Chapter 36: Two Becomes One

AN: Hey everyone! What's this? Another chapter? Yeah, I've been pretty busy and I'm working hard to keep it going. I hope you enjoy this one and
I'll get started on the next one soon.

***I don't own anything in this story, so please don't sue me.***

'Hurry…hurry…' Virginia sprinted as quickly as she could towards Vaniville Town. 'Not Serena…I can't lose Serena.' She sprinted as fast as her legs would carry her towards her girlfriend's home. Virginia wasn't as well trained as her sister, so when she finally stopped, she made it only to the edge of town. She groaned with disappointment as she felt she made it further than she did.

"Guess I'll start walking…" She took short, deep breaths and she began walking towards town, but it turned to a light jog.

"Virginia! Wait up!" Misty called out as she ran after her. Virginia waited while Misty caught up to her.

"Jesus, you…uh…oh God…gimmie…gimmie a…a minute." Misty placed her hands on her knees. "You…you're…you're pretty…pretty fast." She took deep breaths and slowly exhaled.

"Misty, I need to get Serena. I'm nothing without her. If she's not by my side…" Her eyes started watering and she began crying. "She's more than just my best friend. She's the one. She's the only one I want to be with. Forever…without her, I can't go on."

"Virginia, you're strong enough to stand on your own. Sure, maybe Serena is hurt by what she heard, but when she hears your words…I bet she'll understand. You'll propose, she'll say yes. It'll all work out, you'll see." Misty told her. "Keep it together. You're going to be fine."

"You say that, but what if she leaves me? What if she never wants to marry me?"

"Stop thinking negatively. Start saying positive shit." Misty reassured her. "Do you want to go over what you're going to say?"

"I don't even know where to begin." Virginia murmured.

"Well, let's bring out our friends." Misty stopped by a lake and called out her Pokémon. Her Pokémon were staryu, starmie, psyduck, goldeen, and gyrados. Virginia brought out her Pokémon as well; Zap, Torch, Aqua, and K-9.

"Now what?" Virginia questioned.

"Pretend I'm Serena. Tell me what you want to tell her." Virginia shook her head.

"No. I…I can't. Everyone thinks we're a couple. If I pretend I'm in love with you-"

"But you're not. You are in love with Serena Yvonne. Everyone knows that."

"But Bonnie-"

"She doesn't understand. You said it yourself. It was out of context. Now, are we going to practice or do you want to blubber through whatever you're going to say?" Virginia thought for a moment before nodding. She stood across from her and smiled.

"Serena…um…h-hey." Virginia nervously spoke up. "L-listen up! I want to marry you and have kids and a great big wedding and-"

"Ok, hold up. That's way too forward. You can't just say what you want. You'll scare her off." Misty informed the woman. "You need to work your way there. Talk about your favorite memories. Moments that brought you together…like, you know. How you met and all that. Speak from the heart, Virginia!" Misty called out. Virginia took a deep breath and slowly exhaled.

"Alright, so how we met. You came into town when I worked in Alola. I bought a ticket to every show when you performed in Melemele Island. And I thought you're so incredible…I still do, by the way." Virginia admitted. "You remember the moment when we went on our first date? I still remember the stars…it was the best night of my life. I just knew…I just knew that I wanted to be with you." Virginia bit her lip and nervously chuckled. "…this may be a bit selfish, but I didn't just want to be your friend. I wanted to be your girlfriend. And after all this time, I don't just want to be your girlfriend…I want to be your wife. Serena, nothing would make me happier than seeing you every day for the rest of my life."

"See? Now that's what you need to say! Right guys?" Misty turned to the Pokémon and they all gave approval to the Cerulean gym leader's words.

"Everyone…thank you." Virginia smiled. K-9 barked and ran up to his trainer and licked her face. "K-9!" She laughed and rubbed his head. "You'll never leave me, right K-9?" She asked like if he had a choice, he might. But K-9 barked happily and nuzzled her head against Virginia's.

"Virginia, you're going to be fine. Speak from the heart and what comes out will be true. You two are a perfect couple and nothing can break you apart. You're just having a little quarrel…every couple has one of them."

"Sure, but…what about Serena? She might say no."

"What did I say about thinking positive?" Misty's foot tapped up and down. "Virginia, you've got this. I know you can do it." Virginia gulped and nodded. Misty recalled her Pokémon while Virginia kept hers out. They walked to Vaniville Town and Virginia was deep in thought the whole way; running what she wanted to say to her girlfriend.

