizing Schuberta for months since he loves her. He tries to lie and trick Zarc so he can escape but it's not working. Zarc then roared at top of his lungs. "ENOUGH!" Black Aura begins to swirl all over Zarc out of anger. "I have had it up to here with this place!" Zarc then stood up with scales beginning to expose on his skin. "Everything I do is countered by something else!" Clear Wing backed away a bit out of fear. "As a child, I was a freak for having you as friends, as a teenager, the world shunned me." Zarc continues on in anger, "As an adult, I found myself surrounded by fake holograms and lies!" the demon growled softly with slight twitching in his hand. "And just when I found peace with the only person I have ever loved, she leaves me!" He closed his eyes with blood coming out for tears. "After everything I've done for her!" he spoke, "Well, no more!" Zarc opened his eyes as more black aura radiates around his body. "First thing I'm gonna do, is find my beloved wife!" He goes on with anger in his heart, "Then, I'm going to make her watch as I destroy everything she loves!" Dark Rebellion felt Zarc's anger as he still backs away a bit. "I'll finally put her in that case and keep her locked up forever, as I rip through this god forsaken planet and tear it to shreds!" Zarc opened his eyes as it glowed faintly, looking at his dragons. "And you four are going to help me!" In time, Zarc raises his card Astrograph Magician. the dragons are angry at him but they got a terrible feeling about what's going to happen. "Through this... WE SHALL BECOME ONE!"

The Demon summoned such monster and ordered him to use his ability to fuse. With that said, Astrograph Magician work his magic and let a ball of light to the sky. The sky rips open, absorbing all 4 dragons along with Zarc, swirling in a cloud of red and black lighting. From the underground, Ray watched out of fear, seeing that her husband had really lost it. Kite ordered Ray to get back underground for safety. To Ray's eyes, from the sky descends the Supreme King Dragon, an immense monster who's wings stretch across the skies, cloaking the planet in night. The monster roars, shaking the very earth. In the screech of his voice, the sound of a distorted human voice is heard. 'I will find you!'
