Its been a while since I worked on this story, so I'm doing that now, I also improved my typing skills from the last time I published the previous chapter so I hope this will be better. On to the STORY! EvaUnit15 own's nothing but his OC's and idea's
Chapter 2
Jeremy sighed as he kept typing on his computer in his room, looking for anything new about the supercomputer and looking for any easier ways to get Mia to the activated tower.
Before he could continue, the others came in with Odd asking a question.
"Hey Einstein, how's it going?" Odd asked with a grin as he sat on Jeremy's bed, Ulrich leaning on the wall opposite of the bed while Yumi sat on the bed as well.
Jeremy sighed as he stopped and spun his chair around to look at them before speaking.
"Not good. I can't find anything that will help us get Mia to the tower easier without you guys fighting any of the monsters XANA sends your way." Jeremy said as he took off his glasses to rub his eyes.
Before any of them could say anything, Jeremy's computer made a sound as something appeared on the screen, causing Jeremy to turn back around while he places his glasses back on and looked at it with confusion.
The others came up behind him to see as well, Ulrich saying what was on their minds.
"What's that Belpois?" Ulrich asked as he stared at the image of a closed envelope.
"I don't know, but we're about to find out." Jeremy said as he clicked on it to open it, what they saw appear next was paper with something written on it.
"'To awaken thine Princess's Knight, thou must have the princess sing the Knight's song.' What in the world is this going on about?" Yumi read and spoke aloud.
"I don't know, maybe Mia knows something." Odd suggested, Jeremy already moving the letter over and opened another window that shows a girl with pink hair and green eyes.
"Hello Everybody." the girl said in greeting.
"Hello Mia," Jeremy said before continuing.
"We're just wondering if you know anything about this?" Jeremy asked while sending a copy of the letter to her.
After a few minutes, she shakes her head while replying.
"I don't know, but I did notice that it has a voice message with it." Mia said while the group looks at the letter closer to see the message in one of the corners.
"Why didn't I notice that?" Jeremy said to himself while Odd chuckles after hearing that.
Jeremy clicks on the message, making it open and showing a black screen with a green line going through the center.
"Um, what is that?" Odd asked as he raised an eyebrow as he looked at the screen.
"Don't know, but we're about to find out." Jeremy said as he clicked the play button, only for static and garble to come out.
Yumi looked at it with wide eyes along with Ulrich and Odd, Jeremy had a raised eyebrow as he listened to it before snapping his fingers, getting the other three's attention.
"It's encoded, I just have to decode it to play normally." Jeremy said as he started the process, but after a few minutes, the bell rang, signaling that classes are beginning.
Jeremy sighed as he got up and turned to the others as they got ready to head off to their respective classes.
"I'll have to finish it later, we got to get going before we get in trouble." Jeremy said as he grabbed his bag and walked out the room with the others.
Mia, who was still on the screen after the door closed, was looking at the voice message and letter with a curious look before she started working on decoding the voice message.
"Might as well get this done." Mia said as she worked on it while sitting cross leg in her tower with the screen floating in front of her.
"I wonder what it is." Mia said to herself as she continued typing, until the screen made a sound, signaling that the process is done.
Mia looked at it before pressing the play button.
"Let's see what you are." Mia said quietly as she stared at the screen before it started to play.
When it finished, she had a surprised look on her face as she tried to figure out what it was that she heard, for some reason, it brought a feeling she doesn't know about in her chest.
"What was that?" Mia asked herself as she stared at the screen.
A vibration through the tower interrupted her from doing anything else, making her eyes widen in horror.
"XANA's attacking." Mia said quietly to herself as she got up and ran toward the wall and walked through, going to the tower that was activated.
Back at Jeremy's room, the group just arrived after class got out, Odd complaining about what they learned.
Before he could say anything else, Jeremy turned around and ran out the door after he got a glimpse at his computer screen, Ulrich and Yumi following.
"What's going on?" Odd said before he looked at the screen, only to jump back in surprise when he saw the symbol of XANA on it, he turned around and ran after the others.
When the others got to the factory, they headed down to the supercomputer, Jeremy noticing that Odd was missing.
"Where's Odd?" Jeremy asked the others, getting shrugs from them.
"No idea probably got caught by Jim on the way here." Ulrich said as he heads to the elevator, Yumi following him before they both went down to the scanner room.
"Alright you two, its time to help Mia before anything happens to her." Jeremy said over the intercom, before sending them both to Lyoko, where they appeared in the ice region before falling to the ground from the ten-foot height.
"Alright, now where is she?" Ulrich spoke to himself as he and Yumi were looking around to find the pink haired girl.
"Over there!" Yumi said while pointing to their right side, making Ulrich look that way to see Mia waving them over as she hid behind large ice boulders with the tower a few ways from her spot.
As they ran to her, they noticed she was making a quiet motion with her hands, making them slow down to make little to no sound as they got to her spot.