'This might be my last chance to speak from the heart. Give it all you have, Virginia.' She thought to herself as the two entered the small town. They approached Serena's home. Rhyhorn was in the front yard and he roared with joy as he saw Virginia.

"Hiya Rhyhorn!" Virginia hugged the horn on his head. "Is…um…Serena-" The door flew opened to reveal Serena's mother standing inside with an angered expression on her face.

"You!" She scowled at Virginia.

"Grace, I know what it seems like, but-"

"Leave."

"No." Virginia stood her ground. "I wish to speak with Serena."

"She doesn't want to see you." She folded her arms. "I treated you like family and you repay me by hurting my daughter? What makes you think I will grant you any access to my child?"

"Just one conversation. I swear…if she won't take me back, you'll never see me again. I swear." Virginia begged. Grace's expression softened ever so slightly as she stepped to the side.

"She's upstairs. Genny is up there too. So, I advise you to speak quietly so she doesn't get scared." She advised the princess. Misty took a step forward, but Virginia held out her arm.

"This is my fight. I'm going in alone."

"Virginia-"

"No. If it doesn't end well…it's better if it's just us." She turned to her Pokémon and knelt down. "All of you need to stay here. I have to do this alone." Torch, Zap, and Aqua all whimpered with worry, but Virginia rubbed their heads. "I'll be back, I promise." She walked inside and headed upstairs. Genny was fast asleep while Serena sat on the edge as she looked up with rage in her eyes.

"Out back. We're not speaking here." She quietly walked downstairs; pushing Virginia to the side. Virginia felt hurt, but she had to break through. She followed her out back and Serena shut the door before Virginia could exit. Frustration was building, but she opened the door and walked out.

"Serena-"

"I. Fucking. Cannot. Believe you." Serena scolded quietly.

"But you didn't-"

"I gave you my heart. And you…you didn't care for me at all."

"Serena, I-" Virginia's eyes began watering.

"I don't need you." Serena's eyes watered. "I'll save Genny. I'll bring her home." Serena sniffled and rubbed her eyes. "I won't let you hurt me ever again. Just…get out. I don't ever want to see you again." Virginia froze in shock. Her words cut deeper than any weapon ever could.

"Y-you're…you're so mean…" Virginia began crying. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry…" She lowered her head and with that, she turned around and ran out the front door. She passed Grace and Misty without stopping; sobbing and running as fast as she could away from the house. Her Pokémon followed suit and chased after her. Serena came to the front door; her eyes still full of tears and her breath staggered.

"We're done." She quietly said before taking a quick breath and rubbing one eye with her hand.

"What did you say? Misty asked with a look of restrained anger. "You didn't even let her speak, did you?"

"Well-"

"You have no idea how she really felt about you, do you?"

"She-"

"What did you hear? I want to hear from you what you heard, exactly." Misty's eyes narrowed.

""Am I supposed to walk up to her and speak the truth? That I don't want her to be my girlfriend anymore? Do you think it's easy for me to be open and truthful about my feelings? I'll…I'll never forget it…asshole." Serena cursed while she rubbed her eyes once more. "I ran home after hearing that. I caught up with Bonnie and told her everything, but I knew…Virginia never loved me. It was all fake. She lied to me for-"

Slap!

"So you have no idea. You don't have a fucking clue." Serena was in shock that her friend had slapped her. "You such a fucking idiot!"

"How dare you speak to my daughter like-"

"Wait, what do you mean? What was she-"

"She wanted to marry you, you fucking idiot!" Misty screamed at her. "She's lost without you! She adored you! And now, she's heartbroken that the one person she wanted to spend the rest of her life with just rejected her!" Serena was silent; she had no words to reply for Misty.

"I…she…"

"The part you missed…was that she didn't want you as a girlfriend. She wanted you as her wife. She was prepared to devote her whole life to you." Misty's eyes burned more than Serena's.

"…oh God. I've made a mistake." Without hesitation, she bolted after Virginia; hoping that she could still make amends with the Hylian princess. Further ahead, Virginia continued running and sobbing. She made it to the Aquacorde Town and ran around a building; hoping to hide herself until she could pull herself together and stop crying.

'Damn it…I'm sorry, Serena. I really messed up…FUCK!' Virginia quietly sobbed as her Pokémon approached her. Aqua walked up to her and licked her tears as if she were going to stop her from crying.

