This is also my first FanFic
All percy can do right now is just look on the floor, he can't believe it the war was over. But so was the life of his wise girl, he couldn't even protect her, she had to protect him from an attack from Gaea. Right now that's all he could think of and how they had the rest of there days planned. Going to Camp Jupiter and living there, but that all out the window because he could not protect Annabeth .He is standing in front of the gods , not really paying attention to Zeus's speech.
Just looking down onto the marble floor, as he heard someone say his name. He really didn't care right now, still sad about recent events. Until Zeus yelled his name. "Percy Jackson!" was heard super laud in the room. "umm, did you say something lord zeus?" Percy said looking up at everyone looking at him. Most Romans were a little scared he just talked to Zeus like that as if he was just a random person and not one of the strongest gods .
And all of his friends and gods were face palming. "Did you even listen to what i said?" Zeus asked percy. "Uhhh, Yes?" per said but it sounded more of a question. "Never mind, let's just get on with it, so we the gods have come to the conclusion that the , uhh.. Five and nico plus the demigods who have fought in the two wars will get the same immortality as the hunters " zeus stated. " wait what about Percy?" Jason asked, "We will give him another offer," Zeus explained. "So Do you guys?" Poseidon asked all of them to nod at once. With that zeus extended his arm and put it on them.
"Percy Jackson step forward, '' Poseidon said. Percy then stepped it a little opening in front of everyone, first bowing to Zeus then took a knee in front of his father. "Stand up son" son" Poseidon told percy. He stood up. " now we asked once before and we will ask again, Will you become a God and be my lieutenant?" Gasps were heard all around the room , mostly from the Roman's. Did he really get offered to become a God? And was this his second time offering this to him?
Now most of the seven did not know this either and they were all thinking the same thing 'we are talking about this later'. Percy looked at his father and told him the same thing as last time. " Like last time I am grateful for this offer but as I am going to reject this offer, I am sorry father" percy adding the last part seeing his father's fall a little. "Well since we expected that we made another offer similar to your friends" Now that was interesting to Percy. "May I ask what this offer is" asked Percy "Ahh yes so we will give you the same immortality as your friends, plus you will get a gift from us, the same as last time". "I would accept this offer thank you, but right now I don't think , unless there is one thing I can think of… but I don't know if you would do it " percy said
Zeus looked at him with a questioning look. "And what is this wish" Zeus asked "Well I feel like we can make the 12 olympians to the 14 olympians. I mean I feel like it would be beneficial to the gods. I was thinking of Hades and Hestia. Hestia because she should be an Olympian in the first place , and I feel like hades as proven to you that he may care and he has helped us with the last two wars." Percy said with a little wary because it was big and if Zeus doesn't like this he could just kill him right there.
Zeus had a look that you can't really tell what he was thinking. 20 seconds have passed and none has moved or even spoken. Percy is just looking between Zeus and his father. After another 10 seconds of silent zunes spoke again. "Very well" he said as he looked at Poseidon "We have concluded that we will accept your wish to have hades and hestia, have a throne and become a part of the Olympians". Zeus said as he moved his arms and 2 others as two thrones sprouted from the ground.
Hestia was sure that she would ever get her throne back. So when percy got her throne back she ran to percy and hugged him saying how thankful she was before letting go of him, giving him a smile and walking to her throne. Hades was more surprised because he just thought that they hated him. So out of respect he went up to percy and gave him a handshake and thanked him as well before going to his throne to sit down.
Percy just went back to his friends specifically Nico and thalia and started to look down at the floor again. Percy was about to question life again and think of Annabeth when Apollo screamed "Let's get this party started" as everything changed to a party style. He just sat down at a table and started at everyone. "Are you good kelp head" thalia said as she sat down next to him. "Yeah I'm good, why do you ask" percy replied
"Yeah sure and the sky is green"
"Actually it is , have you seen the northern lights?" He asked
"Shut up, you know what I mean you have been brooding a lot you know"
"No I have not "
"Sure…"
They didn't talk for a minute
"You know she would want you to move on and live a happy life you know". Thalia said
"Yeah I know" percy responded
"Hey look I know the feeling about losing friends and loved one but you need to move on, you don't need to fully move on and forget her but just keep on going… it gets it, I know how it feels .I have lost so many hunters , and then Luke and finally Annabeth… I miss her, I really wish she could be here right now. Just know that no matter what , I'm here for you , Nico is here, Jason , Piper, Hazel , Frank Reyna , hell even the weirdo Leo is here and we care for you. Just remember we love you.