"Alright, what was that about?" Ulrich said quietly as he looked at Mia, Yumi doing the same.
"I didn't want you to draw attention to our spot." Mia said quietly before continuing.
"Look over at the tower's base to see what I mean and what I found when I got here." Mia said as she looked out from cover, prompting Ulrich and Yumi to do the same.
What they saw at the base of the tower surprised them greatly, along with Jeremy as he had a live feed from them.
At the base of the tower were many of XANA's monster's ranging from what they know as Kankrelat's to Blok's and a large creature that had glowing parts all over its body with it left arm from the elbow down being a sword, surrounding what looks like a giant suit of knight armor that was mainly black with gold lines going over the edges and had a cape that was white on the outside with the inside being blue.
The knight armor was on a large platform that had chains hooked up on one end and the other end of the chains were being held by the giant while the other monsters were surrounding the knight with a couple of them patrolling the area.
"Wow, XANA must really don't want us near that knight." Odd said from his spot behind the three, making them jump slightly while they whirled around to see him crouching like them with a sheepish grin while he waved a little.
"Wait, knight?" Yumi said with her hand on her chin before her eyes widened as she looked at the others.
"A knight! Remember the letter from earlier?" Yumi asked as she looks at them, seeing realization dawn on their faces.
"Oh yeah, I bet that's the knight the letter talked about and I'm also guessing that Mia here is the princess." Odd said as he patted Mia on the shoulder, getting a small blush from her before laser's blasted by the group, making them scatter from their spots to see the Kankrelat's and Blok's making their way towards them as they fire.
"Crap." Odd said as he fired at the monsters with his laser arrows, destroying many that he hit. Yumi launched one of her fans, making it arc through the air before it sliced through more of the monsters while she deflected laser's back at them with her other fan.
Ulrich pulled his sword from its sheath before looking at Mia and spoke.
"Come on Mia, I think I figured out what the letter meant." Ulrich said as he got in position to charge with his sword ready.
"Right." Mia said nervously as Odd and Yumi got in position alongside Ulrich before all three of them ran while Mia ran behind them towards the horde of monster's, their objective clear.
Ulrich was in the middle of Yumi and Odd as they ran and destroyed monsters as they went, as they were going Jeremy was speaking to Mia.
"Ulrich's right, we need to get you to that knight so you can awaken it with the song, I need to finish decoding it." Jeremy said as he was about to open it up before Mia interrupted him.
"Don't, I already did." Mia said as they got to the knight, Ulrich, Odd and Yumi keeping the monsters away s Mia climbed up onto the platform and got close to the knight before climbing up until she was on its chest, she noticed a red gem-like stone that was in the head of the helmet and that the eye holes, at least she thought they were, filled with darkness.
"So is she supposed to play the song or what, sing it to the knight?" Odd said jokingly at the end while shooting and destroying some more monster's.
"I believe so, but I really don't know but its worth a shot." Jeremy said before he saw something.
"Guy's you better hurry it up, cause that big guy does not look like its going to keep waiting for much longer." Jeremy warned the group as they took a glance at the giant to see it turning around slowly.
"Then we better hurry up."Ulrich said while he slashed at a Blok, destroying it before deflecting a laser back to a kankrelat, destroying it.
He looked up at Mia and yelled.
"Hurry up and wake it up already before our big friend thee flattens us!" Ulrich yelled while slashing at a few Blok's.
"Give her more time." Yumi said as she threw her fans and sliced through many blok's.
Mia brought the song up and started playing it. When it finished there was no reaction from the knight, she was about to play it again when she noticed the giant was about to slam its sword arm into the ground around her friends.
As it crashed into the ground, many monsters were destroyed while the group was thrown through the air and landed on the platform, groaning as they got up.
Mia thought of many things to help but none of them would work, then she remembered what Odd said earlier, then she brought the screen up and typed as quickly as she could and pressed play while she sat on her knees on top of the knight's chest.
The song started playing the music, but no voice, which caught the groups attention as they looked up to see Mia singing the song perfectly.
"Oh so quietly
Eyes of the angels open wide, Aria
To a world yet unseen by you
Arise
The journey's begun" Mia sung as the group looked on before they looked back at the giant as it raised its sword upward, preparing to bring it down on them.
"Heaven is spilling her heart around
Open your palm and see what you've found
Somewhere in the fog, a moment we forgot
Remember my darling you're loved but you're lost" Mia continued to sing as the giant brought its sword down with overwhelming force, but it was stopped by a sphere of energy that appeared around the group when it was impacted.
"Raising your hands to a beckoning sky
SPlinters of light are burning your eyes
Wounded and blind
And pining for
The gaze of a mother" Mia sang as she didn't notice what was going on or ignored it as the field disappeared when the giant lifted its sword up before slamming it down again, only to get the same results.