"Was I stupid to think it would work between us?" She sniffled. "I should've never opened my big…dumb mouth." She heard her phone ring and checked it and saw it was Serena calling her. She clenched her teeth and ignored the call.

'Probably wants to tell me how much of a jerk I am.' Virginia sniffled and put away her phone. It rang again and it was, again, from Serena.

"Stop calling me…" She quietly stated like she was talking to her, but instead, she ignored the call. A third call from Serena was enough for the princess. She threw the phone as hard as she could away from her and looked around. Just a bit further down behind the house she was hiding behind, she saw a red door.

"Come on, guys. We're leaving." She returned the Pokémon to their balls and ran through the door without a second thought. Meanwhile, Serena raced into the same town.

"Damn it, come on…pick up. Please…" She called her again, this time she heard a feint ringing. She looked around and followed the sound.

"Hi, you've reached Virginia. Sorry I can't answer right now, but if you please leave your name and your number, I'll be sure to call you back as soon as possible. Thank you!"

"Damn it." She hung up and called again. She heard the feint ringing again, and followed it. It was getting louder, but she still couldn't find her.

"Hi, you've reached-"

"Virginia, please…" She called once more and heard the ringing. She found Virginia's phone on the ground; no cracks and still intact. "Virginia!" She called out, but there was no response. "Virginia!" She yelled, but again, no one replied.

'Probably ran back to Lumiose City.' She took a deep breath and exhaled before sprinting towards the big city. Meanwhile, where Virginia actually ended up was a whole new world for the princess. It was still dark outside and most buildings around had their lights off.

"Alright…this is…new…" She looked around and it looked like a simple, peaceful town. It was spacious, quiet, peaceful town; but to Virginia, it was far away from her ex.

'I feel bad for Genny…but, I hope Serena can save her.' She sighed as she brought out her Pokémon. They looked around and stretched.

"Hey guys…" Virginia said quietly. "We…um…we're going to be alone for a little while…" Virginia looked around with sadness in her heart. "Right now…I think I'd like to take a little nap." She found a nearby tree and curled up into a ball. K-9 snuggled up next to her and the other Pokémon followed suit. Virginia fell asleep quickly due to the lack of noise around her. What seemed like a few hours, but in actual time, the sun was up; it was maybe noon or near that time. Virginia stretched and yawned before her stomach growled.

"Looks like we need to get some food." She got up and started walking around. K-9 was the first to wake up and started stretching. Followed by Torch, Zap, and Aqua. The group started walking towards the town square to find some place to eat.

"Good morning!" One person said as Virginia noted the female duck who wished her a good morning.

"Um…m-morning." She passed a rabbit man.

"Hello!"

"…hi." She quietly said as she looked around. She saw a raccoon man walking towards what looked like a large shop.

"Ex…excuse me. I…do you know of a place where my Pokémon and I could get some grub?" The man turned around and cheerfully smiled.

"Pokémon? We don't get many of them. I think I got something inside. Come on in!" He opened the door and Virginia walked in alongside her Pokémon.

"My name's Tom Nook! Feel free to admire what I've got while I take a look in the back." Tom walked into the back of his shop while Virginia was left admiring all that he was selling.

'Wallpaper, floorboards, carpets… is that a shovel? And an axe? Wow, he has a lot of stuff.' Virginia stared in amazement.

"Good news! I still have a couple large bags. I'll sell 'em to you for…how about five hundred bells apiece?"

"B-Bells? I…I don't have bells." She held out her money and revealed only dollars.

"No bells?" He questioned. "Do you have any money?" She nodded and he thought about it. "What money is it? Poké dollars? Rupees? Golden coins? What's your currency?"

"I have some Poké dollars. What is the ratio from Poké dollars to bells?"

"Two hundred dollars is probably fair." Tom nodded his head. "Hey, I'm not trying to mess with you. I want to give you a fair deal."

"I never accused you…nor would I have accused you of cheating me." Virginia pulled out her money and handed it to him. "I can't eat Pokémon food. Where would I go for food?"

"There's a café in town…wait, hold on. Where are you from?"

"Hy…Hyrule, but-"

"Hyrule, huh? So you probably know the queens, Zelda and Samus. And the young princess, Samantha."

"How do you know them?" Virginia questioned.

"I, along with Mayor Isabelle, and Sable and Mable…you know, the Able sisters?"

"The…what?" Virginia questioned him.