"You're going to make me cry, you know thals"
"Well it's the truth kelp head"
"Well you might be right here pinecone face" percy said while laughing
"Now like I said , Annabeth would want you to have fun so let's go, I hate dancing but I need to distract you right now".
"No, I don't want to die!" Percy nearly screamed
"Why would you die now percy?"
"Because I don't know? Maybe you are the lieutenant of the most powerful man hater in the world?" percy said sarcastically
"Well come on if she asks why I'll take the blame , plus she knows I think of you as a brother."
"Well if not her maybe your hunter friends , which some are glaring at me by the way"percy said
Thalia looked at the hunters who were glaring at him. She just glared back at them. They quickly started to look elsewhere. "Don't worry about them ,they're just the newest hunter , the ones from before know that we are just like siblings" she said smiling.
"Fine but if I get beaten up you own me"
"Deal , let's go" she said while taking his hands and dragging him to the mob of people on the dance floor
As they danced Artemis was looking at her lieutenant and the hero of Olympus twice dance she kind of smiled knowing how much he meant to thalia, she still watched to see if he tried anything though.
Some of the hunters were glaring at Percy while some were just looking to see if he would do anything. And some were telling the younger ones about how he is one of the only men to ever be allowed to hug her.
*Time skip*
Percy has gotten to camp after the night of partying. He Danced with thalia a little with hazel and piper. Even Tryna danced a little with him. He was tired plus Leo did some super hyper dancing.But after everything he was done and tired. He was still thinking of what Thalia had told him as he got a picture from his desk. It was a picture of him and Annabeth sitting under a tree talking about a book and him just laying there listening, and sitting on his bed. "You know Annabeth , I will never forget you" he then put the picture back and grabbed her yankee hat.
You know maybe she was right and I have to move on , but I think I will have to leave.. at least for a little while. As he said that he put the hat on his bed and grabbed his Adidas sport bag and grabbed some of his clothes and put some in. He then grabbed one more and looked at a bookshelf and a desk next to his desk. Annabeth had told him on Argo II that she moved some stuff here because it was the way to remember Percy and give her hope.
He looked at some of the books and he also looked at daedalus's laptop . He quickly got some books that looked interesting and the laptop and put them in the bag before going to sleep.
*Time skip*
Percy woke up and quickly checked the time at 6:00. Ok it time to get up. He quickly got up and took a shower then. Double check everything before leaving them on his bed and cleaning up the room. It was kind of clean except his bed. He didn't really mind. He quickly checked the time at 7:30, breakfast starts at 8. He quickly got out of his cabin looking around people walking around he said hi to some people walking by. He ran to the big house. Knocking on the door soon chiron was at the door in his wheelchair. "Ahh percy come in come in what can I do for you"
"Well chiron I wanted to ask if I could get a ride to Manhattan" percy asked chiron
"And what for are they leaving so soon?"
"I have many reasons , one is that I want to see my mom but you also want you to know that I might not be here for a couple of years."
"And why is that percy?" Chiron asks worried
"Its just I need my space and time right now, don't worry i will try to come back but yeah… plus I feel like I'm bad luck you know the first like 6 years and two wars have past so I think time away may get rid if the bad luck"
"Well percy" chiron said sighing
"Ok but you need to remember you at bad luck so you can come whenever you want"
"Ok thanks can I have it by the end of breakfast?"
"Sure percy, speaking of you got 5 minutes till breakfast"
"Ohh I got to go thanks chiron"
"No problem," Chiron says while Percy walks to the door and passes it.
As Percy walks down the hill he sees everyone going into the pavilion.