"No, no you can't go back
Don't you dare and try to go back
Step by step you're all alone
Walking towards tomorrow" Mia continued the song as the others were staring with surprised expressions as this happened.
"I follow you beyond the clouds
I search for your love in my dreams
Seeking west end wind, east end sea
We have one, one destiny
The traveler walks alone searching for me
Never end" Mia sang as different colored particles of energy appeared that started to go toward the knight.
"Light is falling from broken things
Somehow forgetting we used to have wings
The stars in your eyes are begging to shine
Crying for love to relinquish the fire" Mia sang as the particles were stopped by a field that was a few centimeters from the knight's body that had XANA's symbol everywhere.
"Listen oh listen, a call from the dark
So far to travel so close to your heart
Answer my prayer
And the mystery that is buried within" Mia kept on going with the song as the field on the knight's body flickered as the particles kept pressing against it.
"No, no we can't go back
Don't you dare and try to go back
Sacrifice 'til journey ends
Make my wish come true again" Mia sang as the field on the knight's body broke and the particles went inside the knight's armor, causing it to glow as more particles appeared and entered it.
"I follow you beyond the stars
And long for your love in my dreams
Seeking west end star, east end sun
And thy will shall be done
The traveler walks alone searching for you
Never end" Mia continued as the others looked on in amazement as all the particles entered the armor, leaving it to glow for a few seconds before the glow subsided.
"You are the light I need to shine on times like these
Soul to soul
I believe
We are bound eternally" Mia sang as the sphere of energy around them was destroyed by one last hit before the giant lifted its sword arm to its highest it could reach. The group braced themselves as they got ready to fight.
"I follow you beyond the stars
And long for your love in my dreams
Seeking west end star, east end sun
And thy will shall be done
The traveler walks alone searching for you
Never end" Mia finished the song as she opened her eyes to see the giant bring its sword down toward them with all its strength and closed her eyes along with the others as they did the same reflexively.
When they didn't feel anything, Odd opened one of his eyes to see something that caused him to open both eyes with a gasp, causing the others to open their eyes as well to see the same sight.
The knight's left arm was up and had its hand holding the blade back that was a few feet away from Ulrich, Odd and Yumie before it pushed back, causing the giant to fall backward's onto it's back.
Mia and the others were amazed by the sight before Mia turned her gaze to the knight's helmet to see the darkness be filled with a set of ruby red eye's that were staring straight ahead of it before it started to get up, causing Mia to crawl and slide off its chest and land next to her friends.
As it got into a kneeling position, the knight looked at the group, more specifically at Mia before it spoke in a voice that made Mia remember the owner of the voice from her past.
"You came for me, girl." the knight said as it stared at Mia.
In her mind, it showed a white knight like figure holding its orange left arm out to her and spoke in the same voice, before she was brought back when the knight in front of her moved slightly, bringing her gaze up to its red eyes and spoke with awe and remembrance in her voice.
"It's you." Mia said as she stared at him, making the knight chuckle slightly before it spoke.
"In this form, I'm known as Alphamon," Alphamon stood up as he lifted his left hand and held his palm towards them, causing a green sphere to form around the group, making the group beside Mia freak out slightly as they saw the sphere float into the air and went to Alphamon's side, out of the way before Alphamon finished speaking with power in his voice.
"the Alpha Knight!" Alphamon finished as the giant in front of him got up onto its feet before it swung its sword toward him, making Alphamon catch it with his right hand before he raised his left hand with his pointing finger aimed at its head and green energy gathered into a small sphere.
"What is that for?" Odd asked before the others could say anything the sphere shot forward into a beam and went straight through the giant's head, causing all the glowing parts to lose their glow and it's body to explode.
When the smoke cleared, Alphamon was standing there with his back to the group before he turned around and gestured with his hand toward the sphere, causing it to lower to the ground and disappear.
"Woah, that was awesome!" Odd yelled excitedly, getting a chuckle from Alphamon before he looked at Mia and gestured toward the tower.
"After you, mi'lady." Alphamon said as he stepped aside like he was opening a door for her.
Mia giggled as she went up to the tower, before entering it she turned to Alphamon and did a curtsy.
"Thank you." Mia said as she entered the tower.
"Now its time for her to remember." Alphamon said to himself.
"Jeremy, you there?" Ulrich said while looking at the sky.
"Jeremy?" Yumi said, also looking up with worry.
Alphamon closed his eyes and concentrated, after a few seconds his eyes snapped open before he aimed his palm at the three, making them look at him with surprise.
"You need to help your friend, he is grave danger." Alphamon aid before he shot them with energy beams, devirtualizing them.
He waited a few minutes before he saw a globe of white light growing bigger and spreading out at a high speed.
Before it passed over him, he chuckled to himself.
"Time for the fun to start." Alphamon thought to himself as his vision was filled with white before it changed to black.