"The Able sisters. They're the greatest clothing designers I know of. How about this? I'll introduce you to Mayor Isabelle and after I do that, I'll go look for a reasonable place for you to stay. You wait here and I'll go find Isabelle."

"That sounds wonderful, thank you so much." Virginia smiled and he handed her two large bags of Pokémon food. She handed him the money and walked outside. She opened one bag and made a bunch of piles for her allies. Her Pokémon happily ate the food and Virginia began petting her Pokémon.

"You know, maybe…maybe this won't be so bad." She rubbed Torch's head. "It's been a long time since we've had a break. We could go on a vacation. No worries, no problems…" Virginia began nodding her head. "Yeah…yeah, ok. Let's do this." She looked around and saw a train heading into a dark tunnel. "We'll stay here for a night and then get on that train and go…I don't know where it goes, but we'll just go. What do you say?" She questioned her partners. Aqua and Zap mewed with joy. Torch nuzzled against Virginia's body and K-9 licked her face.

"K-9…" Virginia laughed while she kissed his nose. "You're such a silly boy."

"It is nice to see kindness between you and your Pokémon." Virginia turned to see Tom and small Shih Tzu woman.

"Isabelle, this is Virginia." Tom smiled.

"Why, hello Miss…"

"Hyrule. My name is Virginia Hyrule."

"You mean you're Virginia from Hyrule." Tom corrected her.

"No. My name is actually Virginia Hyrule." Tom gasped as he stared at her with shock and awe.

"You…you're actually the queen's child? I didn't know!" Tom exclaimed.

"It's quite alright. I'm…kind of the black sheep of the family. I don't like staying in the castle. I prefer being with Pokémon. Helping, healing, and making sure they're healthy…that's what I want." She smiled while she checked on her Pokémon.

"It sounds like you are great friends with them." Isabelle smiled. "Well, unfortunately, I don't think we have any houses available tonight."

"What? We can't let her sleep out here." Tom protested.

"Of course not." Isabelle shook her head. "We could give her a pass on the night train. I think the next town that may provide her shelter…" She pulled out a map. "Let's see, we changed the track to the stadium due to…um…problems…" She nervously held the map.

"You mean the bomb." Virginia stated and both of them looked at her. "I know about what happened. My mom…she was there."

"That's awful. I'm so sorry." Isabelle apologized.

"She's alright. She's safe and healthy." She smiled, but it quickly faded. "My sister, on the other hand…"

"Well…ahem…" tom cleared his throat. "So where's she heading?"

"I think she could reach the Crimea by morning if she boards the midnight train. And then, I believe it's the Mushroom Kingdom."

"Well, that settles it. But what else is she going to do in the great town of Elysia?"

"Elysia? I've never heard of such a town." Virginia murmured.

"We're an itty bitty town just southwest of the Mushroom Kingdom. We're kind of hidden from the world and we don't get many visitors, but we have a whole lot of heart." Isabelle smiled with pride. "I'll be sure to get you a ticket for tonight. Tom, care to take her to see the Able sisters?"

"Of course." Tom motioned for her to follow him as they walked away from the town square. Tom started walking and finally reached a small brick-layered louse with a sign that read 'Able Sisters' above the front door. Tom knocked on the door and a pretty hedgehog girl answered the door.

"Hello, Tom!" She spoke with joy. "Please, come in!" She gestured inside and he entered along with Virginia following suit. "Sable, it's Tom!" She exclaimed to another hedgehog in the back. She looked up for a second and then back to her work. Virginia looked around and all the wonderful outfits they have made and displayed around their shop. "So, what can we do for you? Do you need another shirt?"

"Nope. I just wanted to introduce Virginia to the greatest couturieres in the world!" Tom proudly boasted.

"Oh stop, we're not the greatest in all the worlds." Mabel dismissed him. She then turned to face Virginia.

"She'll know you soon enough. Watch this." Tom whispered to the second born. Mabel closed her eyes and sniffed the air before walking around the woman.

"You have a unique scent." Mable quietly stated as she plucked a hair from her head.

"Ow!" Virginia yelped while the hedgehog woman examined the hair before grabbing a pad and measuring her body. Once she finished, she set the notepad by her sister and returned to the princess and Tom.

"You're twenty one years of age, soon to be twenty two. Siblings…three in total. Two parents…both women…" She then grabbed her hand and felt her hand. "…a princess?" Her eyes lit up and she turned to Tom. "Tom, you didn't tell me she was a princess."