As he enters he goes to the Poseidon table. He and the rest had arranged it with Poseidon that he let them all stay at his table. As everyone sits next to him thalia to his left and nico to his right. They start talking , at least until Jason ask percy, "Did you really have the opportunity to become a God twice"
They quieted down Reyna, Hazel,Frank,Piper and Leo also wanting to know this. "What do you mean twice I only got it yesterday" percy tried to lie. "Naw don't lie percy we heard Lord Posiden say again" leo replied "ok I may have gotten it the first war to" they were shocked "And you didn't take it" Jason asked "Your flaw is showing you know Jason, yeah I didn't take it besides I think I was better for the dish I got".
"What do you mean 'wish I got'" tryna asked
"Well Reyna let me ask you this. Has there been something different when new demigods come to your camp?" Percy replied
"Yeah the have been older now they have been nothing but 14 or 13 year olds" Reyna said
"Ahh 14" percy said
"Hey at least they are trying, I mean they're close you know" thalia said
"Yeah sure, anyways. The gods gave me a wish I could have wished for almost anything, like becoming a god" he said the last part looking at Jason "but anyways I declined because I knew I could use the wish for the better…"
"And because he so wanted to e with Annabeth" nico said which left Thalia laughing so hard and piper squealing
After a couple of hits in the arm to Nico by Percy he continued.
"Anyway, yes part of it was also because I liked Annabeth, anyways I wished for them to start to pay attention to their children. That Also includes them claiming their child by the time they are 13 years old."
'Wow' was all they could think of.
"anyways I want to tell you guys that I'm going to leave after breakfast for a couple years so that I dont give all of you bad luck" percy said before getting up to throw his food away and was going to his cabin before thalia grabbed his and said
"Percy! You can't just leave like that!"
"Sure I can," Percy said while smiling before leaving.
" Ugggg, I'm going to talk to him"
Thalia said as she got up and went to his cabin, just to see him looking at a picture of him and Annabeth.
"Hey I thought we went over this" thalia said
"We did and as you said I need to move on. So I might finish high school and see where I go there. I mean I don't really want to go to college in camp Jupiter now. But if I got to one I'm going to one in New York. Dont worry pinecone face I'll be there if you guys need me I'll just be in new york"
"Ok fine but you need to be careful, ok?"
"Ok.. mom"
"Hey!"thalia hit his shoulder while he started to laugh
"I'll see you at the top of the hill."
"See you" percy said with a smile
*Time skip*
Percy was leaving his cabin and going up the hill when he walked past nico and another dude called will
"Hey where have you been these past 3 days I didn't see you" will said
"Well I don't know I thought you would be-"
Was all Percy heard before he passed them. As he was about to leave the cabin area he felt an arm catch his hand and it was nico.
"You really think you can pass by without saying bye?" Nico asks
"Maybe , I don't know. But anyways see you later" he says as he gives nico a hug
"Wait percy, alI want to say is that, i use to have a crush on you but not anymore, were cool you are not my type"
"Way ah what wait what, what" was all percy could say.
Nico was about to leave but this time he was the one that had their hand caught.
"So"Percy said still a little surprised
" I'm not your type huh, so what do we both have the same type? Smart and blonde" percy said as he looked at will
"What am I talking about?" Nico asks flustered
"I don't know, I mean I have seen you before. Either way I support you , go get him . Percy said as he let go of nico and gave him a smile.
Nico still a little flustered smiled back and turned around to go to his will.
As Nico turned, Percy got the attention of will. Percy quickly made the look into my eyes and then pointed at will and made a heartbreak with his hands, pointing at Nico running his thumb through his neck at will.
Will seemed to get the message because he looked a little scared , he looked back at Percy and he was smiling again, waved goodbye and ran up the hill.
Once he got up the hill every friend of his was there. Saying goodbye.
Everyone saying their goodbyes and hugging him and wishing him luck until thalia who hugged him wished him goodbye and then hit him on top of his head and told him to be careful.
"I'll see you guys later," he said before looking behind them and looking at the camp.
"See you later, camp half blood , you will always be my home" before turning around and walking to the van, Argus was ready to go.