"I didn't know she was a princess." Tom insisted. "Where is she from?" Mable took the hair she procured earlier and sniffed. "A light hint of spices and herbs…" Mable turned back to tom. "She is the second born to the Hyrule kingdom."

"How'd she do?" Tom asked and Virginia's eyes were big while her jaw dropped.

"I…how…wha…" Virginia gasped in disbelief. She was able to assess all that information with a single hair.

"I think I did pretty good. Though I believe we can design something that will bring out your pride as a princess. Sable?" The hedgehog in the back nodded and began sewing with black fabric. "Consider this a gift from everyone in Elysia. We are honored that a Hylian princess has chosen to visit our small town." Virginia's heart felt warm as she took a seat to wait for her gift.

"Virginia, I need to get back to the shop. Would it be alright if I took my leave?"

"Of course. I'm sorry I've wasted so much of your time." She apologized.

"It's no problem. I'll swing by Isabelle's office and inform her that you're here. She'll bring you the ticket and, who knows? Maybe you'll find something to do before you leave." Tom waved goodbye and left her with the sisters.

"…the concert." Sable mumbled as she continued sewing.

"Excuse me?" Virginia questioned, but she didn't add another word while she worked.

"That's a great idea! Sable, you're such a smarty-pants." She laughed while she grabbed another spool and started sewing something as well.

"What did she say?"

"There's a concert at the café. K.K. Slider is in town and he likes to perform in small towns like this. I bet you'll love his music."

"K.K. Slider?! Sam was a serious fan of his music. Thank you, Sable." Virginia cheerfully smiled while she waited.

"Where did you come from?" Mable questioned the woman as she sewed.

"Vaniville Town. I…I just broke up with my girlfriend." Virginia pouted and sharply exhaled.

"But you don't want her to be an ex?" Mable stated while she worked.

"No…" Virginia admitted. "I was going to propose, but she was angry…and I think she said stuff that she didn't mean…but, maybe she did. So, I decided that I was going to travel around. Go see the world and all that, so I went through some kind of portal…and here I am."

"it sounds like you have quite the adventure ahead of you." Mable smiled. "Why don't you go for a walk? We'll be sure to get your outfit done before the concert." Before Virginia left, she noticed a brush nearby on the table.

"May I borrow this brush?"

"What for?" Mable asked.

"I'd like to groom my Pokémon, if that's alright with you."

"Sure." She smiled and continued working. Virginia took the brush before exiting the house and was quickly approached by her Pokémon.

"Hi everyone!" She exclaimed with joy. "We're going to attend a concert…the Able sisters say that he's really good. We just need to wait until tonight." Virginia walked until she found a tree and sat underneath it. Her Pokémon curled up next to her as she fell asleep. She felt someone gently push her arm and she looked up with her eyes half-lidded.

"…mmngh?" She yawned and stretched as Torch was growling at the strangers. She noted the fear on the faces of Mable and Sable.

"Torch, you stop that! They're my friends." Virginia stood up and bowed her head. "I'm so sorry for that. These are my Pokémon…and my closest allies."

"They're only here to protect you. I understand." Mable smiled. "In any case, we finished your gift. Sable, show her the gift."

"…s-s-sorry." Sable quietly apologized and handed the shirt to Virginia. She opened the t-shirt to show a black shirt with a golden yellow triforce in the middle.

"Sable, this…this is incredible. Thank you so much." She hugged the shirt and smiled while rubbing the fabric against her face.

"Here is our second gift." Mable handed her a pair of black shorts with the triforce on the left pant leg.

"This is incredible. How much…how much do I owe you?"

"You don't pay for gifts, silly." Mable chuckled. "Now, shall we get going? I believe Isabelle has your ticket and she's waiting for us at the café." Virginia smiled and waited outside.

"What are you doing? The concert's inside." Mable motioned for her to follow.

"if it's alright with you, I'd like to spend time with my friends." She sat down nearby and ran a hand through Zap's fur.

"Well, alright. We'll be inside. I'll tell Isabelle you're out here." Mable walked in with her sister and left the princess outside. She pulled out the brush and began brushing Zap's fur.

"It's been so long since I've had time to sit down and properly brush your fur." She began brushing her fur and Zap looked up purred to show her appreciation.

"You're such a sweetie, Zap." She smiled and kissed her head. Zap looked up and licked Virginia's cheek. Virginia giggled and hugged the electric Pokémon.

"I love you, Zap." She smiled while continuing to brush her fur. After a few minutes she finally finished and gently patted her back.

"Ok, who's next?" Zap whined with disappointment. "Come on, Zap. Everyone gets a turn. Here, sit over here." She patted next to her and Zap complied with her trainer's orders. Aqua walked up and laid down in front of her. Virginia began brushing her water Pokémon while her Zap rested her head on Virginia's knee.

"Aqua…you're the most delicate of the eevees." She smiled and kissed her forehead. Like Zap, she also licked her trainer's cheek to show her love for her. "You're such a cutie pie. Give me a smile, please." Aqua complied and Virginia's heart warmed as her aquatic Pokémon smiled at her.

"I love you too, Aqua." She hugged Aqua and then continued brushing. She finished brushing Aqua and, like Zap, she complained about moving. But, reluctantly, she moved and Torch came forward and Virginia started brushing her.

"Torch…the oldest and most cautious of all your siblings." Virginia smiled and, like the rest, she kissed her forehead. Torch licked her face and cheerfully chirped as she was getting brushed. "You're so brave and you care so much for your siblings. I love you as well." She continued brushing her fur until it shined like Zap and Aqua's. Finally, her attention turned to K-9. "Last one. Come on, buddy." Torch moved and waited until K-9 laid down in front of her. Torch then hopped in Virginia's lap. Zap and Aqua barked in protest, but Torch nuzzled against Virginia's stomach.

"Hey guys…come on; it's all going to be alright. Torch is just sitting here. How about one of you sits in my lap while we're on the way to Crimea and the other can sit in my lap when we move to the Mushroom Kingdom. Please don't fight." Virginia begged. Her Pokémon huffed with frustration, but Torch looked up and happily smiled at her trainer. She whimpered and as Virginia leaned closer, Torch gave her multiple kisses to her face. "Oh Torch…" She smiled and began brushing K-9's fur.

"K-9…" Virginia's eyes began to water. "You were my very first rescue…I remember you and an itty bitty growlithe. You're my best friend, K-9. Please don't ever leave me!" She stopped brushing and began crying. "I lost Serena, I lost Genny, I lost Sam…but I can't lose you. Please…please don't ever leave me." She pleaded quietly. K-9 stood up and nuzzled his head against hers. He licked away the tears and whimpered. "K-9…" she sniffled and wiped her nose with her arm. "Right. I should finish up." She continued to brush his fur and make him just as beautiful as the others.

"What do you think?" She asked all her Pokémon. Everyone smiled and barked to show their approval. She smiled and looked around. The café was still open and she could barely hear music playing in the background.

'The concert must still be going on.' She thought as one patron exited.

"Ah! Virginia! Mable told me you were out here. Sorry I didn't come out earlier…he was playing my favorite song." Isabelle walked over and handed her a ticket. "This will get you to Crimea. Here's a second ticket. Use it whenever you want to leave Crimea and head to the Mushroom Kingdom. I've given you two extra blank ones in case you want to further your travels."

"Isabelle, this…this is too much."

"New adventures mean new friends. I hope you make lots of new friends." She smiled sweetly.

"Thank you so much." She got up and waved goodbye to the mayor and walked to the train station. She sat on the step and poured out some food for her friends. She looked around for some kind of water source for them to drink. She found a small water spout near the station. She turned it on to see if it was indeed water and she took a handful to check.

'It's water.' She smiled as she sat and watched them eat.

"Let me know when you're thirsty, alright?" She stated towards her friends. They continued eating and the first to approach her was K-9.

"You thirsty, boy?" K-9 barked and the two walked over to the spout to drink. K-9 happily drank water before walking back to lie down. Aqua and Torch followed suit to drink water. Finally, Zap finished her food and drank the water. They sat around and waited for the train to arrive. Virginia heard a faint train while and quickly stood up.

"Here we go." She quietly stated as the train pulled up. A few people got off and Virginia handed her ticket to the conductor. She was granted access and she found a booth for her and her Pokémon. She sat down and Aqua hopped in her lap. Zap protested while Torch took the seat next to her. Zap whined and slowly walked towards the other seat.

"Zap, come sit by your sister." She insisted and Zap came towards her sister. Torch began licking the back of Zap's head in her attempt to clean her sister. K-9 went to the ground and closed his eyes.

"Are you comfy, Aqua?" Virginia questioned. Aqua purred while Virginia placed a hand on her back and gently stroked her back. A few minutes passed and she heard the train's whistle; ready to take her to the next to Crimea and hopefully, to the next big adventure.
